i just bought the phoenix RL-59C ring flahs, and it just wont work on my canon xt, evene though where i bought it they said its for it,
i found some rumors around the web saying it wont work cus its for TT-L and not ETT-L
something like that....
but i rigged up a cheap simple flash to my XT through a hot shoe, and it works, but the hot show wont work with my new phoenix flash
please help meeeeee

Sorry gang, but all your submissions may take some time to filter through and get added. Were real sorry about all of this; however ~trixy54 has just moved to Cairo, Egypt, whilst ~Aestheticized is busy herself getting sorted out with university, etc.

So the both of us havent really been able to acces the net easily, let alone update the group. So please bear with us, and we promise itll be better than its been before!

Also, we may be introducing photo of the week very soon. If youre interested in helping choose, or submitting, please note us asking for information.

My Cameras Acting Funny, WHAT CAN I DO?

Blah, so when i went to take out the battery of my 350D, cause i needed to charge it.. i noticed the following:

that the rubber piece *highlighted in red* was a little loose, and acting.. well a little too rubbery..

Since we want this to be an interactive comunity, we thought of making a special journal (just until we master making our own chat room) where we (yes, all of us) decide how should our new ID look like.
This is the new journal. Here youll find some of the ideeas we came up with.

2. How about having some competitions?

To have a competition we need:
People to compete
How many of you would like to compete?
A theme
If we decide to have a competition for our new ID, we could already have our first theme.
What other competition themes come through your mind?
Judges
Should us admins be the judges, or should we try to bring judges that are not involved with the clubs administration?
Would any of you like to be a judge and not a competitor?
Should we bring outside judges?
Prizes
We thought of this:
-one week featured deviation
-one week feature in our journal if and when we get a subscription
-the possibility of choosing out next competitions theme
- `krash is willing to put up one of his prints, printed and signed by himself
- ~peculiarfolks sayd something about a one month subscription

What do you have in mind?

3. Interviews

We also want to do some interviews with canon owners. Maybe they can share some tricks. Maybe then can tell us hidden abilitys our cameras have.
Do do this we need interviewrs. Would any of you like to join in?
Well help you find the big 350 owners. Well help you find the questions to ask them if you want.

4.HELP us spread the word!
We want to make this comunity grow. For that, we need your help.
Can you help us spred the word?
We shurely dont know as many 350 owners as you do. Could you share with us your knoledge? Well write to them to ask them if they want in, if you wouldnt like doing that yourselfs.

5. We would like to write a F.A.Q. journal
But we need to know what are he most frequent questions a meber or future member has to ask the club admins.
We already answered
How do I join?
How do I submit a deviation?
What other questions do we need to answer?

6. Expect to see more of us!
