Hopefully with what i am working with right now, i can bump up my *viewings* and hopefully get a few people who would be willing to pay me for my art work. Main thing i am doing right now is working on my tattoo portfolio and my PS skills. Hopefully some kind soul will recognize my ability and take this wretched being on as an apprentice *crosses fingers*

CONTEST!!!

(I'll return to my normal journal layout shortly, I just didn't want to clutter up the details of the contest!)

Okay, I know this is kind of lengthy, but bear with me here to get all of the details! The rules are important - because no matter how nice the image is that you make for the contest, if you didn't follow the rules than it isn't going to qualify and I don't want to see that happen! Also, any contest pimping is always appreciated, to help spread the word!

The purpose: The goal of this contest is to draw my character Kitty and my friend Renee's character Marcus together. You can show them being sweet together, just hanging out together, getting frisky, arguing, drinking, etc. It's up to you how you picture the two!

The deadline: This has a nice long deadline, the pictures aren't dueuntil December 15th - that's approx. 2 and a half months!

The rules: Please pay attention to the rules carefully!
1. The only acceptable entries are entries that feature BOTH Kitty AND Marcus. No pictures featuring just ONE of the characters will be accepted. The point is to show them together in some manner.

2. Nudity and sex are perfectly welcome - it can be as innocent as casual nudity or as steamy as a full on sex scene! Of course, that is up to you - you don't need to show nudity or sex at all - it's just welcome if you want to (trust us, we don't mind )

3. The deadline is Dec. 15th and it is not changing. I will not be giving people an extra week or something - on Dec. 15th, entries will be due and that will be the end of the contest (except for the voting).

4. Whether you put the picture you do for this contest up here at DA or at your website, etc you MUST mention that the characters belong to me and Renee. If you would like to credit us by name - Kitty belongs to me (Brianne Dahlin or Brianne Goetz in just a few weeks) and Marcus belongs to Renee Atkinson. If you wish to credit us by DA username it is brianne333 (obviously) and ren52

5. If you have a question, please just contact me! I don't mind answering questions about the characters or the rules etc.

6. READ THE DESCRIPTIONS PLEASE! I do hate to emphasis something that should be common sense, but just to make sure - of course, Renee and I both want to see our characters being themselves and not being pictured in a manner that is completely wrong for them

7. Anyone may submit up to two entries. One entry is fine, you don't need to do two, but if you WANT the extra chance, you can do two pictures. They must be SEPERATE pictures however (the inked version and colored version of one picture does not count as two different pictures, it counts as one). Each picture has a chance to win a prize - which means that if you enter two pictures, you have the potential of winning two places!

8. Not everyone will win. This is common sense of course, but it really sucks the fun out of it when someone complains that they did not win. Yes, it can be disappointing, and I truly wish that everyone COULD win, but I am not independently wealthy so it isn't possible unfortunately. Entering a contest is a gamble. You put your effort and your thought into something and you take the chance. Regardless of who wins though, every piece I ever get from a contest is treasured and appreciated.

Judging and prizes: Judging will be private on this one, because I'm holding this contest partially as a Christmas gift to my friend Renee. I think it's fair that she be a main part of the judging for this. The judging will be done by me and her and every picture will be judged on three different things: creativity, artistic, and effort.

So maybe you aren't able to get the best artistic entry in - well that doesn't mean that you can't do the most CREATIVE picture. A picture can win for any of those reasons, and entries will not be judged based on artistic merit alone.

The Prizes will be cash - which will be made via Paypal, or a personal check if you do not have Paypal. If you would rather not have either one, I can make a custom purchase for you from some place online (such as amazon.com). The places will be as follows:

1st place - $100
2nd place - There will only be a second place if there are at least 10 entries! $50
3rd place - There will only be a third place if there are least 15 entries $25

Extra places - if there are at least 25 entries on this contest, I will start adding prizes to be awarded for different things (and continue to add prizes as the number goes up), and the prizes will be determined at the time, they could be cash, could be movies or books, or art, etc...

i hate feeling like this.. feeiling.. so... angry.. when i close my eyes all i see is images of smashing things takinga baseball bat to a car of hitting someone of just causing damage.. so much damage.. so much hurt

so much going on... and today was just the coup de grac... this mornig an old drunk woman dressed in her sunday best smashged through someones fence into there car spinning it sideways and back out the other side of their fence.. woke me before i looked out my window i just prayed it wasnt my jeep.. it wasnt.. but then later today a kid was jaywalking/biking a woman smashed into him the kid flew up into her window causeing a chain reaction of everyone braking and i slammed intot he back of this truck that just happened to have nice big sturdy lift gate on the back.. so my radiator gets smashed intot he fan and the fan is now touching the engine... but the windshield didnt break... now im stranded at a family memebers house {there not home ther car is broken down too} and my best friend is having a birthday party ight now, but his gf hates me so im not allowed to even see him...yet everysingle one of our mutual friends is over at his house.. and they all lied to me about there being a party for him till one of them slipped and asked if i was going to be there today... i called him to tell him happy birthday asked him who all was there.. he said everyone.. i felt like yelling at him no! not everyone is there.. its just so frustrating...

