I managed to get myself an awesome boyfriend, Brian, who plays in 2 local metal bands, he drums for Akakor and plays guitar for Nusquam Esse (though they're still looking for a new vocalist ). He's super cute and likes to go out and do lots of different things. I think I've done more in the 3 months we've been together than I have with any of my other boyfriends put together. He's really opened my eyes to a lot of different things, and especially lots of different foods (his favourite thing! ). He skateboards, which is super hot , and likes movies like The NeverEnding Story. What more could a girl ask for?

Next on the list of new things, I've been accepted to SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) for the fall semester starting in September for New Media Production & Design. It's basically digital design, website design, flash, video editing and lots of html and css coding. I'm super excited! I've paid my $250 tuition deposit, so my seat in the course is guaranteed Now all I need to do is pay the rest of the tuition and start prepping myself for starting school again after being out for so long haha. But it should be fun. It's going to be a super small class (64 students), so there'll be lots of one on one with the teachers.

Thirdly, I'm going on a cruise to Alaska, and a 7 day land tour of Alaska in 5 DAYS!! I'm super excited Although, while I'm away, I'm going to really miss my sister and Brian. We leave for Vancouver on Friday, and we'll spend a couple days there until everyone meets up. My Aunt from Australia is coming, and a couple of my Aunts and Uncles from Ontario are coming, my Aunt from here in Calgary is coming with us, and we're meeting up with some more family in Vancouver, so it'll be a family filled affair! We board the cruise ship on the 8th, and sail for 2 days, until we get to Ketchikan, Alaska, where my mom and I will go on a Rainforest hike and feed the reindeer at the wildlife sanctuary. After sailing for another day, we'll stop in Juneau, Alaska and go whale watching! We'll be going along the side of the glacier so there will be lots of seals and other wildlife as well as lots of killer whales (apparently). Our last land trip will be in Skagway where we will take a motor coach through Alaska along the White Pass rail, all the way through to the Yukon, back in Canada. It'll be awesome seeing one of the northernmost territories in my own country Once the cruise is over, we will disembark the ship in Anchorage, Alaska and go to an iditarod camp where they train the dogs how to pull sleds. We will watch them being trained, get to play with the pups in training, and go on a "sleigh ride" with them, but really they're just pulling us in a golf cart put into neutral After that, I'm not exactly sure what we're doing, but no matter what, it's going to be great.

Fourth, I have a new job. It really isn't great, but I enjoy it. My sister, myself and two of her friends got a job together removing graffiti from the downtown core here in Calgary. We wander around downtown and remove anything illegal, including stickers, posters and of course, graffiti. It really doesn't sound great, but we have no one monitoring us, we just wander around and talk, sometimes sing in an out-of-tune quartet, and clean up the city we live in, and an added bonus... you don't have to dress up for the job! hahaha my sister and I go to work everyday in sweatpants (with shorts for the afternoon, it's much too hot for sweats ALL day ) and our work shirts which are a highlighter blue, with highlighter orange hats. So, yesterday, I went and spent some of that money. I bought a regular point-and-shoot. And seriously, some of them are so nice, I tend to forget that with having a DSLR. The one I bought is super rad. Instead of photoshopping all my pictures to make only the reds (or any other colour I so choose) saturated, I can do that on this camera. WTF? And it's just handy to have around when you can't go places with a DSLR. Now I remember why I've missed having a point-and-shoot!

I also bought a lens cap for my telephoto (seeing as how I lost the original one while horseback riding, and have just been putting the lens hood on it to keep it from touching anything ), the super ultra cool D-BG3 battery grip for my K200D and got a wicked deal (check it online, minimum $70, I bought it on sale for $50!!), another 2GB memory card for the new camera (Canon SD880 IS), AAAAAAAAAAND 5 rolls of 120 film for the HOLGA (yes, a Holga 120N) my dear friend Glenn lent me.

I think, I am most pumped about the Holga right now though. I was about to put a roll of filmin it, when I realized, I didn't have any electrical tape to cover the light leaks in it though. So, I still haven't used it, but am contemplating using it without the tape to see how one roll turns out WITH leaks. If you have used a Holga and have any tips, please, let me know!! I'd be glad to hear em!!

After alllllllll that, I still need to buy an external hard drive for my computer to put all my pictures and music on, and then, the rest of the money that I got goes straight on my VISA. So, I'm guessing that I'll be able to put about.... $1000 onto my VISA, after I buy the hard drive. Which makes me super excited.

