Okay pathetic beyond pathetic excuse I know. I've fallen into the trap of impatience actually. I get ideas and think YAY inspiration, then I sit with my sketchbook, doodle, then throw a hissy fit because its not looking amazing straightaway. Common, rude and downright anti-arty. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Actually I just re-read this and realised its a moan session, scroll past if I got it right and you don't wanna read that

If only mum would let me have the new spare room as my art room ¬ 3¬ Oh yeah, she went and blew 10 grand on a house extension. What led to this was...
Mum: Can he (my brother) have your bedroom when you go Uni?
Me: !? D': B-b-but I'll be commuting tons, like at weekends and in the holidays.
Mum: Mkay, I'll just build him a bigger room.

I was NOT happy Firstly, it cost 10 grand, so wheres my 10 grand then? Secondly, I'M the one who's gonna have to fork out £15k for Uni, surely the 10 grand would be better spent that way? And thirdly, 10 grand!!! Where the heck are we gonna get 10 grand from? So its built now and the only pro about it is that he is not in the main house, so it doesn't stink anymore, and theres no shitty music, no unflushed toilets, and no him basically. Its a huge relief. By the time he gets a freeview box installed in his new room, he'll only have to come in the house for food.

But his old room is right next to mine, so why can I set up tons of cork boards and art easels and canvas sheets in there? But noooo, mum spent wholly unnecessary amounts of money on it making it look pretty for guests

And now I'm funding a £300 bus pass while she pays £40 a month for his. I can see who her favourite is. I think its because I refused to do a course she wanted me to do. I'm into art and media, and English Language AS was painfully boring enough, and I'm so not doing A2. So she went ballistic when I said that, threatened to pull out everything like all Uni support etc etc. And this is what I get for it.

I'm currently doing my 2nd and final year of a Btec in Creative ICT, which includes animation, web design, photoshop, illustrator, adobe flash, cinema 4D, and video-making. W00p de woop. The only problem is, we haven't got a drawing class this year so I have no creative outlet. I worked best when I had an art class :\ I'm looking into doing an art club or something. When I find a decent scanner I'll post up what I did last year mkay?

Don't talk to me about Uni. I'll only go into one of my panic attacks (not literal but you get what I mean).

Things with Shaun are going great, will be 2 years come October 26th It seems likely we'll be going the same Uni

And as you guessed from my last few entries, I took the death of Michael Jackson VERY hard. I've been a fan since I was old enough to comprehend him. My first CD was my mum's handmedown of his album Dangerous when I was 3. Well my journal says the rest. Miss you so much Michael :'(

I saw him by chance in Paris, waving and smiling from a hotel window at a crowd of fans, on the same year.

I watched Moonwalker as a child. And I know it off by heart.

I dressed up as him for nearly every fancy dress party, theres even footage of me as doing a mini performance in my mum's bedroom.

I have a huge poster of him on my wall, an official doll of him sitting on my shelf, and a signed print on my wall.

I have every album he produced. And I know all the lyrics.

I defended him for every negative media coverage. And still do to this day.


Michael Jackson was not just a musical icon, he was a cultural icon. He influenced the world in thousands of ways. He was right up there with the best, James Brown, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Freddie Mercury, and those still living, Paul McCartney, Madonna, Quincy Jones...

It is a sad, sad, sad day not just for music, but for the whole world.

It pains me to know he died surrounded by all this cruel media influence. Whether it was true or not does not rule out the great things he did and he will be remembered for them.

It also pains me that he died so so so young.

His legacy will live on, through his music, and through me and the millions of surely-grieving fans out there today. I am in mourning and in deep grief.

All my love and deepest condolences to his family.

I loved you Michael and I still will continue to. You will live on.

Hope you are in peace now, away from this cruel destroyed world.

Shaun's Airedale terriers had a litter of ten gorgeous pedigree puppies! Ever so cute, I helped raise them from Day 1, helped name all 5 boys and 5 girls, it was great cause they all had really long pedigree names like their parents, like Bubbles's full name was Fairy Bubbles On The Wind, and they named my favourite after me Foxglove Roxy Gilbert. They all steadily sold by the beginning of July, Roxy was the last to go, and I miss them all so much, but it was great to look after them all


I went through with my AS level exams, it was a tough few months, really put strains on relationships and myself, I did crack up a bit, put on weight because of it But after everything was over, I went gym frequently, and I'm my usual size now

SUMMER IN BRITAIN FUCKING SUCKED. June-July we had a few precious weeks of gorgeous weather, then August kicked in and it never, EVER stopped raining.

If you guys have seen my most recent deviation, you'll know the gist of what happened when I went on my family holiday to Turkey

I spent my first weekend break away with Shaun We went to London, with free accommodation in Cheshunt and just shopped till we dropped (Camden Market, Oxford Street, Convent Garden etc) and also saw the sights, an INCREDIBLE weekend

I saw my Lozzie again! ( ) Missed her tonssss, happy 18th sweetie! Thanks for letting me stay, I miss everyone already! We may be off to Paris for a late birthday treat next half term! I have a lush precious expensivey present just because,

1. She's been my best and bestest friend for a decade now!

Well lotsalotsa things have certainly happened recently., urrrm...
Harry my friend from school invited me to his 16th birthday in which he took me, his girlfriend Jess, Shaun and Adam to Milton Keynes to a SKYDIVING SIMULATOR! I'll get the pictures as soon as I can x33
It was totally incredible, just like flying! We just step into a huge air tunnel wearing all the gear and a dude floats about with us helping us to get into the right position, and at one point, he held onto us and the air speed increased and we went spinning up right into the tunnel, about 15ft high, then we spun down again. On the way back, a tyre burst and we had to have this huge Mercedes tyre in the passenger seat It smelt of burnt rubber
Ohyar, some bad news, I had a sleepover with some old friends and the next week they went about saying I cheated on Shaun with one of my lad mates just cause I slept next to him. So friendship with them lot = OVER
For Mother's day I gave mum some chocs and a pic of Harrison Ford in speedos which I dug up on Google

