Yes its pretty and christmas-y but its also cold and slippery and makes for treacherous driving. I don't like it.
My baby is fascinated with it though, and Haley of course is THRILLED that there is finally snow for her to play in.
In other news, see all the cool new stuff I uploaded? Aren't you proud? I've totally mastered photoshopping with Connor on my lap. Although he interferes by attempting to type and steal the mouse, I think he wants to eat it. As that is what he wants to do with everything right now. LoL
I'm sooo almost done my christmas shopping, I should be absolutly done by now seeing as how I started in November!! But alas no, I'm still not, but there is a pretty impressive pile under my tree.

I think thats all that is going on, 14 days till christmas eve! So heres wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy happy new year. And, DRIVE SAFE!

I am soo excited.
I love christmas, I've gotten so much shopping done already, be proud. I usually leave it till the last minute. LoL
I'm incredibly busy this month and well into December, partly cuz my BIRTHDAY is on Thursday, heehehe just thought I'd throw that out there. Also the madness of the holiday season has begun.
=xaphanea is hosting another photo shoot (did you see my awesome pictures? pictures of me, not by me) on Sunday, which I will be attending, with my own camera, yay!! Might actually get some good photos to upload. Be forewarned tho, I am busy like you wouldn't believe, so time for recreational things like photoediting, is very scarce. Anyways, thats all that new in my life, Haley is great and thriving at school in grade 2 and Connor will be 5! months on Sunday, ahhhh! Where does the time go? But hes doing very well and growing much to fast, LoL. Wishing everying a fantastic holiday season.

Oh and Haley is lovin' grade 2 even though she's at a new school again this year, she's already made friends and its only the 6th day!

Then when you submit, you're told that its only for subscribers. AAHhh not nice.

Also 5 days left to my due date, but I have a feeling I'll be going in before then.

Holy crap! I can't believe my last journal entry was on Oct 20 2008. where the hell have I been? LoL
Anyhoo, I figured that I've held out long enough and now I should get to tell everyone that I'm having another baby!!

Of course, some people already know this and therefore it isn't news, but humour me ok? LoL
The new baby is due at the end of June, right smack on top of Haley's birthday (which is July 4th) so we'll see how that works out :S
Anyways, once the baby comes I'll have a brand new model to take tons of pictures of, and one that can't run away (like Haley does now, she used to love getting her pic taken, now I'm lucky to get her still for 30 seconds) hehehe. Anywaus, thats about all my news, I'm going on mat leave soon, at the end of February, so hopefully I'll have some time to deviate and create and such. I was just saying how much I miss photoshopping, I just don't have the time right now.

Ok, I kno I'm being a whiner here, and that lots of other people in the world suffer with dial-up everyday but my god! Its sooooooo slow! I can't stand it! Ugh
Truth be told, I've been a bit of a canky bitch since we moved here. Its just not what I wanted it to be, the apartment is great, and I have two days off so maybe I'll get some pics taken since I just unpacked my camera. But its a pain in the ass living underneath another persons house, its like we moved in with them! I feel like I've taken a step backwards as far as living conditions. I spent so long working to move out on my own and now its like I've undone all that hard work. And its making me into a huge bitch. Also, my kitchen doesn't function, theres no fridge or oven. Just a mini fridge (which my mom brought me) and a stove top. Which makes its even more like we moved in with other people as we have to share the fridge till we get our own. argh.
Other than that, I'm back online now. (with stupid dial up) And I'm calling Bell tomorrow to see what they have for wifi out here. I have a boatload of unpacking still to do, but I'm planning to do a lot tomorrow as I have the house all to myself!! Yay! Haley is in grade 1 now, which means she's in school all day, the bus gets her at 8:20 and drops her off at 4:05 and Kyle is working 9-5. Oooooh sweet quiet.. I'm so excited LoL

Phew... I just spent the last two hours mad packing like a maniac. I hate moving. Currently I'm living amidst a sea of boxes, I'd take a picture, but my camera is packed LoL. I'll be sure and unpack it first thing tho, so I can upload pics of our new apartment.. which is sooooo much nicer than this one

. Actually, one of the few things not packed is the computer, which will be going in a box soon. Official Moving Day is this Saturday, but we're moving a pile of stuff out there this week, so I'll be offline for an indefinite amount of time. I have yet to get the internet hooked up out there, actually I should call Bell this week and do that.