Dan and I have broken up. It was in April sometime, I think. Didn't really keep track. It was kind of mutual, in a way, but kind of forced because of the situation.

So, I've moved back to my mom's place. I've done a lot of growing up since Dan. I have realized that my whole reason for moving out of my moms in the first place was stupid. I moved out because I thought we fought too much. We didn't fight that much at all, really. I fought with her. All my mom tried to do was get my life going in the right direction. She was only trying to help. And had I listened to her, I might have done a lot more with my life by now. I would be done university or college, but now, I haven't even started. My younger sister will be done university before me, all because I chose to be stupid, without realizing it. I missed out on so much of my family because Dan and I lived so far away, and he didn't like visiting with them. He thought they were boring. So... I missed out on almost 4 years of my family. I may as well have lived in another country.

But my eyes are open now, I've done what growing up I can for now, and I'm doing the best I can to fix my mistakes and get my life on track. I'm quitting my shitty job soon, fixing up my resume to get a decent paying job, and one that I can move up in, getting a portfolio together to apply for schools, and getting re-acquainted with my family.

It's going to be tough proving myself to my family, proving myself to me, that I'm not going to let myself get in another situation like that. But I'm definitely going to do my best. I need to make myself me again. Make myself be who I want to be, not who someone else wanted me to be. I am who I am now because of the things I've done and the people I've met, but not everything is likable. And I'm planning on fixing that.

I am almost happy now. And I'm happy it's come before it's too late. The clock is ticking, I'm not getting any younger, and I've already screwed up too many things. Time to fix it, before the sands stop falling...

My mom bought it for me so that I could use it to get in school, and of course, use it while I'm in school I LOVE IT!! Great camera for getting started in photography. Yesterday was mine and Dan's 2 years So as of today, we've been going out for 731 days Yay! I bought Dan the new NIN cd, and he bought me a Misfits insence holder, which is so cool. It's not the simple ones, it's all porcelain in the shape of a casket and it has the fiend laying inside it and you put the insence in his mouth. You can take the lid of the casket on and off haha. It's so sweet.

Also, at work, I got a raise, so now I am being payed $8.40 an hour...woohoo! But shhh...no one I work with must know...(they'll think it's unfair I got a raise and they didn't)

Yesterday, my dad, my sister and I saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Holy crap....amazing movie....They cut so much out of the movie that was in the book, and even though I know they had to because the movie would be way too long, I was still disappointed. The Quidditch World cup happened way too fast, AND we didn't even get to see Bill or Charlie at all in the movie, or Oliver Wood! Oh well...Voldemort looked so cool though...anyways, I'll stop talking so as not to ruin the movie for those of you who haven't seen it, if you ever plan on seeing it (which you better, or I will personally hunt you down and kill you...just kidding...but you better watch it!)

So today and yesterday have been absolutely freezing. Both today and yesterday it's been -13C, but -22C with the wind chill. I think I'm going to die of coldness. I even bought a thermal shirt the other day! I love the snow, but I HATE the cold...and I'm rambling...

Ok, I want everyone's opinion. Dan and a friend from work both think I should dye my hair blonde...but I'm not sure if I should, and my sister says I shouldn't. What do all of you think? (any of you who read this, that is)

I can't think of anything else to write, so I'll just stop now...

I got a job, working at Wal-mart. It's pretty cool. Everyone there is really nice. I met a guy named Mike, and he likes all the same music Dan and I listen to, so it's fun talking to him, and I've met lots of other cool people too. And the job is pretty easy, except that my Department Manager (Lingerie, Sleepwear, and Accessories) is getting mad because the Dept Manager from Cosmetics keeps asking for me to go and help her even though Lingerie, Sleepwear, and Accessories needs more help than Cosmetics does. So I'm kinda in the middle of a small fight and I can't do anything about it because I have to go where my other manager tells me...

Then, a couple days ago, Dan's car broke down right before we were going to go see Saw II. He hit a really big speed bump in the Sobeys parking lot on his way to pick me up and he must have cracked his radiator or something because coolant was gushing everywhere. And then Travis, the idiot that he is, took the cap off the radiator before it was cooled down so the cap and coolent was flying straight up in the air like a geyser. It was hilarious.

The movie was awesome, and I can't wait to see the 3rd one. And if you haven't seen it, yes, it makes it look like there will be a third one, but that doesn't ruin the movie.

