I feel as though I should at least get concepts for the immediate characters that will be at the start of the story, rather than rush to get EVERYONE done before starting...cause I really wanna get some sketches of the pages down before it gets too late. As of right now, me and my friend Ryan basically have what all happens in Isaac's story line. What we are missing are details for the other story line dealing with the war between the Olympians and the Kingdom of Heaven.

I am gonna try and get Isaac's story completed and drawn out first, since that is the most productive one as of right now, and then hopefully work back into the War side of the story, and mesh them both together very nicely, lol. The story lines will alternate between each chapter, and sometimes even throughout the chapters themselves, depending on the events that are happening.

So right now things are moving steady. I can't get much down right now due to finals, but will eventually get something down as time presents itself. I will check back with you guys later, and let you in on what's happening.

Alright, so how are all of you doing today? Or tonight I should say. Anyways, I am finally done with my first semester of college. It went pretty good, all A's and B's so I am extremely happy .

Now I have some time to concentrate on my artwork. My graphic novel is coming along pretty well. The storyline has come a long way since the last time you guys have seen it. Isn't that one horrible? lol, anyways it has more more depth and realty to it than before. The powers that Damien gains has a deeper meaning than him just achieving great powers. I'm getting the minions down right now, and figured the final drafts of what Damien will look like, and getting some more concepts of what Zakirya will look like.

Okay, so here is the story as of right now.



THE LOST COLONY. Lol, yes that is right. Roanoke, the famous colony that mysteriously disappeared around 1587. This is gonna be long so, I am sorry but I wanna right this down so I don't forget it, lmao.

Now how I want to tie this into my story is this...on the way over from England, the mother is pregnant with Zakirya and has him a few days before they land in the new world. A year later, Damien is born, the first of the Lockess family to be born in america. Now, that Sir Walter Raliegh planned the expedition to the carolinas to find a new colonizing spot. They decide to take over Roanoke island. Well, they move there and begin to colonize it. As they progressively start to develop the city, one of the settlers stumbles upon one of these old indian caverns, but the way in is shut off (Now remember that the indians used to be...or still are...really in tune with nature and the elements, right?). As the settler looks upon the cavern, he notices symbols on either side of the cave (old indian symbols of some sort...not sure yet). He touches one of the symbols and activates the internal workings of the cavern, releasing the elemental beings held inside through the ages and opens the entrance to the cave, bursting into the city are these spirits who then destroy everything the settlers set out to create.

Damien, Zakirya, and the parents were out of town and were just arriving back into the city when this happens. They see the fires beginning and their father jumps off the wagon to help and is immediately killed by the spirits running loose. As everything is turned to ruin, the spirits revert back into the cave...but the entrance remains open. And yes the mother begins to cry...

The mother and 2 sons eventually pack up and leave for another colony being built inland. A good 20 years go by. The mother becomes ill and is detained to her bed for the rest of her days. Damien becomes engaged to the love of his life. They marry, and soon after the mother dies from her illness, giving Zakirya images and nightmares of that night their father was killed...he cannot bear it and forces himself to leave the village to find himself. About 2 more years pass with no word from Zak, until the one fateful night that would change everything.

Zak re-appears, with new and unbelievable powers. He torches the entire village, reducing everything and everyone to rubble. Damien is returning from the forest with food when he sees the smoke and returns, only to be brought down by a log from a house crumbling to the ground. When he comes to, he sees his brother, holding a blade to his wifes neck. He tells him to follow him if he ever wants to see his love ever again. When Damien asks where he wants him to go. All Zakirya says before he turns around is "Where it all began..."

Now this leads him into this journey across the land to the island of Roanoke. As he makes his way to the island, he finds that there are new inhabitants there. A colony of indians from the Pamlico tribe have assembled a new home. They have rekindled the spirits of the cave and have resurrected the land and turned it into a new and peaceful providence. They tell him that a young man came here a few months earlier and entered the cave...unwilling to learn of the teachings they would have shared with him about that cave. As Damien talks to the indigenous tribe he finds a shaman named Zangan. He tells of his training of the persons that are willing to enter the cave and take the trials that it possesses inside in order to attain a power that non have seen before. Damien, intrigued by the thought of powers, and the thought of Zakirya's newly attained powers immediately accepts the shamans offer and begins his training.

As the months pass, Damien becomes ready for the trials ahead. He stands ready at the gates to the cavern, dressed in the indian-made armor made just for him.

If there is anyone out there that can help me fix up my pictures on here so that they look more like a scanned picture rather than a digital photo...I wanna get rid of all the shadows in the pictures so I can work with it better. Main Character: Damien Lokess

Sex: Male

Weapon of Choice: Sword/Shield- His shield can absorb almost any attack dealt to it because of it’s dent resistant metal. Can not be penetrated by any normal means. His sword is very sturdy. Hand-crafted by Damien himself, the blade can cut through most anything and not break. Combat issues would be that it is weak by the top and bottom points because of the blades thinness in these two areas. Mainly used with 2 hands but can, in most cases, be a one handed sword if used with a shield. Has good balance from end to end.