Back to school from the half term, and I already feel exhausted -__0 *munches cookie crisp*
Its been a down then up week so far really. Over the weekend and into Monday, there was a tiny bit of friction between me and Shaun >_< But we only have to talk about things to sort it out, and by the end of yesterday, things couldn't be more perfect if they tried It was Four Months for us yesterday so Shaun came around mine after school and we ordered pizza and watched Patch Adams. Shaun cried almost as much as me
I'm in a nice serene calm and happy mood today, so I'm wearing rainbows again
I've been meaning to take pictures of my recent Asian-like haircut but my camera has died Shaun's got new hair too, no longer blonde , its a total Sasuke-alike haircut I don't really like Naruto but Shaun makes it look good anyway ( NO I WON'T start watching Naruto! o' 3 'o )

Mum's hand is steadily getting better now, she's got a funny little fishing rod device on her hand designed to exercise her new thumb tendon. I'm so tempted to make a paper fish and dangle it from the end

A new signed band played live at my school yesterday They were really good! They're a lot like the The Hoosiers and The Feeling music-wise. Their material has a lot of potential, so I'm looking out for their single and album, released in April and July, so keep an eye out for them, they're called The Days I got all their autographs and had a chat with the awesome drummer about our lip piercings

OHYAR, all those Gorillaz fans who've generously dev-watched me in the past, I'll be making a documentary for school soon all about my obsession with Gorillaz, inspired by MTV Obsession Sessions. Maybe you guys would wanna check it out when its finished at the end of next month? ( at least, thats when the deadline is )

Tis one of them lazy days see? *chews hay stalk*

Its been a sleep-deprived but pretty damn suh-weet weekend On Friday as a late Valentine's day treat, I adorned the dining room with as many candles as I could, and put down a red net tablecloth and set up some roses in a pot and laid the table with all my mum's best silver/china. Then I set up a playlist of mine and Shaun's favourite songs, then ordered our fave takeaway ( Pizza Hut ) then prepared the table with all the food and two glasses of cranberry juice ( we doan lyk wine lulz ). When Shaun saw it, he was so pleased and said it was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for him It was a real amazing night

I had work the next day for the first time in two weeks and I felt like a bloody Ancient Egyptian pyramid builder at the end of the day FOUR ROOMS to completely clean in FOUR HOURS. Its hard enough cleaning them in an hour and half which is what we usually take to do each room. I over-exerted myself in trying to speed through it and ended up with a splitting headache

It was a real relief to start shopping though. I've got into that adorable 60s look with puff sleeved tops, skinny jeans, dollie heels, and I even got a little polka dot neck scarf. I badly want a high waisted petticoat shirt dress for the spring! But ironically I also like the 70s, torn jeans, leather/suede jackets, waistcoats ETC But I had a good afternoon shopping so I was happier at the end of the day, especially when I met Shaun

We went back to his, had chips as usual, watched TV for a while, mucked about on the computer and listened to Jack Johnson, la di da
But then his stupid boss woke us up the next morning on the phone and announced that Shaun had work in less than two hours. Talk about unfair and short notice! So we had to get out of bed and get ready then walk downtown. I had to do food shopping since Mum hasn't had a chance recently cause of her bad arm. Her operation went OK by the way, but she now has a plaster not dissimilar to those foam hands you wave at football matches. I just went home and recovered sleep.

Now its Monday and I've spoken to Shaun before he's gone to another work shift and we might be going shopping again tomorrow in Exeter while Mum gets her plaster redone in the hospital Not much has happened, its been a lazy day, lounging about with incense and Jack Johnson songs, just started on one of many homeworks I'm starting to wish I'd gone out for a while, its a cold but a nice mild sunny day and I could be sitting on Tor Peak watching the sun and the sea while doing my homework

Y'know, I wanna end this journal on a happy note, so I'll divide this up into the depressing stuff and the nice stuff so you guys can scroll past my complaints and get to the point if you wish

Being attacked by bitchy girls and my mum having to have a serious operation and complaints about school work

So yeah, I was minding my own business with the lads at lunchtime the other day, and suddenly some girl with hideous extensions that I've never spoken to tips a bottle of water all down my back (Carla I found out later). I'm not a fighter nor do I give them the pleasure of a furious reaction, so I just turned around and hissed at her to fuck off. Shaun however stood up and went over to her and said that it was tight and she should apologise. So she flicked a fingernail at her friend who was wider than she was tall and said it was her idea. So this girl (Aimee) said in the most disgusting sneering sarcastic voice "Ohh I'm sooooo sorry Alex". I turned my back on her and walked off with Shaun and whispered in his ear "God she ain't half fat!" and puffed out my cheeks and giggled. Shaun laughed and gave me a hug. Suddenly another bottle of water cascades over our heads, and Carla's there shrieking "DON'T CALL MY FRIEND FAT!" So I turned, not paying attention the to the fact there was water dripping off my face, and said "Well if you're gonna tip water over me I think I have every right to insult you!". Then the fat Aimee girl went just about apeshit. I've never had so many insults thrown at me in one go, it was slightly scary to see her coming towards me, her face red as wine and almost in spitting distance. All I heard admist her shrieking was "FUCKING LITTLE BITCH, I KNOW I'M FAT BUT LOOK AT YOU, YOU LITTLE EMO SCUM, FUCK OFF!" And some more of where that came from. Shaun was between us, an arm out in front of me to keep her from getting close. When she finally shut up, the entire corridor was silent as the grave and gaping at the pair of us. But I didn't react, I don't sink to their levels, so I just turned my back on her and blew upwards ruffling my fringe and went "Whew...". That way, I said everything I wanted to say: That I thought she was a complete (fat) psycho.
Then Shaun took me down to the office to report them. Still waiting to hear how its been dealt with (and people wonder why I don't trust any girls whom I don't know).

Oh yeah, you know I said my Mum had a little fall and had broken her wrist? Its got worse. The broken bone was so sharp that its snapped a tendon in her thumb and tendons are like tensed elastic bands; when they break, they snap away from each other. So Mum has to have her hand sliced open in a special operation tomorrow so they can search around in her arm and hand till they find both ends and piece them back together. I feel sick just thinking about it. I hope she's alright afterwards.

