Hey all, just wanted to say sorry to everyone for being so nonexistent.
Life at the moment has got me so weighed down I can barely think straight.
My wrist has gotten way worse, just holding a pencil or pen sends sharp pains throughout my wrist, I actually dropped my grooming clippers the other day because it got so bad, luckily nothing happened to them.

I really want to apologize to those of you who have placed in my contest, I feel horrible, just horrible for mot getting your stuff out to you!! Hopefully soon though when things calm down I'll be able to finally get everything done and sent out!

Work has really gotten bad, I almost walked out the other day but I knew if I did that I'd never be able to go to Ohio, which I desperately need to do, so I sucked it up, got back to work and went out the rest of my day.

I've been helping my mom and dad repaint out kitchen, its looking really good so far!! And I decided that I was going to do my room too, I mean I really really love the color of my room but its just so dark and depressing I think its time for a brighter change

I might even try and paint some nifty stuff on my walls, should be fun

So I need some ideas for some horse type creatures guys! maybe that will help get my creative juices flowing again, so any ideas would be great and I'd really appreciate it!

Now I loved it!! But for some reason I'm feeling really insignificant right now...
My friend rode horses when he was younger, like ten years ago. And where I have never been on a horse he got all the compliments, saying how great he was because he got to run his horse but I decided to play it safe and just walk mine, seeing as I have never been on one!

Each time out guide wanted something he called my friend by his name, where as me it was "Girlie" "Hey girlie go that way! Hey girlie pull up!"

I thought I did pretty damn good for my first time on a horse, there was only one point where he gave me some trouble and that was when our guide told my friend that he could run his horse, well mine wanted to go to and I actually would have let him but my guide tells me "No, your not going to run your horse because you didn't run your horse in the coral. *He had us do some warm up activities in the coral first so we could get used to the horses and what not* I'm like "Gee....thanks...."

The guy couldn't even remember my name but he managed to remember my friends.
He goes to introuduce me and my friend to his girlfriend and he's all
"This here is Adam! He did so well today!" blah blah blah

"Hi I'm Megan..."

Wow I totally probably sound like a jealous little b***h or something but it really hurt my feelings.....

My back hurts real bad to from the ride.....Gunna go to bed now, hopefully I'll feel better in the morning...

How is everyone doing? Good I hope!!

I'm doing okay....not the best, but okay. My job sucks majorly I've been cut down to 19 hours a week, and I can only do like one maybe two dogs in the time that I'm there so I haven't been able to commission out *sigh* So funds are low...really low. Low enough to where I might have to re home some of my critters because I'm afraid I may not be able to care for them properly

I shaved my dog Shaggy Monday, in the whole six years that I've had him he's never once gotten matted, for some reason he did this summer though, even though he's been to the groomers a fair amount of times. So I gave him a lion cut!!

I hope to have a better picture of him, when he's actually clean again, lol he LOVES to roll in the dirt, so of course right after I brought him home he rolls in the dirt and gets all dusty....darn dog

about a week ago I noticed she had stopped eating and got real lathargic, so using the only money I had I took her to the vet. They ruled out parasites, and couldn't find anything physically wrong that would cause her not to eat. The vet gave her a bit of fluids *cause she was somewhat dehydrated also* And then gave me some appetite stimulator. I was to give it to her three times a day until she started to eat again. After about three days she started to eat again, ate some of the juvenile beardie food and a few meal worms, she looked so much better! A little more energy and she just seemed happier.

And then...I find her dead, laying next to a replica beardie that I had in her tank

How heartbroken I was, I only had the little girl for four months! I don't know what caused her death, part of me wants to say it was her size, maybe she was just to little. When I bought Tanami she was about two sizes smaller then the rest of the hatchlings, which is the reason I bought her, so tiny, being pushed around and no one else seemed to want her

Losing Tanami makes me think I did something wrong while caring for her, even though she got the best of care that I could give her. So what happened?!

I wish I knew....

Sorry for the bad news guys, I just had to get i t out, I've been so bummed since yesterday. I feel like crawling under a rock and not coming out...

Hearing this, the young leopard halts his attack in mid strike, a look of terror comes over him and he slinks away into the tress. "Whew!", says the leopard, "That was close! The old dog nearly had me!"
Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put the knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So off he goes, but the old dog sees him heading after the leopard with great speed, and figures that something must be up, the monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard.
The young leopard is furious at being made a fool of and says "Here, monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine!"
Now the old dog sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back and thinks "What am I going to do now?"., but instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them yet, and just when they get close enough to hear the old dog says...
"Where's that damn monkey? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another leopard!'

Moral of this story....

