Well, I'm back from Kumori-con. Here's the journal I wrote in the Death note I bought there .

Oh, btw, I was with my friend Kisa.

Kumori-con day 1: Arrival

Well the flight went well, it wasn't very long at all. We got in the airport, got our luggage, and took the shuttle to the hotel. We got to the hotel around 7am, and we were both relly tired. We fell asleep in the lobby, but one of the people who worked there woke us up and said we couldn't. That made me a little sad. After a while, Kisa started finishing up my Sora costume (I'll post pictures later), and I started talking with this girl and her brother about the con. She was fun to talk to, and was even a furry! I didn't catch her name though. After a little longer, a few more people showed up, and I started talking to them. I nicknamed the girl in the group Skull-chan, because of her earings. I met Anthony, one of the guys who was staying in my room, and talked to him for a while. Oh! The head of security, known as "Brownie", is REALLY scary when she's mad. Around 3 or so, Kisa and I went to target to get some fabric that she forgot back in Alaska, but ended up going all over the super mall and this HUGE parking lot looking for some. We ended up buying some cheap shirts from Michael's and using those. I bought some manga on the way back to the hotel. She started working again once we returned, and I did some wandering. The rest of our group showed up around 7pm, and we went to our hotel rooms. After hanging out some more, we ate some food and went to sleep. Fun day!

Kumori-con Day 2: The first Con-day!

W00t! Con-day! CRAP! No minor consent form! After waiting in line for about an hour, I had to call my dad and have him fax one in. Issue resolved. I was in my Sora costume, and Had a bunch of pictures taken of me, and got fangirls D:! The vendors hall didn't open until later, so I just wondered around until it opened. Yay for having lots of spending money and impulsive shoping! I bought lots of stuff, I feel so happy! I went to karaoke after a bit, watched people sing and I sang, and went back to the vendors hall a few times. I bought a Shinigami (Bleach) costume, and a 4th squad bag to get into the Bleach photoshoot the next day. I even bought a Death note. I got a call from my mom with news that my great-grandmother had passed away. Wasn't too upset about it, I knew it was coming. I was told I was going to Chicago (which is where I am typing this up) for her funeral once the con was over. Talk about a way to ruin the mood. Oh, I went to the gaming room and played FMA2 for a while. There was this really annoying kid who was watching me play, and thold me not to keep skipping the dialouge. Screw you kid. Screw you. He kept calling himself the "ALL POWERFUL SHADOW MAGE!!1!11" Someone give me a gun PLEASE. I went and sang some more karaoke with some friends that night, and went to my first rave! It was great fun, I did the macarana in the middle of the dance circle. I went up to the hotel room after that, and got some sleep. A little stressful at first, but it was an all around FREAKING AWSOME day.

Kumori-con Day 3: The skit!

Well, I woke up, got in my Shinigami costume, and went to the cosplay pre-meet. Team 7, the Naruto cosplay group I'm in (I play Naruto), got registered for our skit. After a long, droning lecture on the rules, my friend Aaron and I went to the Bleach photoshoot. I did his tatoo's for his Shuhei costume, and I brushed my hair for my Hanataro costume (lol). We got to the shoot, got pictures taken, and rushed off to change costumes for rehersal. After that, we went to Taco Bell for a quick bite to eat and I changed back into my Hanataro costume. Panic time! I got locked out of my room 3 MINUTES before we had to be at the contest, and ended up being a bit late. Luckily, we didn't get disqualified. Well, my drivers test is tomorrow, and I'm scared shitless. I was waking up all lastn ight, all worried and stuff, and tonight probably won't be any better. I really need to be able to drive, so I can get a job and drive to it, and attend meeting in Anchorage. So basicly, if I don't pass, it's $15 wasted, and I have to reschedual a test, which will make driving wait even longer, and a job harder to get. I really hope I pass.

