I also have a new fat, black cat named Albert(Because "Albert" seems to be the most common name for fat, black people. And that's not racist, it's just observation). We also call him Big Al. He's sleeping under my electric blanket right now. There will be no pictures here on dA, but if you just HAVE to see him, I could set something up on Photobucket or Myspace.

The main reason I haven't been active here is, besides school, there's not much to do or gain. I rarely ever get any feedback on my submissions, and my favourite deviant got banned for being a nazi. Not that some of my classes aren't fun or interesting, or that I don't like my teachers. It just takes a lot out of a person, no matter how old they are. We also had parent/teacher conferences recently. One of my teachers told my dad that I'm one of the smartest students he's ever had. It's flattering, but that puts a lot of goddamn pressure on me! D: Because now if I do something stupid, which, me being a teenager is almost bound to happen, people are going to be even more disappointed with me.

But, yeah, that's why I haven't posted anything. I might add some stuff I did for my classes in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator later, though. Maybe even a poem I had to do for English. Apparently it was my teacher's favourite one or something

And not a synthesizer or any other electric instrument to found. I find that surprising when I look back at all the other bands I like. Even the only other band I know of that has any accoustic that I really like couples it with synths. Just trust me, this is an awsome band, check 'em out.

I'm actually WORKING on the strip. It may even take a few days, I'm not sure. All the work I'm doing currently is in an editing software that came with my scanner. When it's done, then all I have to do is figure out how to work my e-mail address, and send it in to maybe win me a punch in the head and a poster or a poster and some shirts. Or maybe I'll just win the mugging, or nothing. It's all a big gamble. That's the fun of it.

First of all, I have to say thank you to everyone that wished me a happy birthday about twelve days ago. Your undying LURV is noted.

I happen to have gotten a very special present for my birthday, one that I think even someone else who's probably reading this will appreciate. I now have my own scanner. Now I can upload stuff whenever the hell I feel like it and I don't have to give my art to someone else to scan, then have them give me their USB and all that crap. I can just scan it myself. I also got a digital camera, I just need some stuff so I can hook it up to my computer. Then I can upload a few of my paintings. And I'll probably upload a new picture right after I post this journal.

On a side note, for anyone who hasn't seen The Dark Knight, go watch that fucking movie right NOW! It's probably the best superhero movie EVER. I LOVED the Joker, and I found myself giggling insanely throughout a good portion of the movie(You should know what makes me giggle by now). I won't say to much, just go watch it. Nothing involving super heroes has ever been this awsome.

Some staff members were fired, they then proceded to try to take down the site, unfroze frozen accounts, froze users who tried to warn the ignorant, deleted news posts telling users to go to the new url and generally started to cause drama because their feelings were hurted.

Also try to avoid doing certain quests for a while; Some of them link to the .org site. So be sure to check the url before you click anything. And you'll either have to reset or remake your avatar depending on how many items you had on. I'd also advise a change in your password.

I've alerted some people of the matter personally, but this may actually get out to more people.

Aside from SxePhil on Youtube and certain Comedy Central shows, this is where I get my news. CNN, Fox and all those other tv news channels are owned by giant corporations, who are addicted to money and can easily be paid off by the far left or right to report whatver they want. FAIR is a media watchdog group, so basicly they tell people when a news story somewhere is full of bullshit or if an important news story is being neglected by mainstream news outlets because it has something to do with a US Marine raping a twelve year old girl in Japan(And him not even being given a slap on the wrist for the crime). SxePhil(AKA, Phillip DeFranco) is, as of right now, my favourite Youtuber. Since I fucking stopped watching tv except to watch dvds, good ol' Phil has had to stand in for The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, and although his videos are short, they're probably funnier than either one of those.

He makes a new video almost daily, which is even more awsome. But be warned, if you're offended by opinions that are valid and sensible, don't watch.

The main reason I first checked out his channel way back when was because his username had "SXE" in it and I'm straight edge. I couldn't help but be a little interested.

Lust For Blood was my first VAC album, so it has some sentimental value in that regard. It's also one of the few albums I ever bought where I hadn't heard any of the songs on it beforehand, but I had heard other music by VAC and figured it would pwn anyway, it did. The songs on this album range from melodic and beautiful to downright scary, with audible influences by everything from The Cure to Napalm Death. The vocals can also be relatively clear and easy to understand, which is nice, sometimes I can't understand a fucking thing Bryan is saying, even if I'm reading the lyrics along with the song, I can get lost because his voice effects can butcher the words. A perfect example of a song where this happens is "Serial Killer 101", a song off of "Between The Eyes: Vol. 2"(AKA, "Fate"), where, for the most part, the only words I can understand are "shut the fuck up, I said!"(It's an awsome song anyway). But you'll still ocasionally be running to the lyric sheet to help you understand what he's screaming about. The songs also come across as sounding almost like some post-apocolyptic radio broadcast, at least the songs that have vocals do, the more trancy songs just come across as being extremely pretty. Now let's get to reviewing the songs one-by-one, like I did the last time.

The cover art: There's not much I can say about the cover art except that it's absolutely beautiful and coveys the feeling of the music very well. Of course, all the art was done by Christen Kojnok(Her dA username is Axentric). I'd say it deserves a solid 9/10.

Track 1; Wound: Probably not one of the better songs on the album, but the best one to start the album out with. It's just one of those songs that seems like a good opening theme for a beautiful monster like this, you know? This song does have some of the harder to understand vocals, but is not unenjoyable. I'd give it a 6/10.

Track 2; Parasite: Also kind of hard to hear the vocals(But not as bad as the first song), but it has a nice beat to it and a pretty piano riff about halfway through. Some parts are also very strange, it's hard to really describe it. Probably a 7/10 for this song.