And I'm done...

Oh wait, today I shaved Frisco down, so now he's actually kinda cute again. And now I'm done...

A Calgary band opened the show, they were called DESTINY CALLING. The drummer and guitarist were both wearing wigs haha. They looked hilarious, especially the guitarist because it was a girls wig with big bangs. It was awesome. They played 4 songs I think it was. But I could hardly see anything because I'm so damn short and all the asshole tall people saw a good place to stand...in front of me. So I got really grumpy because I couldn't see anything. And then in their last song, there was a mosh pit, and some stupid kid joined in and looked so surprised when someone hit him...I don't know if he knew what a mosh pit was all about...

Then, a Regina band, INTO ETERNITY, came on. They were awesome too. The bassists head moved so damn fast you couldn't even see his face. It was like that shitty movie "Night Stalker". If you've ever seen that, you'll know what I'm talking about. But again, I couldn't see anything, because the 3 fucking tallest people in the whole place stood right in front of me. I swear, these 3 guys were like 6'9"!! And they stood in front of me! A 5'5" chick! FUCKERS! So I got really grumpy because I couldn't see a damn thing. So Dan and I moved to the back and stood on these stair things. I could now see, but we were almost at the back. But it's ok, because from the stage to the back, was probably 100 feet haha. This place was tiny.

Then....STRATOVARIUS CAME ON!!! OMG. They are such an awesome show. If you ever get the chance to see them, GOOO!!! Timo Kotipelto is fucking awesome. He was so damn charismatic, he had the whole audience captivated. And he didn't even have to try to project his voice. He was amazing. Kotipelto said he had a bit of a cold, but you couldn't even tell. They played a song called "Finland" off their upcoming album, and holy shit, it was awesome. I have a feeling Kotipelto wrote it, but then again, I could be wrong. It just seems like a song he would write...Ok I can't quite remember the order of the songs they played, but I know they played, "Hunting High and Low", "Black Night", "Black Diamond", "Finland", "Legions", "Destiny", Dan says they played "A Million Light Years Away", but I don't remember hearing it, and I think they played "Fright Night", but I can't remember for sure. After they played their set songs, they came back on and played 2 more, and then left again. Then loads of people left and they came back and played ANOTHER 2 songs!! It was SO awesome. That was officially the best show I've ever been to...

Schreiber is a little town, population 1700, and we stayed in my Grandma's house, even though she doesn't live there any more (she lives in the hospital temporarily). So, we had loads of family dinners...actually, we had one every single night that we were there. They were tons of fun, but after a while, you can only take so much family without going insane. One day, my cousins Stephan, Sean, my sister Dani and I were walking to my Uncle Terry's and a red Ford Probe drives by and everyone in it is staring. So we all just laugh and keep walking, but then they turn around and drive by us again, this time, they whistle. Then...they turn around again and drive by us again and someone yelled "Shake that ass!" and someone else whistled. That was our first introduction to a couple new friends Dani and I made later on haha. Eventually, we met the owner of the Probe, his name is Christian, and he was really nice. A couple days later, he gave us his number and told us to call him if we wanted to hang out before we left.

One night, Dani and I were walking around the town and decided to take a rest and sit by the bridge. A girl and a guy walked up to us and asked us to come to a party with them, so we said sure. The girl, Lisa, was loaded and had originally walked up to us with her pants undone haha. And the guy, Justin, was almost as loaded, so it made for an entertaining walk to the party, but, the party was lame. Somehow, Christian came up in the conversation at the party and Lisa started freaking out. She said "You know Christian?! Val! She knows Christian!!" and then this girl, Val, procceeded to glare at me. Lisa said, "Don't hang out with Christian, he's bad news. He cuts his girlfriends!" I was so stunned, but I didn't believe it for two reasons. One, she was loaded, and two, he was way too nice of a guy to cut anyone, I couldn't even see him wanting to cut himself...Eventually, Dani got bored of the party, so we decided to leave, and Justin and his friend Anthony walked us part way home. Justin took a leak on the side of the road and then started howling like a wolf...Then we parted ways, they went to their hotel, Dani and I went back to my Grandma's. And we both hoped we never saw any of those freaks again.