[link] - According to this guy, I, along with all other furries, am the scourge of the earth. I know, I know, to each his own, but this guy is advocating violence! It's far different from just expressing your opinion. I thought I was gonna cry when I saw this website. It's got so much hate in it, it's sickening. Check it out if you want, just be warned, it's got harsh lanuage, and links to 18+ websites all over it to show how "evil" furries are. E-mail the guy if you want, he'll either come up with a short, biased, ignorant reponse, or not respond at all.

Well, I went to chicago for five days, and came back on wednesday night. The whole purpose of the rip was to see my cousin, as she was dying from cancer. We got to see her, and we talked, smiled, and laughed (she only cried a bit) for 2 and a half hours. It was a lot of fun, and good soul food to be able to see her again. We saw her a second time (my mother, aunt, and I), but she wasn't nearly the same as when we saw her the first time. She couldn't get out of her bed, and had to stay on her side so she wouldn't be in pain, facing away from us. She died this morning, Saturday, April 22, 2006. She was a great person, she loved to talk, and to travel. She hated skiing, and the cold. She came up to Alaska, and that's when I first met her, and when I have my fondest momories of her. Her name was Margaret.

My other cousin, Margaret's sister, and I were on a sled and my brother was driving the snow machine, and margaret was on the back of. We started going up a hill, when the rope connecting the sled to the snow machine snapped. Well, neither my brother or Margaret noticed, so my cousin and I were stuck at the bottom of the hill. They came and got us 20 minutes or so later, and we all had a good laugh.

Well, oddly enough, I'm not crying over this. I guess it's because I knew she was going to die, after ifghting cancer for five years. So, I must have come to terms with it somehow. I'll always keep her in my memories, and my heart. I'm more depressed about it than anything, so don't be supprised to see some of that emotion in upcoming art for a while. I guess that's all I really have to say.

Well, a couple of days ago, the korean exchange student got really mad at me for saying "You look shorter today for some reason". I did not know what I said would offend her, and it had no inetntion as to, but I guess she took it as saying "Hey, your short". Well, I talked to her today (because she refused to talk to me two days after the incident) aboutit, and she told me some stuff that really hurt me... She said I speak before I think, which, I do tend to do sometimes, but that's really just me being random and what-not. That I don't care about other peoples feelings and am very selfish. That's what really hurt me.... Mostly because I don't think it's true. I mean, why would I go and try to cheer people up all the time if I didn't care about other peoples feelings? I care a lot about other people, sometimes more than I care about myself. And if I was selfish, why would I have spent months working on a volunteer job at an Anime convention, and spend 13 hours working on the day of the actual convention? I gave up my lunch break, intermission break, and dinner break (all the breaks that I had) to be on stage and fill in for people. And also (ofr a lack of a better word she said) that I obsess over the exchange students. Well, i do partialy agree that that is a problem, but mostly it's because I really want to learn about their culture and who they are. I've only seen two exchange students outside of school, one because we are friends and I went over to her house (which was a blast. Her host family has a shooting range in their basement! AND a sauna!) and the korean exchange student at the anime convention for about... half an hour? I like to talk to them at school a lot, because it's the only chance I really ever get to see them. And she said they all felt that way... But I rarely talk to the japanese exchange student, the um... i can't remember where one of the exchange students is from, the exchange student from holland, and the exchange student from russia. I beleive there are 8 exchange students at my school, and the chinese exchange student and the korean exchange student are the only ones I ever really get to talk to, or even really know. And what the lorean exchange student said... It really hurt me a lot. She said that I was really a rude person.... And I'm not sure if that's because of the cultural differences or what. Maybe I'm too random.... and not serious enough. I don't know... She just made me fell like I was some sort of mean and evil person. And I'm pretty sure that I am not... It's just... What she said I guess.... needed more tact or something, like she was on a rant against me and stuff... I'm going to talk wit her about it, because I really don't want to just leave all this hanging in the air and stuff....

Ok... lately I've been having vision problems. Parts of my vision will just... dissapear for periods of time. Right now I don't have any peripheral vision in my right eye. I've lost bits of my vision two times before now (so this has happened three times) and it's starting to really worry me. I don't know why this is happening, my head doesn't hurt, I haven't been hit in the head at all, and I haven't been sick. It's pretty scary. I'm going to go try to see a doctor and try to find out what the heck is going on. Please send good luck my way>< this is really scary for me... for all I know I could have a brain tumor or something... I'll tell you guys any new news on the situation.