Argh its gonna be a shitty half term holiday, for my two english teachers I have to produce a pastiche clipping of a novel I like, 800 words, THEN a commentary for it, and also I have to choose something to do a review on and produce a rough draft. And on top of that, for Art I need to choose my final composition and get it planned and finished for printing. And if that wasn't enough, I need to commence filming and editing on my documentary coursework. Jesus fucking Satan... Dx

OK depressing stuff outta tha way 8DD

I love Valentine's Day! I know everyone is gonna hate me for saying that, but seriously, I walk through school and people are just spreading affection for once. I saw girls walking around clutching teddies and roses, and lads with cards under their arms addressed to their girlfriends, and in town I caught the last of a conversation in a queue in Clintons as a man brought some roses and said to the people in the queue "I really hope she says yes!" and they all wished him the best of luck. I passed a jewelery shop and this man showing the shopkeeper what ladies' RING he wanted! Best of luck to him too I also saw a smiling guy striding down the street holding a pretty single rose and looking excited, and I saw another woman go past looking flushed and happy and staggering under the biggest bunch of roses. How can you guys not smile at this kinda atomosphere!? x3

Actually this journal iz for updates.

None of you guys noticed but I turned seventeen years old on the 1st of Feb. Had a pretty good weekend ^_^
On the day I got loadsa awesome sexy new underwear ( a first for me, I've never been one for confidence ), new clothes, a perfume and about £115 from reletives in cards. When I got to school, Loz gave me a chocolate slab from Thorntons with a message in icing "Happy 17th Birthday Gil!"* I've never had one of those done for me so it was real sweet. Still haven't eaten it xD Shaun gave me a set of gorgeous little studs for when I get my ears pierced again, and the most gorgeous birthday present ever, a real silver locket with doors shaped like angel wings No-one has ever given me something so sweet and personal After school I went out with my old sixth former friends, a nice laugh cause we all went bowling and then Pizza hut. The lads Lardy, Pricey and Matt all gave me fivers in cards, LAWL but Becki gave me a sweet little makeup set which was nice of her. Then on the spur of the moment I got swept up in one of Lardy's last minute planned sleepovers. It was a pretty good laugh actually, me and Lardy ended up sharing his bed because there was no more room on the floor, but the gay would NOT let me sleep! Everytime I closed my eyes he dug me in the ribs, prodded my nose or tapped me on the cheeks! I was half-dead when I woke up early for the big day the following morning -____-

I ran to Shaun's, had a shower there, then mum did a taxi round and picked up all the lads and me, thats me, Shaun, Lee, Adam and Harry. Then it was off to paintball, which may I just add, is freaking awesome I wasn't too bad for a first-timer, I only got shot twice once on my hard helmet which I didn't even realise till Shaun told me I had orange paint dripping down my shoulder, and once on my finger where I'd foolishly put out my hand to steady me. My knuckle is STILL dented. But I shot five people, 3 of them directly on the helmet. Its a real rush to see someone's head go snapping back in shock, which sounds really evil but hey its only play
On the way back we scooped up a load of junk food, Harry grabbed his sleepover things and a Roses tin from his place and on the way back they all had a scrap in the back over the tin, bending it out of shape as easily as a coke can. At the end of the journey it went like this...
Mum: Why on earth is it all bent like that???
Lee: Cause Harry's holding it.
A rofl moment for everyone

Then curry, a tournament of Super Smash Bros, then several games on the Wii which the lads are obsessed with -_-" A bit of surfing on Youtube and other creepy flash websites...I'll live as long as I never see The Ultimate Orgy ever again...Then despite my warnings all the lads watched 2 girls 1 cup. I've never seen it but I've seen enough reactions to know exactly what its like. I was waiting in the living room when they all came down, Shaun's face all screwed up, Harry's almost GREEN, Lee looking as if he'd swallowed a lemon and so on. Adam's seen it before so all he did was wind everybody up Thats all I remember though, I fell asleep at once. BLASPHEMY BIRTHDAY GIRL.
Next day, lazy Sunday of moochingaboutness, more Wii games, bacon sarnies, then just me and Shaun at the end of the day. I think he tried the hardest out of anyone this birthday, so I just wanna say, Thank you so much again sweety I love you!

This weekend was pretty darn good until the end. I actually feel OK instead of feeling like an insomniac.
Work went smoothly again, met Shaun afterwards as usual and went around town for a bit, met all our friends and their dogs ( or so it seemed like ) at regular intervals, grabbed something from a bakery and then went back to his cause it was raining AGAIN... ¬ 3¬
Mucked about in Shaun's room as usual xD Tickled him loads because I love hearing his laugh x3 - [link] ( Thats a REALLY old video by the way, when Shaun had ringlets and before he lost weight... SORRY SWEETY, luv yoo ) Then I stole his trousers ( no joke ) and ran off downstairs with them
Then we went to Blockbusters and rented Click, Mr and Mrs Smith and Catwoman And then we all watched Click with pizza hut and fish n' chips x3 I love Saturdays at Shaun's, its always pizza and chips night And his family are amazing to hang out with, seriously And Click totally caught me out, BRILLIANT MOVIE! A laugh-and-cry movie, 5 stars! Then Mr and Mrs Smith was pretty good too, afterwards
We're gonna watch Catwoman when Shaun comes around on Tueday

After walking Shaun to work today, caught a bus home and started cleaning out my room in a random spin to try and give it a makeover. Mum hovered nearby in case I chucked out anything she wanted to keep ( silly old seagull ), then she came into my room and chatted a bit while I threw out wind chimes and stuff. Then she turned around to leave, WHAM, tripped over my bin, smashed against my wardrobe and landed completely on her left wrist. She started rolling and wailing in pain, so I half dragged, half supported her out of my room into the bathroom ( with a very confused and frightened parrot whizzing around our heads ). She dunked her swollen arm in a sink of icy water, stuck her head in between her legs to stop herself passing out while my little brother passed her painkillers and water ( he was in tears, the annoying little fucker ). Then I said I'd call an ambulance for her, she got stubborn and said ambulances are for old ladies who've had heart attacks, not crazy stupid cows who trip over dustbins
Eventually a family friend picked her up and took her to the hospital. She's just come back, confirmed that its broken and its in a sling and plaster. Perfect.
So now my brother won't stop crying and I'm almost to the point of breaking HIS arm, and now I have to be nice to the pair of them.
FYI, Mum and I recently had an argument because she won't let me go out on a special night with Shaun ( 3 months anniversary ) cause she's got old friends with no relation or importance to me coming down to visit that night and she wants me to be there