Powers: (Long description warning! lol) Special Armor- His suit is made of a type of self repairing material that will grow back over time if ripped, torn, or cut off. As flexible as a cotton shirt and pants..but tough at steel, or titanium. Impervious to the elements, water resistant, Fire resistant. His gloves give him an extra grip allowing him to handle his sword better with one hand, along with giving him the ability to slow himself down if he would want to skim down a side of a cliff or building. His boots give him an extra lift to his jumps, allowing easier crossing of gaps and avoiding attacks. This suit can be unclothed and re-clothed by mere thought, replacing what he has had on before the summoning of the armor/suit. His suit will also give him special powers later on to help even the odds between him and his brother, but he will unlock these as he progresses to that enevitable day. (Which means I don't know what they are yet, but will figure them out soon. lol)
The suit is not electronic for those of you who might have read the spider-man comics when Iron Man gave Peter some new threads, and he could control it's appearance by his thoughts. This is indeed similar (which is where I got the idea), but it is more along the lines of a magical aspect, rather than scientific.


Alright, so the storyline begins in about the early ages of the 16-17 century. Damien narrates the story to the readers and explains his intentions so far up to this point where the comic starts. It flashes back to the point where he began this "Journey" to find his brother.
He tells that he and his brother were very close to one another. They had no other family other than they're grandfather. But once their Grandfather had past away, they became distant...his brother had left for a while, Damien stood behind in the town. Years past with no word. 5 years later his brother returns dressed in a black cloak, a tattoo embedded into the back of his neck. He destroys the entire town.
Long story short...he follows his brother through a nearby desert, (he is done narrating now)finally ending his search in an unknown jungle, and into a cave. He finds him there. They fight, Damien loses miserably.
He is rescued and taken to a nearby village, and learns of these powers that he can attain when great evil has risen. He enters into this cavern, takes the trial inside and attains these powers, gaining this new armor and shield. His brother comes in, Summons four entities at his side, each representing an element (earth, water, wind, fire). they talk for a bit, then leave. As they leave, on entity summons a minion to attack Damien. They leave through a portal, and Damien follows..pushing the minion in with him. The portal transports him into the present day (not sure which city yet..).


This is all still getting the kinks worked out of it so...be gentle, lol. Please let me know what you think, and any ideas would be helpful.

The reason that I did the time leap is that I thought it would make the story more interesting. I really would like to do the leap in time...but I just have to figure out why the hell I had his brother made that portal in the first place, lol.

Yeah, so I have that and plus I have been working on a book I have been writing. You ever have one of those Ideas that just seem to sound good if you go by the seat of your pants? Well, this is one of those moments. I am thinking of everything as I go along and it sounds pretty good. Like I am getting the main storyline down, and then going back into it and adding more detail, or "meat" to the chapters, lol. Hopefully it comes out great, lol. I've always wanted to write a novel, lol.

And alot of other stuff has been going on in my life as well. I had a girlfriend for about a month. She was so great, and I loved her so much. But she decided to break up with me a day after our one month. I didn't really like it that much...but it's been about a week now and I am over it. I have gone on with my life. Someone that truly loves me will find me in time...I can wait I guess, lol.

But right now everything is fine in my life and I am doing really good. I have a very positive state of mind. I always have. I never look at things in terms of good and bad, but as minor drawbacks that will ultimately lead to much greater things to come . So if you need some cheering up, I will do my best to help lol. Well, there is a war going on through this entire comic. Me and my friend were thinking of calling it "The Faceless War". One, we are calling it this because the main characters don't really have faces, and second because all 5 brothers are in this war and no one has a clear shot of winning. There is no face, no clear answer to this war. It's not clear to anyone who actually wins until the end. Who wins? Well, I'll leave that up to you. But for the most part it focuses on the 2 rival brothers, Saiben and Tus.

Simple, Tus wants more power...Saiben wants to restore peace to their family's world. We were thinking of putting different sub characters in to the mix as well, but we still have to figure those out still. I was thinking of some of them as like Sub-Bosses that you would see in games and stuff.

But anyways, I'm straying away from wut I really wanted to touch on. You see, this comic isn't occuring on this world, planet Earth. It is taking place on a different planet, with different inhabitants other than humans. That's why they have wings, and don't have that much of a face. And before you say "Well, how are they gonna talk?", I have a solution. They speak to each other through telepathy and you can see there emotions though there eyes.

You see this started as like a heaven and hell kind of thing. Then it branched off from there. So when we were picking a name for the race of these beings, we chose the name Antiengal (Ant-ten-jahl). It is a mixture of the words saint and angel.

Armour- Doesn't have much armour. He wears a type of sage's robe with a type of flame design on the sides. His boots are armoured in the front. He also wears a necklace that enhances his sorcery skills.

Weapon(s)- He carries a staff that has engravings over all of it. This staff enhances his magical abilities about 10-20%, depending on his strength at that time. Also uses his sorcery skills that he has developed through the years. Can cast hordes of magics including barriers and elemental magics.

