But if all goes well, very soon you'll see the rest of Prudence's misadventure with Valentina. I've completed the sketches for all 14 pages and I'm quite pleased with the way the scenario builds on - it seems like it holds way back and till the last minute, but when it finally breaks loose...well, it delivers just what everyone's waiting for and it takes it's time doing so. Heh heh.

There's also a couple more surprises for the holidays I'd like to upload before the end of the year.

Photoshop class is wrapping up. We're working on designing our own fictional movie poster for our final project.

I'd been having some abdominal pain for a few days... when someone suggested that it could be a sympton of appendicitis I completely FREAKED OUT.

I was feeling down, pressured, and worried up until midnight Sunday. I couldn't take all the worry anymore so I finally went to the hospital.

Turns out it's just a virus playing some tricks on me....My worrying made things worse than anything, really. No surgery or hospitalization at all.

So no need for Halloween this year, man, I already had my scare for the year.


Should be getting back to drawing today after a checkup. :D

After that, the semester is over, and there's no more classes till the end
of the month! That should give me plenty of time to catch up with projects and
drawings.

TinyBr :icontinybr: , I know I've gone WAY overdue on your request (It's been a whole year!!!)
I've got the basic sketch complete, though. I'll make sure to upload it this week.

As for Star-Sage :iconstar-sage:, your project has turned to be a lot more thrilling than I imagined. I was at Arby's with my brother yesterday and he came up with a wicked idea!!!
It's been a ton of fun doing the rough sketches and coming up with
the sequence... I'll start to upload them as I progress.

It was a tough call to choose who the giantess (or rather the normal-sized girl, in this case)
would be. I know we settled on Prudence to be the tiny, but for the girl she would be trying to get help from,
I had about 16 different candidates in mind. Lol.

So I called Zack and Josh over again, and we played FIFA 09 until one of us won the tournament.
Winner's pick. (A poll here in DA would have probably worked better and not taken as much time... but I didn't even think of that till about four seconds ago....)

The result? You guessed. Josh won again. 7-2 in the final match. (We gotta start inviting other people who aren't THAT skilled for future tourneys...)

I'm also making a lot of progress on that Soul Calibur fight comic I told
you guys about WAY BACK in '07. (the one with Sophitia and Talim)
I couldn't get the poses quite right after many attempts, so I grew discouraged
and lost interest in it for some time (So, Powor and Anime160, cheer up guys, you're not the only one it happens to)

However, we finally got SC4 for the Xbox now, so I was able to record Sophitia's move and now have a video file to look to for reference,
Talim and Sophitia's poses are now starting to look a lot more natural. heh heh. TinyChefThomas is gonna have a blast with this comic when it's finished.

I couldn't make a decision over which one to choose, so I got some friends together this weekend and we played a long, long tournament on FIFA 09 for the XBOX360 (we played for about four hours on Saturday, then we carried on today at 4pm and JUST FINISHED!) . Each one of us chose two ideas out of the list that we liked more, and then played against one another in FIFA until there was only one left.

The two ideas picked by the winner would be (1) for Canime's contest, and (2) a drawing I would do for that person.

I think it was kinda unfair, though, 'cause Joshua frickin' owns at that game and he beat the heck out of everyone. So now he gets to have his two ideas made into drawings... it wasn't even a close call. He won the last game 5-2.


Now, I won't give it all away, I'll just give you a hint, and you can picture it from there....

The first idea involves a hamster cage.... JUST THE CAGE, mind you. No hamsters involved at all, thank you very much. Lol.

The second involves a microwave.

Okay, we went, we saw... and we had our minds blown to pieces...

Simply put, The Dark Knight is the best frickin' superhero film ever made. The whole film is intense from minute one down to the end - it's dark, and feels surprisingly real. You won't even notice it's two and a half hours. In fact, you'll probably leave the theater begging for more....

Heath Ledger is terrifying. I never thought of using pencils like that....If I ever run into The Joker from now on I'll be running for the hills.

By the way, did anybody keep count of all the casualties in this movie? Unbelievable!

To make a long story short, I was almost done with a drawing that mixes "Brainwashed" and "Charmed"... I wanted to erase the background but chose the wrong layer and deleted all the ink outlines! I did not realize this until after I had hit "Save"....

So now I gotta go back and redo all the ink outlines, which since I'm just getting the hang of it took me about two hours. Good gracious!!!

Well, after having one of the craziest and probably most unnerving weeks in a very very long time (my favorite soccer team lost the championship to a team that didn't play like a champion should), looks like there'll be plenty of time to catch up with all the drawings I've been meaning to do.