Well good news, I got the piercing finally (: I'll post some pics of it soon when I can be bothered to camwhore.
English A-Level exam just passed, and I honestly have no idea how I did, except I certainly didn't have enough time to write Media exam tomorrow

However, believe it or not, I'm working on a lineart right now, almost finished, and gonna colour soon. Let me know if you wanna see the lineart first cause colouring is gonna take a while. I have some other ideas too, but I won't make commitments cause I never do commitments

Oh yeah the title, I am 17 in 11 days Planning a paintball/pizza party with my lad mates, but may go out for a meal and a few drinks with my other friend group if I feel like it, because they can be a bunch of cheeky bastards to me sometimes ( well the boys anyway ).

Family life is meh as usual, mother ranting at me cause she's sulking about my piercing, my brother being a suck up baby even though he's 12 years old ( he still sleeps in my mum's bed for fucks sake, and CRIES when she says no _O: ). He better not expect me to stand up for him when he gets bullied at school. He'll get slapped in the face with reality sooner or later.

But love life as usual is incredible (: Couldn't be better Shaun is coming around again today, for a night in with cheesecake, Super Smash Bros, maybe a movie or two and hot chocolate

But then health comes into it. I am really confused. Recently I've been prone to getting ill a lot in a small space of time I had food poisoning twice over Christmas holidays, and symptoms of flu at one point. I thought it had all passed but only yesterday I threw up WATER, but was fine after having MILK and cereal. Then after having lunch, out of SEALED packets, I stood up and swayed on the spot, my vision went nuts, my head span and my stomach flipped and I dived into the toilets only to retch and not be sick anyway. What in the name of Satan is wrong with me? Plus I have a huge amount of trouble getting to sleep at night, yet when Shaun took me around to his after school to take care of me while I felt ill, I slept like a baby for three hours ( with Shaun cuddled up to me ). Any advice guys?

I've been a little edgy this week to be honest. Maybe its because I want my lip pierced, and so far its gone like this...

Wednesday last week: Me and Shaun go in for the buy-one-get-one-free deal on piercings, and I'm nervous and want to see how its done first so Shaun goes first. I watch it happen, and predictably I get squeamish and start to hyperventilate, clearly in no state to get it pierced right then. So I let a few customers jump the queue while I calm down, then suddenly the guy comes out and says he's run out of labret bars -_____- So we agree to come back tomorrow.

Thursday: We come in around 2pm, reasonable time, and the hairdresser says he's suffering from New Year...two days after New Year's Eve. I get annoyed but I'll say we come back tomorrow morning before we catch a train to Exeter.

Friday: 10:30am, Shaun gives the studio a call before we leave our houses, and he's told that the guy suddenly now has the damn flu, but he'll try to be in tomorrow. I spent the rest of the day fuming and it wasn't improved when none of our friends turned up to go shopping.

Saturday: Shaun meets me after work, and we go into the studio, and the hairdresser reports the guy won't be back till next Wednesday! So I'm even more angrier than ever.

Wednesday the following week (today): We go down to town from school, and its CLOSED. Lights out, door locked, at bloody 4:30pm. The only shops that close at 4:30 are the totally lame ones like bakeries. I spent the rest of the afternoon in a total fury despite being with friends.
I won't stop pestering them now. I'm calling in tomorrow, and the next day and the next day till I get it done, and once its done, I'm going to explode and tell them that they're all a bunch of unreliable c***s ( Note: I don't like using that word, so thats a sign I'm seriously angry ).

And to top it all off? I have an exam which I haven't revised for. Tomorrow afternoon.
Do not want. Seriously.

But something nice DID happen thank satan. Loren 's ( ) present arrived today, a lush piano key belt and some adorable skull earrings. Thanks so much Lozzie

OK so I was under the impression all week that New Year's Eve wasn't until tomorrow. Err oops. So in a rush, several phonecalls were made and now I'm off for a meal in a fancy restaurant with Shaun then maybe wandering around the town for a while because my local town is absolutely INSANE at New Year, being a tourist seaside town and all. Its kinda like an unwritten custom that everyone wears a costume on New Year's Eve, and they get really scary. One year my mum and two girl mates stitched together a load of cheap false leopard print material and all went out brandishing mallets ( Cavegirls >< ).
Anyway, should be pretty wild tonight, I'm wearing one of my Christmas presents ( my black angel wings ) and going out as a dark angel x3
Oh um dear, resolutions...

Lose all excess weight gained over Christmas ( Shaun has free access to a gym and pool where he works, so 8D )
Kick brain several times so it gets back into school mode for my first shot at A-level exams ( second chance in June though so nothing too urgent ).
Maintain a friendship with all friendship groups, cause I r lazy and have been slacking recently >_<
DRAW MORE. Start dragging my sketchbook around with me, it might actually inspire me to draw again D:
Maybe motivate myself into driving lessons once I'm 17 because everyone is like OMG DEY R SO USEFUL LOLZORDZ.
Start saving! Important one, start putting away some money in my savings account because me and Shaun are arranging our first weekend away together straight after my A-levels and his GCSEs. We're gonna revise together, and then as soon as we're free, we're off to London for a long weekend Thats Camden, Oxford street, maybe a handful of museums and sight-seeing for sure Plus we're gonna hunt down this Cafe my parents took me to about a decade ago, the Rainforest Cafe. I love themed restaurants, they're so much fun x3 My mum's friend owns a B&B and she's all set to give us FREE accommodation so YAY
Keep my job! Its my first and I actually have grown attached to it so KEEP KEEP KEEP.
Keep up my attendance too, this EMA allowance works a treat. Plus I've never done so good in school before so
Try to finish this novel I'm working on ( Amber's life story ). Its actually an OK plot and finishing it will proove I've still got it in me to write
Write my freaking work experience application letters D: Otherwise I've screwed it up for good.
Keep up my relationship with Shaun, he's definitely a one in a million, if I lose him, I'm good as dead without him I love you!

