Dayo tiptoed up the stairs leading up to the attic, placing each foot slowing and carefully so as not to make the old wood whine too loudly. Her grandfather was sleeping in his room right down the hall on the floor from which she was ascending and to wake him would be a very big mistake. She could make a pretty confident guess that he would not like her snooping around in the middle of the night especially nowadays. She had been living with him for the past two weeks and they were still getting used to each other. There was something odd about him, though Â something Dayo couldnÂt quite put her finger on. She had always known him as a gentle man, very kind and mild mannered. At first, he was just as she had always remembered, but then, he gradually began to change. He became more callous and mean. He never seemed to want to be around her anymore and when he was, he would always regard her with cold indifference that boarded on disgust. He had also become very secretive. He would shut himself off in his room for two or three days at a time without coming out for anything. Dayo would sometimes try to talk to him through the door, but all she could was him muttering and sometimes laughing wildly to himself. She found herself having to take care of the both of them Â buying groceries, doing laundry, cleaning the house, etc. while he ignored everything and went about his ÂbusinessÂ whatever it could be. She was starting to worry.
She missed her parents. About one month before she moved in with her grandfather, DayoÂs mother passed away. She had been caught in a terrible car accident after a short summer storm had slicked the roads. It was extremely painful for Dayo and her father, but he took it extremely hard. It came to the point where he couldnÂt take care of his daughter in the state he was in. So, he put her in his fatherÂs care while he sorted himself out and tried to deal with his wifeÂs death. Dayo didnÂt know when he was coming back. He very rarely called and when he did, he never said much. Sometimes, she wondered if he would ever come back at all. It troubled her greatly and it was a terrible feeling to live with.
It was a Sunday night and right around 11:15, Dayo had heard an odd tapping coming from overhead in the ceiling. Her room was at the opposite end of the hall from her grandfatherÂs. Between the two rooms was a bathroom, a closet, the beginning to the staircase leading down to the ground floor, and the beginning of the staircase leading up into the attic. The noise was right above her room and it would not stop no matter how long she waited. Finally, she decided to slip out from beneath her covers, put on her blue slippers, and investigate. Even as she made her way up the stairs, she could hear the tapping still going. At first, she thought that it might be some animal that had made its way into the attic to nest. If that was the case, she hoped that could just tap on the attic door and scare it off.
Dayo wasnÂt allowed in the attic. Her grandfather had forbidden it. He had said that there were old things up there, things that she shouldnÂt be meddling with. So, as she kept walking up the stairs, taking one step at a time, she found herself rather nervous and a tiny bit fearful that whatever was up there was something she didnÂt want to find. But she had to make that tapping stop. It would drive her crazy if she didnÂt. She was too scared of her grandfather to wake him. So, that just left Dayo to find out for herself. The tapping got gradually louder as she approached.
At the top of the stairs, she came to the old, faded red door to the attic. It had several long scratches and cracks running deep into the surface. She could hear the tapping, not at the door itself, but from somewhere beyond it. She pressed her ear to the door, thinking that if it were some sort of animal, there would be some additional sounds like scratching or gnawing, but there was only that tapping sound. She placed her hand on the old brass doorknob and twisted to open the door, but found that it halted mid-way through the turn. It was locked.
She shouldÂve known. She shouldÂve thought of that before she went all the way up there, risking waking her grandfather and creating an even more uncomfortable and awkward situation for herself. Of course, it would be locked. Her grandfather wasnÂt the type of person to just trust a thirteen year old, even if it was his only granddaughter. Suddenly, Dayo noticed that the tapping had stopped for just the briefest moment when she had turned the knob and then, had started back up again. She listened carefully and though that it had even picked up speed. Maybe she had spooked whatever was making the noise. She jiggled the handle again and the tapping did the same thing Â stopped and then, started up again, picking up speed. I've had this artistic to-do list for a while and it doesn't look like I'll be getting to it this week. *grump grump grump* I have a short Ice Age related joke comic in the works (inking phase) and I need to start the second in the Traditional SamJack series.
Good news for the artistic, not so good for the scholarly - I HAVE been getting a good bit of writing done with that original story that involved the epiphany and what not. I did go with the new direction and I have to admit, it's coming out a lot better . . . at least in my opinion . . . sooooo . . . uh . . .