I was in Wal-mart buying a large bag of Purina for Sophie (my dog) and was standing in the check out line. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog....I was feeling a bit crabby that day so on impulse, I told her no, I was starting the Purina diet again, although I probably shouldn't because the last time I tried it I ended up in the hospital, but that I had lost 50 pounds before I awakened in the intensive care unit with tubes coming out of every orifice and IV's in both arms.
Her eyes about bugged out of her head. So I went on and on with the bogus diet story and she was totally buying it. I told her that it was an easy, inexpensive diet and that the way it works is to just load your pockets or purse with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The package says the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try again.
I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was by no enthralled with my story, particularly a tall guy behind her. Horrified, she asked if I thought something in the dog food had poisoned me and was that why I ended up in the hospital. I said no, I was sitting in the middle of the road licking my ass when a car hit me.
I thought the tall guy in line was going to have to be carried out the door.

"Damn!" Says the little old lady...."I better go back and see if i can find some of them, thanks for the warning!"
"Well now, not so fast,"says the cop."How did you get all that money? Did you steal it?"
"Oh no!" says the little old lady "You see, my back yard backs up to the parking lot of the football stadium, each time there a game a lot of the fans come and pee in the bushes right into my flower beds! So I go and stand behind the bushes with a big hedge clipper and each time someone sticks their pecker through the bushes I say "$20 or off it comes!"
"Hey, not a bad idea!" laughs the cop. "Good luck! By the way....whats in the other bag?"

A friend of my brothers passed away.....

As if things weren't bad enough, I've never seen my brother so upset before I gave him the biggest hug today and I could just feel him shaking, it brought me close to tears but I didn't cry because I had to be strong for him. And for my cousin, he knew Jeremy for 12 years.

Its been a horrible few days, between this and work, my back is fucked up again and my wrist is shot, I haven't been this sad in a long time.

I want to apologize to all of you who I owe drawings and other prizes for winning my contest, I don't know when I'll be back into the swing of things I'll probably be sending out what I have now and then when I'm finished with everything else I'll send that at a later time, but for now I think I just need a break from reality....

My manager isn't the greatest, she leaves early whenever she feels like it, does whatever she wants, doesn't want to come in and work if someone calls in sick and there's only one person there (which by the way is usually me) and then she says I complain about it? Well wouldn't you if you got stuck at work for eight hours with no help? I mean come one, I have to answer phones, check in dogs make appointments, its not that easy and have my dogs done on time!!

She ended up calling me a bitch, me a BITCH! Come on, I'm one of the nicest persons out there, I strive to make people happy to keep things on a cool but oh no, now I'm the bitch. I told her she should look in the mirror.

So I'm really not looking forward to go into work today, its gunna suck balls I just know it!

so I've always liked Marilyn Manson's music but lately I've been addicted to it! So I've been watching a lot of videos and stuff on youtube and I cam across this video so I thought I'd share, its an interview with Manson and Letterman

Oh and I got my Halloween crabs yesterday! I'd love to share pictures but my cameras batteries died so yeah. Their so cool though! I got a make and female

Their names are Ghost and Spookie, figured I'd stick with the Halloween theme

So my wrist has gotten worse, I'm trying to get into the doctor but I can't get in until the middle of September o.O So I haven't been drawing much, or typing to much for that matter I really hope its nothing serious and its just from being over worked *sigh* I really want to draw though!!

Oh and I lost one of my spice finches

He had a seizure *from what I don't know* He was fine one minute and then started having a fit so I was able to take his out of the cage so he wouldn't hurt himself and he died in my hands

And about a month ago I lost the other one, found out he was sick when I got him cause we had one die at work to. So I ended up getting a society finch to keep my spice finch company *only after I was sure that my spice was healthy* He was extremely sad when my little spice died, he watched me as I held him and chirped and sang like he was trying to get him to wake up

It was really sad. So I had to get him a new buddy but I ended up getting two zebra finches, health checked and everything. So now I have three little finches all who are doing well and happy

Oh and I got new work shoes today, which are like what doctors and stuff wear and man are they comfy! Got a few new movies today to, and I was also able to put away a good handful of money towards my trip to Ohio. So I feel pretty damn good today!!

I have a horrible headache though, which doesn't want to go away! Grrr. Oh! So I took that cow skull that I painted back to the guy who had me paint it and he LOVED it, said that he'd have me do more for him, I'm extremely excited about that! Makes me feel like my art is actually worth something

Gah! Man why can't I find any descent friends? I always seem to get the backstabbers, the assholes, the ones who don't care at all about you!

So I had this friend a few years ago, she ended up moving to Seattle about three years ago. Well she moved back to Carson recently and we started talking again, which was cool cause we always liked to hang out. Anyway a few days ago she asked me to design her a tattoo for her birthday of some tiger lilies. I was more then happy to draw it for her and I've been killin' myself these past few days to have it done for her because she wanted it done ASAP because she's going into the navy and she wants to get it done before then. Well today i was talking to her and asked her a few more questions about the design she wanted and then I asked her how her birthday party was because I couldn't go and she got all pissy with me told me she didn't want to repeat herself over and over again and I was cool with it but she wouldn't let it go, she just kept bitching about how she didn't want to talk about her party anymore. And then she didn't want to talk to ME, like I freakin' did something wrong and all I did was ask her a simple question. So I said to hell with her and told her I wasn't going to design her a tattoo, that she could have her tattoo artist do it, but guess what, her design is so complex he doesn't want to do it, so good luck to her....

