Okay, my niece had to go to a better hospital due to a heart murmur and repertory issue. We were told that one or the other isn't uncommon for infants but it raised concern that she had both. So my brother and his sister-in-law went with my niece to that hospital while his wife recuperated at the local hospital.

Turns out she has an infection brought on by the circumstances of her birth, so she'll be at the hospital until Saturday or Sunday for antibiotics. Got home a little while ago after taking my grandpa up to see her. As much as I want to have an opinion on this… I don't. If you want to say it's a cash grab, well… Hasbro's a toy company, so no shit. I'm kinda viewing it like the Pokemon movies with the mindset of 'I'll see it, when I see it.' It's not like we Les Miz when  I absolutely had to see it.

Although from what I've been reading, it might actually be canon, since it appears to have Sunset Shimmer, and based off of what I've been hearing about her, she'll be in season 4.

For me, that movie is 'Where the Wild Things Are.' I loved the picture book as a kid, and I was excited that it was being made into a movie. But when I saw it, I was horrorfied to find that not only was this thing meant for children, it was based off of that book. I'm releaved to know that my mom hates that we saw this in theaters too. A nice theater at that, rather than the local, three-screen theater.

Yeah, saw The Hobbit last night. Lemme tell you, I needed it after a day that was irritation after irritation. Also, there was a preview for Cirque du Soleil (still...) which only proved to me that if nothing else, it looks purty.

While I did like young Bilbo, Frodo will always bee the only Hobbit in my heart. So, yeah, I was happy to see Frodo and Bilbo at, what would have been the start of The Fellowship of the Ring. Nice framing device, though I would've though they would have ended it on that, instead it ended on a quick glimps of Smaug.

I liked the orginial moive... I liked the two sequels... I really don't know what to think of this. I don't mind that it's CG, I wouldn't mind if it was a bit better. The two leads don't look like themselves. At all. And it just seems like a bit of a cop-out to bring back the original villian after he's been dead for two movies.

Okay, in all seriousness, I only really wanted to see this movie to see if Kristen Steward could actually act. I found her more enjoyable as Snow White than Bella. Granted it isn't saying much. I really did like Steward in 'Speak' though good book.

Really... that's all I have to say about it. There wasn't anything particularly memerable.

Although, something else to note, because I saw a truly disturbing poster in the theater.

I would sooner name a character Chair, or Pineapple than name them Hikari, Sakura or Insertgenericjapanesewordko. I wouldn't even name a character Luna. Because it was just as overused in fanfiction as Hikari. The only acception to this rule is Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter. And the acceptions for Sakura is Sakura Kimoto, and Princess Sakura/Tsubasa.

As for males. I wouldn't name him Johnny. Namely because most of the assholes I've known were named Johnny. The only acception to this is a cousin of mine, who is the only Johnny I know whoes a pretty decent guy.

If grandma were still alive we probably would have had to go over to their place. During her last fiew year's her health was waneing, and we had to becareful of dog hair getting to her lungs. If I really had to complain about something, it's the shaky camera in some areas. In other's I found it works, as the orgininal book was told from Katniss' point of view. Like the distorted view after Katniss was stung by the Tracker Jackers.  And the dulled audio whenever she's out of it.

For those who don't know, Derpy is a background pegasus pony in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. The fan's gave her the name Derpy based off of her cross eyes, which, to my understanding was an animation accident during her first appearance. In a few other apperances her eyes were tentional, and she appeared to be accident prone.
