So, I've had a few spare hours what with my week off work and all. Decided to finally get my arse in gear and start on the website I've always moaned about needing and wanting.
Its still very much under construction. In fact it's taking a longer time than first anticipated because I'm insisting on doing all the HTML myself, and I'm far from an expert. Still, all good fun!
Right, so I guess I better link.

http://www.freewebs.com/alannajohan

Images don't work on DA journals, od they? But if you want a makeshift banner:
[link]

Ok, so drop by, have a look and come back again later when there's more to see

I have finally gotten some metaphorical bollocks and decided to make this profile for my writing only. No more portraits and vanity here.

However, I have decided to created a new profile dedicated to my portraiture, which can be found here-

~AlannaJohan-Imagery

I would implore, and appreciate, anybody who watches me for my photography to start watching this profile also/instead. I won't be offended if you wish to remove this profile from your watch list - in fact I would appreciate the opportunity to see who is interested in which side of my creative being.

I also feel it important to mention that I do appreciate every favourite and comment I get (well, except the derogatory ones, haha!) and so rather than deleting all image items in my current gallery will gradually, as I get time, move them to my scraps gallery, thus keeping them in existence.

And that's it. Thank you and wish me luck!

Should I create another account so as to separate my photography from my wriitng?

Should I abandon DA completely, and set up, instead privately run portfolios and promotions?

Should I stop being such a voyeur over people that don't care about my existence and concentrate only on my own doings?
Should I leave the internet, and the majority of its figureheads and pseudo-friendly faces, completely in social terms?

Should I just shut the fuck up, get my caffeine intake and leave before I'm late?

First things first, for those who care, I've returned a fair few items to my gallery (mostly literature) now that it is once more appropriate. So if it seems more full that be why.

Secondly I have recently had stock-based requests so here's the deal: all literary items are mine in copyright, while most photographic items are split 50/50 with myself and the photographer (lest both are me, obviously). If you wish to use anything from my gallery as stock - words or images - you must gain my permission (and give me time to check with the photographer if necessary) and give credit in the submission to all parties involved.

My tummy hurts and I don't want to go to work.

Otherwise all is fine and dandy.

For those of you who peruse my gallery regularly, or are observant enough to notice changes to my front page preview, you may have noticed several gallery items are missing, mostly in the word department. This is a measure taken in relation to first publishing rights which I am obliged to constrain myself to and does not reflect a leave from writing or a wish to have a gallery full of myself. Whether or not it is temporary, however, is yet to be discovered.

So now you know.