just lucky to have chrstine.. moved in with her.. shes sucha doll shes stranded here with me shes such a sweety!

well i guess its time to do a new one of these. its after halloween, its teh day everyone is to go out and vote, which i already did, and im not sure if i voted for who should be in office.

besides that, how do you deal with friends who are stressing over problems that arent their own? They take parts of other peoples lives and reflect it on themselves thinking its their problem, that they need to stress over the outcome and the path thats taken to finish the problem. You cant tell the person that their freaking out over nothing, that it doesnt concern them, becasue they belive it truely is their life. cant exactrly have them hospitalized either.. *sigh*

then theres the death of a grandmother. i thought i had cried my self out the night of the eclipse and the day after, but when my bf asked me how i was dealing with it i broke down alll over again. and now a friend is going through the same ordeal of worrying that her grandmother is going to die soon also.

halloween was a life saver. dressing up like someone else, forget that life has worries and problems and just acting like a hoyden. A great stress reliver. and no sorry i dont have pictures of my costume though i wish i did, so many people told me how great i looked. any how i hope you all had a great night as well...

How stupid can one be to spend all day at the fair from 10 am to 9 pm and not think of sunblock...and wear all black all day? Just ask me...but i wont be able to give you an answer....

i have one of the worst sunburns of my life..its unbelievable...one arm is nearly purple in color..and my face ... oh god i look like a rodeo clown as my sister so kindly pointed out...

but..its alright i had an awesome time at the fair... and spent time with a friend i hadnt seen in awhile.. spent more money theni should have..esp when i got him to peirce his ear..that was funny..but he looks so cute with it..a nice cartledge one.. any how..

i didnt have anything else to write about and needed a new journal.. my art is really not going anywhere at all... not that it ever was really..but at least i was drawing.. now..not much.. any how read my disclaimer at the bottom..itll always be there..

Unfortuantly Mamma Kitty died in the middle of my floor last night.. planning on making a wood box and burrying her, serivices will be held at sunset, many will remember her legacy different but i will always remember her as the only one who was brave enough to stand up and piss on my step mothers head..may you rest in peace Mamma Kitty

Mood: Morbidyet oddly numb

OK... so my cat who it seems has always been there is dying..shell be gone by morning...shes old, 13, 14 or so...shes had a full life..a crazy life...id hope a good life.
I think our favorite meory of her is when she was on teh roof and pissed on my mothers head...she had it coming.,.my mother i mean...well im sure Mama Kitty thinks she did..thats our cats name, Mama Kitty... but any how, she pissed on her head becasue she had been under the hood of the car, mom tried to start it...her tail went one way, the cat ran the other..couldnt find her for 3 days...ends up she was hiding under the eaves on the roof..about a month later after she had recoupriated..mom was walking towards the door..cat hung her butt off the roof and pissed right on moms head....So she is a tailess cat..or has a tiny little stump of a tail...i wasnt crying before..but sitting here and writting this..thinking about all my memories of her..i think im gona cry..so im going to end this now...

ok i can now add something new so fucked up i never thought i could actaully even harbor the thought of hating someone..but after last ngiht i truly belive i might hate someone. anyhow..i got a flat..stupid me forgot i had a spare, any how called my step mother..i knew she would be in bed at midnight but silly me figured..hey she might at least come and give me a lift home right? hell no, my sister tried to wake her up and she screamed at her that she was asleep {its her day off the next day so its not like seh has to work the next day} and that i should call my dad, well now, that in its self is fucked up, but the fact that my dad lives all the fuck way out in lookis, nearly auburn and im in south sac, a good 30-40 min drive away. Well i tried to make it home, STUPID idea..chewed throught he crappy tire that was ont ehre, went tot he rim, i parked on the side of the road,{btw still hadnt called anyone else yet} finnallyremembered the spare..but lucky me the last time that tire had been put on it was a newbie at this tire shop withte air gun thingy..and he put them on so fucking tight. THats when i called my dad because i didnt have a star, just the crow bar looking thing which doubles as the handle to the jack which was missing a wheel, Any how he came out, int he mean time 6 tow trucks had driven by, 2 of which had stoped at hte red light right there so i know they saw me..ugh.. people are truly ignorant and heartless. then the spare dosnt fit the front, so we had to put the bad tire on again, take of fhte back one, put hte spare onteh back and the back tire on the front. then he followed me home, my sister was still up so he stayed for a few minutes saying hi and visiting with his daughter right? well my step mom being the flaming bitcht hat she is screamed from her room for him to leave and everyone to shut up, and at eht ime we had just been standing there not even saying anything..she truly is...psycho..and those of you who know her...im sure your just shaking your head saying" dosnt surprise me at all" so those who even bother to read this whiney entry and thing im just blowing hot air out my ass..go ahead and think that, but seh really is a bitch and it wasnt just this that made me hate her..but this was just the straw that broke the camels back ya know? every thing else shes done...quick example her daughters call me mom... use your imagination and think about why they would do that..one is almost 14, my sister calls me mom..thats just one example, if i were to sit here and think of things she had done int he past year you would be sitting here reading this forever

