Updating journal because Obaa told me to ages ago, and I never listened. Well, here it is now. Be happy.

These past few weeks have been hectic beyond belief. We got a lot of snow days, which pushed everything behind, and now it seems like everyone is just rushing to catch up. School is crazy, and I don't understand anything that's going on in math. But I'm making a cool thing of Danny's head in sculpture!

Urinetown rehearsals have been nonstop, but they're exciting! It's going to be a great show (WAY better than Grease, no doubt about it, in every way). I'm not the worst one in the pit, but I do have to play constantly, so my chops die the earliest. It's all good, though, I love the experience. Not to mention, Kim and I are havin' a party back there. "I'm cheesed off, mate!"

Everyone, and I mean everyone, should come see it. Buy your tickets early, you never know. Of course, it's probably not going to be a sell-out show, like last year. (Just because the title has to do with perfectly normal bodily functions that aren't even gross. If it was called "Shitville," I think would understand the problem.) But anyway, come.

Ami: Official tuba player. That was SO exciting! I could actually play things! We're playing some silly song in conert band, and my part only has about four notes in it. Four notes that I can totally play. <3 Concert band is going to be fun. Kim and Keith both got yelled at, which was way more amusing than you'd think.

The English test I had to make up was amazingly easy. There were only two matching things that I was unsure of, but I'm pretty certain now that I got them right. I went in there 7th period, and I think it's an IB class, but it was so amazing. There are only about ten students, and they sit in a circle. I wish I was in there, instead of packed into a class of what seems like 50. >.< Ugh, I hate big classes.

FHS kids: Bring a dollar and play the "Guess the Teacher" game!! The I.T. lab needs your money!

Going to see the Colored Museum on Friday, hopefully. Then the OSU-Michigan game on Sat. so Emily's having some people over. Then we're going to an after-party at Lauren's. (Supposedly. We're actually just going to watch SFU season 5. )

I hate challenges. I was worried about William challenging me, but he's playing the bass trombone, which means he won't. He likes bass anyway, he gets to play louder. Seriously, how loud does he sound from the front of the room? He's like a fog horn, or something! D:

Today has somehow managed to be a very good, and a very bad day.

I'm way too excited for Urinetown. It needs to be here, like, now.

Needed a new journal, and I'm bored out of my mind.

Six Feet Under Season Three: Bootlegged Asian Edition is all finished. With any luck, Lauren will buy Season Four so I can continue to exploit our friendship. Just kidding. She knows it's her fault I have this addiction in the first place.

Sweeney Todd is just as amazing as I always thought it would be. I finally saw the DVD about a week ago. Angela Lansbury continues to be one of the best people ever. I really hope that the rumours of Tim Burton directing a new movie are true, even though they probably aren't. The only "movie" of it is just a recording of the stage play, so it would be awesome to see it as a movie adaptation.

St. Karl is going to come down your ottoman and put presents in your thong. On Jockstrap, on Pashke! On desk, and on Pikachu! Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good the 70s!

Sousami is one step closer to coming into existance! Auditioning on trombone 8th period Wednesday, and on tuba some time shortly after that. My "audition" is basically going to be a ten-minute lesson with Weaver. I'm actually really looking forward to it.

Going to Urinetown with my dad tonight. That is going to be really weird. In a cool way, I hope. I'm really excited to see the show, anyway. Maybe I'll even be able to not sing along, for once.

AMRP is awesome. It's like crack to me. Huzzah.

I've been doing absolutely nothing these past few weeks. Sleeping in 'till 10:30-11:00, maybe some SIMS, AIM, RP, and watching LOST from 8:00 PM 'till around 1:00 AM. That's the best part. Unfortunately, tonight we'll be watching the two-part Season Finale. Augh! Season Two isn't on DVD yet!

Weird Al is awesome. I can't wait for his next album. It was supposed to be released by now, but it got delayed. Hopefully soon!

Hopefully going to see Lady in the Water tomorrow night, or Saturday. Emily is visiting from Montana, and she needs things to do. We went to the mall today. It was cool. I went in Build-A-Bear for the first time. I also bought Grendel and Beowulf, because I didn't want to check them out from the library again.

Does anyone know of a good website to get games for your TI83 calculator? Our cable was defective before, and we just got a new one, so now I can load some games on there, if I knew where to get them. I could try Google, but it'd be great if someone already knew a good, reliable place? I don't know.

I wish I had more to put on this thing. I feel bad for never updating, when I'm here almost every day. Everything I do is sketches. I don't even know what to do to go beyond that. I have crayolas and MSPaint. Hip hip mediocrity!

Graduation was really nice. Emily didn't cry, so I was very proud of her. The band sounded really good, too. Everyone seemed to think so. I totally beasted on The Eighties.

After a two year reign (of terror?), Hitler has finally passed. He was a good fish. He never tried to eat little Jou, though he did hog the fish food most of the time.

I can't go into my room until my dad comes home to move the tank out of there. I tried to do it myself, but I got about a foot away from the desk before I looked down and then my hands started shaking, so I just put it back.

