Baked for Dad's birthday - a gluten-free Almond Roca cheesecake. :) Making pulled-pork slow-cooker sandwiches for him for dinner, too, because he asked for them again.

Going back to Nebraska on Tuesday, first thing in the morning. It seems that Washington is set to have the worst weather for that day, which is odd, as I'm coming through Denver for my connecting flight. Here's hoping it stays that way!

Otherwise, not much else to write! Been spending as much time as I can with Rica (Klork), really. :) Need to head over there again on Monday.

Snow on October 10th. I think that's the earliest I've seen snow since moving here to Nebraska.

There comes a time when being sick is just ... annoying. XP

I seem to have a cold now. And after all that's been going on the last few weeks with my health, it just feels like it's the additional kick while I'm already down.

Still waiting on the CT scan results. Also waiting on the hospital to call me back and schedule the heart tests. Thinking about seeing my own doctor again to see if the weird muscle spasms I have in my HEAD are the work of my iron deficiency sending my muslces into riots, or something else.

Don't get me wrong; I don't thinks it's "too much," exactly. I just think it's "too much at once." There IS a difference. :)

So far, things are going amazingly well with my replacement organ. Through all this time, I've only had to change pill doses minimal times, and only had a few other chronic auto-immune diseases pop up in concurance with the transplant.

All in all, things are going remarkably good for me. :) I'm married, I have a house, I have my two boys (kitties, yes, but they're still spoiled rotten) ... and my (relative) health. XD

The AirForce decided that the move wasn't worth the risk to my healthcare and cancelled my husband's orders.

Yes, we're moving again. XP Husband's been restationed to Hurlburt in NW Florida, and we're due to be there in a month.

All things going as planned, that is. Still waiting to see if all my medical stuff has cleared. Otherwise, there's not much going on here but getting ready.

Bought myself a drawing tablet, as you can see from some of my WIP pieces. Haven't had the time to even work on that at all. Well, I suppose that's a small lie. But I have other things I could - and should - be doing, so I just haven't colored it.

Bought :iconklork: a tablet, too! XD She should be getting some really awesome things up soon, and then we'll be starting something quite special. Hee!

Keep an eye on her, she's amazing! And hopefully I'll get more things up and going once we're settled in our new place in Florida.

Then I actually have a reason to start drawing again. I haven't done anything in a very, very long time now, and I miss doing it.

I was really hoping to pick up a scanner (one of decent quality) a while back, but things have been a little crazy around here.

Buying a house can do that.

So once things settle down with the house purchase and the moving in (which will take place sometime in August) I'll try to get around to picking up a scanner. Never did get around to scanning those other things and putting them up here. We don't have a scanner here yet -- we just got a printer. So it may be some time before I'm able to put anything up on the sight again that isn't text.

Work's been keeping me insanely busy, actually. And it looks like it's going to continue that way. This morning I was supposed to have worked at 8:00 - which would have meant trying to work around my sister getting ready for school - but they changed my schedule yesterday afternoon. I'll be working Communcation Central today ... in other words, answering phones and transfering calls. So it's only a four hour shift, versus an eight hour. But they added on two additional eight hour shifts this weekend.

I have no clue when my next day off is. Next week's schedule hasn't come out yet. It should be out today. But with all the glitches they've been coming across in the office, who knows?

I really have a heck of a lot more things I want to put up here. I just haven't had the time. When I am home to do anything, the computer is occupied the entire night by my dad. Makes things a little complicated.

This computer is so jacked.

So I'll have to re-scan them. Only problem with that is the quality of the pictures from that scanner. My SISTER'S scanner works better, but there's no way I'm going to head into her room to try and use it. I'd never come out alive.

That's why the Kameko picture I have up right now looks so poor. :( Stupid scanner. But what can I do? Gotta put the pictures up! So I'll have to go about that sometime later. I think I'm done with the computer for now.
