Well, I guess anything goes as long as it's related to the animal or power. I'd prefer straight up male/female, though.

Once again, self-explanatory. Let's try and make 'em realistic, please. Metric or US is fine; I can convert.

The looks: hair, eyes, skin, clothing, etc. Just a general description is fine. I'm probably going to be slapping extra stuff on them (or taking off; depends).

ANIMAL:
Standard animals are preferred. Basically any animal that exists naturally on the Earth is acceptable. Hopefully, some geography will be taken into account when picking. No mythological creatures, no hybrids/chimaeras, and no microorganisms, please and thanks. Unless there's something totally awesome going on, then I might give it a thought. Otherwise, standard. Please.

ABILITY:
Like a superpower. This ability should relate to the animal selected in some way. Please try and be original and creative. For example, rather than having an eagle or something and having the ability to sprout wings and fly, I'd prefer something strange, like a vulture and having the ability to tell when somebody died by the taste of their flesh or something. Go nuts, basically. As long as it isn't super overpowered or outrageous, I probably don't mind.

2) 9(Amara) tries to get 5(Keet) to go to a strip club.

Oh, gosh, lolz. IÂm willing to bet that neither of them have any idea what a strip club is, and that theyÂll both end up dashing out the door the moment they see whatÂs inside.
Âbut considering as theyÂre both underage and short, I donÂt think theyÂd even be allowed in.

Such habits are childish and impractical; there is nothing I own that I cannot live without.

It is customary for paladins to wear the colors of one's patron deity; in my case, it is the blue and gold of the Sun God, Thanas.

1. Personal information
d: I think you're all pretty familiar with the fact that I'm pretty secretive about my personal info. Aeorys, Anonym, Eris, AK, etc. are common usernames I use while online. I'm a legal adult (18+) and a resident of SoCal. I'm a first-generation American-born Chinese.

2. Genres
A mix between original and fan RP; specifically, RoLaS and FE. I prefer original RPs over fan RP most of the time unless I'm really familiar with and into the fandom. Fantasy is my favorite genre, without a doubt, especially combined with medieval/Middle Ages settings. I don't mind modern, post-modern, or post-apocalyptic RPs, either, though futuristic ones are a little harder for me to do. I'm not so great with SciFi. I like action/adventure roleplays, though I'm apparently better at social RPs rather than combat ones.

3. Style
Forum RPs are the main, though I do cheap script-style OOC RPs with my friends over instant messaging or in chatrooms with close online friends for fun. Novel-style, 3rd person limited, generally, unless I'm running the RP with both villains and multiple hero or non-player characters. I'm kind of anal about my writing, and I try to shoot for at least five paragraphs per post. It usually takes me a few hours to post for some reason. I'm kind of slow at writing. /: I hate sounding redundant, so I really like thinking things out. I won't post if I feel like I'm being inadequate. >>;

My actual writing style is heavily influenced by Brian Jacques, whose writing tends to have a sort of whimsical tone most of the time. I both love and hate classical English, and some may notice that I tend to use older grammar structures and/or wording. I like putting quite a bit of detail; almost too much, sometimes.

4. Characters
I'll play just about any type of character. I tend towards female characters in general, but prefer those with strong personalities. I do feel like I have one too many at this point, but so many RPers have male characters, so I feel obligated to end the sausage fest. I'm also kind of bad at RPing guys for whatever reason; I'm probably just out of practice. That, and my guy characters are either FABULOUS or MANLY.

While most chaps prefer the hero role, I'll actively volunteer to play the villain. Most of my characters are what I like to call 'grey' (neutral) rather than a straight up 'white' (good) hero or 'black' (evil) villain. The same goes with my baddies. They're evil and all in their own right, but often have characteristics that could render them potentially 'good,' or at least 'neutral.' I like to think that it gives them a little more humanity. As much as I love evil, twisted, maniacal antagonists, they do become very cliched and shallow after awhile. Depth is a wonderful thing, folks. Not everybody can be pure-______.