everyone must do what they wish or else there would be no such thing as free will yet we cant always do what we want because it would go against propriety, we would have no disciplin or values and as such we are turned into mindless sheep who follow everyones elses rules but hey say they arent their rules but some obscure head person who makes these up willy nilly and we are simply subject to htem and if we wish to change them we must go through a huge ordeal that nearly noone wants to go through andthose who do only about half of them dont give up then half of those who dont give up fail or are simply stepped on and those who do not fail at all or dodge the big foot are never heard of again

alright..so....im in california..my bf is in washington..and im working..sorta my job sucks ass..he works..his job is like mine but dosnt suck as much and hes training up.

Everything having to do with my jeep dosnt want to work out right AND i just discovered the tumblers in my ignition are stuck so i dont need a damnt hing to start up my jeep..*rolls her eyes*

then my bank..ok i got pain ont hurday, deposited iton thursday the 20th...but it dosnt count as thursday but friday since it was past 3pm and i cant touch any of my money till the 26th so im changing banks soon as possible....

i live with my stepmother as of now moving out in a few months thank god..and i swear her insanity has gone to a new level her exact words were "you are treated like a child and an idiot because you forgot to wipe down that counter next to the sink when you did the dishes and you didnt call the instant you got off work to let me know you werent coming home" when the kitchen is nothing but counters and its one little counter about 1'x2'..and i called her at the time i normaly would have gotten home..shes insane...and thinks i have no discipline values or morals....which for a few of you...you must be laughing your asses off becasue you know me and know thats not true..as for you who dont know me...um..well bel.ive what you wil

::sighs:: valentines shuld get a rehaul...i hate where valentines has been taken....no romance...no sweetness...its all corporate crap...its fake... why would anyone want a card htat a million other girls/guys are going to get? or a box of chocolates that everyone else is getting..why cant guys/girls do something original... something from their hearts....

we should switch it... valentines should be something that comes from the heart..something a guy/girl comes up with themselves..cause anyone could pick a card at random... imagine how it would be if there were no greeting cards for htis holiday...no fabricated gifts....

it should be like an aniversary...well..not a good comparison...they have cards too..but its not as big of a market..its the least marketed event i think...its more from the heart..its more wherte you actually have to think of something that expresses your love

and it dosnt have to be something huge..i mean..how sweet is it for your guy to just give you a flower for no reason..and im not talking about valentines anymore...just any day..even if its just a single litlte wildflower he picked fromt eh neighbors yard..its the sentiment..the expression of love...its..one of those..words cant descibe it..so you cant say anything ..just sigh or make one of those noises guys alwasy cring at becasue they know tears are coming....

If you ever come across an enormous dog wolf like creatures that somewhat resemble the creatures from scooby doo..or better yet a pack of them and there on disply in a cage...dont tease them with food..feed trhem and be kind to them...cause you never know when they might break out, and turn on everyone...but if your nice to them..they will remember and they wont eat you..just your family..and everyone else around..but if your nice to even one of them..it will be kind to you and will not eat you..or let any of the other opnes from teh pack eat you

well saturday was my birthday..oh man for those who were there..the end..yeah...not exactly waht i expected for that night..but hey..it was .......fun? till it was so rudely interupted wouldnt you say?
anyhow...yeah thought it was about time i write something...get words outta my head....its starting to get crowded up there esp. with all those damn pictures i dont have anytime to draw....well maybe ill get sometime and maybe even some inclination to draw them now that things are settling down..maybe even try to break my camera out again? who knows..it could happen i mean i dropped off 3 rolls today..no dark room to do it myself...somthing might come out i like.....might even post somestuff i dont like just to add something to my stagnant gallery...its so small compared to everyone elses.....
hmmm...thoughts ideas..there are so many..and then there area bout 10X as many that i just cant put down here....like..about people..there good ideas..just not ideas i want them to know about you know? girl crap..i do have it ocasionaly..im not all tomboyish..i do have my girly side.....i mean if the nearly waist length hair, mascara and fairy hanging from my rear view mirror dosnt scream girly i dont know what does. lol

Well i just got home from getting my eyebrow pierced...i love it...
It didnt hurt as much as i thought it would..i can already wiggle it up and down and move it ..its swollenbut not as much as the guy told me it would be...so i am very happy right now despite the groans everyone is going to give me...
And i could have walked out of their with the peircing for free..I was already in my car and had it running before i remembered i hadnt paid...now what would you have done? Just left? Or gone back in?
Me? I went back in and got told how nice and honest i was..yeah..am i dweeb? ::shrugs:: It was 40$
Oh oh oh and saturday..saturday is the day im turning 20..whoohoo..thats sarcasm if you didnt notice..yeah..
