I have had several notes, comments and emails over the past few months to do with people asking permission to use my work or vectors in signatures, layouts etc... for their own use or for people to use in their communities.

I am extremely flattered with the comments but my work was not intended for this use. A lot of effort and time has gone in to my graphics and one line crediting me doesn't cover this. So i am sorry but the answer will always be no.

On another note I have seen A LOT of art theft recently, people ripping creative concepts of others, creating almost identical works and decompiling flash sites and altering them slightly to fit their own needs. This makes me sick, someone will be reaping all the praise and congratulations that belong to the original artist. If you see it do sumthing about it, but approach the person first to make sure your claim is justified. Put a stop to this petty theft.



I am bogged down with tafe and industry work at the moment so the deviations will be put on hold.

Basketball grand final on Saturday! This will be mine and my basketball mates last Saturday season ever for he wildcats so we have to finish on a premiership. Especially for my mate who owns 10 runners up trophies and not a single Premiership.

4: Logo and business cards for a local drummer

As well as staying on top of my studies so i have been fairly busy.

And behold, I finally came up with a logo that i like!





I have 5 vectors going at the moment, I just seem to be loosing interest in them as soon as i get to about 80% But they will be coming.

I have recently found out that adroit-design (which I already had as a registered business name in Australia) has already been taken by a few other companies overseas and thus I am trying to come up with a new name. I personally like onPhire concepts, The poll I had a few days ago showed that people thought I should “keep thinking”. I want to try out some logos I came up with on ya.

I got the inspiration of the phoenix when reading about it on a Greek and Egyptian mythology website, "Only one phoenix exists at a time." which I feel symoblises uniqueness and individualism, which is a necessity in design.

The "Ph" in Phire was taken from Phoenix (the bird of fire).

Been a while since my last journal, 3 months, so i will try and squeeze a lot into this journal.

Spent my Christmas in Adelaide with the Spiel and Dodman family's, which is normally bearable but my sister who usually helps me thru the ordeal was in Thailand.

New Years was great, a few mates and I went down to Phillip Island and camped for a few days. On news years eve we walk around 16km to Cowes and back which would not have been possible without the necessary alcoholic beverages.

Summer kicks maximum arse!!! We have had a few 40+ days and when I’m not stewing in my own juices i have been soaking up this sweet summer sun at the beach and in various pools with ma mates.

Basket ball gets back soon and it turns out i will be playing my mate =expansiondesign's team. It should be a good match.

I have been doin trivia at the hawthorn the last 2 Monday nights, the first time we did it we came equal last and lee had to dack himself to win the last place prize (the cheapest, shittiest wine eva) which the guys later necked in the park. where lee ate an entire jar of pickled gherkins in 7 minutes (they almost came back up that many times too). Well this week we came 3rd out of around 12 tables and this time it was my turn for the pickles... NOT COOL! I got them down, eventually in 12 minutes or sumthing, berg ate 3/4 of a bottle of hot American mustard (0.5L)! Lee got a blood nose from even trying it! And Col ate an entire stick of hot salami. GOOD TIMES!!!



Been trying a few new things recently as some of u have noticed. Also have been using inspiration and putting more feeling into my pieces, which makes it SOO much more rewarding and fun. Expect more of the same nature to come!

My birthday yesterday!!! the big 19! Booyah!

General: my life seems to be falling back into place after my big accident... I have become re-acquainted with an old friend called "$" and I have a job at a Greek restaurant called da Giovanni’s in Camberwell waiting. And I made a whopping $65 at a neighbour’s garage sale.

Deviations: I am doing a few collabs at the moment, should be fairly good, they all are taking ages to start/complete, but I will get their. I have had a tendency of starting on a piece and almost finishing but getting stuck on how to finish it, be the background or just throwing sumthin in to set it off.

Basketball: Basketball started back up woohooo!!! P good team, few guys I haven’t played with but they are making a good first impression. Just missed out on a triple double ... (One more rebound) ARRGH! I didn’t think that was that bad for the first game back of the season.
