BARELY got anything IMPORTANT done, because today I had to take the final exam for my Life Management Skills class. AND ON MY SPRING BREAK, TOO.
Which almost reminds me...on the 8th of this month, it'll be exactly ONE HALF of a year since I joined Deviantart. I've been here so long already...longest I've ever stayed anywhere, really... But...thanks for everyone who's been there for me. This site makes me happy. I've had my ups, my downs, fears, joy...I remember my first gift, my first argument, my first spammer...and I love those memories. My old art compared to my new art. I have a feeling I've grown art-wise...not much in personality, though...maybe in some eyes I've grown, but hopefully in a good way!
For some odd reason, I'm back to my Enchanted-mania. I can't help loving that movie, for more reasons than one. It was my first date, the first live-action Disney princess movie that I LOVE, and definitely my new favorite Disney character overall...Amy Adams was so loverly. Can't wait to go to Disney World when she's a meet-able character (I heard you couldn't talk to her yet, now she's just for show at parades and carriage rides and such...) *ish jealous of *bri-chan who got to meet her at the Enchanted premiere*
And why is it that every dress I see on screen from a movie like Sweeney or Enchanted, I immediately want for my own? It'd be complicated, but...I'd love it to be my wedding gown. In that beautifully dark room, with candles and black and purple flowers, orchids from the roofs...torn wallpaper, red carpet...empty pews or full...does it matter? And instead of a podium, a table, and on it, a carved smile on a fresh orange pumpkin, held by a plushie I love so very much.

Well, as you can prolly guess from my enthusiasm, I got my DVD Sweeney Todd.
Yesterday I had a CPR class...not only did I have a lot of fun reviving a mannikin for 3 hours, I finally graduated from that one course that I had to take online.
And the mudkips are gone! YES! Can this day get any better?
Yes. Actually...Yes it can.

A stupid Trojan Horse Virus ravaged my computer last night and destroyed a lot of files of mine...

I might be overexaggerating a bit, though, I tend to do that...but I feel as if everyone knows something about me that I don't seem to know, and they're keeping their distance...

I got a note the other day from a random person warning me about Ami, and the recent attention her/Nergal Jr has been getting lately... In other news I've been trying to find out if my Ami was in any way a Mary Sue...>>; You know how people get. "Oh, she's a Sue because she died in a car accident bladahbladahblah." I never thought that the story behind her could ever really be sue-ish...I just wanted some personal reassurance. that she wasn't.
So I took a test to figure out if Ami was in any way a sue, and fortunately, I got 9 points out of 100. Though this is an unhealthy, supposedly boring level...So she is not a Sue, she's just a supposedly unhealthy level of boredom...but I don't think so...
Really, I don't see how she can be a Mary Sue. She's not even an anti-sue...and the Nergal Junior "relationship" she seems to hold in the eyes of some people was never truly boyfriend/girlfriend, though the real Ami wishes that sometimes I could just go and give him a REAL hug...it is more of a best friends/brotherly-sisterly/protector friendship. (Wow, now, THAT sounded Mary Sue-ish. )

Well...I feel really happy today. I don't even know why...I just do. I just finished watching a bunch of videos my uncle sent me of my family back when we were TV stars, directors, and singers. I have a very artistic family...
But I was shocked to see my MOM acting in one of these tapes...I couldn't believe it! My mom never told me she'd been an actress too! So you could imagine my surprise when I put in an episode of an old show, "La Torre 10", and found my mom, 20 years younger, still just as pretty as she is now. And she was SUCH A GOOD ACTRESS! And as we were watching, she said, "Oh wow...I'm...not that bad!"
She really wasn't, she was GREAT, I was very into her performance...and we were all questioning why she didn't remain in showbusiness...but she said she thought at the time that she wasn't good...
And my uncle is a very good singer! He used to win a lot of spanish contests...I'm thinking about recording one of his old songs and giving it a new twist...I'mma Ami-fy it!

And today, my mom is taking me out in the afternoon to spend some family time. To the mall, to Hot Topic and...what I've been waiting for...

A HAIRCUT!
My hair was getting unreasonable...I can't have my hair two inches longer than it should be, and TOUCHING MY SHOULDERS! AND MY NECK AND MY BACK AND--** Oh...sorry...

