Yes, you've guessed right, I went to an orphanage.

Mom woke me up 8am today =_= 'cause some workers had to go into my room for some repairments and stuff, I went downstairs, had breakfast then sat with my mom in the living room, my sister soon joined us, waiting for a call from her classmates.

She was ready to go when it hit me, I should go with her! Her group is really friendly and wouldn't mind if I joined !
She agreed and I got ready super fast.

As the car headed to the orphanage, my sister and I started practicing a story we would soon be telling the kids since the story telling was the first thing we'll do when we get there.

We got there, entered and greeted everyone who kept telling my sis and me how different we look, got five kids, gave each a bracelet indicating which group they belonged to and started the tour with my sister's friend.



The gym had 5 stops, there was the "Cooking is FUN!!" station, and "Germs vs. Soap "," Face painting ", "ART" and "Let's Exercise" stop. The theater had the "Happy Clowns" stop . In each stop the kids would do some activities, get stickers on a card that is hung around their necks and win prizes.

The kids were very polite and cheerful, funny in their own way, or at least the kids in our group were. Some kids were really hyper-active and when we started playing after the tour was over, this activeness caused them to spray me with snow-foam and some other sprays I don't know where they got them from until I was completely covered and a kid called me a snow-man (should've been a snow-girl though ).

About 12 o'clock we got ready to leave when the group leader suddenly jumped and told everyone to stay and introduce themselves with their real names and on-line name (they were in the same medical forum)

I was setting by my sister when it was my turn..
I said: I'm not in your forum, nor in your collage and I've got no life so I crash my sisters activities
The leader of the fifth year said: what about your name ?<<< yes… one's name is a very crucial info..

The funny thing was that they thought I was in a "different" collage and asked who was older the look on their faces when I told them I was 17 & a High school junior was priceless I told them they could blame my sister for being so petit

The kids tried to make us stay, but we promised to come back some other time.

In the car we started talking about the kids.. the orphanage's financial side was above excellent, but the sad thing was the look in the kids' eyes..

They were really sad to part from us.. How can anyone abandon such pure creatures? More than 70% of the kids there didn't lose their parents in accidents or such, the idiots ABANDONED them.

Those parents were not human.. Someone who kills innocence in its most beautiful form cannot be human. Seeing the tears in my sister's eyes, I knew I had to drop the subject.

All I know is that everyone should do something, even if it was as little as visiting an orphan, I'm not telling you to take one in –which would be splendid- just make her/him feel as if you're a friend who sees them not through the eye of pity, but the eye of friendship.

Now I gotta reveal 6 things I hate about myself*hits self*

1-I'm a very lazy person when it comes to chores =_=.. I barely make my bed.

2-I never aim for the best of things, it started about 5 years ago. I became sorta content .. why is that bad? well, it stopped me from being the top of my class ever since (I still ace my subjects though ). I used to be like: study-study-study, now I'm more like study-fun-fun!

3-I'm a chicken. I could take on a number of risks bravely but when it comes to punishment I'd be hiding underneath my bed+_+

4-I'm materialistic, if you offer me a rose and a D.V.D., I'd take the DVD immediately

5-With friends.. I'm not a "die for a friend" kind of person.. I'm more like "you break it you fix it" person.. I'd help my friends of course! but I'd make sure they get a good lesson out of whatever mess they'd gotten themselves into. Sort of contradicts with No.3 I know

6-I talk too much@@.. I have a big mouth =3=;;which means many things slip off my tongue, I'm working on that though

Don't worry, I'm not about to tell you what each letter stands for,My 6 year old niece has got that covered. Instead, let's see what the whole word stands for, .



A friend is a person who listens & advises you...So does a shrink!



I think it's relative..



Some people consider their friend the person they hang out with most of the time. While others see him/her as the one who knows most of their secrets and vice-a-versa.

I believe a friend is someone who'd give away anything for you, and for no personal gain. There's a stanza in which I strongly believe and it's something along the lines of:



Your real friend is always with you…Harms himself to benefit you

And if the cruelty of time cracks you…Would disperse himself to collect you

Instead of looking for the meaning of the word Friend, let's figure it out our selves by being real friends.



Now, I'm not telling you to harm yourself for a friend, the poet was a wee bit extreme, I'm asking you to sort your priorities and push your friends up a little. Treat them the way you'd like them to treat you, an essential rule in Islam.



I don't know why exactly I am writing this. Probably because my sister praised the one who wrote the original entry and I wanted to get some praise as well, or just releasing some of the exams' stress by writing about something that has absolutely nothing to do with school nor comics regarding my school day-to-day life.
