Well, it's been a great 2 years...but I think that it's time for me to move on.

I'm conducting an experiment on myself! I'm going to start over on the internet. ALMOST a clean slate, but not quite. I'll miss you all, but I've fallen into a bit of a rut, and if beginning again will help, I'm willing to give it a shot. I've given up an RP account, and I'm still deciding on whether to give them all up. I won't be deleting my work here, so I can still look at my old things, but that doesn't mean you can steal it!

Also, there's another matter: my OCs.

Misty: it's been fun, but I just don't know what to do with Rie anymore. I'm not happy with the way that Rie's character has developed and I don't have fun RPing her anymore. You will always be welcome to write for her or draw her, and you can even RP her yourself if you want.

Jade: I've had a lot of fun RPing with you, too, but I've also run out of ideas for Michael. And all the drama in the Hetalia RP has grown WAY too distracting. The same goes for you too: you can always write or draw him whenever you want, too, and RP if you feel like it.

Aidan stays forever, though. :V

Anyway, I'll still be on my RP accounts for a while, while I decide what I'm keeping and what I'm not.

It's too damn catchy. D: I-I can't stop listening. I especially like the big choruses of people that cover the songs...the loud "AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!" for "Love is War" was awesome. The songs themselves are great--not all, but there are a lot of great ones--and the videos are often done very nicely. The "plots" are fun to figure out, but I don't really see why they're being RPed so much...Oh well. Who am I to judge?

Also, LOL at "Spice!". LEN FUCKS EVERYONE AND THEN HIS SISTER. THE MANWHORE. He looked like such a sweet boy, too. (Totally fits an OoC!Aidan, though. Hello, Rae, Aidan still remembers his birthday present.)

I don't like the English fandubs, since Japanese lyrics don't translate to English well and the singer sounds stupid. Some of their voices are terrible, too. It's like...stop embarrassing yourself.

In other news, SIX FLAGS ON SATURDAY FUCK YEEEEAAAARR!! AND ASDFSHDDKFF BLACKEST NIGHT OH MY GOD. I really want to see how the whole zombie thing'll turn out--and whether there really will be a zombie Ted Kord. Hmmmm. Also, I finished I Can't Believe It's Not The Justice League and it was GOLD. I recommend it to EVERYONE. And while it was hilarious (pregnant jokes, "WE'RE NOT GAY!", Guy's neverending lulz, "Call me Dick!", flipping patties in HELL....) it also made me very, very sad. Tora. Baaaaaaaaww. ;3; Guy actually not being a total asshole when he saw her, and then him and Bea breaking down when...oh man. And it was so weird to read it, knowing what happens to them all in the future. Man. How many out of the cast are dead now, again?

I'm also working my way through 52. (I'd totally cosplay as Renee Montoya as the Question if I grew out my hair.) Wonder Girl is turning more and more stalkery...a Superboy cult, really? That's just plain creepy. And OH U, BOOSTER, having patches from sponsors RIGHT ON HIS SUIT. It's looking good so far, hope it doesn't take too long to finish!

Oh. Also. I finally bought all my textbooks for fall! Bless you, Amazon--I saved over $100. That's a lot. And now I'm broke. Just because I saved doesn't mean it wasn't still expensive...Anyway, going to, uh, sleep. >u> Bye guys.

Apart from my fangirling at how amazing this series is and how much I wanted to give poor Booster a great big hug in Booster Gold #1,000,000--I have. So many comics to read. Holy moons of Thanagar. Me, Michelle, and Sarah went comic book store hopping yesterday. (Crimmy, we would've picked you up, but we had limited time and your place is the opposite direction ;A; NEXT TIME!) We visited about 3 stores, and all were really good, for different reasons: The first one had a LOT of stuff, the guy working at the second one was really nice and gave us discounts, and the third had dollar and quarter bins of comics.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold is the best cartoon I've seen in years.