5. Ratings
I prefer PG-13, specifically. As much as I like gore and sex, it's really kind of unnecessary. I mean, I love character interaction and all, but is it really necessary to have a topic just made for John and Mary making love? I think not. If you want to love, do it on your own time; we don't need to see it. That's private stuff. PG-13 allows for some decent flirtation, some pretty good gore, and swearing. That's about all that I really want. Oh, and it allows for same-sex relationships.

5. Ideal RP partner
Somebody with a similar thought process and doesn't mind giving/receiving input and critique. It's awesome to scheme relationships between our characters, as well as plan out things in advance. I'm not very picky about RP partners.

6. Peeves
I hate control freaks, people who don't read, bad grammar, short posts, ambiguous posts, powerplaying/godmoding, Mary-Sues/Gary Stus, arrogant assholes, false intellectuals, idiots, n00bz, waaaaaambulances... The list goes on. >>;

Oh, and I really hate people who can't take criticism. We're trying to help; if you can't take the heat, GTFO. You CLEARLY don't care enough about improving yourself as a writer to swallow your pride and actually try considering that you MIGHT be wrong.

It gives history to the original MGH story, so I guess that's my 'inspiration.'

I've been...uncharacteristically stressed as of late. I'm usually not the kind of person who likes to seriously go on griping rants of doom and despair online, but I guess there's a breaking point for everyone, amirite? So yeah. I've kind of hit that point. No, I'm not going to be all "i haet u im leavin". Nope. None of that from me. I'm staying, but I'd just like to say that I probably won't be posting/uploading/etc. as much, like, anywhere, until I lose some stress and get myself back in order.

I am tired, depressed, lacking muse, and just feeling absolutely unmotivated to the most absolute sense. Anyway, as we all know, some stupid thing known as the H1N1 virus, aka the SWINE FLU is going around right now, and people are all freaking out about it, right?

So yeah, I got sick. But not from swine flu, so yeah, none of that OMG QUARANTINE YOU'RE PART OF THE PANDEMIC nonsense. It's just an ordinary cold. Nothing big.

It started last Thursday - go figure. Friggin' Thursdays are the bane of all humanity, I swear. I got a slight sore throat and complained about it all through Friday and Saturday, where it started getting worse. I was tired, and I was coughing and sneezing all over the place. Well, not really ALL over the place, but I was sneezing enough to know that they weren't just random 'dust tickled mah nose' sneezes, and I was coughing more than usual (I have chronic cough).

...anyway, I KNEW I was sick by Sunday (I was in complete denial for the previous days, lolz), and on Monday, I KNEW the cold truck had come by and hit me. It ran me over all through Tuesday, and Wednesday, it finally got off me. So it's Thursday now. I think I'm well enough to go to class again, though I'm a little reluctant to. I'm still tired as hell, and I've got quite a bit of mucus left over. At least I'm not suffocating on it anymore. >> Now THAT wasn't fun.

So yeah, I slept almost through Monday and Tuesday, and it wasn't until yesterday that I really got up and moved around without feeling dizzy or groggy. My highest temperature was 98.8. LOL You people are probably thinking "LOLWUT THAT'S NOT A FEVER YOU IDIOT. YOU'RE A HYPOCHONDRIAC."

...and actually, for me, it would be. For you guys, that'd be a 101.2 degree fever. My normal body temperature is around 95.6 degrees. It's a funny thing that runs in my dad's side of the family; low body temperature. In short, when we get high fevers, WE BURN.

Just a little update for my IRL friends, anyway.

For my OL chaps, I haven't been on as much due to this. That, and my internet's been a real weenie as of late. I think it caught a bug, too, and it's been slow as hell lately. I have trouble getting on during high-traffic times. We're hoping to get it fixed soon, 'cos my mom can't work without the internet. Soon as it gets cleared up, though, I'll be back posting and stuff. It's too much of a pain to wait on 20 minute page loads. T_T

So yeah, that's about it. I finished CV: Dawn of Sorrow (most of it, anyway; saving for the last battle), and got about a third way through CV: Portrait of Ruin. It's about the only thing I've really 'accomplished' while I was sick. Mindless bashing is good for a bored soul. XD

She and Aeo would probably discuss the drinks, with Cehn putting occasional input and comments in on the side. Not terribly interesting.

