Okay fellas and chicas! Thanks so much for your involvement in former contests - now tell us what you'd like to see!

Caramelldansen contest: we've had one complete entry submitted and seen one WIP, but does anyone else have a caramelldansen entry in-progress that they want to see finished and entered? If not, we'll close up that contest and begin judging!

Music Video contest: is there interest in a music video contest? Simply create a fanvideo of TCE and/or AtA using fan art, or even (as ~Savvy23 did for Diem RolePlay characters [link] ) using movie clips of pre-selected actors to represent the characters, combined with fan art and art that reminds you of the characters! (ask *CallistoHime or *WishIWould if you want to know the actors for TCE/AtA/Diem characters).

Write a missing scene from TCE/AtA! Inspired by ~MillieBee's fan-literature [link] . Basically a writing contest, in which you can write out an "unseen scene" from AtA thus far! Write a scene from TCE or AtA that wasn't shown, but theoretically could have happened.

TCE/AtA CROSSOVER with Harry Potter! What House/occupation would each character have, etc! Potentially art and writing divisions, we'll see.

What do you guys think of these ideas? What kinds of deadlines seem reasonable? Which do you want to see when? LET US KNOW!

Well, it's been three weeks since our last contest.
Anyone interested in a new one? I could start one up any time.

The next one will allow you to draw from whatever game you want. BUT, it will be a traditional art contest. That means no CG. We'll have to go back in time to pencils, crayons, paints, charcoal, pastels. All those old school goodies.

ALSO! I think concerns have been raised about the voting in our contests, and I have to agree with them.
Around here, I believe, that when people vote, they vote for their favorite game and not on how well done the art may be. So, if it's alright with you guys, I'd like to assemble a troop of judges to judge the next contest. They of course will be unbiased in their ratings, because they will be a diverse group. Sound fair?

it's more muscley and more distinctly an "arm" in those drawings than what I see, but you can look at my drawings of Arda to see how I picture the dragon wings >.>

Not exactly, they have 4 feet and wings. But you see how in that drawing the arm IN the wing is very distinct and muscley? That’s not how I see it.

Welcome to the July 15, 2008 Q&A Session!

The transcript was kinda messed up So here's a "summary" of the questions and answers:

Does Manasa have a thing for Marth?

Yes. ^^

Did Roy's father know Ninian was a Manakete?

Yes =3 He lubbed her and married her.

What's up with the Revamp?

Chrissy: TCE Revamp is ... not being my BFF. BUT, I promise to have chp 1 up before I start writing chp 20, which is uber incentive for me. Chp 1 is being the more problem, so after that it should go better, but we're playing it by ear.

SO, WHAT'S SO IMPORTANT ABOUT ROY'S MOM TO VALE?

Chrissy: K, we learned that Vale has been looking for "Ninian's child," and that his Ring is actually an Emblem. Vale wants Manasa to take the group to Valor and go through the "Dragon Gate," open the gate and "let the dragons back out to have a chance to fight." So, Vale wants each emblem AND wouldn't settle for Manasa's attempt to let her JUST bring the Emblems.

Okay, well, if he needs the emblems and their carriers. Does this mean that, outside of the emblems; The carriers themselves have something to offer?

Chrissy:............... let's just say, emblems and carriers = connected to each other uberly

Zelda had the Triforce sealed away in the Sacred Realm, but it's also one of the emblems. Does this mean that they can't get all the emblems?

Yes, the Triforce is sealed away, and yes, the BF wants it That's all we can say. ^^

How do they keep their make up on?

Manasa's lips are naturally dark, but Zelda and Elice apply a little every day (except maybe not lately ). ^^ And Chrissy draws them "at their best."

Manasa is still in love with Navarre?

Chrissy: K, she... hates him, but a part of her wishes she could "save him," because, if she can make him be who he once "pretended to be"
Lauren: (who she thinks is "his real self," that's who she's in love with)
Chrissy: then she's not "dirty" or "ruined" like she thinks she is >_<

Why does she think she's so dirty and ruined?

Chrissy: because he's sexually abused her. >_< And, that's a natural thing for victims to feel. They blame themselves...even when it's NOT their fault AT ALL


Link gave his bow away to that kid, then had another one - how often does he stop to shop that we don't see?

Chrissy: Lots of people ask that question! I just thought it was a minor detail. Link loves shopping so they would just stop somewhere and get a new one.

Contest: As far as I'm aware, only one person entered the sports/games contest...I feel that it should be delayed until a time at which the characters are happier, within the story - until then, forcing them into a fun situation might just not work out! I've heard and figured that several of you have been running into this problem, even if you haven't been able to identify it quite so.

the DISNEY, MUSIC VIDEO and CARAMELLDANSEN contests are still going, though! Disney crossover 5/30, MUSIC VIDEO 6/30, and animate an AtA Caramelldansen 7/30! Keep the entries comin' in! We'll hopefully get more help for club updates soon, then we'll let you know what all contestants and prizes we have. ^_^

This late-entry nearly wasn't considered for judging, but we looked over it for fun - and quickly found him to our liking! This character's unique blend of accuracy and style are what brought him to the top. Aeros is a Sentei who could legitimately live in Diem with Marth, Roy, Manasa, etc, but the author didn't restrict him to being just like the Senteis we've seen! Aeros was raised by his parents in rural woods away from Sentei persecution, but also away from Sentei traditions. As a result, when his parents died he was left without an idea of how other Senteis are treated, but also without knowing how to teleport, and very ill skill in disguising. Though he doesn't fight with Sentei techniques, Aeros is a skilled fighter!

Great blend of what we know of Sentei from Among the Ashes, with a unique character history to boot! AEROS is also the correct accuracy and style to be eligible for World of Diem Role Play!