Fighting Style- Doesn't have much of a style, due to the fact that he is the youngest of the 5 brothers and has not had as much experience in the heat of battle. He knows little of hand to hand fighting

Ronin-Never seen without a lady on his arm, he is by far the most untrustworthy and devious in nature. Having sided with Tus, this proves to Saiben and Tristian that he has his own agenda. Very Intelligent when it comes to sword fight and battle tactics. He carries with him 2 katanas, each with mystical inscriptions on the blades edge. One sword carries the words of Might. The other bares the words of Power.

Armour- Has a leather chest plate, with spandex like material underneath. 2 palendrones are on each shoulder, and he has sturdy bands around his forearms. He sometimes wears a faceguard in the form of a mask, and has hinges so as to flip the mask up or down.

Weapon(s)- Ronin carries 2 katanas with him at all times. These are one type of weapon that he uses in battle. His reflexes are deadly and swift and with the katanas. He is nearly untouchable in battle due to his speed. He has been dubbed "The Teleporter" due to his uncanny ablilty to teleport short distances during battle, this being his greatest weapon of all.


Tus- Having been an outcast of the family for quite some time, he returned to the kingdom in hopes of regaining a relationship with his father. This idea was shortlived due to his fathers passing. Being the oldest, he demanded that he have the most power of the 5. But this was also shortlived as his father gave equal power to all of the brothers. The torment of losing both his father and his dreams of power, he saught to regain it by force, attacking his youngest brother, Lourik's kingdom and starting this war.

Armour- Has full platemail armour. Made of Galvithium and is indestructable. Almost all of his woredrobe is made of galvithium, including his boots and gauntlets.

Weapon- ?, he has the ability to control the energy of his body and harness it as a weapon.

Well, long story short...the comic will begin with the final battle between Saiben and Tus...two brothers on different sides, one for the peace and restoration of this once peaceful land (Saiben), and the other for the power and glory of ruling an entire world (Tus).

After a few slides it will flashback to when it all started. There were five brothers: (Ordered from oldest to youngest) Tus, Tristain, Saiben, Ronin, and Lourik. Their father, Lennodus had fallen ill and past away, leaving his entire kingdom to his five sons. The land and army was split equally between the five brothers, and each brother created their own new kingdoms and ruled them however they sought fit.

But to Tus...this wasn't enough. He wanted all the power to himself, and he wanted it so badly that it haunted him in his sleep. Years later he finally cracked and attacked his youngest brother, Lourik's, kingdom and forced the others to partake in the bloodfest. Ronin was swayed over to Tus' side...and Tristain pledge to help Saiben take Tus down. Lourik was left in the middle. Uncertain of which side to turn to, and plagued by the thought of being killed by one of his own brothers, Lourik cast himself from the top of his castle. His death became a catalyst of the war and cause each side to flare to dramatic proportions. Who should win, is still in question.

Saiben: A man of good hearted nature and friendly actions, but can be a bit of a loner at times. He is the third oldest brother of the 5 and only wants to have peace in his kingdom. When Tus had gone insane, he tried countless times to sway his opinion back to being peaceful with one another, but Tus would not have it. Saiben swore to stop Tus by any means neccessary, even if it meant killing his own brother...
Weapon- Ancestrial Blade: This blade has been past down from generation to generation through Saiben's family. Each wielder of this blade carved their name into the handle.He acquired this when he was 18 and ready to become a young adult. It was given to him by his father, Lennodus, and is kept with him at all times. Can cut through almost anything.
Armour- Mostly made up of regular garments. A cape and gauntlets cover parts of his upper body. His boots are made of both Galvithium and leather.
Galvithium is a very rare metal that is only used for royalty's armour and is completely unbreakable.
Style of Fighting- More of a free stylist. He is quick with the blade and has some good melee moves aswell. He is a formidable opponent on the battle field.

Tristain: More of a loner than Saiben. He is a very quiet person, but will talk when spoken to. Tristain sides with Saiben in this fight. Even though he is a loner at heart, he still wants the right thing to be done.
Weapon- He calls it a bowblade (similar to squalls gunblade off of FFIII). It is a sword attached to the end of a cross bow handle. Two arrow canisters are on either side of the blade so that he may switch from melee to arial combat when neccessary. He made this himself and considers it the perfect weapon to have during combat. He won't fight with anything else.
Armour- Almost a full body of armour. Except for his legs and upper arms. A small chest plate infront, and chainmail backing it. His helmet he only where's during battles of massive proportion, but doesn't bother when facing small groups of enemies.
Fighting Style- Tends to lean more towards arrow fights rather than actual sword fights. This helps keep distance btwn him and his enemies, but when placed in a corner, lookout. His blade is razor sharp and wont hesitate to pierce through you in an instant.

Well, I just got back from takin my SAT's. And believe me, they suck lol. I was there from 8 o'clock this morning and spent 4 hours takin that stupid thing. So I finished them up around 12:30-12:45, something like that, then went to Walmart and got my self another Stephen King book, The Gunslinger. Which, from the first 6 pages, is gonna be a good one lol. So now I'm just relaxin and playin around on the ol' PC. So, I'll be postin some more pictures up pretty soon, so look for some goodies! lol, alrighty catch ya guys laterz.