Why the hell would I want to be dragged to some dreary buffet of pretzels and cheap coke and carrot sticks where my cousins would constantly tug at my legs begging for me to play with them or they'll shriek their heads off, my uncle would criticise me for the way I dress, my auntie would frown at me for not wanting to play with my irritating spoilt cousins, my other auntie would do nothing but bitch about my mum to me ( "oh your mum, she was always such a bossy know-it-all when we were young together, but I know I'm the beauty of the family..." ) My nan would DISOWN me, even though she's my only living grandparent left, my older cousins would suck up to her then bitch about me, while my mother gets pissed and my brother sulks and moans all the time.

I'm doing very well in Sixth Form reasonably, its a great atmosphere, much better than the last few years I've spent in school. My first exams are in January though ¬_¬ I dropped photography by ze way, cause it was too much hassle having a full timetable on top of all the homework.

Well I guess it will be kinda different this time cause I'm no longer fulltime education in a way. I'm now a sixth former, or Year 12 and I get free lessons and sometimes full afternoons or mornings off. I'm getting enrolled and my timetable tomorrow, then classes start Friday. I'm taking Media Studies, English Language which are perfect for my ambitions of magazine journalism (I got As in both GCSE exams ). I'm obviously taking Art because I could never give it up. And Photography was good fun in my Art GCSE and it will also be a useful A-level in my magazine journalism ambition, so I'm taking that too.
Oh and tomorrow I gotta sort out the appeal for a grade up in my Art GCSE since I was only two marks off the A grade Hopefully they will bump me up a grade
Right now I'm just relaxing, listening to some of the new music Ali gave me today and thinking about stuff I'll need for Friday. I just gave Ruby my parrot a bath She's all fluffy now

But there was one downer, I just missed an A grade in Art by two marks...
BUT:

So I may have been away from England for a week, but it appears I was away from DA for 3 weeks

So... on holiday in Turkey :]

I caught a great tan, and didn't burn once

There was a heatwave of 120 F

The hotel had 4 different pools, one which included two amazing waterslides.

The hotel had its own personal pier where people subathed and jumped into the sea.

There was a watersports hut there, and I went on an awesome water ride, and nearly got flung off >_<

Food was shit, but our all inclusive package meant unlimited drinks all day

The barman and waiters were SCARY. One about 23 years old begged to be my boyfriend, the others kept popping out of nowhere to talk to me, and the barman dropped ice down my top every single time I went to get a drink

Went shopping, and they have the most biggest swelling market of fake EVERYTHING. From FA football shirts to designer handbags, it was teeming with desperate shopkeepers. I got a copy of a perfume for £11 that would have been £50 in the UK.

We made friends with all the stray kittens there There was one mother, who was vicious as hell but she didn't seem to mind too much when we played with her three kittens. She was still really savage and evil-looking, plus she was black and white so we called her Bellatrix after the evil witch in Harry Potter One of her kittens was pure white with a brown tail so we called him Matches, one was a gorgeous tortoiseshell colour and we found her digging up the flowers, so we called her Lily, and the other got stuck in a mosquito net and we had to save her, and she ended up being called Kita

It was a lush holiday, and we were definitely impressed.

As for my everyday life...In a nutshell....

I had a fight with a friend because he invited me to a party but then decided he didn't want me to come cause he'd rather invite other people.

I'm FINALLY starting to draw again.

I started seeing someone but then realised it was cruel to go out with him because I have feelings for my ex still. But we're still good friends.

I've been to a couple of sleepovers.

Well I guess first things first, MASSIVE APOLOGY to my serious lack of journals and basic input. I fail at life as far as DeviantART goes. Its my school prom this Friday My final official day with my Year group before half of us go seperate ways while the rest are staying on in Sixth Form like me. My job was okay on the first day actually I have to work three more weeks worth till pay, but I have my plans ( Liiike, this adorable Edward Scissorhands plushie I've fallen in love with, or the Moulin Rouge DVD, or a new pair of Odessa shoes ramblerambleramble... Oh yes, I am going on holiday on the 22nd of July To Turkey, and hopefully twill be fun I plan to catch a tan

I've been a total stranger here me loved ones >_< Exams really are an awful drain. I just chucked out a massive heavy wad of notes, practice booklets, and revision guides. The recycle binmen will have a field day

As for the exams, in a nutshell...
English Lit 1: Meeeh, not enough time to write, I had to limit myself. Other than that, good.
Media exam: Now this one, I'm certain I did great It was easy as hell, and I had 20 minutes spare to make it all look pretty!
Maths Non Calculator: D: Baaaad, absolute hell! I have no idea how I've done, but I think I've scraped a C, which is all I want.
Graphics: ....The . Worst . One . Of . Them . All. I was going through a SHIT time right in the middle of my exams at that point, and it didn't help that the exam was total hellfire. I know I have NO chance at a B, which is what I was expected. I won't be surprised if I get a D >_<
English Language 1: Pretty simple ^_^ I had to limit myself though, otherwise, I'd wouldn't have finished the exam in time. Dx
English Language 2: Easiest one, finished half an hour early, and I was confident with what I'd done.
Maths Calculator: Meeeh, okayish. Iunno what to expect, but I think I've got a C which is all I want.
Science: Easy enough, just worried cause it was a low paper, so I could get a low mark anyway >_<

All finished!