Then, we had to bring my dog to Thunder Bay to see the vet because he could no longer walk or control his bowels. The vet said he may recover, but because of his weight (SUPER huge), his age (14), the long trip back to Calgary and his history with this back problem, he most likely would never recover. So, we had to put him down. That was the worst day of my life and I can't think of one thing that could ever top it. We stayed in the room with him while they put him down. It was so hard to watch, but I couldn't just leave the room and let him be alone while they injected him. So the vet injected him with this blue stuff and right away he could taste it in his mouth. About 5 seconds later, he passed out, then about 5 seconds after that, he was gone. We stayed in the room with him for about 5 minutes and said our goodbyes. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. After that, we went to the Valhalla Inn and had lunch, then we brought my Uncle Pat to the airport so he could fly back to Vancover, then we went shopping. I got 2 shirts for $10.00. But that still didn't make me happy. Then, at the Body Shop, we saw a hermaphrodite! It was a man, trying to be a woman! He had a deep manly voice and spots of missed facial hair, but he was wearing girly clothes, painted pink finger nails, earrings, a girly necklace, and to top it all off....he was wearing a bra. Then we went to Superstore and got some groceries and headed back to Schreiber. When we got back, I just wanted to be alone, so I went for a walk. I went into the Voyageur (convenience store/restaurant/motel/gas station) and Christian happened to be working, so we talked for about an hour. He sympathized with my because his dog died 4 months ago.

Then, the next day, we ended up hanging out with Christian and his friend Will (Chilly Willy). We all went to Whitesand Beach, and guess who we saw there? Justin, loaded again. But this time, he was throwing beer bottles in the lake and in the trees. I felt like kicking the shit out of him. So fucking disrespectful. Christian even ended up stepping on a piece of broken glass bottle while we were out in the lake, but thankfully, he didn't cut himself. About 5 days before I moved out, I got laid off of work because of the store closing. I miss almost everyone there. Then, we had a staff party a week later and I got loaded. I could hardly walk, I was super happy too. And then Dan says (I don't really remember much) I got super horny in the car haha and managed to fall out of his car with my dress pulled up and my pantyhose pulled down to my knees and my ass sticking up in the air on the grass....So he dragged me inside and then I barfed lots and just before I passed out...I hear his dad laughing at me because I couldn't hold my alcohol haha. And that's about all I remember.

I have not yet found a new job, but right now, it feels good to do nothing, so I'm just taking it slow...which I probably shouldn't if I want to be able to afford the new cell phone I just bought. I got a new camera phone and it's the only phone in the world that has seperate letter keys. It has it's own individual letters and individual numbers. That's a lot of buttons. It's the LG6190 from Telus.

Then just on Sunday, my mom, sister and my cousin and I did a 6 km walk for Multiple Sclerosis. My cousin has MS, so we walked for her. Between the 4 of us, we raised about $445.00.

And now, to top all that off, I got a one week free subscription to DA. I was randomly chosen. Sweet haha.

Ok, so I got a 4.0 Mega Pixel digital camera!! Woot!

Dan bought me a ticket to Slipknot in January, and Van Helsing! I've been wanting both of those, for a long time haha. So thank you very much honey!!

I also got a long sweater jacket, a makeup case with 6 different eyeshadows, 2 blushes (which I don't use), 4 lipstick colours, and 2 coverups. My sister bought me the movie "The Princess Bride" and she gave me her "Evanescence" cd because I listen to it more than she does haha. I got a case for my digi cam. I also got chocolates, listerine pocket packs (I think someone is trying to tell me something haha jk), and Jasmine scented aromatherapy incence, and I have a stocking waiting for me at Dan's dad's house full of candy. And as a bonus, my mom finished the scarf she's been knitting for me this morning right after we opened gifts. It's black and dark burgandy strips about an inch and a half wide each. It's awesome. I'm sure you'll see it sometime in a picture haha. My sister got the "Call of Duty" X-Box game, so I'll be playing that every so often too. Yay!

This Christmas was definitly better than last year...last year I got my gifts from Dan and cards from everyone else haha.

On Sunday, we went up to Banff, which is a 20 minute drive from Canmore. We went to the Banff Springs Hotel. Oh my God…it is absolutely beautiful there. But of course, I had no film, so I couldn’t take any pictures. I kept bugging my mom to buy me film somewhere in the hotel, but she didn’t. So I was mad. After that, we went back to Canmore, and my mom and Uncle Pat dropped Dani and I off at the room, and went to Safeway. Mom bought me my film AFTER I needed it. So that only mad me more mad. But then she said that she’d take me back up tomorrow so I could take pictures and she’d just drop me and Dani off and leave us there for an hour. So that was good. We had really good chicken for dinner, it was pre-cooked and everything. Mmmm mmm good.

