In other news, my brother, who has just recently graduated from Pomona College, has signed up for a part-time job to be a math tutor at my college. I'm sure he'll be a great tutor.

Also, I saw the teaser for the Avatar movie on Youtube, and God DAMNIT, they actually put EFFORT into the Avatar teaser! Great, they sucked me in like the teaser for the American versin of Godzilla sucked in the Nostalgia Critic. Oh well, it started toget sucky after I watched it a few times over... actually, I think it REALLY sucks. Please movie makers, if you're gonna put this out, TRY to give us a good movie; we fans have had so many disappointments in the past, so we don't need Hollywood dropping the big one on us... but I guess thats asking too much from those guys. 9_9

Good News- I just got the new Sims 3 and I am enjoying to play. I've already created a character. His name is Emo (and yes, he is) Kangai. He's currently working as a podium polisher at City Hall, but I hope to have him one day become a motivational songwritier (i.e. Bob Dylan type).

Now, from talking to this person, he says that he actually HAS gay friends. Now don't get me wrong, I have friends who don't believe in gay marraige either, and even though I don't agree with them, none of them would've been so spiteful and close minded as this person here with out thinking of his own friends. That's like saying you have black friends and you don't support them being black or support integration and in protest, you go walking around with a noose in your hand without thinking how it might effect your black friends. Free speech is one thing, but when that speech ends up harming another's freedom, thats another.

Now I got to ask, besides religous purposes and gay stigma, why are some people against gay people and them having the same rights as we do?

Well, I wanted to be a good citizen and vote no on the amendment so my gay friends won't have to suffer, but it turns out, according to my address, that I'm not a citizen of Ganesville; I live in a county IN Gainesville, but I'm not part of the CITY of Gainesville. Thats just stupid! I attend college in the city; I should be able to vote!

Well, I hope for everyone's sake this amendment doesn't get passed.

I then tried to appologize to the artist through an e-mail, promising to take the shawdy artwork down after acceptance of my appology, but she never replied. I thought to myself that I must've been such a hideous troll to tick her off so much and that there was no way that I could redeme myself.

Then, I was looking at the artist's stamps and realized that this person was COMPLETELY different from me. She, being a mostly right-wing, Pro-Life, Yaoi-Hating, Born-Again Christian who thinks that being gay was a choice, and me, a mostly left-winged Libertarian, Pro-Choice (not Pro-Abortion), Loves watching Yaoi Hentai, Agnostic who believes being gay is something that is determined by your DNA. There was no WAY we could agree on anything. I didn't need her's or anyone elses redemption; I could redeme myself! Oh, thank you which ever being controls the Universe if there is one!

So, I decided to take down the artwork in "respect" for the artist (and to not get in trouble with the dA board) and am moving along.

Now would you excuse me, I've going to go off to watch some Kingdom Hearts/Quest for Camelot Yaoi Hentai while I'm off voting for whoever thinks gay fetuses should have the freedom to do whatever they want while not bothering anyone elses rights.

First, I often DID worry about Meredith Larue coming out as a Mary-Sue. Due take in mind though, that most of the story is certered around Jojo's thoughts and views and since he has strong feeling to Meredith and is young and new at the idea of love, of course he would see her as this "Goddess" to worship. Other than that, there isn't much to sugguest that Meredith it this perfect being to worship and in truth, could show more developement in other stories (other stories maybe possible, bit it all depends on my mood and if you want more stories).

Next, were the issue concerning "realism". I know its nearly impossible to learn sign language in a day and your hearing to all of a sudden come back after you go deaf, but remember that this is the world of Seuss and for all we know, whos could have the capacity to learn knew languages that quickly and I was also using the "gaining hearing back after going deaf" theme as a symbolic meaning of spiritual healing for Jojo. Heck, if everything in this story were to be close to reality, Jojo would probalby be able to get a cochlear implant just after losing his hearing and quite frankly, there wouldn't be any whos at all to tell the story.

And of course, there was the issue about the "phone" in the last chapter. Meredith doesn't have a phone, she has a TELETYPE; its like a text message phone for people who can't hear or talk. Read the sentence again, and then you'll understand how Jojo would "call" home.

I've got the Horton Hears a Who! 2 disc DVD. I was watching some of the deleted scenes, nothing particularly inspiring, though I didn't see why they thought the alternate ending should be cut out.

In a sense, I can understand where this guy is coming from, people get married to gods and deities all the time (they're called nuns), but than again, it is pretty sad that this guy can only find a fictional character to love.