Its starting to all fade away....everything we all once knew and loved is fading away slowly.
The first sign was of Gorillaz-Unofficial - [link] - Where the news was on a slow run. There was nothing of Gorillaz related news for weeks, months even.
Then quit her Gorillaz work, and moved onto her own work. One of the best, but she made her choice.
Then left DeviantART. Along with , she's one of the best Gorillaz comic artists I know.
Then the sad sad sad news that came out a few days ago... Damon announced that after the movie, there will be no more albums.
Its all gone too fast.
My artwork has improved better than I could have ever hoped. I was wrapped up so much in my love of the band that I didn't see the end coming. When that Gorillaz movie comes out, and I watch it, and I see the credits come up, I'll know that will be it. The end. I plan to do one final picture for then, even if I do loads more artwork before then. I want to do one final best picture that I can. It may not meet Lora's drawing standards, let alone Jamie's, but it will be my best.

I've even noticed that despite my love, my own fandom has been quiet of late. All my recent things are photos, MCR-related and just my own character Amber.
I can't imagine a world without Gorillaz. No Gorillaz in my life... its like taking the colours away from an amazing abstract painting. Suddenly everything is grey, lifeless, dull. I've even started veering towards new bands, like My Chemical Romance.

Well...
Many bands have lived on through their fans. Blink 182 haven't released anything for AGES but their music lives on through their fans and the love of their music.
Even if our fandom isn't as obvious as it was only a year ago, I plan to keep on loving Gorillaz. I may like new bands, I may draw different things. I may try new styles, I may create more characters. Amber Niccals will live on too.

If you are a Gorillaz fan, and a dedicated one at that, and I can name loads of you, you don't have to make it obvious, but please help Gorillaz live on through their music and fans. Don't let the world's most sucessful animated and probably one of the most original bands die away.

Well my first big GCSE exam is upon me now. It's this Wednesday, and its my Art exam. I'm doing some major remakes and re-edits of all my photos, so you might get VERY annoyed with seeing different versions or different edits or different photos all together in my deviations. I've re-edited Love, just done Happiness and I'm redoing Fear this evening. So one day before my exam, I've redone all my photos. I'm smart aren't I?
I'm just majorly annoyed that the weather is matching my mood and it won't be sunny so my Happiness photo had to be indoors which I think is crap, cause it looks so unprofessional >_<
I think I need to explain the newer method of my photos now. Ahem...
All my photos are done in two versions each. One is a normal colour photo and one is a grayscaled with a part of the picture picked out in colour. The part that I pick out in each picture relates to the colour scheme I've set my photos. You might have noticed it already.

Love's colour is Red, so the Love photos have red borders, and I've picked one of the red flowers in the grayscaled version.

Loss colour is Blue, so the Loss photos have blue borders, and I've picked out my blue jeans in the grayscaled version.

Happiness colour is Yellow, so the Happiness photos have yellow borders, and I've picked out a yellow design on my t-shirt.

Fear's colour is Black, and this makes things a little tricky. How do you pick out a black thing in a grayscaled photo? I can't think of any other colours that would relate to Fear though. I'll see how my new Fear photos turn out this evening.

Welllll tis been a good Spring Break so far Sunny and warm all week
I started revision yesterday thank god. And my art project is coming along slowly. I am redoing my Loss photos cause the quality is a load of ghey.
I think me holding off revision was distracting me from drawing cause after an hour or so of Math revision yesterday, I drew a picture for the first time in ages. It may not be finished by the target date, specially since I have much much to do but I'll submit the lineart if I can't finish the colour.

My Chemical Romance are taking over me I swear. I keep dreaming a lot about Gerard and Bob. I dreamt last night they performed at my school and for some reason I was the only one who stayed behind to meet them. I spoke to Gerard, and he told me he remembered me from the concert cause of my mask I got all their autographs, and hugged them one by one. I even remember what it was like hugging them Ray gave me a noogie Mikey was all shy and only put an arm around my shoulders , Frank patted my back, Gerard was like *squeeze* and Bob gave me a bear hug Man I gotta stop thinking about the concert before I go to sleep otherwise these dreams are gonna develop

Oh yeah, I won't be drawing much for now people, my exams are in about 6 weeks. This is urgent now. I need to write a revision timetable, finish all my coursework, and do all my art prep before my art exam which takes place a month before all the others. The only things you'll be seeing from me are my art prep photos I'm afraid.

Oh yesh a shout out to my boyfriend cause I just plain love him ever so much I think if I didn't have him over the past few weeks, I'd so be back in depression like last year. Now that was bad. I tried to starve myself, cut my wrists, cried everyday, wrote poems and shit like that. I don't need to go like that, especially this close to exams.

1.) I buy packets of Parma ham from supermarkets and eat it like it is a packet of sweets - Just take slices from the packet and eat it while walking along
2.) My most stimulating spot is my ears DON'T YOU SAY A WORD ALISTER!
3.) I eat Yorkie bars to annoy everyone who goes along with that dumb slogan
4.) I have a massive phobia of any horror movies. I can't stand even the mildest of gore. And tense films make me squirm. And a lot of things tend to creep me out. Like Frank from "Donnie Darko". That mask will stay in my nightmares forever.
5.) I have a hair fetish. If I see someone with awesomely dyed hair or mohawks, or emo fringes, I can't stop staring at it. I love spontaneous hair!
6.) I have the strangest accent ever. People around me ask if I'm American, while my American friends who've heard my voice think I have a strong British accent. I HAVE NO IDEA! *gonk*
7.) I have a limited sense of humour. I can't stand piss takes like Scary Movies, American Pie, Date Movie, or stuff like Austin Powers and Borat. Basically I hate stupid humour.
8.) I'm too lazy to get a glass sometimes so I drink straight from the jug or carton
9.) I sometimes daydream about Gorillaz, imagining that they are there in front of me doing usual things eg: Noodle strumming, Murdoc reading porn, Russel eating, 2D playing some zombie game and sometimes I imagine Amber's there mucking around with Noodle, reading magazines and painting each others nails etc
10.) I talk in my sleep. According to my mum who was outside my door on the landing at the time, I once shrieked "THE BROCOLLI IS ON THE ROOF, HELP!"


