Gosh...I liked Sebastian in the beginning, but now, he's become WAY too perfect. Glad to know he doesn't have a great singing voice...well, at least compared with the gorgeousness of Grell's. x3 Gotta luff that shinigami. I never thought I'd love another shinigami other than Sidoh or Ryuk.

It's tradition for me to watch Hocus Pocus, but truth is, the only thing I watched on TV for this past month was a documentary on Dracula. -.-' I didn't even get to finish it.

He and Umber are the only two characters that were based on a manga character. Mayze was based off Sven from Black Cat, and Umber was based off Beyond Birthday from the Death Note novel, Another Note: The Los Angeles Beyond Birthday Cases…or whatever it is called. Later on, he turned into a completely different character, but his clothes still resemble Sven’s a lot.

As fraternal twins, Shinpai and Mayze do not look identical. One obvious trait that differs is their color scheme. Mayze’s secondary color is a blue, while Shinpai’s is red. Most of the other differences are not easily recognizable.

Mayze was my very first vampire character. Unfortunately, I did not make him a 100% vampire. He is more like 64% (If you know the symbolism behind that number, I will draw you a picture. 8D Beware…it is difficult to guess) vampire, which is slowly increasing. He does not drink blood but considers cigarettes to be his substitute. He can also walk in the sunlight except during a cloudless day or the day before a new moon. While there are many other weaknesses he shares with vampires, but he still has that mortal side to him. He can still caught and die from mortal diseases.

His name was really the reason why I made him a vampire. I actually went on a baby name site where you could choose a category of names that fit in the group. They had a “Gothic Name” category. I found Mayze, and…bang! He was named. (The same thing happened for Umber and Omen.)

He is still going under changes, but there is nothing major so far. I just gave him a fedora and removed his wings (and Shinpai’s).

Practically all of my characters, with the exceptions of Ardread, Krypta, Umber, and maybe Mayze, are being redone. I haven't been too proud with them and need to change a few things.

Therefore, I will be scraping LP because I've been thinking about a different story. Focusing mainly on a "love" relationship between a million different couples sounds too much like a soap opera.

I have better ideas...meheheheh...
(All of which include a cartload of vampires and kitty people...BEWARE!)

My next OC I'm going to write about will be Mayze since I still love his character and role. <3 Liberty City is eventually going to be mapped out and renamed since it turns out the idea of a hellish Liberty City has already been taken.

I'm also scrapping several characters and replacing them. Although they will not be in my new story, I'll still draw them and use them for other things. Here is a list of those characters:

Kumete was created during the summer of ’04 or ’05 to be one of my main villains. Obviously, he is no longer a villain anymore. The decision to change his role from villain to antihero was made in a book I wrote but later scraped called The Bringer of Light, which helped me develop my characters even further.

In the beginning of the story, Kumete was an evil demon of my old character, Weta, who was scraped after the story, was completed. Later on in the story, Kumete redeemed himself. Since then, he has been on the “good” side throughout the space between The Bringer of Light and Lucifer’s Purge. When I paired him up with 666, his personality slightly changed making him more of a leader and flirt.

Kumete’s name has absolutely no meaning. It was a random thought that popped into my mind, and I stuck with it. It is a jumble of letters with a strange pronunciation.

Ardread! I was thinking about adding a last name because he is a human-type character, but...no.

2) How old is he/she?
Around 618 years as a vampire; bitten when he was 23 (He still retains eternal youth.)

3) Is your OC a boy or girl?
Ardread is male! ^^

4) What's his/her race?
He's a vampire--the only human character I really have. I a human werewolf, but since he turns into a wolf at night, I don't consider him human.

APPEARANCE

He doesn't really have a specific world. He is human-like so he doesn't fit into LP, but I may animalize him too. I guess he would be considered normal though...he's just like any vampire.

3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
Ardread have long, curly, black hair. 8D That's all I can really tell you now.

...Yes...

Ardread is very cowardly. He is the oldest living vampire (in my world, people! >_<, but only because he has been running for 618 years. XD

HISTORY

Yes, but since Ardread has been alive for 618 years, his memory of his human life is almost completely gone. He does remember that his mother was killed after he was bitten, but anything before that time...forget it.

2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
Yes, he really has nowhere to return to since all pre-vampiric memories have faded. Not to mention, I think Ardread is old enough to be alone. XD

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
Heck, yeah! His whole vampiric transformation was a traumatizing event! Not to mention, he has been up against a lot of humans, vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural beings just to stay alive.

4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
Ardread considers the first time he met up with his human friend (I'm currently working on her name right now...Ardread will have his own story, which I'm plannign to start while working on LP).

Anyways, Lucifer's Purge is going to be extremely dark and gothic with probably no happy endings because...well, I hate happy endings. They are too...happy. There will be mild (as in G-rated) romance and I'd say violence that would fit into either the PG or PG13 rating depending on the chapter and the content of that chapter. Shinpai, Kumete, Umber, and a few other characters of mine that cuss on a regular basis will be there too so there will be mild language as well. It takes place in your average, big city, where death seems to be more than just a natural part of life. There is something that appears only to those it wants to show itself to, particularly those it favors or has been assigned to kill. There are a few comic relief characters to break up all of the depressing talk so don't worry. Not everything will be negative and depressing.

I started to read Vol. 2 of Fullmetal Alchemist today, and I was sad. Why? Because of the deaths of Alexander and Nina. Why is it that everytime I get attached to ANY character, they go and DIE, dagnabit?! I'll have to admit that Nina and Alexander did make a very attractive chimera.