Track 3; Discolored Eys: I can understand about 75% of the vocals in this one, they're getting better with each song, it seems. This is probably one of my favourites on this album, it's very angry, and almost hopeless. Mostly synth stuff, but it ends with some beautiful accoustic guitar that precedes the next song. I also love the whining, pulsing strings all the way through. This song gets a 9/10.

Track 4; Crushed: It starts out with some of the most beautiful accoustic guitar playing I've ever heard. There's no band that can pull off accoustic for me except VAC. I can also understand most of the vocals in this song, definitely a plus. When I first heard this song, I really didn't like it, and shoved it aside as my least favourite song on the album, but now I love it and appreciate it for the lovely, melodic piece of art it is. It is in fact one of the best songs on this cd, just not very catchy it seems. It gets a 9/10.

Track 5; Disconnected Nightmare: Probably one of the more dancable songs on this album, and I can understand pretty much all of the vocals. It also ends with a sample of some creepy rapist laughter and the sound of creaking metal. 'Cause I have to give one of these a ten, 10/10.

Track 6; Polyester Meth Zeus: I'm not sure what to say about this one, it's very weird. I can't hear most of the vocals, but it's a good song. It fades right into the nest song at the end. It should be worth an 8/10.

Track 7; Kashmir Crack Krishna: This probably the closest thing to "Speedball OD"(From "Fun with Knives") on here, it ends with Bryan screaming something about slashing guts(The end makes me laugh), and you can pretty much understand what he's saying up until that point. This song also gets an 8/10.

Track 8; Ghost In The Circuit: No vocals, this is a very beautiful song, almost trance-like. It's something you could easily listen to on acid and probably have a good trip. 7/10.

Track 9; Machine: The vocals and lyrics on this song were actually done by a guy named Todd Loomis, who is now officially a member of VAC. Hopefully it'll stay that way, VAC deserves a stable line-up, and this is a pretty good song, I want to see what else Todd can do. I'll give it an 8/10.

Track 10; Lust: This song really plays up the whole "post-apocolyptic radio broadcast" thing I mentioned above, Bryan's voice comes in and out with walky-talky type static. I also like the samples, especially at the end, heh. 10/10.

It's something called the "Youth Employment in the Arts", or in other words, the "Let Asspie Teenagers With No Talent Paint Trashcans Program". It pays $6.10 and hour, so I'll probably be saving up for my own SCANNER. Yes, Ashley, I'm gonna save up for my OWN scanner, don't spazz out or have a heart attack, plz.

In a small apartment, the type some deadbeat with no job might live in, a skinny anthropomorphic critter walks into his kitchen, to get himself a salad. He opens the bag of salad, and imediately vomits, the salad has been rotting in the fridge for about a month, and it stinks. He looks down at the vomit, and sees a little worm thing that looks kinda like a flattened penis. It raises its head at him and says: "Thanks for not eating that! I would have DIED."

Our critter: "......."

The worm: "Oh, sorry, my name's Wormy, I live in your colon! ^_^"\

Our critter takes out a gun, shoots the worm in an explosion of blood and says: "I hate that guy"

The first thing you see is a portrait of a black Jesus, kinda hard to not laugh, unless you head is to far up your ass for you to even see the packaging. You open the case... And there's nothing on the disk, it's black. BORING. I was a bit dissapointed by the generic-ness. You take the disk out, behind it is an x-ray of someone's hand flipping the bird, both unique AND funny. I say, the packaging and cover art gets a... 7/10? Kthnx.

Now let's get to the main attraction, the songs:
Track 1; Shut Me Up: This is the first MSI song I ever had the misfortune to listen to, because Jhonen Vasquez, the inspiration for all my detestable little fetus things, directed the music video for this song. Babies enter torsoes, people asploded, dream sequences were entered; [link] Don't know how to put it into words, but I'll just give this track a 9/10, at least it's not the shitty Combichrist remix.

Track 2; Stupid MF: This song makes me laugh, at myself mostly, and your face. I give this song an 8/10, 'cause I felt like it.

Track 3; Straight To Video: This is how your daddy feels about your mommy, that's why he has to take his little blue pills; [link] Another 8/10, I'd say. Extra blowjobs for everybody!

Track 4; What Do They Know?: Atari rape! Srsly, can't spell "rape" without "rap", can you bitch? ^_^ I give it a 7/10. Whoop-dee-doo-doo.

Track 5; 2 Hookers & An Eightball: HA! Prostitutes are funny, but the song could sound better; [link] I give it a 6/10. I dig the mocking of rap music that happens in this song though.

Track 6; Prom: Ehh, could be better, listen fer yourself; [link] Nothin' special, 5/10 material at best. Fookin' nerds...

Track 7; Bullshit: Little Miss Piss, is that what Urine's new wife is called? *Cough* >.> Who said that?! [link] 8/10, fer sher, dwdz.

The extras: I happen to have gotten avery special version of this album, four extra tracks(Mic Commander, La-Di Da-Di, Make Me Cum and Wack) as well as a music video for the song "Molly". I feel effectively superior to all those who don't have these. I give all the extras a 9/10.

Conclusion: This disgusting little Hottopic purchase gets an 8.5/10 all together. You just wasted who the fuck knows how many minutes of your life reading my ramblings here, SHOO.

Who doesn't love a cute little black dragon? I ask you.

Most would think graffiti a crime, I consider it art, as long as the right amout of effort is put into it. This person puts the right ammount of effort into it ^_^

Weird, creepy, fun to look at, certainly unique. I just love this artists style.