And a lot of you guys gave me so many nice presents! I loved them ALL...I'm considering making a collection file for all the gifts you guys have made me...I love them all so very much. Every single one...
I never thought when I signed up for this that I'd ever even get ONE gift art...it's an honor.
But at the same time it was a not so happy birthday.
My sis is in drama, and has a bad knee, and one of the moves in the choreography for the play she's doing requires her to be tossed to the ground...and her knee cracked and she came home crying, and when she saw me, she put on a brave face: she didn't want me to cry for her on my birthday...she's just so sweet...I love her so much.
Then there are other issues...school was...BORING...very uneventful. I got a job answering phones for my History teacher BUT I'M SCARED OF PHONES! And my pen exploded in History too...and in English, I had to write a poem 20 times and the teacher still isn't happy about it! And I have a project, and the whole time I felt a bit lonely...I mean, yes, I had people to talk to...but it didn't fully feel like my birthday after the morning ended.
Nickelback cheered me up. I wanted to buy "Silver Side Up", (the album Jack gave Junior in DD) but my mom said I could just download it...but it's not the saaaaaaame. TT^TT

But I got cake...and a candle...and I made my wish...I...I hope it comes true...

I grow up too fast...I just want to stop and be a kid forever, you know? Today's the final test I have to take and then this'll all just be over...and I won't have to worry about my scores until...like...MAY or something...

So sorry I haven't done much lately...I was working on a picture for And then Photoshop had a strange error and SHUT DOWN. Luckily, I snapped a printscreen image before it shut down completely. So in a way it was saved...well...half of it anyway. And It was so preeeeeeetty... ;w;
So it won't be done in time for before you leave for Ireland/England/Wherever else you may go. But I guess you'll just be surprised when you get back. In the meanwhile, Have fun meeting Sweeney at Fleet St., Basil of Baker St., and Jack in Ireland! (Possibly the Phantom as well if you ever go to France.)

SOMETHING NOT AS SERIOUS:

Myeh...also yesterday I spent 2 HOURS waiting outside the high school to be picked up. I don't like buses... So I just wait.
And I was just sitting at the bench looking at a picture and some guy who works there comes and I don't notice him, he doesn't tell me to move, because the next second, the water sprinkler system turned on and I was soaked...dammit, then everyone LAUGHED. <--(Hah...I wish.) And the picture broke because of the water.
But it wasn't a total loss. My good friend was also in a very similar plight so we spent the whole time talking about the cars, the stupid icecream truck that came by every so often, and we were plotting how to make another friend confused about what we were talking about... Oh my...
Two hours later I came home, still a bit wet, cold, hungry, tired and with a headache, and that guarantees a pissed off Ami... Sooooo...yeah. Hope it doesn't happen again...
Oh, THAT, and someone drew a Shoop da Woop on the board in chorus and I started laughing.

Myeh...not having a big party or anything, I just want to take that day to relax and enjoy my time with something...or someONE. *pokes Jr. Plushie*...but I'm probably just going to treat it like a regular day.

On a completely unrelated note, I REALIZED that "Ami" means "friend" in French, "Amiga" (friend) in Spanish and "friendly" In Japanese. Oh, the IRONY. I mean, I knew the French and Spanish, but it's like I just realized that Ami's name and the word are related to it...so that's really creepy, considering how I'm all for friendship.

As for the animation that I promised the Pumpkin Roses:
The opening dance is almost complete, but I'm going to fill in the spaces and credits and such with little Jack/Girls moments. And I'm doing something cool with the current pages as well. I hope you gus don't mind that I'm taking so long to get this finished! It'll probably be a few more months. It's taken me three to do the first part!
So sorry...

And last night I started something else, without guidelines...I kept kicking myself, "NO, FINISH PR FIRST!" And so I discontinued it for a little while. So for now, my priorities:

1. Pumpkin Roses Animation. (Patience, my friends.)

One of my wishes is coming true.
My mother talked to the Vice Principal of my school and they told me that I just needed to show a portfolio of my drawings to the teacher, to see if I qualified for the transfer. TO ART!
I was told I couldn't do it before, but now I am, and I'm bouncing off the walls! The best part is that I don't have to leave piano to go to art! I just have to leave chorus! It's what I wanted. It's what I always wanted.

On top of that, I have to finish up my little gifts to my dear friends!

I'm sorry I haven't been drawing like I usually do, since the only programs that seem to be working well are my word processing programs, (which is great, because the collab that I'm currently working on is a fanfic), but I figure I could try to work even though there are lots of glitches in my art programs at the moment...