Hopefully, if Bell doesn't eff it up, I should be back online by next week. Then I have to unpack, oh joy .
Aside from moving, I also have a mid term to write next week for Cultural Anthro. which I'm actually looking forward to, how bizarre am I? LoL
Work is going fantastically! I'm really liking this supervisor gig.. its fun, and crazy, but I like to be busy.
I think I might go look at wedding dresses soon too, maybe when *xaphanea gets back, since she's my maid of honor and all.

So apparently I'm the worlds biggest bitch, as told to me by people I thought were my best friends, people I've been incredibly close to, some of them I've known for 18 years. But all of that means nothing when it comes down to it, and I've had 4 of my closest friends totally turn on me (all within the past 2 months) and send me nasty fucking emails (or, even better than that facebook messages) cuz they're to chicken shit to say these things to my face. Needless to say Larry and Danielle won't be in my wedding party, and apparently assuming that my best friends would be there was a bad thing, and was included in the list of terrible things I've done, when I got home from work today and checked my email.

What I want to know is, What god did I piss off? What the hell did I do to deserve this?

Oh and by the way, if you are one of the people mentioned here, and are thinking of replying to this journal with more nasty messages, don't bother. And please don't make me block you, what are we in highschool?

In other (and happier) news, I got to see the awesome-est rock tribute bands ever last night, with the only people who don't think I'm a complete douche, *xaphanea and her beau. It rocked. And I just wanna say thank you guys for being there, especially Cait (whom I called in tears today after reading the latest nasty email) you guys rock my socks!

I don't kno if I ever mentioned the fact that we decided not to get married this year, but for anyone who is wondering we did decide to put it off till we could save up some money and stuff.
Anyways, we've settled on a date, venue and guest list now.
June 19, 2009. We're only inviting like 20 people plus nine in the wedding party, the lovely and talented *xaphanea has agreed to be my maid of honor And Kyle's best friend is going to be best man. Both of our brothers will be in the ceremony as well as my close friends, Larry (who I'm sure you've all seen pics of all over mine and xaph's pages) and his g/f Danielle. We're having it at the Rockwood conservation area, in the mill.

Afterwards we will be camping!! LoL, only for the weekend. We're going on our honeymoon the last week of August.
Anyways, thats all the details for anyone interested, I'm super excited!!! eiiieeeeie!

My Journal sucks now! LoL I haven't gotten around to renewing my sub yet, soon tho.
How's about this v.6 eh?? I personally think its effing killer, BUT I've noticed as a non-subscriber that all the features I loved about having a sub (the ability to read your messages in the message center and deviation thumbnails) appear to be available to me. So to all my subscriber friends out there, whats different about v.6 for you guys?
Thats about it for now, stay tuned for pics from our camping trip. I got some great shots of the river and cliffs in Rockwood when we went hiking, and some awesome ones of my kid climbing around the mill ruins. We have got the most killer weekend planned, I'm so excited. Also I'm in a great fucking mood today w00t!
First *thirtysixdegrees is coming over tonight for board game fun, then we're going out to the bar tommorrow afternoon for a girls date on the patio! (if its not raining, in which case we'll just sit in the bar LoL) and then.... (drumroll please....) Canada's Wonderland with Larry and Danielle on Sunday, and theres a big honkin' fireworks show for Victoria Day! Aaaaand, its a long weekend, so I get sleep it all off on Monday LoL.

I totally got a Nintendo Wii today finally... ahh. We've been trying to get one since before xmas. Its the coolest thing on the planet.
I just had to share that with everyone. In other news, I'm sure everyone has noticed that I got fish! 8 tropical fresh water fish to be exact. My friend Larry (~inivisible45) gave them to me. Aren't they awesome. I've had a fantastic couple of weeks here,its been great.

