Yuck.
Since I don't know *any* of you people (except for minnestoawildgurl17 and BaboonsMistress), I can just tell you all about my crazy little life, okay?
First thing off; track. I think it's a sign. So far I've strained my right quad and my left hamstring, have shin splints (had those last year too and they aren't pleasant), and I have something funky going on with my right arch. The coaching is incredibly better than it was last year (new long jump teacher; I can actually clear the board no thanks to WAGEI!!!) and the activites are a lot more fun.
Ryan got pelted by several soccer balls... At once... I GOT THE FIRST HIT IN!!! *happy dance* (As you can tell, Ryan is a little dumbass; funny to the point of no return, but a little jackass.)
Second thing; my dating problems. Sure I like the guy I'm dating only a lot, but there is little, if no, physical attraction. But we've been dating on and off for the past year and a half, so he knows my limits, I know his, and I feel completely at ease with him.
Now for the cute Drama boy; long, messy hair (heck, it's longer than mine! ... but that's not really saying anything) and a horse like gait... O.o Nevermind. Long story, but let's just say I blush and stutter around him. With him I have the attraction I'm lacking with BF#1 and needless to say, it's driving me crazy. I like one guy one way, and one guy the other.
*kills little Amanda doll for comfort*
Finally, a play which is the white version of the black version of the Broadway verison of the real Wizard of Oz is being performed at our school. I got to go to dress rehersal and must say that between the horny lion, the prostitute kitty-cats, and the twister that is actually a guy with a twister (as in the game you play) blanket over his head, I'd say it was pretty damn good.
I didn't like Dorothy though.
DB played an Oz person and a flying monkey. BF#1 was a Winkie. He served the Evil Witch of the West (Evilena or something like that) who was actualy a guy dressed up. The boobs were obviously fake. The cat-o-nine tails whip was pretty funny too. Ben, Brutus's lover dude thingy-ma-bobber played the perfect twitching underling.
No wonder he and Brutus get along.

"The Cello Cubby Incident"? Hello? Sounds like a cheap horror movie, doesn't it?
Speaking of cheap horror movies, the experience was one. Okay, so I'm hanging out with my two back-stabbing friends (the Brutus and Cassius type) and we're in the band room. (Yes, I would be a band geek if I could actually play an instrument...) The double doors open up to a little hallway, about 20 feet long, with cubbies for the instruments lining the walls.
Including these huge cello cubby cases.
We've, meaning my idiotic friends and I, have done stupid things in these cubbie cases (did you know that you can fit seven people into one standard cello case?) and this was just another one of those days.
So Amanda, aka Brutus, Theresa, aka Cassius, and I are running back and forth between these cubbies, acting like our normal, stupid teenage girl selves, when I run across the hall into the only case open. Now, I don't hear the door opening and surely enough, Brutus and Cassius do. (I have a little wax in my ears, if you know what I mean.)
So Brutus leans forward, holds back a laugh and then Cassius peeks out of her little cubby and holds back a laugh to. Now, since I think Cassius is peeking out to charge into my cubby case, I thought of running out and hissing at her, saying, "MY CASE!!!"
It's a good thing I didn't run out. But at the exact moment that I decide to be a complete and total idiot, my crush walks by.
Now, I haven't spoken, *ever*, with the Drama Boy (DB for short). He has hair longer than I do and is a grade above me, and from what I hear he's really nice (Brutus has known him for 3 years; Cassius's older brother is friends with him).
He's a great actor. My jaw dropped when I saw him performing for the first time. So naturally, I'm flustered around him. I walk quickly away when I get 10 feet closer than I need to be. But at this moment, he's a foot or less away.
I strike a karate move, like I'm from a cheesy dubbed film, like Kung-Pow Fist (which was actually supposed to be cheesy) and as he looks at me, this still not registering in my mind that DB is looking at me, I hiss "MY CASE!!!"
Needless to say, he looked at me like I was a complete idiot. Then it occured to me that the first time I had ever looked in his eye and said something to him was during one of the dumbest moments of my day. I fell to the ground, burning in the face, and laughed my head off. I'm the type to laugh when I'm embarrassed. I didn't see him double back and look at me (as B& C told me later) while I was in fetal position in the corner of a cello case.
Hmm, I think I'll go down in history as the 'stupid idiot who did that thing in the cello cubby'.

I start Track and Field on April 5th (hear the chorus of angels in the background) and I haven't done anything since last year when TAF ended. Aka I'm completely bent out of shape. Not only will I be slow and jiggle (sorry for the bad mental image) the first week or two, but I have to do that in front of preps.
Normally I'm not a very disagreeable person, but lately I've grown tired of the complete and total lack of 'it's what inside that counts'. Yes. Even our principal told a girl that this is Middle High School, not Middle WHORE School. Thank you Mr. D, that will live forever on in my heart.
But our school is dominated by B. Spears worshippers and the mascara cult. Every girl here seems to be the next fashion consultant; most of the girls are actually pretty nice and smart (it's a perk that they're pretty), but some of the girls seriously nbeed to be sniped down. I hope when Ben goes crazy and brings a pistol to school that he guns down a certain person that shall remain unnamed. (Ben is constantly picked on and pushed around it isn't even funny; he had to go get stitches because Josh pushed him into the metal corner of a desk. Josh is just a prick. If he acted different I would have a total crush on him, since he totally screams Draco Malfoy.)
Anyway, if Tiffany leaves me alone which she most certainly will not, then I'll have a good six weeks running my ass off (literally). Hurdles are incredibly fun too, but I can't get my left leg over first. Gods only know how much I don't want to make a fool of myself in front of the sevies. *shudders*
As for my scanning/uploading process: I'm procrastinating. I hope to have them up by at least Friday, but the weather has been incredibly good (50 degrees or higher! WHOOT!) and I'm out a lot. Did my homework on the deck, stretched out on the blanket with only a tank top and shorts on. *chuckles* 58 degrees. Paradise I tell you.

One word: Shit.
The process didn't work. The pictures start from the scanner were too large and had too much information; the e-maill could not be sent properly, thus I couldn't recieve it.
On a good note though, at least this time around I know exactly what to do, how to do it, and how much time I'll have. (But unlike last time, when I had only four pictures to scan and send, now I have about fourteen. After yesterday's failure, I went around and scrounged up my drawings that won't make anyone's eyes bleed. I was surprised at how few of those I had... In the word's of Jacques from Finding Nemo: 'I am ashamed'.)
Anyway, I found this picture of demon Inuyasha that I had drawn a while back, and loved it. Now this was an incredibly risky move; I colored it. With permanent marker. At first I meant only to do his eyes, you know, for effect. But then his eyes expanded to his rosary, then his outline, the purple marks, the ears, and eventually his skin. Though there is no shading (yet), this is another step forward into my drawing career.
I can now color.
Of course this means I'll be going back and coloring everything. Not after dowloading it of course, because I'm not an idiot and know that I'm going to mess up ona majority of these, so I'm going to at least download the sketches first.
What I wouldn't give for Adobe Paintshop... Hopefully I'll get it for my birthday or Christmas (I'm not old enough to get a source of income beyond babysitting), on the condition that my parents have actually been listening to me bitch.
