Hard to believe that summer is forcing itself upon us already. Spring? I know not of which you speak. Welcome to Michigan But I have decided that with the changing of seasons (good song in Persona 3 by the by) I should begin watercolor painting again. I know I have said this before, but this is one of my goals for the year. Plus, I want to give my coworker Miko a watercolor for a birthday present this year. She's an awesome person and has helped to keep me sane, and I think that is something that would mean a lot to her. So cheer me on that I can get back into the groove with that medium. It's been a while

Also, and I realize this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay early to be thinking of such things, but people might be getting artwork for Christmas gifts this year. Trying to save up for Japan and paying all my bills is tough work, so we may have to economize this year. Of course, I shall still bake some cookies - I think it would be a sign of Armageddon if I didn't bake for Christmas, haha.

. . . Ok, that was a little much. Anyways, I have finally posted a picture of one of my OC's. That feels so weird. I'm not exactly the greatest at drawing people, especially original characters, but I certainly tried. Maybe this will eventually lead to the introduction to all the twisted, tortured women who live inside my head.

Yes, they are all twisted. This one works in a brothel as a first job, and is an assassin on the side. Well, that is, before she gets shipped off to a high class school over seas and she has to start pretending she's a regular teenager. As you can imagine, that plan doesn't work out so well and she gets herself into all sorts of adventures.

Ha, I have so much fun with these guys! I will definitely have to draw the other characters from that story for you guys. They are each lovable in their own way.

Tatyana would sit there, smile, and be plotting where she would bury them after drinking all of their blood. She's always love the blood of tortured souls the best.

2) 9 tries to get 5 to go to a strip club.

Macha: "This is completely not my idea young lady, but do you want to go a strip club? (is thinking - I am so gonna kill whoever came up with this idea!)"
Jade: " . . . . why would I bother? I live in a brothel!!"

3) You need to stay at a friends house for the night. Do you chose 1 or 6?

Me: "Hey Kira, what's up?"
Kira: "How did you manage to survive coming this far into the earth to find my resting place?"
Me: "Come on, a bit more enthusiasm about seeing me would be nice!"
Kira: "Enthusiasm is a human emotion that is no longer mine. I lost it eons ago."
Me: "Oh . . . "

4) 2 and 7 are making out. 10 walks in...Their reaction?

Zephyr: "HI GUYS!!!!! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU TURNED GAY!"
Zephyr is then frozen for the disruption by Izotz . . . after Connor sucks him dry of blood.

5) 3 falls in love with 6. 8 is jealous. What happens?

Tatyana: "Mother . . . I didn't know you swung that way . . . "
Kira: "Swung that way?"
Tatyana: "You know . . . I thought you liked men, not women . . ."
Kira: "I do prefer men."
Tatyana: "Then why is there a naked woman standing in the doorway over there, with a come hither smile on her face?"
Kira: "I do not know, nor do I care, I'll make sure she's dead by sunrise."

6) 4 jumps you in a dark allyway. Who comes to your rescue? 10,2 or 7?

Serena is laughing evilly as she attacks! All of a sudden, Connor leaps out at her and lops her head off with his sword. Then he scoops me up in his arms to take me away . . . and have my blood all to himself. My . . . hero? Oh well, at least he's hot!

7) 1 decides to start a cooking show. 15 minutes later what is happening?

Chakra: *laughing evilly* BURN BABY BURN! BWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA! *the kitchen set and the rest of the studio are engulfed in flames*

8) 5 is in a car crash and is critically injured. What does 9 do?

Jade lies bleeding to death in the middle of the street. Macha walks past and merely glances over, thinking, "Human roadkill . . . justice for my fallen animal companions."

9) 3 has to marry either 8,4 or 9. Who do they chose?

Jesse would marry Serena, because she doesn't like women anyway, and therefore wouldn't mind having to share her with a bunch of men (Serena's a brothel madame after all).
Serena: "Oh, I feel so loved!"
Jesse: "We have been friends since we were kids."
Serena: "Oh, it's time for the customers to start coming in darling! Don't make too much trouble for my political guests while I'm away! <3"
Jesse: "As long as none of them are international terrorists, there's no worries there."

10) 7 kidnaps 2 and demands something from 5 for 2's release. What is it?

