SO. The reason my Ed cosplay went ka-put is because of a certain character on D. Gray-Man. He's voiced by Alfons Heiderich's voice actor, Jason Liebrecht, so, naturally, I was drawn to him. Odd, considering he's not the main character.
Nooo, he's not the Millenium Earl. He's Lavi!
What does this have to do with the Ed cosplay, you ask? Wellll--now I wanna cosplay Lavi. And get the wig ($44), eyepatch (like $5 at the local costume shop), and headband (hope I can still hand-sew), preferably before Halloween.

SOOO...I'm going to have to budget the meager revenue I rake in to pay for gas "and" fund the costume. xDDD Will I ever learn?

School's been out for about, eh...three weeks, I guess? I've already done a whole lot! I went to see miss Katie () in Florida, and that was an awesome experience.
We cosplayed and went to Walmart and missed the return of a shuttle, and we've got something planned for next month, too.
This week has been slow. Ow, Mom's cat is here, and she bites everything that moves. Mom adopted her, intending only to foster her until she was old enough to be off formula, but she got too attached, so Miss Carmella is the new addition to our family. I'm her babysitter, and between nomming on my feet and trying to take a swandive off my bed, she's a handful.

Er, artwise, I'm still trying to improve upon anatomy. Also, I wanna draw more Starfox.
ANDD...I might do an Ed cosplay sooner or later.
All depends on if I gather enough money for a wig. >w<; Why I didn't just buy that first instead of the costume, I'LL NEVER KNOW.

Some sort of statewide testing happens tomorrow as well as Tuesday. The week afterwards includes six finals. At least I won't have to study for the swimming final.
I really should be studying. Ehh, I'll do it later. My lack of concern towards this big math test sort of disturbs me. xD;

Anyhow, I'm working on a new style of art, and I'm trying to improve on photoshop. My tendency to use thick lineart and my coloring style and lack of movement annoys me somewhat. I'll try to submit a lot more often--and comment on your works, as well. D|
I look at them, trust me--I just hardly ever say anything.
Expect some more FMA fanart. It's not very popular anymore, and so I think it would be interesting to see how many views I can try to get with an anime that isn't as celebrated as Naruto or whatever.
Not trying to sound arrogant, but I'm really hoping I can achieve that level of greatness when it comes to my art. It shall be a good project for the summer.
Well, that's about it as far as updates go.
Expect me to be on a little less than usual for the next two weeks and a day due to school. I wanna finish school like I started it.

It had 'twelve' raisins in it--one I ate on accident--and all these little...nut things. They looked like bugs.
I hope they're not bugs.
Yesterday, a gigantic wasp landed on my knee on the bus. I was just looking out the window, and then BAM! there he is. His butt was hollow. I think he must have stung something--not a kid, though, because I'm sure I would have heard the screaming.
So anyway, he didn't have a stinger. But that didn't make him any less creepy. I mean, have you ever looked at a wasp 'up close'? Jeesh. They're so ugly.
So I flicked him off with a fingernail, couldn't find where he went, and moved up to the front of the bus. I felt like there was a wasp crawling somewhere on me for a few minutes afterward until I heard shrieking coming from the back of the bus. The girls had found the wasp, I guess. My brother began stomping on something. He found the wasp, too.
Then I didn't feel like things were crawling on me, anymore.
The line 'ladies and gentleman--can I have your attention puh-leeeeease?' keeps repeating itself in my head.
Also, we're going to do plays in English. My group votes on either Johnny the Homicidal Maniac or an alternate ending for Sweeney Todd. I think I was elected to be Nny if we do JTHM. I don't know who I'm supposed to be, if we do the play for Sweeney Todd.
I want a bigger part than I'm usually dealt.
I hate speaking in front of others, but maybe acting is different.
It's like roleplaying, in a way.