#02. Name 10 bad things about yourself.
1.) I am extremely stubborn, which can be good or bad I guess.
2.) I have no family feelings whatsoever for my brother. I feel like he's an annoying intruder in my home, not anything to do with me.
3.) I am VERY lazy. I won't get a job even though my mum is struggling badly with money.
4.) I am sometimes very heartless. If I find out a girl I dislike at school is suffering badly because of personal stuff, I tend to smirk and bitch about it to friends.
5.) I am such a junk food person its unbelievable. The ONLY vegetables I like are potatoes and carrots. And I rarely eat fruit or yogurt.
6.) I get into a sulk very easily. And when this happens, I tend to have no sense of humour at all. And I don't talk for ages.
7.) If I am held back by ANYONE or ANYTHING, I will do everything I can to stand against it. My mum grounds me off computer, I refuse to do homework and instead listen to my stereo. Loudly. Or I trash my bedroom to annoy her. My teacher moves me away from friends in class for talking too much, I don't work. Period.
8.) I love the idea of seeing the people I hate suffer till they die. I sometimes picture it and smile to myself.
9.) I've shoplifted a few times before. Not for several months now though.
10.) I tend to crush a lot. And this is bad. Because I feel immense guilt everytime.

# I wore my black dress, my MCR-ish jacket, black boots, ripped tights, net gloves, a skull belt, and my black Murdoc cross.

# I wanna say this seperately, I WORE A WHITE MASK!
Anyone who has seen "Welcome to the Black Parade" will know the Black Parade in the video all wear ghostly white masks I was the ONLY one there wearing a mask. It was a genius idea, more later

# We got in surprisingly easily. I got into the hall, and ran and there was only about 10 people between me and the front barrier.

# A support band and good friends of Gerard were on first, called Thursday. Pretty good for setting the atomosphere, we all moshed and raised our hands in a rock tribute Not my kind of band though.

# There was like a 45 minute break after Thursday while MCR got ready behind the curtain *gonk*

# One thing, if someone falls over in that place, EVERYONE goes over.
So theres a massive wave of screaming as everyone sways sideways violently like dominoes, and just as you've picked yourself up, theres a frigging REBOUND from the other side as they push back. So they all sway the other way! Basically you're trying to keep on your feet otherwise you just get stood on.

# All the while I'm struggling through the crowd as much as I can to get to the front. Some midget goth girl whizzed around on me and screamed "YOU JUST STOOD ON MY F**KING FOOT YA F**KING BISH!!*

# I was to the far left and I saw through a gap in the curtains a flash of their silver military jackets as they went up on stage behind the curtain!!

# I was halfway there ( about five people between me and the barrier) when Gerard came on stage by himself breaking into "The End". He looked so ghostly and beautiful, just standing there in a hospital gown over his uniform. Then as the song got going after the first vocals of the song, the black curtains swished open and there they were
Frank on the left side of the stage, and so CLOSE Mikey centre left, Ray to the right, Bob at the back and Gerard weaving in and out around the stage.

# Bob was on a spinning circular platform, which rotated with two sets of drums depending on which set he used for the songs. He looked so AWESOME! After Gerard, Bob's definitely my fave. Watching him, you could feel every hit of the drums through the massive speaker system. Thats how loud it was.

# Mikey came over to our side and stood on one of the speakers. Everyone went nuts as he showed off his guitar skills, looking down on us with that lush emo-y look of his. He couldn't hold back a smile though, I saw it

# Frank leant his guitar on a speaker and strummed it all like "I'm cool" Some screaming fangirl was leaning bent double over the barrier trying to give him a black rose He ignored her completely LOL.

Had a massive fight with mum this week over something quite personal, that was baaaad >< She almost stopped me seeing my boyfriend, which gave me a real fright. So half term ish over. Back to school tomorrow Oh joy. As if I can't WAIT to see Ashleigh and Kingsley. Tarts. (Long story me dears)
Still now the pressure is on. I have two months, two full months from now, to fill up my artwork book and prepare my art mock GCSE
I have to:
Study mask pictures from books
Experiement with collage and paint for mask designs in book
Do a still life drawing ( Grrrr ) of carnival based items
Study colour contrast
Study different media
And the most annoying part - Link it to an artist and study the artist.

Grrr. Art is gonna be FUN. Not. Especially with Alice and Kingsley. Woo they make my classes a hell lotta fun. Just them SITTING across the room from me makes me wanna stab them in the eyes with my pencil. But on a plus note, gonna see Andy, Shaun, Elliot, Lisa, Holly etc and obviously the Garys and Matt.


Anyway. OK WTF??? I read the part in Rise of the Ogre about number 23 several times to try and understand, and now its following me !! Everywhere I look! When I (SHIT NOT AGAIN ) check the time, its 23 past. I just looked and its 22:23 now! Its on posters (Eg: This offer ends 23rd February), its birthdays (Zoie's birthday was 23rd Jan), I see it on peoples shirts when I go downtown, I picked up a top in a shop the other day and I look on the back and there it is again! Then I discovered its in my MOBILE number. Sam paused a tape of a football match and by coiencidence he paused it as player 23 ran across the screen. My last journal entry had 23 comments. I logged on today and my latest picture had 23 favourites

Sweet SATAN, what a weekend!
Thursday was the absolute BEST In the morning I got my birthday present, a brand new 2GB Samsung MP3 player, and in total £160 from reletives.
My friend Jade made me wear a big sash around my waist saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and along with the massive '16' badge I was wearing, I looked perfectly ridiculous Hundreds of people in school were like, "Oh it wouldn't be your birthday now WOULD IT??" I got an awesome Punky Fish necklace from my loved mate Loz And my mate Pricey was amazing, he gave me a card with such a sweet message in it, and filled up the envelope with shiny paper shreds so when I opened it, it all fell out over me His presents were well nice, a copy of The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance* and two packets of Haribo. (Btw his real name is Gary, and for fun he stuck two very convincing G's on the H's on the Haribo packets Garibo!!) I also got some cards from a few mates and had a great day. Lunchtime with my other friends was the best lunchtime ever, we just basically went nuts