Hey - just felt like writing out some things that were on my mind.

So, I've been working on this one original story since last year and it's coming along ok. It's 27 pages long with 15,776 words. I work on it in between times of school work doing and I really want to finish it (despite an onslaught of other friggin' story ideas

) Anyway, I was working on it yesterday and in the middle, I got a new idea for the direction of the story. It seems like it would make the plot simpler and . . . I don't know - stuff. The only thing is that if I were to move forward with this new idea, I'd have to re-write a good bit of it which runs the risk of me losing track of this story and dropping it into the 'will complete one day' pile. Really, I'm tempted to just write on as usual and then, change it when I go back for editing. It's really important for me to keep up with this story so that I can break my habit of dropping plots. *blarg blarg blarg*

Yeah - if you knew how many plots I had, your head would explode. Seriously, I get one like once a week . . . dammit.

BUT let me just try to justify myself here for a minute

My ultimate goal in this thing is to create an Ice Age Buck centered comic that is ENTERTAINING for OTHERS to read.

I don't want to use it to channel my own needs for romance . . . that'd be kind of weird.

Anyway, I want to make a series of promises to you. If any of these are broken, comic goes down, comic fails, comic gets rewritten, one of those - and I know that technically it would be my work and therefore should go by my creative decisions, but it will be good for me to see if I can do this: make a comic that could actually stand in the Ice Age reality. THAT is important to me - more important than supporting my other needs.

1) This comic will have a damn decent plot. Even if it takes me a MILLION years to come with it (which at this rate and with these road blocks, it looks like it might) I will come up with something that is MORE than just a painfully obvious vehicle for my fan character to be inserted into this universe.

2) Everyone will stay in friggin' character. Buck WILL NOT become a mush factory. He will be as freaking crazy and hilarious as ever (or at least to the extent my talents will allow me to make him - *won't ever be as good as the movie, but I can try!!!) And that goes for the other characters too - should they happen to appear

3) Probably the most important - LEMMA WILL NOT BE A MARY SUE!!!!
If at any point, she starts displaying such tendencies, you have my permission to have something horrible to her.

Lemma:

Oh come on! Why does it have to be to me?! You're the one who writes/draws out how I act and talk, etc.

Ok - fine! They can have something horrible happening to me if they really want to, but DAMMIT you WILL have a unique personality if I have to sit you in the time out corner and beat it into you with the personality stick.

Lemma: Wouldn't that be animal cruelty?

Ok - so remember that weird mysterious project I mentioned in my last journal?

Well, it turns out that I would like to include some Japanese into it if I could. *I know how random this seems*

If anyone could help me now or in future Japanese type predicaments, I would REALLY REALLY appreciate it (and love you forever).

Currently, I'm trying to say 'Dizzy Woman' (don't ask)

Now, correct me please if I am incorrect, but would it be something like:

'Josei wa memai ga shimasu' (for formal case) - I guess I'd prefer formal if possible.

and then informal is . . .

'Josei wa memai ga suru'

IS THIS CORRECT?

I'm going to take a stab at writing out the characters later, but FIRST! I want to at least get the wording right.

I guess I just wanted to kind of give an 'up date' I guess -

though I must admit I feel like some self-absorbed douche bag when I say that.

Anyway, I'm in the second week of my junior year of college - eeww. Everything's going pretty ok - even with my 3 math classes.

Despite the mounds of homework - I AM STILL DRAWING! . . . or doodling . . . whatever you want to call it. Either way, I'm putting pencil to paper and makin' semi-purdy pictures.

I have an extensive art project in mind and am currently studying up for it . . .

so that should be fun. If I ever finish it *prays* I'm definitely going to stick it up here.

I feel bad/neglectful about not putting stuff up here in so long. I'm kind of wondering what I should do. I don't think my doodly work is all that worthy of your gaze >=3 Meh - I'll think of something. I really should put some stuff up here . . . erg.

Well, I guess it really started with school being so busy and then, it just kind of turned into one long time period of neglect.