ANYWAYS. Er, nothing's been going on lately! My first week of summer has been spent in mindless internet which mostly means participating in FEF's latest event (which is absolutely fabulous, by the way--I advise you members check it out, as Domanova is SCIENCE!love, and you non-members join the best collection of Fire Emblem fans on the internet). But I'm now entirely hooked on Amateur Surgeon, which you can find on [adult swim]'s website or by downloading on your iTouch. ;D Armed with a gift card, I did the latter, and I'm so terrible at the game. Trying to operate on the iTouch's screen is like playing Trauma Center with your elbow. I CAN'T CUT THINGS FAST ENOUGH, DAMN IT. Also, I bought the Dethalbum, finally! I absolutely cannot wait for the third season and the second Dethalbum.

....Also, if ______ turns out to have died last finale I will personally go hunt down Small and Blancha. THEY WILL MOST LIKELY DIE BY THE HANDS OF MY ARM WHEN I COME AND TAKE OVER THEIR FACES WITH THE FRONT OF MY HATREDCOPTER _{copter copter copter~}

Hmmm...if we exclude manga, it was probably an Archie and Veronica comic that my friend brought when we went on a field trip to Washington DC in 7th grade.

2. Who's your favourite superhero, and why?
Ooh. Tough. For DC, Blue Beetle III, because damn it all if he isn't the most adorable thing ever ILU JAIME REYES. Marvel, it's most definitely Deadpool. Do I NEED to even explain this one, seriously? Deadpool's AWESOME!

3. Who's your favourite supervillain, and why?
Um...I'll get back to you, because I can't pick a favorite. Sorry. Maybe the Joker? No clue.

I don't know, I don't think I really HATE any heroes in particular. I am kind of annoyed by Cable's status as X-Man-mutant-Jesus-from-the-future, but I still like him and I'm not entirely sure why.

I'm thinking about completely leaving the DA Hetalia RP.

Now, I love the people and stuff, but I don't feel like I've ever portrayed Russia the exact correct way, and I don't feel comfortable when dealing with more sensitive things. (Aka, Soviet is srs bsns.) I also feel like I'm just letting the account sit there since I'm in a rut of what to do with Ivan. Someone who actually wants to play him shouldn't be held back by me. Not that I haven't had a lot of fun with the group in the past--I was an earlier member--but now, since I'm not as into Hetalia, it's starting to be like more of a chore. Especially with California. Luzon? I'm just too Filipino to not enjoy Michael and his fabulous friendship with Queensland. 8D But I might just leave entirely since there's too many OCs there anyways.

As for the other accounts I have? I can't touch the FE7 RP, since I made it, and dude, that's my home fandom. (Ohai FEF's guildaversary and PARAGRAPH STYLE EVENT RPING <3) Also I totally have had a gay crush on Lyn for like 4-5 years. Jaime Reyes is staying most likely, but that's not a 100% yes. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but finding something good to RP about besides "lolhai I'm Jaime" since I fail at writing alien laserfights can be tough sometimes. Ron deLite is fun, even though it's been ages since I've played Ace Attorney, so I'm probably keeping him.

I took down all my posters...I kind of feel like my parents don't really approve of my nerdiness. I need to be more subtle about it (aka, not doing things like going to Toys-R-Us to buy action figures instead of looking for a prom dress, hurr hurr). Is it just me, or do /co/mic fans seem to be slightly more respectable than /a/nime fans? I mean, if you told somebody that you were a fan of comics, and talked casually about some things, I would think that would be pretty interesting. You don't see a lot of comic books fans around, you know? But if you told somebody that you were a fan of anime, you'd probably get the face and get called a geek. I wonder where my nerd hierarchy chart went...

Also, while cleaning, I found a bunch of old drawings! I'm probably going to scan some so don't be surprised when there's a big sketchdump of art that doesn't look like all my other art, since, well, it's older.

So first, me, Michelle, and Diana went to Safeway (because Diana wanted Mountain Dew). I bought these delicious brownie cookies...I want some now. And then we went to Barnes and Noble! Michelle and Diana were reading a bunch of magazines, and I got to read some Teen Titans. (60% of the motivation was because Jaime Reyes was in it.) It was awesome. I never knew that Deathstroke had a daughter...

