The Story..

I know none of you even read this, but I just found out that my momÊ»s best friend, Aunty Angie just passed away today.. When I seen my mom break down crying like that, I didnt know what to do.. It hit me hard in the stomach that something really bad must have happened and i thought, "oh no..."
My Aunty lived in Las Vegas. But for along time now shes been suffering from diabetes, and she lost a leg, couldnt see thru one eye and the other eye was like looking thru a straw, she had really really bad diabetes and was on oxygen too.. But my moms been planning for a while now to go up and see her really good friend. She was suppose to go last year around christmas time, but didnt, cuz she wanted her family to have a good christmas. And we did. I knew exactly how hard that decision was to make for my mom. And i thank her and appreciate her deeply. And this year she was surely going to go. Planning that when we go to Disney Land, we could take a drive and go see Aunty Angie.. But that never happened...
I feel horrible and miserable for my mom. Cuz she didnt get to carry out her promise to my aunty: that she would come and visit her before she leaves us on this earth.. Fuck man.. Im crying really hard right now and it hurts soo much... Im thinking of how my mom feels, how she wishes she could turn time around and get to see her friend one last time.. How i bet she regrets staying home last christmas for us.. But i know my mom.. she knows that was her decision then, and she is happy that we were happy.. Yet she wishes she could see her friend..
I mean, that was her BEST friend. If it wasnt for aunty angie, I wouldnt be here right now man!!! If it wasnt for aunty angie, my mom and dad would have NEVER met!!! My mom and aunty went thru alot together in their lives... I just wish i could change time, so that mom would have been able to see her sooner.. Fuck man...
Im thinking of my cousins, auntys kids.. Gaahhhh!!! Their mom is gone... I dont even know if theyre dad is still alive or what! *turns her face down and cries harder and harder into her shivering palms* I remember the day when my dad passed away.. I still will never forget that day.. how i felt.. how devistated i was.. When i look back at my childhood when my father was alive, it seems like a dream.. like its happened soooo long ago.. Level 5-River of Styx: Angry Punished

The river Styx runs through this level of Hell, and in it are punished the wrathful and the gloomy. The former are forever lashing out at each other in anger, furious and naked, tearing each other piecemeal with their teeth. The latter are gurgling in the black mud, slothful and sullen, withdrawn from the world. Level 6 - The City of Dis:

This metaphor basically means that if you talk stink about your family, they wont come to your rescue and take your iwi, they'll just leave it out in the sun to let it bleach and forget you there for the buzzards. Its very disrespectful and a shameful thing to talk down of your own blood. In Hawaiian culture the bones are sacred and the source of your mana. So it would be bad if they are left in the sun, showing that you have no respect, they don't care for you. And is why puhi I ka iwi, burning of the bones, is bad as well.
Many people think that cremation is a Hawaiian tradition. No, it is not. That is actually a Chinese tradition. There were so much deaths at one time and not enough space in the cemeteries, thus they would burn the body and bury the ashes, or scatter it in the sea. As in Hawaiian culture, it is a thing of showing voluminous amounts of disrespect and, I cant find a strong enough word to express how bad it is. Instead, the Hawaiians would take the body of the deceased, strip the meat from the iwi, and bury their iwi in the earth, usually wrapped in something or placed in a woven basket.
My point of posting this is that, for me, this was an eye opener. I have no right to be talking bad about my own family because in the end, they all I have. Like the saying goes, "Friends come and go, but at the end of the day, all you have is your family". My 'ohana is my foundation, my base, my firm grounds. I need them to be able to stand and to climb, and to strive for the summit of success. Without them, I would surely fall. Everyone needs something, someone, wether it be family, religion, a vehement belief of something better, of something more, to hold them up and for them keep going..

Updates:
I am currently attending Kamehameha High School, Kapalama campus as a Freshman, class of 2013! Yeeah babeh! lol.. So far into the year, things been going alright I guess but you know, still trying to get use to the very LARGE campus. Its like a frickin' work out every day, trying to get from 3rd period Hawaiian Culture to 4th period Drama, which is all the way up the fuckin mountain on upper campus, then back down to PE or study hall for 5th! XP

Im learnin alot about my ancestors and about my Hawaiian genealogy and about the history of my people much more than the info given back then in my public schools that I went to. Its like, so empowering to know that i am part of this great, yet oh-so rare breed.

Background: Keaolani Bogac dosent remeber much of her childhood, for she had been deprived of it when she was just a young pup. She was forced to do things with the older men of her pack, physically abused for no reason, and occasionally abanndoned from time to time for fun. Keaolanis parents dispised her, for she wasnt pure bred like they were, and because she held the dark moon marking which represtented unholyness, and a believed sign of the devil and that he has possed the body of such ones that had the marking. She became mute for years, scared to speak and not wanting to talk to anyone about anything; eventually causing her to run away from the pack and leave her old life behind...

Kea was alone during most of her adolesent years, tring to survive and fend for herself. during this time, Kea had fully recovered from the physical scares, except for the deep cut under her right eye, which she wishes to be unknown to how she got it and why. But the mental and emotional scares were still there, and were driving her to the point of insanity. Keaolani had tried numerous times to kill herself, but was unsuccessful. She drivin herself into deep depression, untill one day she was rescued from herself by a person that later on became one of her lovers. Now, Keaolani has 3 pups; Sunset, Shadow, and Baby Cherry. tho she has occaional agression problems, she tries to conseal the demon within and to control her sponanious outbursts. but her life keeps changing.. sometimes for the better... and for the worst........