There are some stupid Standardized Tests that will determine my passage into 10th grade. I'm surprised at how I performed last time I took the test! It's all just too much.

So I need to work on a few art pieces that have been neglected since my computer stopped being nice to me. I need to get ready for these dumb tests. And I need to work on creating a portfolio for my evaluation.

Not to mention that I have quite a few ideas for comics crammed into my head. One that is quite funny, the other is a bit more sentimental...Ami's story. And I found a great way to intetwine her destiny in that story with the life of another individual in Dorm Days.

I spent it writing a fanfic...I haven't done a writing project this big since...last year...
But...now that I'm so absorbed in the Dorm Days Diary project...
I dun wanna go back to school.
Especially not tomorrow...I'm going to have to stay for a few hours after...which means that I'm not going to be able to work on the Dorm Days fic tomorrow a lot...like I want to. Not to mention that my internet hasn't been working properly for the whole day, so instead of Firefox, I had to use explorer...so I had no email, couldn't do any online homework...but at least I could still write all that I did today. I'm starting to get used to this.
The story kind of inspired me to do another photomanip...again. Gosh, why? I guess it's because I'm writing things through Junior's eyes. Plus, I finally found out how to do the flippy thingie on his head! You just need lots of gel, and lots of time.

The eyes and glasses are an obvious photoshop, (my eyes are black. )cause I didn't want the flare of the camera to ruin them, but I'm actually quite proud of the end result...the closest I could get to looking like Nergal Junior.I dunno, just felt like throwing in the lens flare. Use your imagination. It could be Ami's stupid interpretation of a lame firefly. It could just be the light of a motorcycle. But Junior did (The plushie, for anyone who was confused). A girl brought him a Valentine she had made for him, because she thought that no one else would get him a present and she was worried about him. It was so cute!
The good part of today was that I was told that everything was being done to try to get me a transfer. So my dream of being in art might come true!
Today is the anniversary of Aunt Sis and Nergal. You guys should see the house! There's a nice candlelit dinner, and cake and champagne! And streamers everywhere! It's so cute!
And Nergal Junior's Birthday is in two weeks!

God we're acting silly...it's just a holiday...but it's a scary holiday!!!

There's probably going to be a Valentines Day school dance that I'm not going to. I'll prolly never even go to prom. Everyone else is like, "Are you crazy, that's the most important night of every high school girl!" Um, no it isn't.
Tomorrow I find out who our music teacher is...if of course, the rumors I heard about a new teacher being hired are true. *sigh* Why now, in the middle of the year, just as we're getting are subject selection sheets signed! TT_TT Why did our music teacher have to leave? Now my chances of getting art as an elective are slimmer than ever. I can't go to college with just self-taught methods! I still need to know the basics, and everything else!
My mom and my friend tells me that my voice is still as good as it used to be, but I feel like I've gotten so much worse...a few days ago I was singing and playing the piano, and half of the class was mocking me, saying that I had a weak voice...
I really want to switch to art, but it looks like I'm stuck with this bad choice for the rest of my high school life...

As many of you non-subscribers have noticed, there is now a stupid ad in our galleries.
So now we have some advertisement in our galleries. How wonderful. Not only is it jarringly painful to look at, but it's extremely unattractive and takes the focus away from our art!!! Some of us don't necessarily have a credit account, so we can't make the problem go away just by buying a subscription (which is why they probably did this...)
And it's kind of unfair. To you who can afford a sub, have one donated to you, or to the staff of Deviant Art, it's not a problem or a concern. But to the others it sucks.
It's just THERE! And it's so sad...

Meh. I had a cute little dream that I think was inspired by 's avatar contest entry for the PR contest.
I remember finding a little storybook. There was a little pumpkin-shaped locket. Inside was a key.
When it finally opened, the words were all written in gold. It was such a sad story! It was all just a retelling of Jack's story, only sadder.
There were little pictures of Jack while he was still a human (and I thought, "I never thought much about his human head but it's cute." Well it is!) And it told every prank he played. Every single one. (Did I mention that the book was HUGE?) And it made me wonder: Why did he live all alone? Was it because no one liked him?
When I woke up I went and watched it. And I freaking cried. Because I never thought about it that much. I mean, I know to some extent...but I never...KNEW
Same with Junior. Today I just had a little fluttery feeling about him. I held him tightly and I stooped low, and all my friends started laughing asking if he was singing me a silent song and if he was a good singer...but I just realized.