My art feels dead to me... like it's not as good as it should be. I've drawnone good picture in the last few weeks, and I can't even show it because it's on paper and I don't have a scanner. It feels like I can't draw what I feel anymore, like my art holds no meaning or emotion. Like it's just random garbage that spews out from my pencil lead. In other news... Senshi-con (the anime convention I'm working at) is one month away from next Friday, and my cosplay costume needs to be made by the person I commissioned to do it, i need to make staffs, get ready to host a Karaoke contest and the evening lottery, and get ready to do a cosplay skit with a couple of friends. I'm really nervous about the whole thing, our head of decorations comittee quit, and then this other guy was thinking about quitting... it's just really stressful. I really want it to work out.

Report cards came in the mail, my GPA dropped from a 3.333 to a 3.222 (lol)

Uhg.... I got my hair cut today, and I hate how it came out with the burning passion of hell. It used to go to my eyes, now it's about a half inch above my eyebrows. We had gone to the same place three days ago, and the lady kept the length but messed up on the sides, so we go to fix it today and this other lady just cut way too much off. What could have been fixed with a half inch lost, was "fixed" with an inch and a half lost. I would have stayed with the messed up hair personaly. So now, with my "fixed" hair i get to go to school tomorrow and revice compliments, all the while telloing them how much I hate it. HATE IT. Well, bye everyone!

My computer died again... The hard drive went kaput. My room is so quiet now.... So, I lost all my pictures, all my music, and all my art programs. I'm going to have to download Ultimate Paint again, seeing as that is the program I use to make my transmutation circles. I hope to get a new hard drive soon, so I'll be posting more pictures when I get one.

Happy new years everyone! Wow... Looking back at my pictures, I see so much progress, and looking ahead, I see more progress coming. So many things happened during 2005, I'm not gonna dive to deep into it as for what happened exactly, if I did I'd be writting a novel. Well, I've already drawn two pictures for the new year in my sketch book, but I don't think I'm gonna post them until I do some more refining and what not, transfer them onto a paper I can scan, etc. I'm gonna be doing a picture for the new years maybe. So, can't wait to see what this year has in store for me! Hope you all all have a good 2006!

So, I call my dad and he turns off the computer, turns it back on, and it goes to the big HP letters again. Nothing happens. So, he leavs the room, and i go back to playing FFX. Then i heard a weird noise coming from my computer. I look at the moniter, and it says "Operating system not found." At this point, I'm feeling like a flamingo in antartica thinking "What the heck is going on???" So, I call my dad in again. He looks at it, asks me how it happened, blah blah blah. So he turns off the computer, and looks it the insides. He clicks the turn on button, and notices that the hard drive doesn't do anything at all.

So, in all essence, today, my hard drive crapped out. It held a couple of finished pictures that I had spent my hard worked time on, but were not yet submitted. So, those went out the window. And my I sat on my bed, and said "Well crap!"

Sorry to say, but don't expect any more pictures from me until I get things straigtened out, which may take anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks. I will, however, be able to comment and stuff because my Playstation Portable can use the internet, and I have the rare access to the family computer. Which I have for the next 2 minutes. But, my contest will continue for those who may or may not be enetering. But dang!! I want my art programs and stuff back!!!! *cries

On another thoguht, I kinda want to tell you guys what I'm planning for my life. I have a few ideas... and they are kinda coming together at this point in my life. I want to be an illustrator, which i practice for almost everyday with little doodles, a lawyer, which I take classes for at school, and I kinda want to be a psychologist, which I will be taking classes for school aswell.

I like helping people, it's what I do. When people need someone to lean on, I like to be that someone. Call me idealistic but... yeah... you know?

One thing I dislike VERY much is how sexualy um... well... explicit? the world has become.
I mean sure, everyone has their thoughts, but you don't need to put it on TV or post it all over the internet. Well, I'm sleepy...