I'm sorry. I can tell you honestly that really I did think about DA and you guys often during the long period of non-DA going . . . *feels shame* =C

Anyway, I'd like to get my ass back on here because I miss you guys. I miss you guys oodles and when I go through all the messages that have built up - they make me want to do a happy cry.

I don't know if I'll be uploading anything soon. I'm still in a Horton's kick, but add Monsters vs Aliens in the mix and some thoughts about my own original ideas. I need to get back into drawing - I feel like it's been forever since I last did it.

Right now, I'm in Seoul, Korea by the way . . . yeah . . . other side of the world . . . thought you ought to know (Freaking AWESOME!) . . . but I left my prismie markers at home . . . so if I do draw anything - it will be in pencil . . . maybe kimchi (spicy cabbage) if I get desperate.

Yeah - that's what I thought you'd say. Anyway, the idea of doing commissions (aka doing requests for money) has been an on and off idea with me. My mom thinks I should do it because hey! I'm in college and perhaps 80-85% of the time, college students . . . are . . . flat . . . broke. And while I'm not exactly 'flat broke', I must admit another source of income would not hurt in such tight times. I'm kinda thinkin' I should do it because I agree with my mom that it would help money troubles and . . . well, the prospect is kind of exciting and encouraging. So yeah . . .

"Ok - so why don't you just go and do it already? Go advertise, set prices - that whole load of sh-

GOOD QUESTION RANDOM DA WATCHER PERSON!!!
But alas, there have been many a thing to make me hesitant.
1. The pieces currently in my gallery are not what I'd really call my best work and I don't know if Animaniacs fanart is going to make people want to buy. Hence - why I've been talking about starting a new account with originalness.

2. I'm still not done those damn requests that people have made- HELL! Years ago. It would definitely feel weird to me to start doing commissions when there might be people who are still waiting for their free ones. Hell! I can't even remember what I still have to do. NOTE: by the way, if it's not too much trouble, could you please respond to this journal if you did request something and let me know if you still want it.

3. Time . . . I know that if people were paying me, there would be more pressure to get pieces done and that would be the kick in the pants to get me moving. But life is unpredictable, so I can't help but worry that I'll come to the point where it's the end of the month, people are raging for their pieces and I've done . . . BAGEL!

4. Am I good enough to be paid? . . . self-explanatory.

Is that it? . . . yeah, I guess that's it.
So, I'd like some of your opinions on the issue. Let me know what you really think - even if it's "OMG NO! YOU SUCK! GO BACK TO ART SCHOOL!" etc. Just whatever you have to say, let me hear it.

There is one thing I'd like to make clear. If I did start doing commissions, I would ask you guys what you thought were reasonable prices. You would get the actual artwork - I'd mail it to you. It would be signed and dated and all I would ask for is that you let me scan it and put it up in my gallery. More than likely I would send you a picture of it digitally before mailing it so that I knew I got it right. If I didn't I'd do it over.

I think that's all I had to say. Thanks so much, you guys, for listening.

Whelp! I'm all moved in at Hood. My stuff is out all over the place, I've got my cards, and I just went through my first day of orientation . . .

I miss home.

But I don't think the whole independence thing has really hit me yet. Right now, it just feels like I've gone away for summer camp or something like that.

Anyway, it turns out that they have stuff planned for us all the way up through Monday . . . I kinda wish they would just leave us alone.

You know me, I'd much rather just sit in my dorm room and draw. I need to fill my walls up with stuff

But what can ya do?

My roommate is nice. She's not into all the stuff that I'm into - she's not big on the cartoon stuff. But she's cool! =3 I like her taste in music and we have a few things in common.

My classes start after 1:00 p.m. on Monday. My first class is gonna be Elements of Acting at 2:00 =3 and actually, I think that's the only class I have that day.

First of all, I've got some apologizing to do.
I'm sorry that it's taking me so long to reply to comments. XP They just build up on me until I notice I have like 72 and then, I say to myself O_o Oh snafu!

ALSO! I'm sorry requests are taking so long. Most of the ones I've gotten done so far were completed at work. O_o . . . ha ha go fig. BUT things have gotten a bit busier at work. AND THEN, my printer needed ink replaced, so I couldn't print out references to use while at work in the meantime. Plus, my mind has been wandering to other projects.