Yeah, got back at 4AM this morning, waking up to a cramped ankle and my brother's butt in my face. T_T One of the cars parked in the driveway wouldn't start, so we had to climb out of the van and walk back inside in a light drizzle. T_T It's a lot wetter here than I remember. AZ was friggin' dry and happy all the time.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANYWAY, I found out that I only dream DURING VACATIONS, WTF.

Oh yeah, and happy belated New Year...and here comes my huge long New Year's ramble.

So, I think I've gotten a lot better this year. I've kind of forced myself into TRYING to be a better person and stuff - the usual... pick less fights, be more open, study more, draw better, etc. I don't think I've done terribly, but I mightn't have done as well as I liked. I didn't make a resolution; I missed midnight 'cos I was picking fishbones from a mess of cat food from a rice cooker at that time. ...so many damn fish... T_T

Q: Thank you for taking the time to do this interview with us,(Halo). Would you like to introduce yourself?
A: Not at all; I'm very pleased to be here. I am Halo Anne-Marie of Elden's House Lierageren.

Q: Well, we're very glad to have you here. So tell us, do you have any special interests, hobbies, or abilities?
A: I would say my interests are traveling and spending time with my close companion, Aeorys, and helping the needy. I suppose you could also call it a hobby. As for abilities... I would say the use of magic, fencing, and equestrianism to be my most practiced.

Q: So, your childhood, tell us a little about that.
A: I will tell you now that being the only daughter of a noble house has not at all proven to be an easy way of life. Since I was a child, I have been instructed in magic, fencing, archery, equestrianism, music - mostly singing, ballroom dancing, accounting and the management of business, etiquette, history, language, culture, government, economy, geography-- oh, I can't even begin to remember all of it. To top it off, I entered the paladin academy at the age of twelve and learnt military strategy, combat, and religion. As you might say, it was 'lessons, lessons, lessons.'

Q: Could you tell us a little more about your family?
A: My father and mother were both of noble birth. Lierageren is my father's surname; my mother's maiden name was Noirell. Father is a businessman, and my mother is his accountant and advisor. I consider myself very fortunate to have parents on equal terms.

Q: I see. Have you ever fallen in love?
A: ...yes... I have played with the idea of romance several times, and my relationship with Aeorys has been, so far, the longest. However, it will only be a matter of time... I have been engaged since the age of six to the son of my father's business friend, Rayell L'Karr.

Q: If so, could you describe your love interest(s) in detail and what it was that attracted you to them?
A: ...I would have never dreamed of loving a woman, though I was at fault for thinking Aeorys a man when first we met. She...she was...so different. I-It's...difficult to describe. A sort of pure, refreshing feeling, I suppose you could call it, though she was as frank and vulgar and uneducated as any I had ever seen. I think it was loneliness that kept me beside her; her loneliness and mine, and a mutual understanding from all that we experienced together. If...If I had the choice, I would wish to travel with her forever.

Q: If you could have an ideal lover, what would s/he be like?
A: Aeorys. [laugh]

Q: Is that so? Have you ever experienced or witnessed any events during your lifetime that you would consider memorable or particularly notable?
A: ...several, though I'm loathe to share specifics. Those moments most important to me are private and personal.

Q: Interesting. What are your plans for the future?
A: I hope to spend as much time as possible with Aeo. I cannot escape the marriage arranged for me; I can only hope to stall it.

Q: Do you intend to have children? (Or if you already have children, do you intend to have more?)
A: ...I do love children, but...

Q: Thank you for taking the time to do this interview with us,(Rhaelia). Would you like to introduce yourself?
A: Glad to be here. I am Empress Rhaelia Quessin-Mernard, formerly Countess Quessin. My mercenary alias is Aeorys Kirru, which is often abbreviated as simply 'AK.'