Then we went to Best Buy because they're doing a promotion where they give you a $5 gift card if you show them your transcript/report card. I FINALLY bought myself Demon Days! I felt bad, since I keep listening to the Gorillaz on Youtube instead of actually buying the music. So now I have it legally. o3o

Afterwards, we went to Wal-Mart to buy stuff for a school project. Diana and I engaged in such shenanigans as hiding from Michelle and getting the people on the intercom to call her and incorrectly pronounce her last name. 8D

We went on to Burger King, because Michelle was still on her hunt for that Scotty toy (there are Star Trek toys there). After some discussion with the cashier, I got a Chekov and she got her Scotty...then squealed like a little fangirl. XD I wish I'd watched the original, then I'd appreciate it more, probably.

We also went to the one comic store in our town, AND I BOUGHT THE FIRST VOLUME OF JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL AND DEADPOOL: GAMES OF DEATH FFFFFFFFFFFF. I'm so glad I finally own something instead of having to download it all! I almost bought this collection of the entire original Booster Gold, too.

Then I went home, then went graduation dress shopping. I love my dress. <3 I also got to buy Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (ON SALE FOR $10 FFFF) and watched it last night with my parents. GOOD GOD, BROMANCE. My mom might've fallen asleep, though.

And after MONTHS, I've finally finished Post Captain!! I love the series, don't get me wrong, but Patrick O'Brian couldn't make great endings. Like a lot of others say, they're all just like chapters in one really big novel. A 5000+ page novel. But the Aubrey-Maturin fandom is a little lonely...I don't know too many others who are really into it. As is the fandom for American comics. I know too much and too little at the same time--I don't know anyone who knows as much about comics as I do, but compared to everybody else on /co/ I'm still a newbie, since I can count the series I've read on one hand.

Anyway...Senior Weekend at Berkeley was a lot of fun! I made a lot of new friends (:icondevblacksandpiper: included, go commission her for something because I have no money and can't do it myself!) and had a great time running around and being an empowered Filipino, hahaha. XD (Except when I fell down a hill and scraped both arms and knees.) Seriously--I felt like being all nationalistic after some of the activities! Mostly the workshops! We also drove around SF for a scavenger hunt. Insanity. And random rollerbladers that we almost ran over. I won't explain every single thing I did, because honestly, there'd be a big huge wall of text on my profile, har har har.

...Aaaand now I don't know where I want to go for college, because now I love Berkeley and all the PASS people. Ffffff. And I have to send in my SIR by May 1st, what?

Deadpool is making me rage you guys, seriously. Shortly after the writer change--"hey guys let's have a completely pointless outer space arc and entirely forget all the old side characters"! Even a TONY STARK cameo didn't make me feel like reading was any less of a chore. TONY FSKING STARK. IRON MAN. AMERICAN CHEESEBURGER. Sure, the "lol 3 supervillains sharing an apartment" thing was okay, but it started to suck after a while. Plot twist at the end of that...pffff. Dear Lord. That was terrible.

Also a second writer change did NOT do any good for Deadpool. Cruel Summer was like a bad fanfic, complete with Mary Sue--FOR GOD'S SAKE, HER NAME IS ANANASTASIA. YES, I SPELLED IT CORRECTLY. *headdesk* I really wanna just skip to Cable and Deadpool, but I'm kind of skimming in hopes of finding good things. Like She-Hulk punching Deadpool in the face and Deadpool kissing two men. (...okay, technically, one was a woman in disguise...)

Blue Beetle is much more fun. So many great lines. <3 ("Is that a giant green fist?" "Ma'am--" "Is. That. A. Giant. Green. Fist." OH GUY GARDNER, BEST GREEN LANTERN EVER. My mom says she's going to take me to see my doctor tomorrow--I might need a shot of antibiotics. I'm coughing and sneezing and sniffling and aching all over, and a fever developed. I think this started on Sunday when I was aching and coughing and it just escalated to this.