Ok, so I've had comments sitting in my little inbox from like 3 or 4 days ago . . . BEFORE YA MURDER ME!!! lemme explain!

I started work on the 15th at Kennedy Krieger as a lab assistant in neurology. Kennedy Krieger is in Baltimore, right next to Johns Hopkins. Now, my little happy home is a long long long LONG ways away from Baltimore and I'm not comfortable enough to drive there myself everyday (traffic = murder).

So, I take the bus!!!

The bus ride is more or less, an hour and twenty minutes or so. In the morning, I catch the 6:50 and arrive at like 8:10. When I get out of work, I usually catch the 5:00 (at the latest, the 5:30), and arrive at the park and ride at like 6:22 (6:57 if I get the latest bus).

SO, in short, I get home LATE! And normally, I've been a little drained- so, getting to comments has been tough.

BUT I'm off on Fridays - so, I'm gonna try and get to my inbox . . . then, again - maybe I'll work on that tonight.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm not dead and that I'm sorry it's taking me forever to get to comments.

Yep, Tuesday . . . somewhere between one and three o' clock, I walked across the stage at Towson University, shook hands with the Alumnus of the year and accepted a diploma . . . holder . . . yeah, we got the actual diploma in a back room AFTER the ceremony. OMG THEY HAD BEACH BALLS!!! They were throwing them around while the ceremony was going on. The teachers were so mad - I LOVED IT! *not that the teachers were mad, but it's just that- Everyone was taking this so seriously *most of them anyway* and I just wasn't feeling it. I was waiting for the monumental realization to kick in. Then, A BEACH BALL!

Zat made meh so happeh! =3

After that, we went home for a bit and then, to Outback Steakhouse where I stuffed my fat face with bread, coconut shrimp, lobster, and steah!!! . . . food is yummy.

I'm sorry I haven't been around for awhile. The last week before spring break was 'mondo' busy. XP And then, I spent the first half of spring break week trying to get my Spanish teacher's cd to work. >_< It still skips and I need to finish the descriptions. Le arg!

But anyway, it's been pretty good this week. I bought TMNT volumes 2 and 3 and the Pebble and the Penguin a few days ago.

I was shocked when I saw the Peb. and the Peng. dvd just randomly sitting on a shelf in Target. I hadn't seen that movie in forever AND THEY HAD SPANISH AND FRENCH AUDIO TRACKS - my language nuttiness could not resist.

So there's that and it turns out that I've mutated into a TMNT fangirl - I am le pathetic. Yeah, it's pretty bad when you draw your own little fan girl character - THAT'S RIGHT! I DID IT!!! I'M A WHIMPY LITTLE FAN GIRL WITH HER OWN LITTLE WHIMPY FAN GIRL CHARACTER! HA!!!

XP I gave her a weapon too. That's right! I'm talkin' kusari-gama, BEE-ATCH!!!
AND she does NOT end up with Raphael . . . why does he seem to be the main pick for the love interest of girls who enter the series? and I'm not just talkin' fan stuff - it seems like that's how it was with the comics and I know there was Mona Lisa in the 80's tv series. I guess it's because of the awkward situation it presents to Raphael as a character. Clearly, he's really an anti-get close to anybody kind of person . . . eh, turtle and should there be present a person he wants to get close to, it introduces a new instability in his personality . . . or I'm just babbling and this had nothing to do with anything . . .
I'll just go with that it's Rob Paulsen and even if the tmnt fan girl doesn't know who he is, her girl fan turtle can not resist the charming voice of this man . . . there ya go, one simple sentence to explain. I'm done with this topic.

You remember Irma from the old series? April's kinda dorky love sick bud who hit on like everybody? . . . SHE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THAT BROWN HAIRED, GLASSES WEARING CHIPMUNK FROM THE CHIPETTES!!! I SWEAR IT! They're like dead on lookalikes! I bet she mutated and went off to do her own show

Final note - TMNT the old series, has done two big "no-no's" with me
1. They had an episode where someone pointed out that tv is bad for you.
2. They stated something that wasn't true - TURTLES ARE REPTILES! NOT AMPHIBIANS, YA DORKS!!!!

