Among the many things she collected over the years, one of her biggest collections (next to her frogs and her nuns) was her recipes handed that she would get from friends, family and what not.

Well, a few years before her death my grandmother came up with an idea for a family cookbook. So she sent letters all across the US and some out of the country to the entire family, asking everyone to share their recipes for this cookbook...and everyone replied in full force with recipes for brinks, salads, entrees, meats, meals, snacks, deserts and more.

It took some time, but we had finally but the book together the way it was meant to be.

Ashes to Ashes is about a girl named Rose who moves to the semi secluded town of Domestique. In the the past, the town was terrorized by a serial killer known as the Red Rose Killer. When he died in a gun fight with the police, everyone thought that the nightmare was over. Fast forward to modern times and people are still disappearing while the killer has been replaced by demonic dogs called Ash Hounds. As Rose learns more about the killer and his past, she finds herself coming face to face to the true monster that he has become in the afterlife.

After years of trying to get published on my own, I'm going to forge on all by myself in the ever so fun world of self publishing and so far I'm exclusively with Lulu.com which allows me to offer my stories in both print AND download ^_^

BUT I'm currently on the lookout for someone who help me produce my stories in print format cheaper than Lulu. Don't get me wrong, I love Lulu and the material they use and stuff, I just feel that my customers shouldn't have to pay exorbitant prices just for 6 x 9 that's so thin you can't even read the spine *le sigh* If this search pans out, I will let everyone know

The first version of my story Lady Cy has been published on Lulu!!!!

I'm currently working on a second extended version that will be published in a series of books with art for the covers, chapter and characters all done by myself.

Volume 1 (Hero) has been typed, proofed and formated to the specifications of the Lulu website. I'm currently in the process of working on the cover art and the first of several character sketches ^_^

She got gout last month or so, but she beat it. So the doctor scheduled in home therapy. BUT! Nurse Kathy that everyone ":loves" decided it was best for her to have hospital therapy so she called 911 and had Nana transfered to the hospital.

Nana was doing well in therapy then they found an Incarcerated hernia, which means her inners shifted from all the time she spent in bed. The doctors were worried about how anesthesia might affect her so they went with the non-direct route. When they felt that it was corrected, she was transfered to an live in therapy center (which was the same place Dana's Mema and Nora went to and died).

I don't know how well she was doing there, but they found that she wasn't breathing with her full lung capacity. So, they wanted to put her on an oxygen treatment with a special mask to force all the CO2 out of the lower half of her lungs. Well, Nana didn't want to said mask because it covered most of her face, it velcroed down onto her head, which triggered her claustrophobia.

They decided to use the smaller mask with the elastic cord, after Marty showed her that she could take it off when it began to bother her. It seemed to be working. But Dad called this morning to say that the treatment wasn't working and it was decided to take her off the treatment and make her comfortable. Half an hour after the decision was made she passed on and five/ten minutes after the first call, Dad called me back to let me know.

Nana not only turned out to be an organ donor, but she also offered to donate her body to OU sciences.

So far, viewing plans are for Wednesday at Primrose and the funeral is going to be next Thursday.
Nana has plans to be buried next to Grampy at the cemetery outside of town. The head plaque is already made up with both their information, it just needs her death date. I think the armed forces will be taking care of this since they're the ones who provided it for their graves. Other than that, Grampy made sure everything else was taken care of...

I've been working on my first real novel in the past couple of motnhs. With the way things are turning out, I'm going to break it down into a series and then put all the chapters together in a delux edition.

The story is about a girl named Andrea who lives in the year 2040. For some time now, humanity has been evolving and colonizing most of the solar system. But underneath all the success and accomplishments, a secret war has been raging between two groups.

Andrea is pulled into this war one day when her star colony is attacked and raided. Taken to a secret lab, Andrea escapes not knowing she's been experimented on and changed. One year later, Andrea is finally tracked down and approached by a party from each side of the war. Ravana from Phoenix and Dragonus from Red Droid, the group that raided her colony.

