I got awesome new boots...and money, and a new to me new car for Hanukkah, so I'm a happy girl.

Funny story behind my new drawring. Or drawing, in layman's terms. I had to make a trip to wal-mart because I couldn't find my rubber cement. Rubber cement is vital. Trust me. So the lady at the counter ID's me.

I'm irritated, In what world do I look under 17? But I pull out my ID with a smile. She looks at the ID. She looks at me. she looks at the ID. Looks at me. She even looks at the girl who's standing next to me to compare HER to the picture.

"This doesn't look like you."
"Yeah, I've cut my dreadlocks off." By the way dA'ers, I cut my dreadlocks off. I need a new devID.
"Oh. It doesn't look like you." She's refusing to sell me the glue. I pull out my student ID and hand it to her.
"Here, this one's mine too. Compare the names."
She looks from one to the other. Then at me. "This one looks like you, but your drivers license doesn't."
"It's me." I'm a little rude at this point. Sorry wal-mart lady...but I gave her two forms of ID and was paying with a card that has my name on it. If I had a fake ID, why would it say that I'm 19 and not 21?

She finally sells me the glue. That was the most ridiculous carding experience of my life. I'm so glad I'm getting the heck out of here...the gene pool's a lil bit shallow.

Anyways.

I've got quite a few things in progress right now. There are about two that I like enough to consider showing to you guys. That's all I'm going to say about it right now, because...well, I have a history of not finishing what I say I'm going to finish.

Yeah, the pile of half-done pieces grows and grows.

But I'll finish SOMETHING! Those of you who've been watching me for a while...remember that I used to update a few times a month. Now it's a few times a year...

In a book of literary and political/scientific worth, I can understand citing your own work. but this is just like saying "This is true because I said so. Let me prove it by repeating my own opinions over and over from multiple sources."

Just found that both amusing and ridiculous.