I promised my 10th grade English now Creative Writing teacher that I would test the mug she gave me for Christmas out on the first snow day with hot chocolate. So, based on her journal, I guess I'm supposed to list 6 strange/veird things about me . . . . WHELP! Let's get this party started!!!

1. If you haven't noticed already, I'm LANGUAGE OBSESSED!!!! I have a tendency to use various languages in my posts. I'm best at Spanish because I take it in school, but I'll sometimes use Portuguese, Polish, Lithuanian, French, and a bunch of others I cannot currently recall

. . . . YAY SPEAKING!!!! I also like watching cartoons in different languages . . .

2. I'm in love with a cartoon character

3. When I'm in a crowded room and someone is talking and I'm kind of not listening, I play this game where I look up at a random point and then, look around as if there's a fly flying around the room, then, I see how many people I can get to try and look that way or ask my what I am looking at . . . . it doesn't seem to work all that well for me, but ^_^ I still like doing it.

4. I like to try weird food combinations, purely for the curiosity of it (guessing what it might taste like and then, seeing if I was right) My weirdest combinations --> chocolate and cheese, peanut butter and tuna on toast, pineapple pizza (ok, that's not all that weird, but some think it's gross)

5. I have a weird paranoia of doors.

ANYWAY, hello again everyone!
So, some of the stress has weakened a little bit I suppose, but I still think I need to do something to relax . . . . NO, I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WITH THE TAI CHI! >_< I have the first form down, but I need to move on to the other 23 sometime in my life.

This weekend, . . .

Jane Eyre is due Tuesday. So, I need to work on it. >_< As I mentioned earlier, it's extremely long, but I'll admit it now that I'm not quite as worried about staying up to work on it. My goal is to get as much done as I can so that on Monday night, I only have to stay up until 1 or 2 instead of 5. I'm terrible when it comes to procratinating. I honestly think it's going to kill me someday. I'm a terrible student/person . . . *le sigh* oh well

I have an inking project due Tues. I need to get it done before then so I can start on my mid-term project which I think I'm only going to have three days to do since I took so figgin' long on the inking project. Good news is that I'm almost done. ^_^; Lately, I've been dozing off in school because of the lack of sleep. I feel terrible about it because the teachers are so nice and they care about my learning. *Seriously, they do - they've noticed and I just feel low and terrible when they notice. So, art class unfortunately, is one of those classes where I doze off for a second or two and inking is an especially bad time to go out. You look at my picture and every once in a while, you see a line instead of dot and you can tell, that's where I went out. I'll have to post it up when I'm done - you and your friends can have a blasts, finding all the sleep lines.

I have to color in a card for a friend. Yeah, this I don't mind so much. My friend made this card for another friend and she wants me to color it in for her. I'm not complaining - I don't mind doing it at all. I'm just putting it under the list of things I need to do this weekend.

O_o that's all I can think of right now. I'll have to look at my planner. ^_^

I never got the chance to enter those contests by the way. I felt so bad about it - I kind of resorted to mushy huggy comfort pics which I draw a lot anyway, but these would include crying. I can't let myself get all depressed over this - there will be other contests. So, yeah

Today, I pretty much spent the day sitting around, watching the Marx brothers

and drawing a plushie I wanna get made. Meh, nothing all that special. BUT I did go out back and shoot a few arrows at the new foam target I got for Christmas XD I got a blister on finger, but I love archery. I love my 6 foot bow. I love my blunt red, blue, and white arrows. I love my sharp

camaflouge arrows (I don't hunt). I love my now holey target. I need to shoot stuff with sticks more often.

Hmm . . . I trying to think of other things to tell you, but my mind's going blank. Well, I guess I'll take my leave and go back to Grey's Anatomy and daydreaming. ttyl everyone

First of all HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!! I hope everyone is having a nice relaxing holiday break. And I hope every one has a joyous New Years.

Break has been good so far. Relaxation with lots of odd drawing. The only thing is that there are things I REALLY need to get to work on. I have two contests with Dec. 31 due dates. The story for one of them is finished and just needs revision while the other needs to be begun. >_< ARG! I would be such a loss if I missed them.
Also, I have to work on a manga for Creative Writing Books due the 4th. I have to have it finished for Tuesday so my partner can do the inking. I do feel a little frustrated that I have to draw the whole thing, but I understand that it's what I signed up for and if we both did drawing, the styles would be inconsistent. Also, my procratinating ways have only put more stress on myself so it is my fault.