Andrea decides to side with Phoenix and is paired up with Ravana for one simple missions. Shut down the labs and stop innocent people from turning into a type of cyborg known as the Cy. People with nanoids injected in their systems to not only enhance their natural abilities but bring out their latent ones as well.

Along the way, she is joined by some old friends and faces off against four new enemies, who's mission is to bring her back to their leader, the Red King, in one piece.

I've FINALLY published my first book! Lady Cy 1.0. It's a sci-fi adventure story where this guy Laos is in charge of a secret organization that's running around kidnapping people and taking them to labs to be turned into Cyborgs to help him "change the world". But, one of these people. a girl named Catherine, escapes and joins with another secret organization to stop Laos.

Also, I finally have my little Aragorn. Anya, Kristy and Carol Ann came down last week and brought him. He's all grey and has stripes and bright yellow eyes just like his brother and he hasn't been fixed yet and he's small! Uly's been fixed and he's twice the size of Aragorn *laughs* Well, there goes the theory that fixed cats don't grow that big *sighs*

Aragorn has slowly come out of his shell since he first arrived and gets along swimingly with Uly. The two like to run around the apartment like little elephants and rub up against each other and stuff ^_^

My second night in my new apartment and I get molested by a ghost in my own bed. I've been laying in bed for god knows long before my sister goes to sleep, i turn over on my right side and next thing i know, i feel someone get in bed with me, put one hand on my left and and the other is manhandeling my butt. i'm laying there mentally screaming for a minuet before i finally shake myself out of it to shout and sit up only to find that i'm alone in bed and my sister slept through the whole thing *groans*

Nikki was put down today at five minutes before noon.

Ever since last week, Nikki's health had been going down hill. He'd gradually stop eatting, barely drinking anything, refusing to eat any of his treats and start sleeping in hidden places like underneath the dinning table one time. Last Saturday, Nana put him outside for awhile to find that he couldn't get back up the ramp. She called a neighbor over and the poor little dog was brought into the house and rested in Nana's arms for the rest of the time Marty and I were gone. Marty called the vet's calling service but never got a call back.

After a little research, Marty started putting a couple drops of collital silver in his water and switched his senior dog food for cat food. The medicine in the water helped to improve his disposition enough to eat some of the cat food. For a couple days, it seemed as if he was getting better. He was regaing enough of his strength to stand shakily and take a couple steps before flopping back down. He was also getting vocal again, yipping to let us know he wanted out or was annoyed with the fact that he couldn't move around like he wanted to.

But, he beginning to snub the cat food and when Dana and I tried to give him one of his favorite chocolate pills for his arthritis...he snubbed it. Nikki also hated when ever we tried to give him any sort of hair cut, but when he was laying on the floor I went after some of the mats on his face...and he didn't protest.

I woke up about 4 this morning to him crying, I took him outside and sat on the ramp and watched him as he stood for a moment, took a couple shaky steps and then went down onto the ground and laid quietly on his stomach. I let him lay there for a while before bringing him back inside and giving him a little water.

In the morning, I put him back out and let him layout for awhile and when I brought him back in he didn't want any food or water. Nana made an 11am apointment with the vets, Dad and I took him in, told the vet everything that's been going on. The doctor and the assitant looked him over, we talked things over and decided to peacfully put him down. Dad and I stayed in the room for the first shot, the doctor took him the back for the second shot, they gave us Nikki back wrapped up and in a box. We took him home, said our final goodbyes and layed him to rest in his towel and favorite blanket.

Nana got Nikki back in 1995, he was five years old at the time and he was 21 years old. He's lived a good long life, loved by everyone in our family and possibly the most travled pet in the family as he went on every road trip with Nana and he even had his own travle bag.