...Poor Jack. It's times like this that I want to hug him. Better yet glomp him. <-- FORCE FIELD!

I went to 's quince (15th birthday party), and it was fun as hell. It started out as just a few of us, hanging out at a table and playing "Never have I ever" and stuff like that. Then we went inside, started watching Star Wars III, and I almost freaking puked and had a heart attack...
So I had to step outside...a few friends followed me, and then Clara ran out and screamed "EDWARD SCISSORHANDS!!!!!!!!" And I'm like, "OMFG!" And we ran inside and watched it. I've watched this movie 1,000's of times, and I cried! AGAIN! But this time I wasn't alone.

I always cry at movies...
And then we played "Wolf"...god that was fun!
Then we played the "Dead Game"...it's a game where you collapse to the ground, and people move you around and put you in weird positions. If you laugh, move, talk, you lose. I won twice! See, what I did was die in already too weird positions. A friend walked up to my dead body, looked at me, and said, "God, you're lucky you're a contortionist."
But I hope that when I die, I won't have my grave robbed. I was so afraid! I was holding him tight in my arms, when all of a sudden I heard a deep male voice laughing saying, "I have a nice doll now!"



I felt broken, empty, panicked. I wanted to scream. But I could only cry, whimper, and hope that no one would hear me. My sister found me crying and then I'm like, (crap I've ruined yet another party with my childishness...) They all comforted me, and eventually we found Junior. I guess we are kind of connected. When he's gone, a part of me dies. That's why I take him everywhere with me.
The rest of the party, we acted retarded, dancing and laughing and playing in the dark. See, I'd only do half the stuff I did there in the darkness of night so no one could see me.

Prepare to be amazed by my constant shifting of topics!

Omg...

Yesterday, my friends and I were playing a card game called MASH (Mansion Apartment Shack Home) to determine what our future lives would be life, but only we focused more on who we'd marry when we grow up. But sadly they couldn't be cartoons... So I had a hard time picking people. I finally had picked people on all category except for the Diamond: A friend who you like as a friend. So my friend grabbed it, wrote something and giggled. When I looked at the paper I saw she'd written Maxwell Atoms.

WTF?

So we played, and I had a great chance of marrying my first of choice. With my first choice we were poor and in love, lived in a decent house and had two kids. With Mr. Atoms we didn't really care much about each other, we were making decent money, and lived in a huge mansion with 2 kids. With my third choice, we lived in a shack with 5 kids, made average salary, and were a little in love. And with my least compatible person who I HATE...lived in an average home, but are poor and had no love, but 3 kids.
And the outcome was that everyone wanted to marry my first choice, I wanted to marry my 3rd choice, and I ended up with...drumroll please.
Maxwell Atoms.
They wouldn't stop calling me Mrs. Atoms for the rest of the day.

Sorry for the random outburst...
It's just that this is getting to be a bit ridiculous. The 400x500 page pixeling is becoming so difficult! I don't think I'll retain the style. I want to go on with the comic, but not the style. It's too small, the pixels are getting on my nerves on every page! I'm so frustrated!!!
So I'm redoing everything to a more easy style and page type to keep up with...plus, I can fix all the errors in the first one, especially panels 1 and 4...

My mom kinda felt bad for me losing my one final connection to Cartoon Network (and my favorite game) So I guess that's what made her promise to get me cable for my birthday... So I guess that I got SOMETHING good about it....speaking of birthdays, Jr.'s is in a month! And Double D!
But I can't believe it! I had to get every one of the characters TWO TIMES and it took me lots of effort, and now I've just lost them all!

So yeah...also, my music teacher left, and I can't switch out of majors.

SO...
I've decided to start working on a comic that came from a dream that I found too much of a good idea not to make it into a comic. But it's not like the other comic's I've made in the past.
It's a pixel comic.
Because that's the form of the dream that I had. And I loved it. :3
The scary thing is that every single character from Billy and Mandy appears, from Lord Pain to Pud'n, From Jack to Sperg, and of course, my mind had to throw Ami in there somehow.
The funny part: some of YOU GUYS make little cameos.
Not telling you who, I want you to be surprised.
It actually has a storyline! I just hope I don't discard the idea or discontinue it. I think it'll be fun, a little break from "Freaks!" was a bit necessary at this point. Plus I've always wanted to draw all the characters in pixel format!