Its official. I'm a student at Athabasca University. Canadas largest distance education university. Built for people (like me) who have to work full time while getting their degree. I can submit all my work online,and then book my exams at my convienence and take them at the nearest post secondary institution, which is only 20 mins away. I'm doing my entire bachelors degree online
Isn't that the sweetest thing ever? I'm so excited. I'm majoring in Anthropology, (Bachelor of Arts). I can't wait to get my first text books.

I can't believe I forgot to put this in here but in all the chaos its understandable. April 1st was mine and Kyle's 2 year anniversary and April fools day. Who wants to know what happened? Our freaking apartment flooded thats what happened. At 7:30 in the morning I woke up to Haley splashing into my room to tell me that there was water all over the floor. Where did the water come from you ask, outside! It leaked in through the wall of the laundry room under the stairs and into our apartment. It sucked, but the wonderful *xaphanea rescued us and we got to spend the entire day together (and got new shoes). So all in all an anniversary we'll never forget!

Merry Christmas everybody!!

I got some fantastic presents this year including, a tripod for my new cam, a new purse, shoes, a watch, picture frames, and one of those photo keychain things and more that I can't remember. I also took loads of pics so I'll be going through them all and uploading the best when I get home.
Haley got spoiled rotten by santa this year.. my house is going to be packed to the cieling with new toys once we get it all home. Madness!!

Oooh I also got SPIDERMAN monolpoly!!! Which is exciting if your me cuz I collect monopolies and I love spiderman
All in all an awesome christmas which is good cuz last christmas was a bit on the stingy side since we had just moved and such. Anyways, I hope everyone else had a great christmas too!

It's actually not, my birthday was a few days ago, but I didnt get around to updating till now, been busy. Christmas is coming, I'm so excited 23 days.. or something to that effect.

Oooh, I'm getting a new camera tommorrow! Mom got me a Fujifilm Finepix for my b-day! So expect lots of pictures, also I have some new stock I'm itching to try out, but no models to go with it, till I take some pictures. eeee, I'm so excited.

Hey.. long time no talk. Personally my life is just not exciting enough to warrant a daily update.
I have lost even more faith in the human race this weekend. LoL, if that was possible. One of my friends at work got his car egged in Friday and I'm left wondering who the hell does that?! Like seriously people, wtf? I personally can't wait to see the security tape when whoever did this gets busted and I hope they get their ass fired. I can't freaking believe it.

In other non-keyboard related news, we're house hunting again, hopefully this time for an actual house, not apartment. Aaaaand, Haley got a surprise today, her very own pet. When I figure out how to get pictures off of my phone, I'll upload some (I also have first day of school pictures, and yes I have a camera phone, shoot me now. Kyle wanted it.) He's name is Flynn and he's a little baby black HAMSTER! He's so cute. I've been thinking about getting her her own pet for awhile and now that she's school I thought it was time to teach her some responsibility. She loves him. And he peed on me, twice! That is all. Life is good, or would be, if people didn't suck, but thats a whole other story for another day, and not one I feel like publishing on the internet. Lets just say that some freaking respect for other peoples feelings would be fantastic, but hey miracles happen right? .... right? LoL I'm a li'l bitter, can you tell?

omg I think I might die...
yesterday it was 47 degrees celcius with the humidex factored in!!
it broke some records apparently.

Aaaaanyways...
I may, (most likely) be absent for a few days.. we're doing "5 days of Birthday Fun!" for Haleys 5th birthday (July 4th) starting with Wonderland on Wednesday (the 4th), the Zoo (metro Toronto on the 5th) and then 3 days at the beach (6th, 7th and 8th).
But I plan to take many-a-photo and will definitly being doing some funky stuff with them when they are all developed and whatnot, maaaaybe I'll borrow someones really good digital for it... that'd be great.. I just thought of that. anyhoo, thats all there is really.. just wanted to complain about the weather and update about my absence.

I'm also at a very happy stage in life here, and its bringing out the girl in me. I actually wanted to go shopping for shoes the other day (I own 1 pair of shoes and have never been "shoe shopping" gag) I think I might be *gasp* turning into like some sort of grown up girl person. LoL . Anyway, ennjoy all the pretty new decorations.