ALSO, I have a Jane Eyre journal due on the 8th. That book is SO LONG. I really need to get to work on it. I CAN'T do a stay up late night on it. I JUST CAN'T. It will kill me. Seriously, it will kill me. Staying up late for Frankenfurter nearly killed me

. . . ok, so maybe it wasn't THAT bad, but I was sick the next day. I can't do it. I . . . just . . . can't . . . arg!
ANYWAY! Let's see . . . what else is there? OH YES!!! Besides the manga, I'm doing my own little anthology for the creative writing book project. Don't ask why - I just felt like doing it. I'm just putting together a few of my poems, stories, and drawings together in a booklet. Yeah . . . that's not so bad.
And besides those, there's also the long term stresses. This would include the college stresses. Good news - I've been accepted to Hood and Salisbury and all I have do now is wait on Washington and Towson Bad news - Now I have to work on scholarship crap. And then, there's the driving. OH GOD THE DRIVING!!!

Now look! I want to drive. I REALLY WANT TO DRIVE!!! But . . . it's just . . . SCARY TO ME! OK?! The people around here drive like maniacs and I'm just scared of everything when I'm on the road. And every time I make a mistake, I think about it for like the next 20 -30 minutes or so. I can't let it go and it just makes me feel horrible about myself. I know it's weird, but I hate when my brother and my mom talk about him driving while I'm there. I just hate. It makes me feel so self-loathing. I just hate myself. I can't help it. BUT I promised myself and my mom that I'm going to get my driver's license in February and that's what I'm going to do.

As you can see, my life is kind of stressful right now. This kind of transitions into the next new thing. I want to learn Tai Chi. I know it's a little . . . stupid. I mean it sounds like one of those cases where the person says they're gonna do something and then, they don't do squat. But I think Tai Chi would be really good for me. It's supposed to relieve stress and it's a good way to exercise. Also, it teaches you good self defense techniques. You know, clears the mind, works the body. It really seems interesting to me. I'd love to try it out. Again, I think it would be good for me. >_< The only thing is to find time. Arg!

So, I've been really into the show Xiaolin Showdown . . .
I'm not sure what to expect as a reaction to that, but whatever.
I was overwhelmed with joy when I bought season 1 on DVD from Best Buy. I WAS EVEN MORE OVERWHELMED WHEN I FOUND OUT THEY HAD SPANISH AND FRENCH TRACKS!!!! saddened by lack of subtitles, BUT STILL INCREDIBLY HAPPY!!!!! So yes, I stayed up last night watching a few episodes in Spanish, French, and English. For the Spanish viewings, I took notes on things I couldn't understand. XD I love the voice actors for the varying languages. French Clay sounds very adult

I vas surprised. Anyway, I spent today watching the entire first disc in English. It was nice. I love watching that show . . . and . . .

It's been a while since my last journal entry, so I thought I'd update.

GOOD NEWS - I FINALLY was able to become a post able member of the Rob Paulsen forums. HAZAA!!! ^_^ IT'S AWESOME THERE!!!
Semi-bad news . . . meh, it's not that bad - The forums have been distracting me from from DeviantArt, e-mail, school, etc. . . . but IT'S SO AWESOME THERE!!! . . . i can't help it.

Thanksgiving - WUNDERBAR! I spent the day at my Grandma's house . . . the food was soooooooo good *babble and drool* There was ham and turkey and mashed potatoes and pie . . . OMG SO MUCH PIE!!! . . . I don't care what anybody says . . . Upside Down Pineapple Cherry Pie is DELICIOUS!!! mmmmmmmmmm, pineapple

BUT!

