It's been a while. I've been mildly stressed out about my trip to Italy this summer. It's been a lot of paperwork and emails and trying to get stuff done beforehand, but things are starting to get a bit easier and things are coming through.

It's gonna be good-- I'll be studying drawing and printmaking, and might be up to 23 hours/week in the studios, but at the same time, I'll be in FLORENCE ITALY, people! I can say it's gonna be fun, regardless of the huge, huge bill. I leave near the end of June and will be gone for a month, but still I'll try to be internet-active, even if I don't bring along my laptop!

I know I've not been very active on DA these past few months, but I promise I actually just check what's going on one a day or so, but in terms of art, I have been very very very busy.

Classes go decently- I really stick to a sleep schedule, so I don't tire myself out completely. I've done pretty good on quite a few projects (the surprise was a very very awesome score in wood sculpture!) and it seems I do well in all my classes- A's and B's are fine with me!

Sometimes my time management works, other times it doesn't so well, but I've managed to turn in everything that wasn't optional!

Stuff is getting done, slowly but surely. I am starting Spring Break, and while I will be working on my entry for Burning Avalon all this week, I will also early this week be going in for some decently extensive dental work (all four wisdom teeth need to be extracted) and so I'm not quite sure for how long I'll be out of it.

But page 7 pencils are in the works. page 1 and 2 are done, 3,4,6 pencils are done, 5 needs a bit of work, and I still have probably another 7 pages at least to finish up. I managed to squeeze it down from my overestimate of 18 (it seems), but it shall be more than my underestimate of 10. Well, it's the beginning of a new decade. It's pretty remarkable.

It's been interesting, this past week- I found out that 2 of my cousins are Agnostic and one is a Buddhist (quite a full out Buddhist, too. Has been since his Christian Confirmation, which is sorta funny).

Obviously, I've been already getting to churning out some art and illustrations and concepts, and this year, I'm hoping to try and get out a lot more art, try some new things, work on backgrounds and compositions, and MAYBE, just maybe, write up a short story and actually finish it.

Main male lead is sort of a fun place to be, I got a wig and we're gonna have to make it work... it looks weird right now (might help if we darken my eyebrows and add some side-burn action). I'll look a bit goofy and small in full costume, I bet, because I'm skinny and lack shoulders... and thicker arms... and larger hands and feet... you get the idea.
