I liked it and I didn't like it. Both the movie AND the book. I wish that Stephenie Meyer didn't make Bella so helpless and INSANEly in love with Edward in like, two seconds. There was no building of the relationship, really, and you turn the page and they suddenly love each other and are soulmates.

It's kind of sad, in a way.

Other than that, I liked it.

It comes out on DVD on Saturday and we're open until 1am on Friday for the release. So many tweens are going to be there. It's going to be chaotic.

Stephenie Meyer needs to give Bella a mind of her own.

I can't believe it. Ever since my 3 (yes, three) overdrawn charges to my checking account (I need to start worshiping a little thing called a CHECKBOOK) I have been out of money.

I paid the fees, each one adding up to $27 a pop. And now I'm scrounging for money just to have fun, let alone live.

Sure, I still live with my parents, but my dad got a $200 speeding ticket and they aren't really high rollers to begin with. So really, they do provide me with shelter and (mediocre) food, but when it comes to parking and gas money and my never-ending spending on food that I DON'T need, I'm really on my own.

I need to stop spending the money I don't have. Isn't that the most popular issue for everyone in America? Spending money you don't have? Yes. Yes it is.

I work, but now my paychecks are barely lasting a week because I either have to spend $60 on gas, or buy too much take-out food than I need.

On top of that, I'd like to get a tattoo sometime in my lifetime (nothing major, it's not gonna be an eyesore), and I REALLY REALLY want a car that I've had my eye on for a while.

I don't want to get rid of my car right now, I want to add to my collection of Eagles. My car is an Eagle. An Eagle wagon. There is an Eagle Kammback that is in the state of Oregon that I desperately want. It's essentially an Eagle car with a Gremlin back. It's hilariously amazing. We have NO room on our lot, but I swear, even if I have to park it up on my back porch, I desperately want that car.


Then again, it's not an essential need to live, but a dream I would like to keep dreaming about.





Anyway. So yeah. I have to stop spending money and start working more without killing myself in the process. Damn I wish we got paid commission. For all the dogs I sell, I'd be rolling in the dough. And dough is money. Fluffy, yeasty, pizza-ready money.

Mmm.











In other news, my dad and I are going up to the mountains tomorrow in search of snow. Amazingly, it's been snowing all weekend here, in March, in Oregon, in the Valley, which is beyond bizarre, but we want the real stuff. The stuff that's packed onto the ground and stuff you can actually mold and throw at people. Yes, it's our destination. And it will happen.

We're going in my car in search of other Eagles. My dad and I have this weird obsession in which we try to document as many Eagles as we can by taking pictures of them. They are rare, so it's always very exciting. Sadly exciting, you might say.











But yes. That's about it for tonight. I'm tired, and we're leaving early tomorrow, so I have to set my alarm to get a shower in without feeling grungy all day.

I come home today, and my mother calls me into the living room. "Rags is peeing all over the house, I think you should think about it being about time." Time, of course, means putting my beloved special(needs) cat to sleep. Just because she loses the litter box! I shriek at her, "NO! She's too young to die!" (In reality, Rags, whom I suppose I should point out is my cat, is probably twenty plus years old. We can't tell, because she doesn't have any teeth, so the doctor couldn't give us an estimate)

"Just think about it, seriously think about it," my mom said.

HA. No.

I called her out saying she wanted to kill her off, but my mom shouted "No! It's not like I'm going to murder her! I just want to help her off to Heaven!" Which was funny, because I've never heard that one before.




I guess I was already a tad bitter about the whole ordeal because when I told my mom I was bringing home another cat (a mother cat who has a litter of kittens at work) she flat out said no.

I love cats. My mom doesn't. However, she only doesn't want another cat because she thinks the new one (which I am going to fight for tooth and nail) will pee everywhere Rags has peed. Ridiculous.





So. Yeah. That's pretty much it...but still, it's drama. It's drama. It's "OMG" drama.




















Yeah. I requested the weekend off of work so I hope that follows through. My dad doesn't have to work Sunday so we want to go up to the mountain to see the snow. And since I had to work both days last week (Ahem, Easter Sunday) I think I deserve a weekend off.

So yeah. Let's cross our fingers for that.

However, the store was chaotic as usual and we were left scurrying around like the wild workers we are to get everyone taken care of and assist the freaks that come in.

So we had a group of drunks come in, sticking their hands in the fish tank that the giant cichlid occupies (who is NOT nice, by the way). Luckily they didn't get bit, because then we would have trouble.

Jordan, a guy who works at the other pet store came to work with us today which made a total of three red-haired beauties working. We're taking over the world, watch out.

He's super nice and kind of cute, and it was fun working with people who don't cause a shit load of drama.

It's my spring break though, and I have to work Monday, Thursday, and Friday. All the 4-8 shift. Which sucks, because that's a guarantee that I'll be doing dogs by myself each time. And it's such a LOVELY job. *scowls*

I actually got tipped today from a lady I set up a bunny cage for. Her entire change back, which was 5 bucks. I was like "what?" when she tried to give it to me, and I thought I was going to get in trouble for finally accepting it (some businesses don't allow tips to be accepted) but turns out Rachel was like "keep it!" so yeah. That was nice.

It's going to be nice not having to go to school for a week, even if I do have to work. At least I can sleep in until the very last minute I do have to work. Heheheheheheheh.


But yeah. That's pretty much my update. Came home and had a tad of ham that I found gross, but I'm not hungry anyway, so it's not such a loss.

I'm in my pajamas and I plan on LOUNGING the rest of the night. Wee!

But I also got back with a horrible case of the flu. Hacking and coughing and feverish on the plane ride home.

First I thought I had lost my voice from going on all the rides and screaming my brains out. Yes, I went on rides. Me. Rides! I KNOW!

BUT the raspy voice turned into something more, and I haven't been at school all week because of it.



Talk about a shitty comeback. I haven't even been able to tell people about my glorious trip.

I rarely spend any time on the Internet, and when I am, it's always a quick check of DA, my email, and Facebook. Then I'm usually on Wikipedia learning about God knows what I want to learn about. Usually diseases or Nazis.

Ha.

Anyway, I went back to school on Tuesday after having a whole month off--that felt amazing, I might add. It was hard getting back, but after the first couple days I'm glad to be back. It's not like when I was in high school and was like "what the fuck am I doing here" type of thing. I actually enjoy school.

So...news.

Not really anything "new" other than the fact that I learn something about my life with each day.


I'm making more decisions in my life completely on my own, rather than thinking of what my parents would say or what others would think. I love my family to death, but sometimes I get frustrated with the way I was raised. I was raised to be a perfect child and never do wrong or venture into particular things, and I've actually taken myself out of that realm a few times to help myself discover.

Kind of nice.

I don't want to be the kind of person that doesn't do things because my mother won't approve. I'm sick of being guilty over things that are small and part of life.


I have two new classes this term. 3-D and 2-D. I no longer have my digital computer class or Time Arts (essentially exploring performing arts). I'm happy with my 3-D class even though I'm not a big "hey, let's build something in three dimensions," but it's interesting. I sort of feel like it's easy work so far--I grew up around my dad who was fixing things and working on things and sawing and hammering all the time. But who knows what else we'll do.

My 2-D class involves a lot of photography, and we're actually going to be learning how to develop our own film, something I've always wanted to do. I'm looking forward to it, but the teacher isn't someone I see myself absolutely loving or becoming buddies with. She's a little too "angry lesbian" to me. Not that I'm against homosexuals, but her butchness is a little too cliche to me. I don't know. I find it annoying.


Anyway, I better get back to eating my food and watching Family Guy.


I'll try to keep you updated. For my sake.