Yep. Jack. From Billy and Mandy.
I just have to point this out to y'all, because it's just so creepy! Have you ever met a person that reminds you of a character from Billy and Mandy?
Well I just did.
Today at the eye doctor...
...I swear to god, my optometrist is a freaking Jack clone. He has the EXACT same voice, and didn't stop telling little side jokes. The irony was that I was dressed all in black wearing a red scarf, (and of course) my glasses, which at this point, don't work at all for me cause I'm so blind. But seriously, I laughed so hard I almost got my eye poked out! _ That would have been disastrous.
And not just a week ago, I saw a guy while I was driving around that I thought had a PUMPKIN on his head. I was so freaked out, but when I looked back, it wasn't a pumpkin, it was just his hair. Silly me.
But I guess that it opened my eyes. Everyone has these people around them that reminds them of someone. A friend of mine is a complete Mandy. She never smiles and is always sarcastic. Another friend of mine is the Boogeyman, he always tries to scare me but fails miserably. (Then again, no one can scare me that easily...)
And now what is with all these Jacks???
To others, I guess I am Junior. I am not saying this because I am a fan who tries to make herself look like him on purpose. No, I pride myself on my effort to break away from images of others. But I don't even think that I look like him very much, but I get comments all the time IRL that I look like the "Creepy tentacle kid from Billy and Mandy".

OPINION AND SPOILER WARNING! Do not read below if you haven't been current with Grim Tales
I was really kind of disappointed in the development in the story.
Especially now. I just can't believe that there's a possibility that NEITHER child belongs to Grim. Not even Grim Jr. I mean, Minnie was pretty obvious, at least to me, that she was a Nergal child. The tentacles and the eyes gave it away. But even though I've KNOWN, now that Bleedman actually verifies it, it's just...surreal. But then, who IS Grim Jr.'s father?
One thing that really touched me was when Bleedman mentioned abortion. That all children who are aborted are the children of Death. But that only means that Grim will never TRULY grasp the happiness of parenthood...only have to deal with the dead children that never were. And he may not even love his "daughter". That's just so sad.
Well, now that we've touched that subject: I am not big on JuniorXMandy romance. The thought of them together is painful to me. She'd freakin' murder him! ESPECIALLY in this comic. But the thought of them having a child?

I heard somewhere that the story was originally going to be about Junior and a lot of other supernatural children (Grim Jr. and Minnie Mandy included) That would have probably been better, because then it would have been a bit less shocking, seeing as how none of the characters would be able to have each other (seeing as how in this version, the children would have all been friends, not completely related). I think it would be cuter, actually. And I would adopt the concept if I was good enough to draw like that, which I am not, so it just remains an idea scattered to the winds.
Not that, of course, I don't like Grim Tales. I love it. The storyline is completely immersive, with crossovers that actually make sense. The characters are imaginative, and the new character designs for GAOBM originals are just awesome (eg. Nergal and Jr.).
...It's just that...
I just can't stand it. I just hate this page.
*puts on cheerful fangirlish face* But I will continue reading, just for the sake of finding out what happens next. His stories and comics are all so beautiful and well drawn. I can only hope to one day be like him.

Well, today is Maxwell Atoms' birthday! Without his creations, I'd probably still be really depressed. His cartoons are really my main inspiration for my career choice and my drawings. Sorry if I offend anyone...

The other day, I saw an episode of Billy and Mandy in spanish. Las Sombrias Adventuras de Billy y Mandy. Meh...it was the closest to seeing Nergal Jr. in Portugese. But they change a lot in the spanish version! Grim's name is Puro Hueso, which means Nothing but bones... Nergal's name is Orco and Jr.'s name is Orquito.
And Jr.'s voice did not suit him very well... I'd say the American voice acting sounds a bit better, but that's just because I grew up watching the American version. Uy...I guess I'm fated to see that episode in every language.

Oh, and I did something new!

I washed my awesome plushie by hand. Something I've never done with confidence... Because I'm always afraid something terrible will happen... And I dunno why. So now he's sparkly clean!
It was so fun!
Last night, I talked to him in the dark about the stars and the moon...stuff like that...what I'd say to comfort him. It was very nice... And very fulfilling. I told him I'd keep the nightmares away from him if he promised to keep mine away....And guess what? I didn't get that scary recurring dream again.