Haven't been around on DA recently cuz I quit my job at Sonic the same day I was hired at Arby's *throws confetti* I make $6.50 an hour, get more hours, I'm able to bond with my co-workers and I don't have to run around all over the place to do my job *happy sigh*

I've been working on a novelizationof my Choas Faeries in my spare time. Stopped that for a while when I got an Bankai Ichigo Bear comission. I'm working on an AIW doujinshi I hope to submit to Radio Comix in the near future. It's only four pages long so they might like it ^_^

I submitted Chaos Faearies to Antartic Press but I don't have any high hopes of hearing from them soon. So i'm going to rework it a little and submit Chaos Faeries Petit to TokoyoPop.

Speaking of TP, I submitted my novel Lady Cy to them like one or two years ago (back when they annoucned they were going to print novel novels) and I FINALLY got a letter back from them yesterday only to find that my book didn't fit in with their schedule...so I shreded the letter with my dad's shredder and I felt much better ^_^

I notice some movement to my left...an arm...and I turn to see the Mad Hatter himself sitting there, talking and waving around something in his hand. A tea cup or tea pot...one or the other. I just sit there and look at him...possibly starring cuz he looks right at me and the dreams ends pretty much there.

I'm just glad I didn't pull a Tygra *groans*
Ok, you know how when you get into a show or back into a show, it's basically the only thing on your mind. Well, I got back into Thundercats a couple years ago so (of course) I'm having all they weird ass Thundercats dreams.

Like the one where I'm in my grandmother's basement with someone and I see two of the Luntacs. We're hiding but we're spotted all the same and we're cornered. I turn back to my friend...and they've either turned into or been replaced by a 6ft tall package of Nutter Buddies (cripsy waffers layers with peanutbutter coated in chocolate). Needlesss to say, the Lunatacs had these WTF?! looks on their faces and I was able to escape to upstairs.

Any who!

I'm having a very odd dream sequence with antelopes or deer when I realize that I'm dreaming. Instantly, everything comes to a stop and I'm all alone in this room with no exits at this long table set up for tea. I look around and think something to the srot that it be great if Tygra was there...

The moment I finish my thought, Tygra either appears or falls (or both) into the chair across from me. As he's looking around all dazed and confussed, I gasp and just squeal his name. Tygra then jumps like I just screamed at him and as he turns towards me he vanishes. The moment this happens, I slump/slouch in my seat and say "awwwwww."

Needless to say, I haven't squealed anybody's name in my dreams ever again.

Tina stayed the night the last friday of July and Dad took us to the local station after stopping at Homeland to let us get some drinks. We made it to the station a couple minutes before it opened and the nice lady let us in, told us what to do and answered all our questions. The train arrived and we sat on the far side so we could get a could view of the Arbuckles as we went by and we did *grins* The ride was very smooth in my opinion, of course there was rocking and swaying (which made chaning cars to get to the snack booth really fun*

Arrived at Fort Worth an hour later.
Took a bus over to the stock yards (where the website said out hotel was) only to find out we needed to take a different bus.
Tok the 14 over close to where we needed to be, but on the wrong side of a busy bridge.
Stopped at Classic Inn to ask for directions, ended up calling a cab and waiting in a smelly lobby.
When the cab arrived, told him where we wanted to go and he took us down onto the interstate.

Later, we not only found out that the hotel was not on any bus route, but at least a mile away from the 14 route! On Saturday, we walked all the way down to the "nearest" Walmart to get Tina some shoes for the weekend. The lady at the front desk pointed us in one direction and said "5 min drive"...when we had no car *scowls* So we walk all the way up there and back only to have one person pull over and offer us a ride to the Walmart that turned out to be two towns away! TWO towns! After that long walk, we stopped at a Waffle House for lunch and the waitress pointed us in the direction of the road for the nearest bus route. We didn't realize how far away this was untill we had to come to a stop at a gas station and call a cab to take us to downtown. Once there, we walked around and did our first sight seeing of the trip.

There was this festival going on and I got to enter the Oscar Mayer jiggle contest. I tried to sing the Weiner song but I think I might have messed it up *grumbles* The only book store we were able to find was a rather neat looking Barnes and Nobel with a really crappy manga selection. Still, I was able to get Death Note volume 3 and read Death Note Volume 4 on our last day there.

