Our biology class got an extention for our microbe water investigation.

Hopefully should be out taking photos on saturday. . . i'm thinking sydney for some night shots but not sure yet.

I've been taking quite a few snaps but really not happy with them.

Also looking for a macro lens. Any sugestions.

This now means i have:

Been a busy few weeks though being back at school. All the assessments building up again and trying to get through all that. Got my English one on Blade Runner and Blade New World over and done with at 9.05am
1 down 4 to go. :/

Went in the BMC Working Week Series at Appin on the weekend, it was an 8 Hour endurance Mountain Bike race. My mate and i (as it was a team relay race in a way) came second in the Junior category which is awesome considering it was just us two and the other teams had 3+ people in them.
I took over 800shots, all of cyclists so probably not going to upload them here cause of permission and stuff.

Well that's enough of my rambling, also trying a CSS template from ¢mynti.

After taking a few shots my 55-200mm VR lens auto focus decided to kark itself and no longer continue (much to my disgust). So all the shots from the day i will post when i get around to it i had to manual focus which was a new experience for me.

Went into the shop that i bought it from today and the lady said that there was nothing wrong with it and was focused fine, i then asked her to take a shot and because it had not focused it did not.

So its been sent off to the Nikon Service Center in the city, hopefully get it back soon. They wanted to keep my whole camera and my other 18-55mm lens which works perfectly.

UPDATE:
Got a call from the shop and went in, they put the lens on a Nikon D80 and it worked perfectly. The guy said that there might have been something jammed in the auto focus and dislodged when moved about in the store.