I'm kinda worried that I'll get better at a really inopportune time. >.>; I'm terrified that I'll end up screwing something up, like missing a test or having to retake it and not knowing anything and then I'll fail Biology or something; that's been my biggest fear this year, you know? I feel like I regret taking that class, I've lost hours of sleep over it and even shed some tears. It's tough. I'm also scared that college will be just as hard. Like, what if Berkeley is that difficult? What if I end up going there and failing horribly? And what if I DON'T go there and end up missing out on a big opportunity?

Also, I'm slowly shifting my nerdiness to American comics instead of anime...It's /co/'s fault. I really need to read Sandman, too--I remember reading a fic that crossed it over with Hetalia and I was intrigued. I'm trying to figure out which band member I like most, but when I try, I think about another one and then I have to start all over again. ...I think it's probably 2D or Noodle. T-they're both so adorable. (Also, I totally predicted the huge frightening fanbase. Silly Murdocx2D fangirls, Murdoc only allows WOMEN in his love-Winnebago~~ But, er, I do still think 2D might be fanboying a bit too much over him. "You're....really...beautiful" WHAT why are you watching him on his sleep while you're all trapped in a studio) Which takes me to the "NO I am not shipping anything" bit. No. No yaoi. Not of this. I got to see a guy from Lawrence Livermore Lab, a Marines recruiter, somebody from this weird private college in the middle of nowhere, and a judge. The judge was the best, because he got random, awesome cases. Defending a golfer whose golf ball knocked some guy's eye out, defending a haunted house ("I'm ____ and I'm defending the House of Doom..."), and some other stuff. XD And Crimmy and I walked together! Hooray! It was fun and we should do it more often. o3o

And I didn't even think of Ivan that much while I was reading, although I feel REALLY REALLY bad for him now after reading the extremely dramatic and graphic execution scene. I've found that I'm accumulating books I want to read! AND THEY'RE NOT EVEN MANGA SRSLY. I'm so proud of myself. Just finished The Importance of Being Earnest in English (ffffff muffinsex best ever I love you Oscar Wilde) and, of course, The Kitchen Boy for Senior Odyssey, and ajdfljaklfjkla I want to read more stuff. I bought The Picture of Dorian Gray on a whim (and because I've been wanting it) like last week and the few pages I've read are pretty nice. I'm still reading Through The Corner of His Eye, and I've found I rather like Dean Koontz. o3o I want to read the Odd Thomas series too. Maybe when I get the time. Aaaaand I've yet to finish Maus, which, admittedly, is a comic, BUT IT'S PRETTY AWESOME. *likes WWII too much*

MAD SCHOLARSHIP APPLYING IS GO!!

I ganked like 5 scholarships from our school's career center. o3o And I haven't written an academic essay in like...ever. Last time was when I wrote that one for, um, Pride and Prejudice. Few weeks ago? I MISS ESSAYS. I got an AP-scored 8 on the one I wrote on Frankenstein. o3o I feel bad, I've been putting off posting in some roleplays I'm in (TO YOU COOL GUYS IN "WHAT IF SIEGELL WON?" AND "CURSE OF THE LOOKING GLASS" AND YOU WONDERFUL ANIME CLUB GUYS, I'M SO SORRY) but...this is more important. D| Once stuff cools down and I've got some essays written, I'LL POST I SWEAR.

BUT BACK TO ME AND COLLEGE. UC Riverside is offering me $5000 if I go to their school, soooo...we're going to a picnic. For cool scholarship people like me. In Riverside. Next weekend. |D It feels weird going all the way down there on a not-special weekend, it does. I don't mind UCR itself, it sounds all right, but what bothers me is that it's mocked as the "University of Cal Rejects". And I still don't know if Berkeley's gonna accept me, so... ;~; *sob* I really wanna go to Cal, but it's probably pretty expensive, and Riverside's giving me money...WHY DIDN'T I APPLY TO MERCED, TOO? *headdesk* Maybe I'll transfer. Uhh.

Soooo, gonna ask Mr. H to re-print me several copies of that letter of recommendation he wrote me earlier this month. XD And going to also ask my elementary/middle school principal to write me one because she loves my family (and some of the scholarships I'm applying to need multiple letters, ONE OF THEM WANTS THREE WHAT).