After chilling at the book shop's cafe and looking through the phone book for a couple places to go to, we left the store and started to walk around again, window shopping this time. We didn't find any other book stores or comic shops, but we did find the Library. It's two stories with a ground level and a basment. Ground level is front offices with display racks for books they're pushing and a art room with a piano (that you can't play *pouts*) the basment level is the actual library itself with all the books and computers. Afterwards, we caught the bus back to the ITC and hitched the 14 back to our hotel. We were let off at the nearest stop and walked down the service road only to find out just how far our hotel WAS from the bus route.

Another thing though, in all our walking around. Only 1 person actually stopped to give us a ride and 1 offered to help gets us a ride (but his accent was thick and we couldn't understand him). Any other time, we'd have to flag down a cab while other people would drive past us as they sometimes honked at us or whistled *scowls*

Sunday we walked down to the Coors distrobution place just down the street form our hotel only to find that the gift shop was closed. On the way back to the Shell station, we were able to down a cab and got a ride down to the Stockyards. There we walked through a hall of fame/wagon museum, got gifts, window shopped, peered down on a maze and tried Dr Pepper Jerky (not very good, kinda moist and faint taste of Dr Pepper)

OH! We saw the Weiner Mobel a total of 4 times on our trip! Once on Friday during our first walking attempt to Walmart, twice on Saturday and again on Sunday!

The one good thing about our hotel is that it had free breakfast, so we took full advantage of that...which, probably explains why we didn't eat a lot of the breakfast bars (got food for the trip). One of the best things was that they had cups with batter in it and a special easy bake griddle so you could make waffles the sahpe of Texas, which really helped up take out a lot of our frustrations on the city *evil grin*

Monday, got up early for breakfast. Walked down to the Coors place and found that the only interesting things we wanted were the bi-planes made out of beer cans! And they weren't even in the gift shop! fianlly, they were out of the field and landed on a planet only to crash into a house under construction then slide down the front drive way itno traffic. i'm now inside and in the passgenger set next to the driver, i hang out the window to call out sorry, but i'm so high up i can't tell if they hear me or not

next thing i know, the elder woman is coming up and there's a kid on the floorboard in front of me, sitting with some teddy bears. i grab what looks like a cheap funshine and hold it close, trying to hide. the elder lady tells the kid to leave and when she gets inside, she starts making an herbal drink. i'm surprised to see she's versed in the old ways, she looks up when I say this and then i notice something about the bear i'm holding. it's changed to a brown bear in a red coat with some saw dust on it. it turns out to be a paddington bear

"we're on earth" i say and press my hand to the window
"earth"
"yes, the lost planet"
next thing i know, we're trveling down the road and I begin poitn out stores such as the seven-eleven and realise we're in norman when i see a bunch of guys in white suits
i tell the guy not to stop because of this and i just keep giving him the tour

i'm so excited about this that i have to stop and correct myself about things, but when I get to the point to tell him that the church yard is ahunted, we stop

the sceen then changes to where i'm walking through this cement corridor with two guys, one's a werewolf and i think that the other's a vamp. the wolf was pushing around this broken shopping cart and carrying a club opver his shoulder. he stopped and handed me the club as he had to go to the bathroom. i accepted the club and threw it over my shoulder and followed him inside. we almost went a little too far but thankfully a guy came out and we found it

once inside, he changes to a normal guy (really fat) and goes as I hang out buy a mirror, seeing that my hair is blonde, slicked back and I'm wearing a red top and looks like leather. i'm telling him that the ghosts bothers me and that i used to be afraid of weres but before that i was afraid of vamps, then i "became one"

he gives me this look and asks about how i like them
i begin to get into that as some guys come in, one of them carrying a box and puts it down as i'm talking to him. turns out the restroom is a club place for these teenagers/college students and we're still in norman. i start bragging about one of me "ancestors" who used to live there but i'm ignored as the two other guys who came in begin to wrestle with the guy i came in

my focus shifts to a round table with tvs on it, i notice the billy and mandy show on one and call to the guy i came with, calling him grim and it's time to go. i head down to a hall to my right and sense i'm being followed, i head towards a door and notice a cutout for something neopets. i grin wickedly and meiton we should go through it for something different. i can tell i've changed to goth styling and i can't get this grin off my face as we walk itno the room and interupt this meeting as we head to the other door. it's only once we're in the hallway that the dream ends...