:3 I don't know...it's been a while, and I think in these few months that I've been on here I've learned quite a bit about myself. I guess I found out little by little that maybe I'm not such a bad person.


And I feel that I've been a bit more free with my art...One second I use Photoshop, the next I use PSP7...and I am even beginning to develop a style. Ami has broken away from me in these six months of her existence. She tends to be more cheerful and content. I am a gloomy person who tends to speak in her tenor range at lowest volume and contemplate life.

And my art is improving...I feel worthy now of having a subscription, but I have to wait a while until I have enough money pooled up for a yearly subbie...

But I have also noticed a change in my attitude...I'm happier. I'm not so shy, and the other day I ordered popcorn...ALL BY MYSELF!!! 8D Well that's one fear conquered. Next fear to conquer: Arachnophobia!!!

I've finally gotten over that stupid dream and I've begun to do some fun stuff with life and I did it in only 2 days!

My sister's friend (6), my sis (7) and I (9) went to record a movie. It's dumb but very cute and funny, there's a lot of Zac Efron bashing and sleepover randomness. And Jr. is in it for the lulz... And there are just some scenes that are drop dead hilarious. I'm going to put it through Sony Vegas Studio and put in some effects that are to die for.

On another note, today I took Jr. to meet my friends at school...unfortunately, the poor thing had a panic attack. :<
They were all clamoring for him and telling him how cute he was. Meh...speaking about school...why couldn't Winter break last forever??? Now I can't be on 24/7 to check on the comments you leave me. :<

I'm pretty sure that the things I do have an effect on people around me...my friends wouldn't have given a second thought about Jr. if I hadn't started to sketch him in my sketchbook...and Jr. wouldn't have this much love around him if all you fangirls hadn't told the world about how much you wuvvles him. *hugs Jr. lightly in his sleep* He's worn out. Let's just say that if he was real and lived in our world, he would never complain about a lack of friends. :3

It took me a while to sleep last night because of a pain in my legs that kept me from keeping them still…

The dream started with Jr. and he was walking in the night, and he was tired, beaten up, and weak…and he collapsed… (I’m guessing he had a very rough day at school…
From his body rose black demonic plumes that blinded the moon and darkened the skies, and it began to rain. A dark voice began to sound out and everyone heard it. And it was whispering to Jr. I was walking on the bridge when it turned dark, and before it did, I saw him lying on the floor, but I also saw a shadow speaking to him…telling him something that could not be good.
I ran up to him, and the sky turned red. The cityscape turned black. Everything was consumed by darkness. And Jr. became absorbed by the shadow, and it was so painful to watch, he was whimpering in pain.
And then he rose from his body, and he was nothing but a shadow. Every feature of his became dark in complexion, and his eyes glowed red in the darkness of the night.
I began to run, but he kept running after, and his tentacles extended from his back and caught me. He reopened the scar on my cheek, and stopped for a moment, and I saw white specters and ghostly memories come out from my scar and flow into the tears that began to fall from his face. For a moment, he turned back into his normal self, but eventually, he turned back, and dropped me. I couldn’t feel my arm.
I stood and watched as he destroyed everything around him.
And I ran up and I hugged him trying to stop him from thrashing around, and then Hoss Delgado ran up with Grim and Billy and Mandy, and there was this huge battle against Jr. It was an epic and long brawl of shadow selves, and I tried to stop Grim from sending Jr. to his death, when suddenly, I fell down and it was dark. When I woke up from this darkness, I looked out of a window and saw that it was day. The city was back to normal. The shadows were gone. But where was I? I looked around, and everything was white. A nurse came in and told me that I was shot by Hoss Delgado in the battle, and I was in the hospital. When I asked about Jr., she told me he had died.
…
Ok, I’ll stop crying now…
…
And then I ran out of the hospital, and my legs hurt from running, and I ran up to the abandoned pizza joint that Grim once owned to get revenge on the Nergals…and I found the imprint that Jr. had left on the wall, and I cried. And the last thing I heard as I faded into the darkness was Jr.’s voice, telling me that everything was going to be all right.

And when I woke up for real, I was hugging my Jr. plushie tightly and the pain in my legs was no more.

Yeah...I needed to get rid of that thought...

Well I finally have a name and logo for it. For everyone who came up with a title, thank you all. I love you guys. I took all of your ideas into consideration, and in the end, is the closest guess to the actual title. And the title is:

Freaks!