6/7/09-OH MY! I can't believe how I spaced this so badly! BUT! I just wanted to let you all know that you CAN enter more then one piece! So I finally got me a pair s Spice Finches today, I'm so happy! I've been wanting some of these little guys for the longest time and I just never got them, well I finally did! Their both so pretty and they love to sing.

Oh and I'm working on my commissioned skull I've painted the part that I'm going to do the majority of the painting white and I washed it carefully before hand because man, it was dusty! So I have free rang on the skull, he said I could paint whatever I wanted to on it. So I'm going to paint a horse, with a sunset background and some Kokopelli dudes on the sides of the skull, adding some pretty indian style beads and feathers to it also, I'm hoping it will come out good! He said even if its something that he doesn't really like, not saying that my art is bad or anything that he'd still pay me for it

I got commissioned today! For the first time EVER! The guy I met up in VC wants me to paint a steer skull for him! He gave me free range and everything. And if he likes it enough he wants me to paint more for him! Oh man I'm so excited! I'm getting some new paint brushes tomorrow and I'm going to sketch out some stuff cause I have so many ideas so I'm not really sure what I want to do yet but I know, I'm going to have fun with it!!!

Yeah so I was up in Virginia City today, had lots of fun and I went into this shop that I've been in a few times before. I found a few buffalo jaw bones, bought one and I was telling the owner of the store that I intend to paint it....well he may commission me to paint skulls for him! Oh I'm so excited! We shall see though, he's probably look at my stuff and go "Its crap, never mind!"

So i'm going to go back up to VC Sunday and show him some of my stuff!

yeah so that was pretty much the highlight of my day!

My tattoo didn't heal so nicely, actually it looks like crap, for some reason it scabbed really BAD! So alot of the color is lost so you know what that means? I have to have it colored in again, I'm not so thrilled about that I won't lie it hurt really bad to have the color in, almost bad enough to where I wanted to stop but didn't. Luckily this time the black stayed in and didn't turn a greyish color!

dunno what this journal was supposed to be about originally so I'm going to head out! Hope your all doing well!

I'm probably going to be getting an adult yellow bearded dragon, I can't wait to know if I can or not, he's so pretty! And had some personality, he's got what's called a squiggly tail but it doesn't affect him in any way!

In other news, I got food poisoning last night and ended up missing work today

I'm doing all that I can but there's only so much that I can do

Seems like my friends are letting me down to. I was supposed to go out fishing today with a friend because we both had today off and it was very nice out, I was extremely excited but guess what? She never called me and when I tried calling her all I got was her voice mail, guess people don't want to be around me anymore.

Sorry to unload like this on you guys, it just seems like I can write more freely hear.

I've been pretty emotional lately, my bills have gone sky high, hospital and non, my art is pretty much falling to pieces, work is getting to me, I want a vacation that I can't take because lack of money and no paid time off. I feel like a failure because I haven't been back to school in over a year and my family thinks I've just given up and trying to talk them to about it brings me to tears. It feels as though my dream died along with my hero

I can't help and feel negative, things just aren't...what they used to be. Oh in other great news! I hurt my left leg pretty bad, pulled a muscle or something so I've been pretty much limping around for the past two days

Only good news I have is that I finally get to go see Babbs! My hopefully future horse

In other news....

I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow! I'm excited.

Work is going to be a bitch these next few days seeing as I only got one day off and there's only going to be two people managing the grooming salon for 6 days, bah, horrible

I may be getting a few new geckos it all depends on how much money I made this past pay day, so we'll see. camilla's eggs are doing good as far as I can tell, I'm not messing with them, I will check here in a few weeks to see if they are indeed fertile, which would be killer! I would love to see what kind of patterns her and Digi would throw

Can't wait to have my tattoo done, I'm EXTREMELY excited. After this one is fixed I will be getting Riley and Karneil done on my shoulders, can't wait for that to happen! After that I'll be working on tattoos that artists here on the dA have done and gave me permission to use.

Oh and did I tell you that I got chewed out by my tattoo artist for getting that cheap ass kanji tattoo done instead of going to him, it was funny though, I laughed and I thought he was going to bear hug me or something, it was great.

me and my mom made up from the argument that we got into last night but her and my dad aren't talking so there's still some tension in the house but its not as bad as it was last night so I'm hoping things will get better soon!

oh does anyone know how to create as CSS for journals? I would really love one! I'm really tired of my journal being so blah, so if someone could make me one or go out in a trade that would be awesome!

But I do think I found her one, its not a kitten but a young make up for adoption at a Maine Coon rescue, only problem is, its in California so if she really wants him she better be ready to drive!
