I managed to make it through school and still keep both jobs.

Now I've decided to take a break from school, work all of next year, and save money to move out at the end of next summer/fall.

This is going to be an interesting year, and this one has been as well, to say the least.

It really seems like this year has gone by in mere seconds. Yet, things that were earlier in the year, seem like they happened last year, so long ago. It's crazy, dude. Just think... only about 3 weeks left of this year before 2010. Now try to remember something about 2 months ago... Seems like a lot longer eh? -shakes head-

i hope i'll be able to upload some stuff soon. now that i have a little more time on my hands, i hope. i'll be working more with the semester ending, but yea. I'm in a writing mood lately and had a reeeeally interesting idea for a book which i'm probably going to write into a short story first to get the main ideas down. I really hope to get that going soon. Wish me luck hey? Maybe I'll post excerpts from it periodically, but I really hope to redo my dA and delete a bunch of old stuff from my gallery and clean it up.

I've been doing a lot of drawing lately, due to the fact that I'm in a drawing course, but that's beside the point.


Mostly, I've been designing my tattoo.. But then I found out they can't do it where I want it. Sigh. So now I have to redesign it some to go elsewhere that they will tattoo. Apparently the inside and outsides of the foot don't tattoo well, haha. Only the top. =[

But otherwise, my main idea with it will still work, I just need to find new obvious curves of my foot/ankle/calf to make things follow along and whatnot. I may do my neck tattoo first though... But i'm terrible at tribal designs. If you know of any really good examples to learn from that'd be awesome if you could pass them on to me. Like with tribal lettering and such.



On another note: I'm very excited for this art class I'm in. It's with a teacher whom I took classes from when I was homeschooled 3-4 years ago. He's an excellent teacher too. Really really innovative and such. I've been in a design slump for..... awhile now, but, this class has started getting me thinking and such again, more in the traditional art forms again, but nonetheless, it's creatively again. So, soon, I hope to be getting back into my web designs and whatnot.

I wish there were a better way to post my traditional art than taking a picture of it, since I don't own a scanner, and even those don't do much justice. If ya'll have any suggestions for me, that'd be great. Otherwise, I'll try to post some of the work he's having us do. Most of it is sloppy work, due to them being only gesture drawings and whatnot. SOme conture drawings too. But nothing too detailed as of yet.


And as for an ending note:

I'm beginning to clean everything up around here. Probably gunna reorganize my deviations before I add to them. Also cleaning up things in my life as well. Been... a lot going on around here.

But I'm back in dancing (yay!). I have my first performances in about a year on Saturday. Gunna be fun (plus new costumes ).

My money funds are going back up again. After buying a car and paying for school and such... I can finally start saving again so I can move out next year.

Speaking of which, my brother finally paid me back all the money he owed me. That was about.. 5+ years worth of debt to me haha. Was a very nice feeling for both of us to finally settle that.

I suppose this would be the time to wrap this up before I continue to ramble and ramble and ramble.

My alarm kept going off this morning and when the last one went off, that's when the rain started and I went riiiiiiiiiiiiight back to sleep. ^_^


Anyway... Let's see.... Update from the last blog/journal thing


New job! Again. And no, I was there longer then 2 months. I had the BBQ place job since October so.... 6months? (October to April...)

Anyway.

I now work at a place called Spoon. It's a gelato shop and it is soooooooooooooooooo good! I love this job. So tired right now though. Had to close the shop up last night, heh. Oh well. Then.. she had me scheduled to do that ALL WEEKEND (through monday.. so.. saturday-monday)... Hell no. I'm not even 18 yet. lol. Legally I can't really do that, but last night it was a favor for her. Had to train the 18 yr old there how to close, heh. I'm still waiting for her to call me to tell me when I work next. Blah.


Anyway. Awesome new job...

Hmm...

Got the camera. Grandpa had gotten himself one awhile back... Never uses it... And so he gave it to me for my birthday ^_^

Oh! I got my learner's permit ON my birthday. I'm proud of myself. Haha. So in October I can get my license!!!


Speaking of my grandpa, I just found out the other day he offered to pay for all the medical expenses for my tooth implant. ^_^

Wanna know what's great about him? He's not -really- related to us in anyway. Not by blood or marriage, heh.

My grandma used to date him way back when. Then started working for him as well. They act just like a married couple. But yea. So he's technically a friend of the family... but acts like our grandpa. And we all introduce him as our grandfather to anyone.

Anyway... Job, camera, permit, implant....

Siss is moving here in June! -ish happy-

Oh and last thing....

I'm taking a break from hula.... With my new job and it's ever changing schedule I needed it. And plus... hula's schedule was about to become ever changing as well soooo I got out -just- in time. Then in the Fall i'll be going as a full time student at SBCC. My first semester as a full time student! Oh geez. I've been there 5 semesters and never had to pay tuition! haha

I think that's it... =X

Updates:

New job. Now a waitress at a bbq joint.

Saving up money to buy a new camera and a car.
Got the money for the camera, really, just need to.. find one. lol.

Attempting to get my learner's permit... hopefully my license this year.

And... I'm sitll at SBCC working towards my AA in Graphics Design. Hopefully going to move on to a design school after that to get my BA in Visual Comm.

What else... Can't think of much.. heh. Just figured I'd post an update. =x

I am now going to focus on getting my AA in Graphics Design at Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) and sometime in this coming summer, I hope to get a job.

Just thought I'd give ya'll a little update even though there's like no one who really care.

I do have a few drawings I would *love* to put up on here. But, I need to go visit my grandparents to use their scanner, hehe. *sigh* That's what I should ask for Xmas. A scanner. Or maybe I can bug my brother enough that he'll install his finally and then I could use it, hehe.

So yeah. No new photographs. I need to charge my camera up, but I'm too lazy to find the charger and plug it in and all that jazz.

I have bene busy making MySpace layouts. I'd put them up, but they contain personal info, so yeah.

I have a website: [link] (yes I know it's tripod, but it's free so nah! lol) and for the most part, it's been built around the writings of others. Meaning, I have only had other people's stories,poems, songs, things of that sort, posted on there. I have a couple banners on there from friends that went along with stories that had been there.