Connor: "I have Izotz!"
Jade: "Um . . . ok?"
Connor: "If you want him returned to you alive, come to my lair and let me have my way with you. If you refuse, I'll make sure this demon will only have a place in Hell . . ."
Jade: "Ok, I have no idea who this is, or who this Izotz guy is . . . so you two have fun, I'm hanging up now."
Connor: "Ah!" *hears a dial-tone as Jade hangs up*

11) You get to meet either 1 or 6. Who do you chose?

Chakra, because she's deliciously evil whereas Kira is very emo.
Kira: "What is this 'emo' you refer to human?"
Me: "Basically, it means you're too moody and depressed for your own good, let alone anyone else's."

Ironically enough, beginning work for the bank has jump-started my muse. It could be because the ladies have started making requests every time I turn around; I don't tend to think so though. On the art front, not too much is new. I have decided on a new way to work on my stories: people like short stories. Not too many like novel-length. So . . . I believe I am going to invest my characters in a number of short stories in order to flesh them out a bit, make them come more alive.

Not as if they're not yelling at me in my own head right now. Noisy buggers, let me tell ya. But they're mine, so I love them.

I did recently do another watercolor that I just have yet to post. It's pretty good, considering I haven't painted anything in a long while.

Tonight I am getting on a plane to head to England! How awesome is that?? But it does mean you must wait even longer for this other watercolor. However, hopefully I will come back with some pictures for you all to enjoy, and maybe even some more paintings will come out of it. With everything I'll be seeing, especially all the gardens, I think I'll be able to come up with something for you guys to enjoy.

I am trying to design myself a tattoo. It would be awesome to either have a wolf or dragon tribal tattoo, but making animals into tattoos is not my forte. Words, yes. Random images, yes. Eyes, yes. Animals? Eh, I did that once, and I think it consumed all of my talent to do so (but I'm sure the guy I did it for appreciated it). *le sigh* I would get it on my right shoulder, which would be cool because I could hide it when I wanted to, and it wouldn't be hard to show if I wanted to show it. The small of my back is too sensitive for a tattoo methinks.

Things to think about: what kind of tattoo would you get if you could, and where?

I want to write, but have no clue what to write about. Sad, is it not? Then again, homework still consumes my life, as I have an essay to do for my midterm now, and I have to start reading the next book for my history class. Utopia by Thomas Moore. Ooooo . . . not really.

As is, lately I have been consumed with my first love, my mistress (if women can have mistresses, personally I like to think we have harems), writing. I have recently completed a 127 page novella today, though it needs some final editing and what not. I am rather proud of myself for being able to complete it, and hopefully, two others which are related will be joining it. First, as I have said, I must edit.

In addition, I need to work on a story for the literary magazine at school, due in five days. Lovely huh? Since when am I a procrastinator? Since homework has taken over my life, that's when.

I have many philosophical thoughts of why this could be, but I don't want to bother anyone with them, so I'll leave them be.

School is being a brat, and giving me a bunch of busy work. The only reason really why I am posting this is because I have a bit of a break before my next class, so I don't have to hurry and do more hmwk. It's already done! Woo! Go me and my industriousness. But I can almost guarentee that when I get home I won't be on for long again because I'll have stuff to do.

In other news, I may have a few new things to show people right before school starts, which is on January 9th, but don't depend on that too much because you may be disappointed and we do not have the time for that!

I am somewhat depressed as of right now however, for the entry I put in for a writing contest didn't win anything. However! I refuse to give up. So my project as of tomorrow is to gather my resources and make the story better (and perhaps longer depending on how I feel tomorrow, lol).

My Christmas so far has gone well. Here with my family and getting my dad and brother ready to head off to Florida. Excuse me while I am jealous. Then again, if it weren't for school, I'd be right behind them. Ah well, maybe over spring break.

I have also discovered the wonderful value of scarves. I want my friend Heidi's scarf, it is versatile as hell. It can be a scarf, a necklace, a sleeve, a hat, a skirt, and so much more! I call it: the Versascarf!

Anyways, hopefully I will be able to regale you with tons of fantabulous art (but since I'm not that good, we'll settle for pretty decent art) once this holiday season is over. Like they say, when it rains it pours and that means money flying out the window during the holidays.
