Been reading "The Pillars of the Earth". Picked it up at the airport last time I got here from leave! Yup, it's enormous and I heard about it on Oprah of all places, but it's a great book! It's about the building of a cathedral during the dark ages of medieval England, and it has all the evil-plotting of the dark ages! Love it!

On another subject, the Nikon D40 has dropped to just about 300 euros! Wish I had that in cash! I'm decided that I should go dSLR some time ago and it seems a great opportunity.. Oh well, maybe I can get a friend of mine to sell me his Seems that now that I am away, everybody wants to do a photoshoot for fun and it'd be nice to have it!

I've given up on watching dA from the net cafes.. No fun whatsoever! Hopefully in two weeks' time I'll be at the ease of my home.. Maybe I'll get comfy enough to produce some images already..

As from the 11th of August on for one year I'm in the army!

The sky was overcast and the light coming from the windowpane of this small uni student house of hers was giving everything a dream-like look! Went back to the car to get my little compact digital camera and she kindly offered to model for me in that light!

I really need a dSLR.. Those silly compacts are no good when it comes to shooting indoors..

Sorry when I'm not commenting as much as I'm faving.. I know it can be frustrating.. Most of the times I don't find anything more than "Great work" to say, so I skip even that. Depends on my mood I guess..

Still, I'm having a great time.


PS: Anybody else has seen DA hogging their browser lately? It's sending my FireFox to 300-500MB of RAM usage after a bit of browsing.. Guess the whole new Javascript is not fine-tuned yet and leaks memory somewhere.. Anyway I can deal with that by manually closing the process from the task manager and restarting