So, we're going to see Grease tonight. Hooboy. I've been told to bring Ennis the Menace, a suggestion I might just oblige by. It's definately coming in the car, at the very least.

I'm feeling a lot better about everything, and I wanted to get that last journal off of my page. Things will work out, they always do.

I finally got around to actually searching for John Tartaglia's website off of Google [since the stupid Avenue Q site only talks about the current cast], and I found it, but it will not load. Grr! Anyway, I found an awesome Broadway site with a lot of good information and AMAZING pictures which have made my day 36% better already. Everyone loves a valiant return for the Censorship Ducky, especially when combined with the powers of Showertime Rod!

2006 is officially the Year of the Coolats.

Nori said she'd make me a John Tartaglia puppet that I can play with in the shower. I've decided that this would be undoubtedly the best thing ever. Cody knows what I'm talkin' 'bout. *le wink*

All this talk of the DaVinci Code movie is making me angry.

I was reading about John's last show on Broadway for Avenue Q and almost started crying. I am so pathetic.

So, I'm going to see Grease for my birthday this Thursday (my birthday isn't this Thursday, that's just when we're going), at the Carosel Dinner Theatre. I feel bad complaining, but... Well, my mom knew perfectly well that, in my opinion, Grease is the worst musical ever. Ever. All I've got to say is that someone had better take me to see Spamalot at the Playhouse to make up for it. *coughEmilyandDadcough*

In jazz band, Emily took my piano book over to Lauren (the pianist) and asked her to play Fantasies Come True. She had never seen it before, but she played it anyway, and it was absolutely gorgeous. It was the highlight of my day, definately. Later, I heard her playing it again, and she was telling another girl, "Here! Listen to this song, it's beautiful!" So I played her the actual song on my mp3 player, and she loved it! Unlike Emily, she has an appreciation for real vocal talents. *grin*

Everyone should send me a sweet, online Birthday card for my birthday on the 5th (of the June). Like a Q-card. I like Q-cards.

Today is a sad day. Today is the day Lauren has tickets for the Colbert Report, and they're not going. Because they're not going, that means that I can't tag along and go to Avenue Q tomorrow, on the 3rd. Le sob. Ah, well. Wouldn't that suck if I went to see it, the day before Rick Lyon's triumphant return? I think I would cry.

Ami is tired, sunburnt, and excessively color coordinated, but very, very happy. Summer is a wonderful thing.

I'm at Lauren's house with her, Shannon, Emily, Mark, and Cyrus. They're playing Kings, I'm on the computer, as usual. I kind of ran out of things to do. No one's on AIM. Augh!

We went on a [failed] movie marathon, and watched Capote and Crash. Both were absolutely fantastic. Let me add, however, that the ENTIRE plot of Crash can be summed up with the song, "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist." We wanted to get Brokeback, too, but the entire wall of DVDs at Blockbuster had been rented out. What the heck?! I want those special features!!

I'm listening to the power ballad, as usual. Words could not express how much I love this song. Rod = Love.

Emily, Lauren, Annaliese and I went to the Zoo and Azteca this morning. It was amazing. We taunted a large turtle and got our picture taken with the penguins. I was the only one in the group under the age of 18. I think. Annaliese might be 17. I'm not sure. We have the same birthday!

I can't get over how good those movies were. Damn.

I really, really don't want to go to that band parade in... eleven hours. Augh! Oh well. This weekend has been well worth it so far. Dang! It seems like so much time has passed, and it has only been one day.

Uhm. I just realized: Mark was supposed to be home at 11:30. And.. he's still here. And he's probably not going to be leaving any time soon. What a dofus.

Basics
1) What's your character's name? Ami-Kae Camberu
2) How old is he/she? The story started when she was 16, so that's what I immediately think of, but her entire life is detailed from "birth," to her death at the age of 26. Then we get into the afterlife...
3) Is your OC a boy or girl? Girl. Technically. She's about as much of a girl as I am, if that gives you any idea.
4) What's his/her race? Human, of Satupatin background.

Appearance:
1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get? None. She's pretty plain. Except, of course, on full moons.
2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world? She pretty normal, yes. Besides, of course, her being a werewolf, which is kind of common, but not accepted. So yes and no, depending on which planet she's on.
3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)? Her HUGE poofy bangs, which started way back when and I never had the heart to change. Besides that, she blends in very well, except for the hours before and after the full moon, when she's not quite her normal self.
4) Would you consider your OC as attractive? She's not a knockout or anything like that, but she's not UNattractive. She's certainly slept with enough guys, I guess they see something in her. o_o [Jeez, Ami, what a ho.]

