Indeed, it has been awhile, again. I am sorry to say, and hope you will forgive me for this second lapse. The time of grief has not yet passed for me- but I grow stronger and stronger with each day. I am glad to have been able to finally attend to this section of DA- for this club is NOT dead...

There is a MULTITUDE of new members this go around! I've never been so excited to see so many new faces! I am so very glad for all the newcomers- I hope you will enjoy the club everyone, and once again- sorry for taking so long to respond over your requests of enterance!!!

Our Old Information

It has been a long time since I have been able to update. I'd like to apologize now. I think you should know that my father's death was the cause of this lapse in updates. However, I am steadly getting better, and believe that doing things I enjoy, DA and writing, will help me get better. So now I am back, and I hope to stay!

Meanwhile, we've got a lot of updates to gush over! We've got quite a few members added in, as well as another affialiate! All of our new members had to wait for a long time before I responded to them, so a special call out is in order! It is also our largest number of new members, ever! A full thirteen were added today! Thank you everyone for the wonderful turnout!!!

The giftart for Ancient Aeris is halfway finished. The lineart has been completed by me, and soon I will have it colored, whenever I can find the time to do so!!!

There is some new fanart that I will add shortly, and you can all see! I hope that everyone remembers to NOT favorite posted art, it is rude to the artist!!! Thank you!!!

Please remember that we are all here for fun!!! If you see someone posting Aeris/Cloud fanart, don't hesitate to offer them a chance at our club!!! The more members we have, the more fun things we can accomplish!!!

After some serious, consideration, I have officially removed ~Ancientaeris from our Administrator listing. I have changed the official email address and everything. She, having founded this club, has done something I couldn't have done! She started this club, and from here on, I will continue it.

She was dutiful, and a wonderfully kind person! She was as devoted as any of us when it came to Aeris and Cloud, and her contribution to this club will never be forgotten.

In honor of her memory (although she hasn't died, but has not been heard from in 5 months), I will personally make a parting gift art to her!

If there is anything you'd like to say, please feel free to note me, and we can discuss this! Thank you, ~Ancientaeris, you'll never be forgotten!!!

We've finally added our second contest entry! It's rather lovely, by one of our "senior" members! I daresay we'll have a tough time choosing which one we like the best between our entries ^_^

We're in the process of adding more members, but unfortunately we cannot simply add members without notes! Please try to remember to send us notes to join. It can get bothersome to send notes out to several different people simply because they haven't note'ed us to join! We are ALWAYS willing to accept members, but you have to NOTE us first, thank you ^_^

We've added some of our very first fanarts- all of which are coming from me, =LukyLady123! I hope everyone enjoys them and doesn't fave the previews- you'll be missing quite a bit if you do!!! It's a great time for me to remind everyone that you can always have your pictures sent in for added advertisement!

With any luck these fanarts will mark the beggining to a great time here at ~AerisandCloudfan! I hope to see even more entries soon!

I have EXTENDED the DEADLINE, please READ the new information!!!

It's high time we started getting in on some work for our club, so we are going to start off with our contest. You can expect there to be around 4 a year, maybe more! For this go around we will make the contest submission time period sort'va short, so that we can get to some ven more fun things :-D

Contest Starts: June 3, 2005

Contest Ends: SEPTEMBER 23, 2005

Voting: September 23th through 30th

Contest Topic: Since our club is just now getting off on it's feet, our first contest will be to make a Deviant Art ID for the club! There is a huge range of things you can draw, although, because it is a club dedicated to Cloud and Aeris, it will be a little strange to have an ID with Tifa and Cloud on it, understand? You can do anything you want for the ID, just so long as it has Cloud, Aeris, or BOTH. Please keep in mind that if yo have both characters your going to be very well loved :-D

Notes: The date for the final submissions HAS been extended!!! I want to thank all of you who turned in their submissions beforehand! We have not forgotten you, I am very glad to see your pictures!!!

RULES

(Please read all our rules before starting your entry)

1). The picture must be your own, unless you are given permission, in which case, the original artist and a link to the image must be provided (so we can speak to the artist personally to verify).

2). No contest entry can have any nudity unless otherwise specified.

3). Any picture you draw MUST have Aeris or Cloud. Having other characters, so long as it doesn't have any romantic themes between our favorite couple :-D

4). All images must be allowed to be reproduced (with due credit of course) as a deviation for the club. This is to draw more members as well as advertise and show case your art a second time :-D

Misc...

Our two entries are looking good, I can't decide which I like better. I think what i'll do is have a voting on the images, only counted on the submitted pictures for the club... That'll be best, I think!!!
