On a mildly horrific note, I am now uploading my 2001 comic strip Mouffette Machine online. It was published in my university's newspaper, and I'm posting a page online each Monday and Thursday. Some of it's horrible, some of it I liked, though that could just be creator stuff working it's way into my brain. I'm planning to do up a few new pages to actually finish off the story, which is a good deal more violent/wierd then my other comics work. I had completed over 50 pages for the paper, so it should all be online within the next 5 months or so months.

I posted a part of it as a DA piece. I might do this once in awhile..... I'm guessing it's fine, as fellow GAM-comic Shrub Monkeys does this as well. This was a fun, wierd page to draw. Oddly, it takes a lot less time to draw these pages, maybe due to Pana and Dana's [the Pandas that are Hoshi's final showdown] simpler designs.

I'm a big fan of Scifi, fantasy, superhero comics and anime, so there's a broad range of materials you could request something from.

Prices are as follows-
Sketch- detailed pencil sketch,similar to those posted on my DA, 5 dollars. Max 3 characters for pencil. If you'd like I can also add colour highlights via coloured pencils, if it's one character.

I might add inked and colour artwork as well, depending on demand.

If you've heard rumours about Animaritime 2010 and 2011 and Animinitime, please read the above link. It has also been posted on LiveJournal Community, and other places. I'm quoting a bit below, but PLEASE read the link to read everything Lindsay has put out.

There's no substance to those rumours, and it's important that the truth get out, and that it be clarified.


"Hello everyone,

I am writing this post in response to a rumor that has recently reached my inbox. According to the rumor that seems to have been going around, the staff of Animaritime have decided to host a smaller convention in 2010 because we are all deciding to take a trip to Japan.

I'm not entirely sure where or how this idea came about, but I can guarantee that this is absolutely not true. The only place that I think this rumor may have come from is the fact that one of our staffers currently resides in Japan and was 'returning' to Japan after Animaritime was over. However, let me take this moment to assure you that the staff of Animaritime aren't running away, and to give you the reasons that were outlined during the closing ceremonies of Animaritime 2009 for the one-day event in 2010."

Our Convention Chair Lindsay explains it at our forums [link] and gives the reasons why we're having a 1 day event in 2010 and waiting till 2011 to have the full 3-day convention.

For those not in the know, next year's con will be a one-day event called Animinitime, and will have all the same stuff you'd expect at a Con, but in a day ^_^ Animaritime itself will be back as a 3-day Con in 2011. We're doing it this way so everyone can have a con, and staff can better prepare things for a big super giant awesome con, because Con-stuff is seriously hard, insane work 0_o

I've finished most of a new, short minicomic for the convention that I'll be selling at my Artist's Alley table. Much fun Which also introduces yet another new Aphra character [like Jeepers, I can't stop adding new characters]. Which means 3 new characters this convention. The minicomic won't be reprinted online, similar to the [I mostly put up the older minicomic since it'd been 3 years since I made it, and it's a good intro to the characters.