It's called 'A Little Piece of Heaven', and it reminds me of some sort of song you'd find in a Tim Burton film.
It's soft and pretty-sounding, in some parts, and then it starts sounding insane. xD

She says I like the erratic, weird songs, and I do. I mean, who wants to listen to a song that's constant throughout. I love how unpredictable the lyrics and tunes are. It even has a story in it, if you listen to the lyrics.
In a way, it reminds me of Nny from JTHM.
He was in love with that Devi girl, but out of fear that something would go wrong with their love, he tried to kill her.
That's kind of how this song is...only I think the woman in the song did die.

Halloween was expectionately fun.
I went as L from Deathnote, as you might have known.
'Nobody' knew who I was, when I wore that costume to school! One person thought I was a guy--but he was looking at me from behind. Other people wondered who I was, and then upon telling them who I was, they were like...'Sydney? Who's that?' x-x Other people were worried that I had really dyed my hair black and cut it short.
NO, PEOPLE.
Just no.
Though I 'may' get my hair cut shorter. I'm thinking of getting it cut real short in the back and then having it get progressively longer in the front so I can still have bangs.
Even though they give me zits, I love them little fellas.

I have a C in language, right now.
I did badly on a writing test. =o But it was during the week that sucked.
Did you know I looked up my grades on the Internet and during the week of the fifteenth, sixteenth, and nineteenth of October, I did horribly on three tests?
Yeah. I'm glad all that agony is over. x-x

Anyway, I can get Language up, very easily.
Writing is love, as my roleplay buddies may know.

So, anyway. That was my week. It hasn't been too bad. I'm sure it will get better, soon.
I'm trying to think a little more positively, than I used to. x-x I'm beginning to realize that my self-esteem is pretty frikking low. I'm going to correct that. >D That little inner critic inside my head will feel pain as I squish it down to nothing beneath my gigantic black shoes of doom.

In a roundabout way, except for the storms, I could have prevented the other things if only I had studied more. So, I guess I'll just have to start staying off the computer until my homework is finished, again. That hour-long bus ride I take everyday hardly puts a dent in it, apparently. Especially when you drive on gravel roads. Those things are hard to write on.
Not only that, but it's 'really' hard to concentrate on that bus. I swear. I have 'never' been in a more obnoxious place. It smells like one giant dead animal. The windows are always down, so dirt from the gravel road rushes in and coats everything. The little kids are up there making high-pitched, squealy noises. The older kids are talking about porn and other such things. And there I am, trying to do homework in the midst of it all. x-x

And, 'if' I get my liscense, that little bus ride should be eliminated. My driving instructor might not have been real impressed with me, but I was nervous...and I made a lot of stupid errors solely because I was all rattled-up. I mean, I tried to pull into drive when there was 'grass' in front of me, and then I forgot to put on my seatbelt so I was trying to put it on while the car was still in reverse. I didn't drive fast enough, the whole way through. And, when I was pulling into a parking lot so I could get out, I 'fell to pieces', like my driver instructor said. I didn't make the turn well enough, he had to lay on the breaks, and I didn't park right, either.
He said he didn't appreciate my lack of experience behind the wheel, or something. x-o I'm definitely going to have to practice harder.

Also, I have a test over the material of that quiz I bombed in algebra, today. WHOOPEE! If I have time, I'll talk to my algebra teacher about getting some help, on that lesson. I really don't know why it's so difficult for me. It's just multiplying and dividing polynomials...

I don't really know why, but I haven't been able to pay attention in class, lately. I mean, I have to really work to keep focused. If I don't, I end up daydreaming or drawing random crud in my notebook. 'That' may be another reason I bombed that test.

I dunno. This week just sucked.
I hope next week's better. =/

It's hard to stay in those lines. The line in the middle is all rough and stuff. And people kept passing me like...WTH is wrong with you, lady? And I kept missing my turns.
But it was okay.
Dad expected me to do much worse, I think.
Because he seemed impressed.

It's like...my worst nightmares come true. I mean, I always have bad dreams about driving.
And it wasn't as hard as I thought it was.
And my dad was there, which helped.
In my dreams, we're always stranded, and I have to get my little brother and sisters home...
That, or my brother drives.
Which is just as scary.

