Secondly: This is entirely anti-climatic. Miguel is a cork company, or something to do with corks that harvest bark from trees. When the trees grow back, they absorb Co2 from the air. So, what is this? It's a goddamn anti-pollution fund. So after all this wondering.... it's something that has been said multiple times.

But, on a lighter side, they advise drinking more wine to fund the Miguel project! They provide the corks and get the money for it.

So, as a summary for this let-down: Stop pollution; drink alcohol.

Okay, so recently in The Age (on Tuesday 29th, actually), three weird ads appeared, each saying 'Save Miguel', and as the pages went on, the ads became less climatic. Well, as of 6:35pm on July 18, my little budgerigar Charlie II, died last night. The cause we believe to be a disease. He died in my hands, with his last moments, he proved to me his dire love for me. Refusing to leave my hand, and squeezing my finger gently. It was a complete shock, of which I still haven't found to properly get over.
We're burying him in the flower beds with his favorite balls, toys and his shell grit bell, which he would sleep on, and use as comfort. I will always miss him, but his soul will be wandering around me, and soon reincarnated as either another pet of mine, or someone else's to love and enjoy.

Today, we went out and found a new little bird. A Cockatiel. We can't figure out if he's a Lutino or a Fallow, or even his gender (though we believe its male). But now matter, he's very beautiful. His name is Zeke. I plan to love him just as much, if not more, than Charlie. A new cage, a new bird, a new chapter in my life. I have pictures of Charlie, and some of his most beautiful feathers. But those, I shall keep only as reminders. Not to dwell in the past.

I've been doing my best to make Zeke comfortable, and to get him used to his surroundings and me. (He stepped on my finger!). I've been playing music for him, to help, and whistling. He seems to be enjoying it quite a lot.

Okay guys, despite the condition of my thumb, I'm going to host a competition!

Well guys, I've kept it under my hat for a while, but its gotten too bad.

I'm going to have to stop drawing for a while, because of a bad thumb. The doctor says its a 'nodule in the tendon.' and I'm going off to have an X-ray and Ultrasound on Monday.

So yeah, hopefully it'll got very soon and I can draw again, its absolute torment not being able to.

If I feel they're good enough, I may post a story or two, to fill the void.

The Rules of this "Tagging Game"

1. I hate crowds. If I'm in a shopping centre, I'm in an out as soon as I can, otherwise I go pale and become VERY defensive.

3. My eyes change colour constantly throughout the day. They can be blue, aqua, grey or forest green.

4. When I'm reading, I cross my right left over my left and shake my right foot constantly. Like a dog's tail when it's happy.

5. I like banana flavoured things, but hate eating bananas themselves.

6. As the day progresses, I create many words. My two most remembered are Genadness (The line between being a genius and madness) and Dyslegsic (A lack of legs).

Internet is still out of it. And I probably won't get it for months to come. We're in a queue, waiting for broadband to be freed around our area... arseholes. It could be days, weeks, months, or my luck, years before I can get it again.

On Monday, it was thus, that our backroom caught on fire. Yes, which explains my extremely cliche title.
We'd just turned the AC on when we smelt a burning. I walked out to see if anyone else knew what was going on. Mum walked to the back room and opened the door, well, it turns out that a battery exploded in its charger and caught flames on a plane, which thus, fell on to the carpet.
Suffice to say, everything was fine. Aside from the desk... and the carpet.
Took about 2-3 hours to properly clean the soot off the doors, floors, sinks and desks... (which were mucked up again overnight since the rest of the soot settled.)

You know you're a nerd whenthere's smoke coming in from arsehole to breakfast, and all you think is Shit, there goes my books. Heh. Dragonlance: Redemption is smudged, but thats the only book that was. Of course you know it was MY possesion afterall. Fair dinkum.


WEll, a little bit of fun I had on New Years Day. Mum and I went to see Night at the Museum, which we thought was quite alright. In anycase, this taxi driver comes up and asks "Where is McDonalds?" Well, its a public holiday of course. So, I pointed where it was, and walked off.
He asked where it was. Not, actually, if it was open.

I've been playing alot of games, seeing its all I can do with no books to read (I've read them all, they haven't burnt). Current games consist of: Morrowind, Oblivion, Call of Duty 2 and NeverWinter Nights 2.

I've moved house recently and thought I could bypass it without any noticable absense. Well.... no.

The internet is still down and unconnected to my computer and stuff, so I won't be drawing for quite some time it would appear, as I had to reformat aswell and can't find my photoshop.

In anycase... Myst, Myst and more Myst is what I've been accomplishing lately. Finished Uru, came close to finishing Myst IV. Gonna try Myst 1 sooner or later, and hope to god it just bloody works.

Died alone, no one around to be with me, to say goodbye.