I had this crazy idea for a sketch with Tila Tequila on it, (frankly, I can't stand the show OR her.... but I dunno, the way she is sort of made her the perfect subject for this drawing. Now I just have to figure out who's gonna be the one stuck to the...........um....I mean, MOVING ON!

I'd like to have that one online along with my continuation to Darkslade's rendering of "Tinybr and a giant vacuum".

You know? It's odd that after two years of working with the same company, just now I'm learning how it is that some of the machines that they buy work.... hehehehehe....and that's only because I'm trying to get everything right for the drawing. I never would have guessed that's what the beater bar and the fan on a vacuum were for! Glad I found out now, and not when it was too late, as will be the case for Jamie, Jenny, and Tinybr!

But I don't wanna give much away...Both of these should most likely be done (God willing) by the end of the week. Kudos to Karbo, by the way, his tutorial on lineart editing was a GREAT HELP!

Along the way I'll also be trying to add a mod to GTA San Andreas so I can play as Vincent, the contract killer from Collateral. Maybe I'll even throw Katie Holmes as one of the girlfriends in the game, make the atmosphere match....you know?

This month has by far been the toughest of the whole year. My long-awaited Arabic classes combined with work eat up three entire days of the week!!!

Fortunately, I was able to get back to drawing yesterday night while watching soccer...yay, Monterrey!

I had to go back and re-edit the Kerri Sheperd sketch after my art teacher pointed out that the posture was completely wrong....lol. I didn't think so at first, but then I stood in front of a mirror aiming a telescopic vacuum wand (only thing I found at home with a shape similar to a shotgun's), and man, was I off!! Lol. Goes to show I still have a WHOOOOLE LOT to learn. Not to worry, it won't take too long...I know it's been a LOOONG time, but this weekend looks REAL promising...

Oh yeah, my brother and I are in a debate about the O(me)lette drawing.... we can't decide which scenario is best...

My brother votes for having the omelette all cooked and about to be sliced...

I'm more for an omelette that is being fried in a pan...I dunno...

I know this probably sounds like the most ridiculous or senseless drawing Deviantart will ever see... but just wait for it...hee hee.

Cardcaptor Sakura sketch inspired by Seruomen's story at Eka's Portal. I love Meilin and Tomoyo by the way. I'm trying to capture them both precisely on this sketch. - 45%

Now That She's Gone Away - 25% For those who were wondering, yes, Olette is still in half.

O(me)lette - 25%. This might turn out a bit graphic...definitely only for vore fans. But I mean, seriously. If you make a character named Olette, you're pretty much asking for something like this.

Softer Than Wood - 25% - So Josh somehow invented a Photon Cannon and demonstrated it at a science fair. Sure enough, the photon ray blasted through a block of wood, but there was something else in the ray's path that apparently no one from Nickelodeon Studios saw when they filmed the episode....

No Wonder You're Extinct!!! - 25%
Basically, Dino City is about a boy and a girl who are accidentally transported back in time to the prehistoric period (or something like that - they mess around with their father's latest scientific invention and are warped into some kind of TV world with dinosaurs in it.) You can play as either the boy or the girl, and in each case you have a different dinosaur to help you out during the game. Oddly enough, this one level has these plants that.... oh, no! I won't give it away! Just wait and see!

Vacuum Converstation - Just started
So last Friday at my job I was looking for a vacuum to borrow for the weekend (I don't like to use those 25 -cents-for-a-minute-vacuums at the car wash). When I finally chose a vacuum, it turned out the bag was completely full. I suddenly remembered Tinybr's image where his character's about to get sucked up by a vacuum, and well...

I know I've been absent from here awhile as far as new drawings go. But my art history class finally ended, and there won't be anymore classes until September, so that means 4 months just for drawing and soccer.

Video project's coming along fine...I've made it through 7.5 hours of footage and found only a few usable clips. Still got 20 more hours to go. It's gonna be a LONG weekend.

But, okay, here's what I'm working on:

Kerri Shepherd (Deadeas' original character) - 85%
This one took longer than I expected because I was not familiar with Mass Effect and had to take my time to match the game's environment and enemies. I still need to work on Kerri's outfit, and this really cool special effect on the background....should be done by next Monday.

Chances are you will end up purposely losing a bunch of lives like me...but it's definitely a treat to watch. I've played the whole game three times just to see that part!

oh well, all the more time to finish up all the drawings I 've got left behind...and all the new ones I still wanna make! I have a bit of trouble managing time...especially since I'm also working on a video project and I need to go through 25 hours worth of footage...

Nonetheless, I'm working on one Soul Calibur comic, three Brainwashed comics, one Ned's Declassified sketch, and also a couple of OC sketches by request.

I'd also like to do another sketch with Sagira, Lorraine, and Marlene.... although I'm having trouble deciding what Misty should be doing to them this time!! Any ideas???