One.) I really enjoying dressing-up. Doesn't matter what day of the year it is. If I wanna cosplay, I cosplay. I especially love walking around in my Edward Elric costume when nobody's home. When I was younger, I told my grandma it was 'Dress-up Day' at school. And it wasn't. But she believed me. So, it was out of a few brown grocery bags that I conjured up a chipmunk costume. And wore it. To school.
AND I WONDER WHY PEOPLE TEND TO STAY AWAY FROM ME, NEH? DD

Two.) Speaking of which, dared me to wear my Edward Elric coat to school, one day. So I did. I got a lot of comments--some of 'em was rather rude--but man. That thing was hot, in biology class. In case you have no clue what his coat is like, it's a bright red trench coat with the flamel on the back.
And I've been asked if that flamel was a satanic symbol, before.
YES, PEOPLE. I WORSHIP SATAN. BOOWAHAHAHA!!

Three.) I've overdosed on my inhalor. Twice. And, let me tell, if it's anything like getting high, I will stay away from drugs for the REST of my life. Basically, when I do, I sit there and shake and throw-up and can't breathe. And when I use my inhalor again--because I am known to have bouts of idiocy, from time-to-time--then it only gets harder. Do you know what it's like to suffocate for more than eight hours and to try and recover all the energy lost from trying to breathe about four days later.
DO YOOOOU?!

Four.) I hate kites. I flew one when I was five or six. It didn't even get in the air, at first. And when it did, it got caught in a tree. So I ran inside and cried while Dad got it down.
I still DESPISE flying kites, to this day.

Five.) My lowest grade on my report card is in art, right now. Px

Six.) There's never been a point in my life where I haven't been obsessed with an animated TV show. Well, maybe when I was in the womb, I wasn't. But I couldn't exactly watch TV in there, now could I?
I've been obsessed with these things, respectively: Lion King, Pokemon, Digimon, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Invader Zim.

Seven.) I hate water parks. They smell. They're hot. They're wet. THEY'RE FULL OF URINE AND EXCREMENT. Every five feet, there's a band-aid sticking to the putrid concrete. VERY, VERY OVERWEIGHT PEOPLE IN BIKINIS.
'Nuff said.

Eight.) I enjoy cherry rock candy and cherry bagels and cherry other things. But not cherry Icees. When you've thrown-up in the middle of a bathroom floor and it was regurgitated "cherry" Icee in a puddle on the tile, you will not like them, either.

But that might be because I've stayed out of the ocean. Mostly, I've just swam in the tiny pool and drawn things in the sand. But the ocean hates my pictures, so it keeps washing them away. =/ It kinda stinks.

Right now, I'm eatin' chips. And inking in a comic I drew. I thought the storm that hit while we were taking our luggage up to the fourteenth floor blew it away, but it didn't. So that's good. I ate a chicken sandwich yesterday. It hurt my mouth. TOO BIG.

When I went to a restaurant, I stood near the door and drew on my clipboard. About three different people thought I was taking reservations, so I left my post by the door and sat down. When I started ranting about the incidents, someone heard me and said 'so I wasn't the only one?'. And she kept touching my shoulder. It was like...get away, man.

I sleep in a little room near the kitchen on a pull-out bed. It's small but comfy and sits in front of a huge window.

Yesterday, I went outside on the beach and got bored quickly. 'Cause, frankly, you can only draw in the sand for so long. So I went back in to get on my compie. I was gonna take the stairs because I hate elevators. And I went up like...one flight, and suddenly, they weren't there anymore. So then I 'had' to take the elevator. And that damned thing stopped on floor eight and just kinda stood there. I was freaking out 'cause I thought I was trapped. I'm claustrophobic.

Then it started going down to the ground floor, again!

That's the last time I ever ride in an elevator alone.

So, anyway, I've run out of paper. And I forgot my tablet. So I can't draw. Whee.

I'm bored. And that's the end of my rambling.

Today, I went to an amusement park. I learn very educational things, when I visit amusement parks. Like how certain rocket engineers might cough-up blood onto vanilla icecream cones for the little children. If the kids are lucky, they might also get a chunk of lung. But, like I said, they hafta be pretty lucky for that.