On Monday, we went back up to Banff, and went to the hotel again. When we got out, they had two guys come greet us, open and close the car doors for us. It was cool, being treated like a star haha. But then again, everyone gets that there. So Dani and I just wandered around the hotel taking pictures galore. I took almost a whole roll of film, so I hope they turn out really good (considering I have a crappy camera). After mom and Uncle Pat picked us up, we went to a restaurant called Magpie and Stump….what kind of name is that?! Oh well, it was good. I had queso sopa (cheese soup). Then we kinda wandered around the stores a bit, checking things out. It’s a very cute little town. I absolutely love it. It’s right between the mountains, so everywhere you look is a huge mountain, so I must have looked like a total tourist, (despite the fact that I’ve been there a million times) looking around constantly and taking pictures haha. Oh well. Then we went back home, had Chinese food for dinner, and then played a game called Scattergories. It’s pretty fun. Then Dani and I played poker.

On Tuesday, we didn’t really do much. We just packed up, sat around watching TV, and talked and stuff. Then we left, came back home, and went to Dani’s soccer game. They tied 1-1. I was so disappointed that Dan couldn’t come to Dani’s game with me because I haven’t seen him for 4 days, but he had to work. And now I’m all depressed and lonely feeling because when I don’t see Dan for more than 2 days, I go crazy. I just feel like breaking down and crying, even though I’m talking to him right now on MSN. Anyways, that was my weekend. Good day/night. And hopefully, I'll have the pics up ASAP.

Oh, I also forgot the fact that my Uncle Pat gave us Christmas gifts. I got a belt and Ramones belt buckle. I don't like the belt because it's plain white, but I like the buckle, so awesome. AAAND the most unfortunate thing happened to me on Tuesday...I was mistaken for Avril Lavigne by some girl who came by to exchange our dirty towels for clean ones. I was so upset, I felt like crying. If I liked Avril, I would have taken it as an awesome compliment, but because I wish she were dead, I now wish I were dead too.

At about 6:00 pm, Dan, Jon, and Travis, picked me up. We headed down to the Sun Center and we got there at about 6:15. At about 6:30, we went out and waited in line because we knew that if we waited any longer, the line would get super huge. After about 45 minutes, we finally got inside and got searched. Dan and Jon got searched loads because they’re both really tall guys with huge leather jackets on. But Travis, Jon and I all made it in…but unfortunately, Dan didn’t. He got kicked out. I called his cell twice, but he didn’t answer. Eventually, he called me and told me that he got kicked out because of his finger armour (supposedly you can slash someone's throat with them) and my camera in his pocket (despite the fact that EVERYONE else had one). So he was super pissed. He had to wait in line for another 2 hours just to get back in.

Himsa played 4 songs, which Dan missed all of them. They were pretty good. I wouldn’t mind having their CD. After one of their songs, someone shouted “YOU SUCK!!!!” and the lead singer asks the audience “Do you think we suck?” I heard mingled assents and declines, but I definitely declined. After Himsa, we waited for about half an hour for Arch Enemy to come on stage, which I didn’t mind, because Dan would have missed them completely too if they came on right away. During the wait, we met up with Kevin, Vlad, and AJ (who I don’t know too well).

Dan was standing right outside, waiting to get in when Arch Enemy first started to play, so he heard the whole thing, but didn’t see 2-3 minutes of the first song. When he got in, he was pretty mad at all of us….well, no, pissed at all of us because we didn’t go outside with him. But if we had, we wouldn’t have been let back in. So, he was mad at us for about 10 minutes, but once he got into the music, he stopped caring. Arch Enemy played 4 or 5 songs, I don’t remember which ones because I don’t know the names to any of their songs, but this is what Dan thinks it was: Tear Down the Walls, Ravenous, We Will Rise, Dead Eyes See No Future, and Saints and Sinners. It was awesome; so much head banging, hair flailing, screaming, amazing guitaring…and loudness. After they were done, we met up with Jared, Alan, Mel, Craig, Kevin, Vlad, and AJ. Alan completely ignored Dan and I because of something that happened between him and Dan at my birthday party 2 ½ months ago. But oh well, if he wants to be that way, that’s fine, I don’t care anymore. Mel and I even had some tongue action that I think only Dan saw haha. The wait was forever. I just wanted Cradle to come out NOW.

