This release includes Geometrica, the mesh generator for Incendia.

Among the new features that I have included in this release, is a Mandelbrot set (experimental!), Quaternionic Kleinians, many new baseshapes, a lot of new random fractal generators,  JPG, PNG, GIF and TIFF support for textures, dmaps, backgrounds and surface maps, several bug fixes, and many other things :faint:

Hello,

Many requested me about the animations that I have recently rendered using Incendia EX.
Since Incendia only render the image frames, you must assemble them on other software.
There are zillions of programs for assembling videos, but for formats like Animated Gif and Animated PNG, there are very little.

Here are the facts, the tools and the procedure that I follow with some examples:

Animated GIF:
Pros, Small files, faster load times, and there are a lot of tools for making them.
Cons, Only 256 colors! and just one transparency level.

The first release of Incendia EX IV  is now available at Incendia.Net
There are several new features on  Incendia, (such as real time animation preview, and neon baseshapes) and I consider this first release as a test.  Next release will have better features (The GPU version, for example, the engine is ready, but i need to finish the porting of the fractal types to it, also need to add the transformation support to the animations).

I have included a little program called Quilts, that generates an infinite amount of Square Quilt attractors. you can use them for texturing as well as desktop backgrounds.

ps. If you ask about why theres not an escapetime generator on Incendia, thats because  I often found the IFS algorithms strangely attractive, so I move very little away from them..:D

There's a new release of Incendia 1.5 on Incendia.net

This release is a bug fix version of the first Incendia release.

The bugs fixes are:
1. The baseshape editor browser bug (sometimes not showing the right baseshape).
2. The strange open file dialog that appeared on the baseshape Array control.
3. The Maximize and Minimze bug. On some systems, when Incendia was minimized and maximized, it showed nothing but a black window.

I also made few changes on the append baseshape option and added some new files (mostly dmaps and textures).

I have uploaded to the server the second iteration of Incendia EX, this time centered on colors (as you have seen many coloured renders in my lastests posts).
I'm very tempted to release it as v1.4 but it doesn't have all the features that I have planned, but most probably the next iteration will become Incendia 1.4.

When I originally designed Incendia, there were a lot of features that I had added to the program, features such as gradient colouring, transparencies, mesh exports and the like..

Finally I have finished the coding of Incendia 1.3 :faint:
Now I'm just creating the support files, such as meshes, textures, backgrounds, gradients, examples and dmaps..
If all is right, then I will release it to donors and friends :D
This version has a lot of new stuff..such as mesh imports, two types of transparencies, surface textures for the baseshapes, new fractals, new controls for the baseshapes and new shaders, such as soft shadows and  better interpolation methods.. also there's a lot of improvements on the speed and in the iterations (theres a new iteration algorithm)

I have uploaded the version 1.2.1 of Incendia to the  website
This version has many bug fixes of version 1.2 (most of the in the multiprocessor code, since I have coded it on a single processor computer).
Also, I have incorporated gradients to the texture browser (be sure to scroll down, since they are at the botton) and added several new commands to the Incendia Script interpreter.

Important notice to donors:I will begin to send to you the Hi-Rez version of 1.2.1, since I consider that now this version is stable.

I will finish and release next Incendia as soon as I return from a volunteer work (helping the people of an island).
This version has many new features, such as gradients, scripts and the like (it was very hard to code, due to computer limitations, but anyways, I almost finish it)..there are some previews on my scraps section of DeviantArt.

This version of Incendia has many new features and a lot of bug fixes.
Among new features there are:
- New Look, because of people complaining me about the brightness and contrast of the old look
- Color buttons for the material editor.
- New baseshapes.
- New Fractals (Julia III, Spherical Kleinians, Stellarnions, Hyperbolic Tessellations, The Mira Attractor)
- New render type (Drawing).
- Shadowed render control (for generating unshadowed renders, for example)
- Improved speed
- Alpha channels (32bit images)

A for me, I'm now in a little room (now I have Internet! :)), still no work, but a company have called me for a work in september (is summer here and most companies are closed), so I only need to survive in this summer, how?, no idea, but perhaps next time that you open your door to the pizza guy, perhaps you will receive a pizza on where every pepperoni is in reality a small red copy of the whole pizza, that in turn have very little pepperoni's that are in reality very little pizzas.. and so on..

I have uploaded Incendia Beta 1 to my website
This beta fixes many things, such as Windows Crys.. Vistas problems (I'm still hunting for the infamous flickering problem..no way to reproduce it here :|).
Also, in this version the Save and Load parameters and Material buttons are fixed and enabled :)
(still need to enable the save buffers, next beta, is a promise!)

If all goes well, I will add more fractals and baseshapes in the next beta release. In this one I have concentrated my efforts in making it workeable for vista and only three baseshapes are added.

Fractal Hextiles
I have coded a little fractal program for creating seamless hexagonal backgrounds, its on my web page: Fractal Hextiles