How much more simple can it get? I got it when thinking, mainly after I took a break from development, when someone bumped into me and called me a freak. Then it hit me. Kids all go through this stage where whoever is weird is officially a freak. And with a few reject vampires and a couple of other oddities, what other title would be so fitting?

All of the main characters have gone through a development phase. I stayed true to the original designs, but I gave them some new features that were different. And now they both look a lot different than the concept art. Even Ami has gone through changes for this comic. And I feel more free with this style.

I am doing the comic with markers in my sketchbook, and every two-three pages I shall update. I'm having lots of fun making it, and I hope that you all will enjoy it when it's up.

Meh…2007 was a scary year in the beginning, cause of my music teacher. She was just really fearsome… It was even scarier in March when I actually went to file a complaint about her treatment of the students, and she stalked me there and then started yelling at me in front of the counselor…I felt like the floor melted and I was on a rollercoaster, but I couldn’t scream…and then my mom sent an email complaint and BAM! I was free faster than you could say emo.
Then everything went uphill. I stopped doing the terrible destructive acts I had been performing, and decided to change my outlook on life. I had a great birthday at my home, no party of course, as I hate social events…
And then in May, my grandfather died. He was a famous and beloved Brazilian T.V director. May he forever rest in the arms of the angels…
My summer was kinda good, but kinda terrible…my dad had to go to the hospital for arrhythmia (a heart condition that means he has an irregular heartbeat), and had that terrible doomy feeling that he was going to die. But he didn’t, and that made me extremely happy. I started to watch cartoons again. I had cable in the summer…ah memories… I stopped watching anime so much, and I got into cartoons more. And I created Ami.
I became very distant in the beginning of the school year, very pensive and angsty…I was wondering if high school was really like they showed it in movies and cartoons…nerds being thrown headfirst into toilets… Jocks and preps making out…(Well, the latter part is true…our school is a makeout fest…
And in chorus I met . She had a similar hairstyle as me, really short with some untamed hair near the crown. I was like, “Oh em gee I have a clone! ”
And then in the middle of the class, Clara and another girl started singing a Naruto song, interrupting me and some of my new friends from sitting in an “emo circle” and singing Evanescence, so I turned around and said, “Shut up!” and that is how I met my best friend.
And now for fandoms.
Yay for fandoms! I've only had four fandoms this year...this year was the end of my HUUUUGE InuYasha fandom, and then I started watching FHFIF obsessively, mainly because of the cuteness of Wilt, and then I got back into GAOBM...I remember how I first saw it... A long time ago in 2005, my friend gave me an InuYasha DVD she recorded from Cartoon Network and it apparently recorded for the whole day, so I thought, “What the hell I'll just watch it”...and on that DVD was the episode Sister Grim/Son of Nergal...I paid no real attention to it, but I do remember thinking that Jr. was adorable…no feelings yet, just, “Aww, poor kid…”
The next day I was finally able to have a conversation with my friends about cartoons…because I had no cable then either. And when I mentioned Nergal Jr., there were mixed reactions. Either they hated him or liked him. I went to PEARL today and got lots of colorful markers...it cost a lot of money... But it's worth it, because they're beautiful!
And now the reason for my happiness:


HE CAAAAAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been so long, but HE IS FINALLY HERE!!!

I got my ADORABLE Nergal Jr. plushie by !!!! He's so beautifully crafted! I dragged him practically ever! (Well it was only Publix, but...)
And he came with a mini Mr. Bonkers plushie and a picture of him with Nergal! I'll scan it later, as well as put up some pictures later... I luv him so much! Thank you so much!!! *hugs Shadow*

I'mma go get ready for Shrek the Halls. :3

We went to see it for my mom's birthday. I just got home from watching it and it is now my favorite movie of all time! This was the best adaptation that I have ever seen!
So much blood...

The acting was great, the musical score was gorgeous! I must get the CD!
I never knew how hot Johnny Depp's singing voice was. And Helena Bonham Carter changed the character of Ms. Lovett...but I loved her change. She turned Ms. Lovett into a woman who was considerate and a bit more normal than the old versions. And Tobias was so cute! I wanted to pinch his cheek! X3
My mom and I came out of the theater singing "Nothing's gonna harm you" and "Greenfinch and Linnet Bird".
I am in love with Ms. Lovett’s dress.
And I just got the greatest idea for a picture ever.

I hope you all can see it soon. I'm off to draw!