This weekend has really gotten me thinking about what I'm thankful for . . . there are so many things. Family, friends, people who put up with my annoyances (YOU KNOW THEY'RE THERE!!!!!!), even people who don't even know me and inspire me with their works - I'm thankful for all of it and I wish I could express that more efficiently/powerfully than with just this journal entry . . . but in the future, I hope to make every one of them proud with what I plan to do. ^_^

Moving away from the mooshiness . . . . I'VE BEEN ON A SEUSS BINGE! . . . I mean besides from all the other obsessions ha ha
I've been rather obsessed with Dr. Seuss, the Cat in the Hat, and all of that as you may have predicted from "The 'What' in the Hat"
O_O . . . . YOU SEE!
Anyway, I've been watching the cartoon over and over again. The songs are too catchy and get stuck in my head . . . Last night, I bought three childrens' books - 2 Dr. Seusses (CITH and CITHR) and an old favorite by Eastman (Are You My Mother?). I love reading the Dr. Seuss books out loud - I

rhyming. ^_^

BTW, I caught the Celebrity Paranormal with Mad Ray and Gilbert Godfried - it was ok. I'm not sure what's in store for this Sunday though. We'll see ^_^

In other news - THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS FOR DECEMBER 1!
Well, my mom wants me to get all my applications in before Dec. 1 which is good, but I am extremely lazy and THOSE APPLICATIONS ARE SO FIGGIN' ANNOYING . . . *ehem* 'Who are your parents? Where did they go to college? With what degree did they graduate? What are their jobs? Who's their employer? What is the employer's address and phone number? . . . . . . . WHO WAS YOUR MOTHER'S SECOND COUSIN'S HUDBAND'S BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND'S FATHER'S TEACHER IN FIFTH GRADE?!?!?!' . . . yeah
Then, there are a bunch of contests that I wanna enter. Two writings and one art related contest. The art contest - I GET TO DESIGN A COW WOOT!!! I'll put in a pic when I get the chance ^_^
The other two are just short story contests - I REALLY wanna enter them . . . we'll see what happens . . .

I'm a dork! So I can't wait for the new episode next Sunday cuz it's gonna have Gilbert Godfried! WOOT!!!

He's a comedian/actor, most famous among the youngsters as the voice of Iago from Aladdin. I don't know why, but I'm so looking forward to his reactions to the hauntings and such! YAY! PLUS! It seems that the story behind the whole things is really good. WHY DO MESSAGE BOARDS HATE ME?!?!?!?!
For the past few days, I've been trying to register at the Rob Paulsen forums. What's supposed to happen is after you submit your username, password, name, e-mail, etc. you get an e-mail and then, you get another confirmation e-mail. Well, I've tried it about 5 times with different e-mail addresses, but it will never send me the second confirmation e-mail. ARG! IT'S GOT ME SO FRUSTRATED!!! >_< I'm not sure what to do about it. I hate trying to register over and over again because it adds members that are technically not really there. But I'm not sure what else to do. >_< I guess I could ask someone else to post my questions if I ever have any. -_- oh well . . . just to be clear, I'm not complaining about the person in charge of the forums. I hate that I keep troubling him/her with all my non-working member accounts. >_< arg I do not want to be that kind of annoying! NAGDABBIT!!!

So, I may live on a haunted street . . .

According to a Maryland Hauntings website, there is supposedly a house on my street that has moving boxes in the basement and a man who stands by closets and tries to hold people's hands . . . I guess. They also put the word "Riggie" by the street . . . I don't know what Riggie means. Anyway, I don't recall having experienced any paranormal activity while shuffling around my block, but I'll keep my eyes and ears peeled from now on. HERE GHOSTIE GHOSTIE GHOSTIE!!!!

Well, I guess that's all I have to say for now . . . maybe I'll finally go do something about those essays . . . I guess . . .

The type 'o tea for me . . .

~ Leave tea bag in water for at least 6 minutes
~ Put milk and sugar in cup BEFORE the tea
~ About 2 or 3 spoon fulls of sugar (no medicine, that doesn't need to go down)
~ About 3 or more spoon fulls of milk
~ Pour, Stir, Add what's needed
~ USE A FANCY TEA CUP!!!

Yeah, for some reason I just felt like tea today. Blame the Lemon Demon song 'Your Evil Shadow Has a Cup of Tea' That song is catchy . . . Let's face it, there is something oddly sophisticated and classy about tea. ^_^ Anyway, I never really used to like tea . . . I always made it wrong. BUT TODAY WAS LUCKY FOR ME! HOO RAH! *I'm gonna stop rambling on about tea*
