We know we did not update you guys with a post-pcc journal, so we will take the time to do a small one now!

We cosplayed as Fenris and Hawke all weekend long, to test out the costumes. We learned alot and IMPROVED ALOT. Ended up restyling the Fenris wig, adding fur to Hawke's belt and reattaching all our armor properly. These costumes are now fool proof!

Friday was the arrival day, and pretty much that was it. XD ConNichiwa is a smaller con, so we didn't plan to go to any programming (not that we do usually.) This convention was pretty much Flawless!

This had to be one of our favorite cons. So much fun, so much cosplay, so much epic--we're getting ahead of ourselves.

Thursday, we reunited for the first time in Two months, and spent the night putting finishing touches on a the last cosplay of the weekend. We went to bed happy, and woke up super early for staff meetings (sheila wasin charge of the Cosplay Cafe with her Kissu girls)!

A thousand and one words to describe how incredible of an experience this years, and our first, Anime Expo was. That's right, this was our first Expo and it was amazing! As a cosplayer, we have come to find out that half of cosplaying is photography.

So you want to cosplay your character right? And you buy the wig or dye your hair, cut it, put in contacts, do your makeup, spend a fortune on convention tickets. Not to mention MAKE by hand; your entire costume and props.

Then you go to your convention, you strut around prideful, maybe gain a lot of admirers and friends. Suddenly a friendly con-goer asks to take your photo, you say yes, and they take out their disposable camera and.... FEAR THE FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY. :sprint:

As you all know, Sheila and I (Ba77ousai and I, Shirley and I) cosplay couples from various Manga and Anime. But what you may not know is that she and I are in fact dating.

We've been together for a bit of time now and really enjoy each other's company (enough to make a joint account). Our relationship with each other reflects our relationship as cosplayers. The fact that we are together, allows our cosplaying much more versatility, intimacy, and enjoyment.

Finding a significant other who will cosplay with you opens a whole world of cosplaying opportunities and experiences. Of course, these are not always good experiences. Sheila: But on Cosplay.com people call me Ba77ousai and him Emperor Sarcasm.

:bulletpurple: How many years have you cosplayed?

Sylar: Just two.
Sheila: Only three.

:bulletpurple: How did you get into cosplaying?

Sylar: I went to an AnimeFest with my friend Ale and saw people cosplaying. When I got serious about it, Sheila helped me start.
Sheila: I went to my first convention and saw a cosplayer who looked exactly like the character she dressed as -- it made me want to try it!