OMG OMG OMG!!! I'm so amazing thrilled! I have been gone too long, how come no one told me that everyone gets a basic prints account now?? I've been waiting forever to get my paypal set up so I could buy one and now I don't have to!!!! yay!

I'm Baaaaaaaaack!!

Flipping Finally! Between car accidents, moving, school registration, the mail lost our new modem TWICE but I finally got back online.

Gawddd. lifes been crazy *see above* but everything seems to be *finally* falling into place now. We flipped our car, and kyle lost his job (seeing as he needed the car, for his job). Christams was insane, trying to squeeze in time for both our families, and ourselves and work (I worked on christmas morning) We just got our tree taken down and the last of the gifts received and given out last weekend.
We ordered our new modem from Bell last monday, it was supposed to be here Friday, but they lost it. Then it was supposed to be here yesterday but Canada Post ... lost it. Then we finally caught the mail lady in our building trying to say that we hadn't answered our door when she hadn't even knocked on it! They finally delivered it today, then Kyle had to spend half an hour on the phone with bell trying to get our connection sorted out. And now, finally we're online again.

Other than all that crap. We're all settled in our new apartment, Haley is started school next week and everything else is finally being sorted out. Phew. I'll update more later. Just wanted to let everyone kno that I'm back ... ciao

Gah!! Real life is hard. LoL but so much fun!!! So this I think will be my last entry for a while (speaking of, thanks so everyone I just noticed I've got over two thousand page views!

I promise some new stuff soon.) Since we're moving in five days. I don't have our weekly schedule worked out just yet cuz I don't kno what hours Kyle is going to be working, but it goes something like this..
Monday - 7:30am - I leave for work
- Kyle stays home and packs up more of the basement
- 4:30pm - I get home from work and Dad leaves
- More packing, make dinner, bathe and put Haley to bed. Sleeeep
Tuesday - 4:30am - I leave for work
- Sometime, either before or after I get home, Kyle finishes packing his room in Fergus
- 4:30pm - I get home. Pack some more, make dinner, bathe and put Haley to bed.. sleeeep.
Wednesday - 7:30 - I leave for work (maybe earlier if I hafta descale)
- 4:30 - I get home, pack even more..(theres lots of basement packing to do) make dinner, bathe and put haley to bed.
- 8:00pm - Last Wednesday in Basement *sob*... sleeep
Thursday - 7:30 Leave for work
- Kyle finishes up any last minute packing
- 4:30 get keys for apartment from landlord
- come home, do home stuff, sleep
Friday - 4:30am- I leave for work
-Kyle moves all his stuff from Fergus into aparment
- 12:00 - I get off work, go back to Arthur, start moving all the stuff
- All afternoon- Move stuff and meeting up with families who are bringing stuff or lending their BIG trucks, friends who are helping ...
- nite sometime - Haley goes to moms for the weekend, LAST PARTY IN BASEMENT
Saturday - Painting, unpacking and our first nite in the new place.
PHEW! Keep in mind that Kyle will also hafta work some of those afternoons, so I'll come home and he'll leave like rite away. we'll just trade off the car. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. .. heheh Its gonna be great!!!

-is over!!! woohoo. Yup, we got an apartment, finally. So we officially get to move in 2 and a half weeks. Eeeep I'm so excited, like a child on Halloween (which I saw a lot of today). Haley was Cinderella. Thats about it I think not much else going on except for moving related stuff. Uh-Huuuuuuh! I got my G2 today! woot. That means (for all the non-Ontarians) that I can finally legally drive on my own whenever I want. I've been waiting for like almost 4 years to get this, and I was so nervous. It was awful. But I did it, yayayay!
In other news, the apartment hunt is still on, and moving is only 3 weeks (less actually) away. We started taking the basement down, *cries* it sucks, painting is going to be worse. Other than that, works great, Kyle's great, life is great, woohoo! Ciao, Uh-Huuh!