Q: Well, weÂre very glad to have you here. So tell us, do you have any special interests, hobbies, or abilities?
A: I specialize in the practice of dark arcana and dual-bladed swordplay, both skills which I acquired from my parents' tutelage. I am able to control a mass of dark tendrils at will.

Q: So, your childhood, tell us a little about that.
A: I am the elder child of a minor noble house. My homeland, Quessin, is located in a mountainous region in the northwestern corner of the land. The province no longer exists, however, and I have not returned to it since its fall.

Q: Could you tell us a little more about your family?
A: I was born to a family of four. My father was the son of the previous Count. He was a very gentle, peaceful man who enjoyed practicing magic as a hobby rather than for necessity. On the other hand, my mother was strict and strong-willed. She was a powerful swordsmaster from an eastern province. My brother was four years my junior. I am the only remaining member of my family: my mother killed my father and later committed suicide; my brother was slain by archers during the takeover.

Q: I see. Have you ever fallen in love?
A: Regrettably, yes, and more than once.

Q: If so, could you describe your love interest(s) in detail and what it was that attracted you to them?
A: Reiyet Mernard...is the most infuriating man in the world. And I love him. I am still uncertain as to how he managed to capture my heart.

Q: If you could have an ideal lover, what would s/he be like?
A: Preferably someone quiet and understanding who thinks before acting. I would prefer a man, but I have no qualms with having a relationship with another woman.

Q: Is that so? Have you ever experienced or witnessed any events during your lifetime that you would consider memorable or particularly notable?
A: No. However, I believe it would be safe to assume that what I see as 'memorable' would not follow the same standards as your own.

Q: Interesting. What are your plans for the future?
A: Uncertain. The country is still unstable. I can only hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Q: Do you intend to have children? (Or if you already have children, do you intend to have more?)
A: I have one daughter - Rhaeis. Even I cannot deny our resemblance; she takes after her father, unfortunately. I would prefer not to burden myself any further with children at this time.

Like all minorities, those of the LGBTQ community - also referred to as gay, queer, rainbow, etc. - are discriminated against in one way or another because they differ from the norm.

Homosexual relationships don't only occur in California, or only America - it happens everywhere, and every day, these individuals suffer. They suffer because they cannot love who they want; they suffer because they are afraid to love who they wish. Love is a defining emotion, brought to life by the hands of humans in the most creative, most heartfelt ways. It's stressed so much nowadays, but what does it really mean? Does love necessarily have to come between only a man and a woman? Only of two people of the opposite sex?

No. It doesn't.

It doesn't matter who you love, as long as you love them, and will love them as long as you are able. Why do I say able? Because the members of the LGBT community are less fortunate in this aspect. They may be able, physically, but mentally. Mentally, are they really able and willing? When the world is out and against them? What would you feel like if just holding the hand of someone you loved made the world glare at you with hate and disapproval? Made everyone and everything oppose you at every given opportunity? I guarantee that most of you would cower and duck your heads, find the nearest place to hide and hope to rot there from shame. From fear. From sorrow.

It does not matter if a man wishes to love another man, or if a woman wishes to love another woman. Gender is irrelevant. Take a moment to honestly consider what it would be like loving someone you could never marry. Who you could only see, but never touch. Who you would honestly cry for inside from the ache of being separated by the world you live in. You aren't strong enough. You aren't brave enough. You aren't open-minded enough. Every breakthrough begins with a wall and ends with a strong, united people willing to break it down. As long as it takes, we will demolish the barrier; we only need your support. All it takes is one vote. One tiny dot on the ballot.

Please help us. Please help the LGBT community by voting against Proposition 8 in the upcoming November 2008 ballot. Already hundreds of gay couples have married, and to have their bond broken by written words is beyond unspeakable tragedy. What if you could not marry the one you loved? How would you feel?

If I cannot convince you, then let this video speak for me. Speak for the entire rainbow community and its allies and supporters. Let it speak for the freedom of marriage, and let it open your heart. There is no moral barrier in love; there are only closed minds.