I'm also looking at Fastweb, which is an excellent scholarship database by the way, and trying to figure out what kind of animal cruelty I should write about for that Voice for Animals scholarship thingy. So I saw the commercials but I didn't bother to really look into it--Cartoon Network has a new MMO called "Fusion Fall", and it looks pretty cool. I hear rumors of it making your computer crash, but aside from that, I haven't heard anything negative about the game itself. Which is, essentially, Bleedman's Powerpuff Girl Doujinshi only official. With more of the other cartoons, less blood, an E-10 rating, no Zim or stuff from other networks, and an absent Buttercup for some bizarre reason...

Yesterday was awesome. We had a party at Madai's. There was a magical cookie that would not break and landed on things absolutely perfectly. We danced around. There was suggestiveness. We ran around late at night and had RPG-esque adventures, complete with KICKING STUFF TO GET MONEY.

And me and Crimmy were partypoopers and had our own individual adventure when we got lost. "I..Is that a real dog?" 8D

In other news, FINALLY finished a Christmas gift? I don't really like how it turned out but at least it's better than a pencil sketch. (I can still redo yours if you want, Tori.) Gotta do Rath's next, and decide whether I'll do it by hand or on MyPaint2. I'm also RPing Kirby now, done on a whim.

I finally caught up with FMA, the new chapters are pretty freaking amazing. I won't spoil nothing, but yeah it was great. I'm watching Metalocalypse too, yaaaay~ Just remembered how much I loved Ofdensen.

1. I am really, really vulnerable to new fandoms. Really vulnerable. Give me a new game to play, a new book to read, and in a couple days I'll be so obsessed with it that it'll be all I talk to you about. If you look through my gallery you can tell when I went through what phase. XD

2. I tell people I like rock, but my taste in music is pretty eclectic, actually. From emo to punk to R&B to video game music to metal to pop to hip-hop to instrumental--I don't listen to everything but I do listen to a lot of stuff.

3. I am kind of idealistic...and more than a little naive. ._. This scares me for when I go to college...

4. I really wish I knew more Tagalog. How sad, I've heard it every day of my life and I'm still not fluent....

5. I'm Catholic. But I kinda want to see if I can poke around other denominations to find one that I can agree with a bit more.

6. I am single and NOT looking. Sorry, boys. 8D I'm too busy for that.

....So this is all bad, all around.

I hate how the Korean news is making Hetalia out to be some big attack against Korea when it isn't. I don't know anything about Korea, so it's not really for me to say, though...Another thing that disappoints me is the FUCKING JAPANESE TROLLS that keep copy-pasting the most hateful prejudiced comments I have ever seen. (Maybe even worse than the hateful homophobic comments you sometimes find scattered here and there.) I have nothing against Korea, and I have nothing against Japan, but THE HATE NEEDS TO STOP. Korea should look into Hetalia more--really, it's a WEBCOMIC, I don't know a thing about Korea but how harmful can it be?--and the trolls need to quit using this as fuel for their racism. :/

Thomas stayed at Michiru's grave and ANGSTED MORE, this time with the sword that Tennosuke murder-suicided with.

Blossom freaked out because Aidan was gone! Ryan bought ice cream. Aidan and Elliot came home, then RIE HAD HER BABY. Grandma Lily and Grandpa Ethan appeared and got to see Baby Alexis! Elliot angsted over his first son and first wife. Ethan followed him and showed off his abilities as a motivational speaker (HE'S MY ATTICUS FINCH CHARACTER). They went back and Elliot stopped angsting, and all was well. :>

Uhhhh. At first I was like, "Pfff have a sense of humor, it's just a parody after all", but, well, after reading some eloquent comments on it, yeah, it's real history that's being addressed. And it's very easy to make people mad with stuff like that, so I understand where they're coming from...I even get squicked sometimes. (Hetalia kink meme? Sometimes it crosses the line. A lot. >.> GermanyxPoland, DO NOT WANT. Apologies to whoever requested/likes that pairing.)

The likelihood of it getting canceled is low, and the likelihood of it being a troll trying to stir stuff up is high (apparently there are a lot of Japanese people that don't like Koreans? correct me if I'm wrong).