What the hell? I haven't been able to get on here for like two weeks. Has anyone else had this problem, or is it just my account. I'll figure it out. Aaaaanyway..
Well I guess a bunch has happened since my last entry since I see its dated the 8th of August. Work still sucks, but whatever. Moving soon!!! Score-eroni! We're going apartment hunting next week... yay! UH-huuuh!
Camping!!! We went to the bitchin-est campground ever on the weekend. It was so awesome, like a field of picnic tables and fire pits, no sites. It was great. We had the hugest campfire ever! In the rain! I can't stress how awesome it was. Rach's party also rocked. I went as my evil identical twin. LoL. The theme was "Something you wouldn't want to run into on a dark corner"
Pirates of Laser Quest!!! Rocked my socks. The last all nighter was themed Pirates of the Carribean 2. Our team kicked ass. My little brother pwned considering it was like his 2nd or third time and he scored in the top three a bunch of times. All in all life rocks. (except for work) Ciao Uh-Huuuuuuuh!!!

Work. That is the extent of my life, LoL. Kidding. I've actually been doing tons, none of which includes creating new deviations. Obviously. But I did get all my old pics back from Larry so maybe I'll get inspired. But I doubt it, theres been a lacking in that deparment lately. Other than that, I've been doing lots on the weekends, they mean so much more when you work full time I've discovered, so our schedules been packed full lately. Between trips to the beach (I think we've been 3, maybe 4 times this year now) Wonderland, concerts, parties... busy-ness thy name is Emerald. LoL. Although with moving day rapidly approaching, (which I discovered is the same freaking day as my commencement, crap oh well. what was that I said about busy-ness?) funds are going to be running incredibly low for the next couple months, so that may mean more time indoors and thus more time for DA. Yay! Oh but on the subject of my journal title. Does DAv5 rock or what?? I, personally am in love. Its awesome. I don't have my sub right now, but I'm sure it only gets better. Ahhh LIFE!!! Run! help! LoL. Been doin' lotsa real life stuff lately. Although, I did upload a new id, as promised, I made a new icon too. Kinda have a theme running there, LoL. When I get some more ideas and freaking time I'll make up some more stuff. Maybe, I'll actually get around to uploading the next part of "His Girls" Kyle's been on my ass to write more. UGh, so yeah I've been rather absent due to working full time and being so damned busy all the freaking time. I've discovered how great it is to spend your weekends actually doing shit after being at work everyday all week. For example, last week we went to the firworks and carnival in Mt. Forest. on Saturday, then we all (Myself, Kyle, my brother, Haley and my dad) went to the African Lion safari. For all you non-canadians, or ontarians I guess, its like a drive thru game reserve. You get to drive thru in your car, or a tour bus and see all the animals out running around, the monkeys like to climb on cars. Haley had a fit when two baboons sat on our rear view mirrors. It was great, theres also shows a boat and train tour a waterpark and a patio bar. Its an awesome place. THis weekend we're going shopping cuz we're MOVING!!!!!!!! (I'm a little excited) not till november actually, but gotta start getting stuff and all that, cuz between the two of us we have zip. Aside from like a bed and a couch so.. much shopping, plus its my first full pay cheque so I'm going to buy new clothes

And then we're going to the pirates two on Saturday nite. w00t. So thats all my news and life update-y stuff, ciao.

Mmm holidays are good. I'm thoroughly enjoying my extra days off. Worked out well actually considering I just started and then got two extra days off. I had the option for the whole week, but I got the job so I could make money and thus move out and such, so what would be the point in taking days off during my second week? Besides we'll just be cleaning and shit this week cuz of shut down so... Well thats enough about my boring work life, which I could talk about at great length for hours and hours, its ridiculous. The bash at Rach's went kinda kablooey (LoL) cuz I was wiped and shit like that. So Kyle and I spent the weekend alone essentially. Which was nice.

Haley's birthday is tommorrow (ahhh) I can't believe she's 4 already. Feels like yesterday and all that cliche'd rot. LoL It really does tho, doens't feel like its been 4 years since I was screaming my head off in the hospital room. LoL. But at the same time it does. Its wierd. O'course, I'm wierd, so that could be it LoL.
