It is soooooo frustrating and stupid. I need to hook my laptop up to the scanner one day to scan the images (easier said than done with the layout of my equipment).

To anyone even THINKING about getting Vista:
DON'T DO IT.

If anyone knows what I can do to permanently fix this problem other than downgrading (which I'd prefer), please let me know.

At the moment these are all older photography projects. When I get around to fixing my scanner there will be TONS more.

I'm also contemplating on putting my images up for stock photography, but I'm not sure they're good enough.
