He has a broken nose and a concussion, then some minor bruising and scratches.

Apparently there was a tree around a hill/corner thing and he didn't see it before it was too late. But he had the reflexes to duck down to his consul thing and that's what saved him. He flipped and everything and was unconscious for about 30-45 minutes and yeah. It was terrifying.