I came back on PC because I badly wanted to speak to Ali, but its all cool now
Thought I'd update here
ONE WEEK TO GO NOW TILL MY BIRTHDAY!
Sweet Satan, sixteen years old, I still can't get over it! Mum's birthday presents to me are a brand new MP3 player and a new haircut!!! Gettin it done next wednesday

In other news.... now the boring part ><
Exactly a year ago....one year ago, one week before my 15th birthday, was the day that what I thought was going to last forever ended. I had a friendship group through most of my school life, named by our first initials, AAAL. Alex, Alice, Ashleigh and Lauren. We had been that ever since Year 8, when Alice came to our school. Year 8 was our year. We were just us, a foursome of crazy girls. Ashleigh the bold, funny one, Alice the odd, different one, and Loz the kind, fun-loving one. Me the squeaky, caring one. Alice and Ashleigh made up songs and stories about teachers which stuck for years, we teased teachers, made so many memories, we were just a bunch of strange girls with our own way of having fun.
Come Year 9, we almost split. Ashleigh branched out, and made new friends, unknowingly to become our next friendship group by the end of the year. Lauren slipped away to the sidelines, but me and Alice felt betrayed. Me and Alice stuck together for most of the year. We went to the beach after school, we went swimming every sunday, we were in all our classes together, we were always partners, we always had sleepovers, ( one was in a tent in my garden XD ), we spent Halloween together, we were basically inseperable. Things with Ashleigh were rather bitter for a while, we had fights with all her new friends, including one indvidual whom she became infatuated with, and who still twists her mind to this very day. Alice left for a week, to go on holiday. And suddenly.... I was accepted into the group of Ashleighs new friends. Alice came back, and was furious at first, but then she gradually became friends too. The AAAL were re-united at last, and with new friends too.
Year 10. Things were OK for the first term. Sometimes a bit bumpy, mainly to do with the indvidual whom Ashleigh liked. Alice and Ashleigh had taken to teasing me often, and sometimes went too far.
January 2006. One week before my 15th. Ashleigh and Alice took it way too far in one lesson. I cracked. I cried. I ran.
That was it.
One week followed, and I tried the hardest I could, to make up and be friends again. Alice was the worst. 4 days before my birthday, that was the worst phonecall I ever made. Ashleigh eventually came back to me, two days before my birthday. But Alice never ever was friends with me again. 2006 zoomed by. I made new friends, had several unrelated dramas, changed myself dramatically. But the moment I realised Alice was never coming back, was the moment I knew AAAL was never coming back. And thats how friendship groups die. Since then, Ashleigh and I had a similar fall-out, and yes she is still infatuated with the same indvidual. All that remains of my old friends is Lauren, who stuck by me through everything. I have many new friends now. But none will replace or compare to the memories of the AAAL, locked away in my mind.
R.I.P my old life. One year today.

Well then the internet problem was fixed thank god. I didn't have time to write a journal entry last night, so I'm typing one as fast as I can before I have to go to school.
I've got a couple of comissions set up, and several art ideas buzzing in my head, plus still working on my band project 'Shock Therapy'. I've started colour on the first member, I think you will all like her
Got one to finish by Tuesday
Then I must start on another, which I haven't had time for
Then I can do my own stuff

On top of all this, I'm arranging things for my birthday Mum ordered my birthday present last night with help from Ali
My birthday is now in less than two weeks! Coming up next week, on Thursday 1st of Feb I certainly don't FEEL sixteen

My internet died yesterday, something is up with my connection. I aint got a clue what it is, but I won't be online until its fixed. I'll probably have something like 1000 messages when I get back

Been having a super weekend so far, best one I've had for ages
Friday night I spent with Ali, watching Pirates of the Carribean 2
Yesterday was so cooool!
I woke up, feeling extremely nervous and scared, I got into Cardiff Central at 11:40, and ended up in the middle of the station, looking for I rang mum, told her I arrived and couldn't find Melly, then I rang Melly, and I asked her where she was, and then what was she wearing. She described black skirt, black boots, red top and then I saw a blonde girl with her phone 4 feet away from me I was like "I'm beeehind youuu!" and poor Melly nearly had a heart attack She was ever so pretty And she had a real sweet friend with her, Beth
We went shopping first, and my god, Cardiff is ENORMOUS The shops were amazing, but BlueBanana was the best I was like in HEAVEN, soooo many goth/punk things, it made my local Tribal Voice shop seem shit. O_O
We did a bit of shopping, I gaped at all the goths and punks I saw around town, cause we hardly have any where I live. I met some of Melly's friends, and my jaw just dropped. All of them were so cool! And ever so friendly! Giving me hugs, talking to me, my god, I wish there were people at my school like that. We had a Mcdonalds, and I tell you, it was crazy in there. Packed to the brim,
Then we went to the museum, which was great. We were allowed in for free Melly and Beth brought me a magnet and a chocolate spoon, which was extra sweet of them
Then we had a Starbucks, which was great cause I love Starbucks but I don't have one where I live
Then we had to head back to the station, I quickly got a bag in Bluebanana
Then I said goodbye to Melly and Beth And got on the train home.
It was an amazing day you guys, thanks ever so much!

But I gotta split now, I only got 20 mins to get ready for today, I'm going Quazar with Ali and his friends

Righto, in response to my last journal, was my lucky 100th devwatcher, so I will get onto her picture ASAP.

Secondly, my sixteenth birthday is now to go through I've planned a day out with my closest mates, and then a sleepover party at mine My actual birthday is 1st February

Thirdly, social life a teeny bit better, but still very awkward in places ><

School life currently sucks

Family is mmm-kay.

Spent this evening with Ali so I can safely say that love life is going brilliant!

Kevin. I hope you're okay hun, I know I've been a bit off lately, but I will find time as soon as I can to talk properly to you I'm here for you, I promise

Well I don't wanna bore you with the details of my life right now, lets just say, School is boring, social life is shit, but love life is amazing Oh and family life is a bit tense >< Arguing about my birthday

Anywayz, I signed on this morning, and saw I had another friends add I was pleased yar, but then I looked at all my friends, and realised I have 99 friends
I'm one away from 100!!!
The next person to watch me will recieve a picture from me of whatever they want My 100th devwatcher