Personality:
1) Temper: She gets upset VERY easily, and she only knows how to handle her emotions through violence, so this is not a good combination at all. She's also very jealous.
2) Does your character ever get depressed? Not really. She gets kind of emo, but then she goes and kills some kids and old people and she's right as rain again.
3) Leader or Follower? Both. She's usually a follower, but when she needs to, she'll take control and try to figure out what to do. She listens to anything Mori will tell her, but she has others (like Lex) at her beck and call
4)What is the main aspect of his/her personality? She's actually very caring. She wants love and family more than anything, she just goes about the wrong way to get it. She's also easily scared away from relationships (Example- Rem and Dash), and her jealousy and temper ruin a lot of opportunities.

History:
1) Does your OC have a family of any sort? She has her "mother," Aderyn, and Mori, who raised her and is like a mother figure. She has a son later on, but, sadly, that family doesn't last long. :[
2) Is your character out on his/her own? Not usually. Sometimes she gets lost on her own, but she's usually in a big flock. They're not necessarily friends, but at least they're company.
3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events? Pretty much, her entire life is a big traumatizing event. No wonder she's such a maniac.
4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far? Sadly, one of her best times was when she had lost her memory, and started a family with Rem. Once her memory was returned, she ruined it.

Romance:
1) Single? Hardly.
2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships? Her relationships are as thus: Rem, Lex (for pretty much ever), Logan, Rem, Braeden

Ennis the Menace has proven himself to be a great lil mp3 player. Though, I still miss Cornelius the Second, he had a great heir.

Watched the Oscars. I feel very happy for absolutely no reason.

School wasn't too bad today. Had three periods of band. That was a good time. "Liar, liar, pants engulfed in flame!"

In other news, you'll probably be seeing a lot more updates on my part. I'm probably going to put them into scraps, as usual, but, they're going to be there.

Probably a large percentage is going to be slash-related. I'm fairly certain that anyone bothering to read this journal already knows why. But, a quick recap for anyone who doesn't: There has been a kind of clashing going on over the past two weeks or so, over the particular pairings of Elfman/Burton and Jack/Victor. It's kind of getting out of hand on one side, but, it's just a frustrating ordeal. Talking to a brick wall kind of thing. Pretty frustrating, yes.

As for updates on here, my scraps has pretty much doubled in size. I'm probably not going to be moving anything out of scraps, even if they are finished, just because. I don't have anything 'Deviation' worthy.

Getting use out of the trial before it dies. ^^';;

So, today was, like, a million degrees. And we had to run the 200 in gym.. At least that was all we did. And I did it in under a minute.. which is really sad. But Alanna and Ashlynn and I were skipping along for at LEAST a quarter of it, so, I'm happy.

We should be going bowling soon anyway.. Thursday? That should be fun. AND- Erin is letting me borrow Into the Woods and Running With Scissors. A Weird Al album I don't have?! Go figure. And Into the Woods.. well. Everyone needs that! Especially since a certain person named George let someone borrow our copy, and they didn't give it back..

That's about it for me.. Nothing much is going on besides gym. Which is sad. Dreadfully sad.

I mean, first off, I go to school early for quartet practice, and due to numerous complecations, we decided to cancel it, so I got to hang out with my friends again! (It's only been a week, but it still felt like I hadn't seen them in FOREVER!) Then I had my jazz band exam, which wasn't an exam at all. We had the whole hour to run through our "tunes" for the "gig." () Then, concert band. Now, this test was a LOT harder than I thought it would be. I have a feeling it won't count for much. If I don't get an A in that class, someone will feel the pain of my wrath. The test only took a little bit, so we had practically the whole period to just talk and hang out. He said we could play CDs, and I wanted to go put in Oingo Boingo sooooo bad (I'd left my headphones at home. I'm so dumb.) , but I was too chicken. Besides, I don't even know how to work the thing. Anyway, I finished off the school day with another hour long practice, this one for combos. A few people were missing, but it was a pretty good run through. I had to solo on Freddy the Freeloader, but I thought it went pretty well. Compared to how I usually do, I mean. I was supposed to solo on Straight No Chaser, too, but then everyone forgot, and I couldn't believe my luck.
As I waited for my ride, I sat outside with my sister and some friends, and it was great. The weather was absolutely fabulous... And, added to loading the drum set on to the trailer, it felt exactly like one of those autumn afternoons before a football game. Man, I miss marching band!!

Normally I wouldn't complain, but, it's probably going to be run by the band director, as opposed to my Spiffy Schiffy, who's taken off for good.
I've still got a lot of homework to do, but I've got almost three hours to do it, so I should be fine.
We've got one week of school before finals, and with grades closing, I'm probably going to have a lot of homework, as well as tests and such. Ack! Not to mention, dance starts again this week, which is another 45 minutes taken up. My dad's still trying to get Sims2 to work, but, I don't see when I'm going to have time to play it! I figure it's one of those games you'll have to play for hours if you start it.
But, for good news, dad's also bidding on the Farewell! DVD, and a 12x12 boingo poster!
My sister and I went to our friend's house for New Years, and we watched a few epidsodes of the OC. It wasn't exactly my thing, but she loved it, so, we're probably going back next Saturday to watch more. That gives me another thing to look forward to.