the title I've given to my doll family, which is mostly comprised of Obitsus of various sizes and will soon include two Mini Ball Jointed Dolls. All my dolls are named aft6er a different character from Alice in Wonderland.

Where do you get your dolls?
Alice, Frederick, Natalie, Hawaido and Jack came from JunkySpot in Cali.
Stephen was adopted from one of my friends and given a new head from JunkySpot.

Are you going to get anymore dolls?
Currently I'm looking for a Duchess to add to my family in the future. I'd like her to be an MSD with nice big round eyes. I'm trying to steer away from Dollzone and get another brand this time.

The Mad Family

Alice the First -
(27cm Pale Skin Norman Bust Female Obitsu)

Alice was the first in a long long of dolls and she was quite dizzy after being freed from her box. Once Alice got her bearings though, she realized that she was *gasp* naked!

"I'm cold!"
"Get me some cltohes!"
"OMG! YOU'RE DAD IS STARING AT ME!" (yes, my dolls talk to me, I'm crazy)

So I made her first outfit, a simple yellow sundress that snapped once in the back, tied around the waist and again around the neck to hold it up. She loved it and soon found photo shots to be fun, first with mirrors and then with other dolls ^_^

Alice doesn't like to be alone so I got her a hatter...followed by a hare and a dormouse. She loves to cuddle with other people, either being held or holding others (as seen by many of our pictures). First with Stephen (as they took many pictures together) then with Natalie, whom she sees as a younger sister and now with her permanent partner, Usagi.

Alice shares a clothes box with Stephen and she wears mostly Barbie clothes, I plan on getting her a couple Jenny outfits in the future.

Stephen Hatters -
(Volks Neo EB-C with Obitsu pale skin rooted head)

When I put the word out online that I was planning on getting an 27cm boy to be my Hatter, my friend Kohaku told me that she had an Volks boy that she wasn't getting along with. So much in fact that when we talked again a few days before a con, she found that the boy had packed himself in her con bag *_*

The unnamed boy was then named Stephen Hatters, his hair trimmed a bit so I could see his eyes before I finally gave him a more realistic head and some new clothes. It was during a cross dressing photo shot with Alice that Stephen began experimenting with girl's clothes (not surprisihng since he used to be a she).

Stephen shares a clothes box with Alice and wears Barbie cltohes because of his girlish figure (Ken clothes are too big for him.

Charlemagne -
(22cm Volks hybrid)
Charlemagne had a customize body, Volks Option head and Obitsu eyes. At first, he was going to be me little white rabbit and Gaara (what with the color of eyes I choose) but I drilled his joint holes imperfectly so his limbs kept popping off when I moved him for pictures. I tried to fix him but finally gave him up for adoption to a woman in Phoenix, AZ.

Frederick Marches -
(27cm Pale Skin Slim Male Obitsu)

Frederick joined our finally some time after Charlemagne left us. I was kind worried that Alice and Stephen would blame him for the lose of their little sibling...but I think the fact that he had large rabbit ears protruding from his head out weighed that idea very quickly as Stephen couldn't help but point and state "you have rabbit ears!" while Alice just stared at them.

It took a while but Frederick and Stephen became a couple, especially after Stephen got his new head and began to look a little more girly. It was then that Frederick taught Stephen how to properly dress like a girl and now our Hatter wears skirts most of the time.

"Why do you dress me up like this?" Stephen asked one day.