Finally, Bleeding Through came on and played a few songs. I wasn’t paying attention because they sucked. I mean, they were definitely better than Brittany Spears, but they sucked. I didn’t see it (I was no longer watching the stage, but the random people walking by because everyone was so unique and different looking), but everyone else did, but there was this guy running on top of people in the crowd! He was literally running on top of people’s heads and shoulders! And again, the wait…but this time, so much worse. The wait was horrible because we were waiting for CRADLE OF FILTH!!! But finally…they were on the stage like the gods that they are.

As far as Dan and I could remember…this was the set list: Satyriasis, Gilded Cunt, Nemesis, The Principle of Evil Made Flesh, Tortured Soul Asylum, Nymphetamine, Mannequin, Her Ghost in the Fog, Painting Flowers White Never Suited My Palette, Presents from the Poison-Hearted, Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids, From the Cradle to Enslave, and another instrumental. It was amazing. Jared, like the stupid kid that he is, thought Nemesis was Nymphetamine when it came on and I just had to think, YOU IDIOT!!! YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW THEIR NEW SONGS!!! But oh well. The lights were awesome. From purple to green to orange to strobe lights and then huge spotlights on the audience so the band could see us! It was awesome. And on the back wall, they had pictures of album covers and pictures from inside the albums and animated pictures on both the left and right sides. In the back, center stage, Sarah, Jezebel Diva stood with a spotlight on her whenever she sang. They were all in their black leather suits and suck. It was so hot.

At one point, Dani Filth said, “If any of you ladies can hit our keyboardist with your brazier, you can keep him, because we don’t want him!” it was hilarious! So now, I'm going to ACAD for night courses in January, and applying for jobs all over. I know I haven't done much, but he's being such an ass about it. I mean, we were going out for 7 months, friends for about 3 months before that, and friends for another 2-3 months after that. He goes and ruins a great friendship because he feels like being my mother. And this only started once I started going out with Dan. It's almost as if after I went out with John, he expected me to come running back to him, and when I didn't he gave up being nice, and just decided to be an ass. I can't believe he would do such a thing, after the stuff we've been through together, but I guess it just shows that you can never truly know a person until they do something like this...when they show their true colours...

Yesteryday, he moved from ICU (Intensive Care Unit) into a less monitored room with fewer nurses. The male nurse that he had during the day, didn't know anything. He left Dan in the bathroom pressing the nurse button for 15 minutes! And, the lady in the bed next to Dan was calling for a nurse for an hour and no one would come to help her (we thought her husband was with her so we didn't do anything and felt really guilty about it afterwards).

He was in lots of pain yesterday too, but when he took his Tylenol 3's, he wouldn't notice it as much.

This morning, when Dan's mom and I got to the hospital, he was being transfered to a semmi private room (him and one other patient). So it was a lot more comfortable for Dan, his mom and I because we had more room. Then, at around 2:30, his dad and brother came along to visit him. After about 15 minutes, his cousin came by, then 15 minutes after him, his grandma and uncle came by as well. So Dan had a nice crowd, which made him happy, but tired as well.

After everyone left, it was just me and his mom left and we stayed until about 10:45 pm. He really didn't want us to leave, but we need our sleep too haha.

So all in all, Dan is doing as great as he can be at this point, which is the biggest relief for everyone. And Dan says thank you to everyone who has wished him well and good luck, it brightens his day just that much more.

Dan's surgery was today, and it went perfect. Because he's so young, when he came out of the surgery, his temperature was above average, and there were no complications.

What they did was open up his chest, break his sternum and his ribs, remove his heart and put him on a mechanized heart, remove some exterior tissue surrounding the heart and attatch it to the hole in his heart so as to cover it up.

After the surgery, his mom, dad and I went in to see him, but he was still asleep from the anestetics, and wouldn't be concious for a few hours. So we came back to the hospital (after going to Tim Hourton's) and he was still under, so we visited him anyways (supposedly he could still hear us, he just couldn't wake up) and then Dan's mom dropped me off here at home. We are going to go back at around 6:00 or 6:30 possibly, or maybe around 8:00, depending on if he's awake or not.

So that's how Dan's surgery went and how he's doing. I gotta go now, I'm starving (I've been up since 5:15AM and only had a cinnamon bun and an Ice Cappucino).
