Well, it's been a while since I've updated this, but I've had no subscription, unfortunately. And I really didn't want to lose the pretty CSS. But, that's all fixed. Speaking of which, *TABBED now has a subby. Woo! Someone should get her a CSS. Either way, go check her out - She's awesome.

So, for all who missed it, I turned 18 on October the 17^th! It's great. But what's even better is that I've got my driver's license and a car!
Seriously. I'm loving it.

Work lately has been kinda shit... I mean, it's still great cooking and cheffing and all that, but it's the lad I work with.
Mainly it's been him being a general cuntrag, being anal about everything and contradicting himself constantly. But lately we've added abusive language to the list. Well, actually that's quite common amongst us all, so maybe that's the wrong terminology. He got called into work last week, and pretty much as soon as he walked in the door he's all like, 'Fucking got called in from fucking Melbourne. Where's fucking so-and-so, why can't he fucking work?' My mate and I just looked at each other after he left the room. We're just like, man, grow up. I mean, fair enough he had to drive three and a half hours from Melbourne to work, but after all, he did say yes, he could work, yes he'd come in, when he could have said no, he can't work, no, he can't come in.
Am I wrong in being annoyed at this?

So yeah. Lots, and lots, of little bits of shit like that over the past few weeks. I'm starting to get really stressed out. Especially since I'm the apprentice, and I work most days a week, I'm normally there if something goes wrong, or something doesn't happen, so therefore I can get bitched at for it.

But wait, it gets even better.

On top of all this, my lungs are giving out again. It feels like the pneumothorax didn't heal, or it's returned. That, or my lungs are slowly being eaten away by copious amounts of harmful chemicals from the workplace.
The phrase, 'Lucky dip, bitch', jumps to mind.

<sub>Howdy doody, as they say in the movies.
Too bad this ain't the movies, son.
I went to Melbourne last thursday the 21^st for the Taste of Melbourne Food Festival, which took place on saturday night.
Boy, was it fucking epic. And I mean epic.
There was about twenty of Melbourne's finest restaurants, each bringing three of their own signature dishes. There was some absolutely amazing food. I'm not going to harp on about it, because quite honestly, I can go for ages about that one topic. So! Let's glaze over the rest of the festival. There was chocolate tasting, olive oil tasting - Yes, olive oil. It's fucking rad! There was like, orange flavoured oil, lemon, sweet, sour, loads of flavours and types. Then there was the salt that went with the oils... Lemon, rosemary, charcoal... Etc.
In summary, the night was unforgettable.
The next day, (Sunday, for those who need help) I hung out with Keith for the day, doing touristy type stuff around the botanic gardens. Beautiful place. Oh, and I went to Mount Macedon that weekend, too. Snow, ftw! As you'll be able to see in the photos, anyhow.

Also! I do apologise for the fucking piece of shit camera that I own, because it will insist on date stamping every photo. It is quite honestly, giving me the shits.

So much for the 23rd. But oh well, this journal's late, so I'm still really happy. My three week holiday now starts this monday the 11th. I'm fucking excited, seeings as I'm set to go to The Taste of Melbourne food festival on the 22nd.

But, it gets better.

Last friday, Keith ( *pyronixcore, for those who don't know ), and his girlfriend came to visit. It was great. So great, that I am going to document everything we did.

It started when I got them off of the train at 5.00 pm, before I had to start work. That was fine, all normal like. 5.30 comes around, when I was supposed to start. Oh, we'll come with you, they said. We'll sit in the bar until you finish. I didn't really believe them, but sure enough, four hours later, they're still there drinking in the bar. Legend. So we went home, and had a nice quiet night in - which entailed getting Keith drunk. Nicole literally pushed a bottle of Absolut on him, forcing him to drink. Poor bugger was maggot. I made a mudcake that night, and apparently it was nice, so I'm happy. But Keith is the funniest kid when he's drunk.

Next morning, Nicole and I wake up at 9.00 am. What the fuck is that. I think we went to bed at about 4.00 am the night before. Anyway. We had bacon and egg rolls for lunch before embarking on the first adventure for the weekend. I took Keith and Nicole on a stroll around Bairnsdale, to show them the various wonders of our quaint rural suburbia, before Keith decided he wanted to go the ' Port ' of Bairnsdale. So, off we went. Then we found the lovely little walk that follows the Mitchell River. And we walked. And walked. And walked. We found a little jetty on the other side which had a lovely little collection of large rocks. And well, being the children that we are, Keith and I felt the urge to throw a good deal of them in. Some took both of us to lift, but it didn't stop us. Those fuckers were going in. Then I threw one in and wound up giving Nicole a large shower at the same time. So, four hours later, a large ( And I mean large ) pet rock, an exploded soda bottle, and several hundred photos later, we got back home, pet rock in tow. It's currently living next to my pot plants. We'll skip dinner, cos we had was KFC followed by deep fried mars bars, and more drinking.

Sunday proved to be an interesting one, despite staying home all day. We had an... Interesting... Visitor for the most part. Pretty much all we did was sit around, talk shit, and drink, all day. Then they found Guitar Hero. Oh gods. I made a chicken risotto that night - It was great, I think.

Monday morning. Pancakes with lemons and sugar for breakfast! I had never had them with lemon and sugar before!! It was a delicious experience. As was sucking the lemons dry. Twas great. We then got picked up by my mum, who drove us around various places in East Gippsland - with Keith camera whoring all the while. Lunch in Lakes Entrance, an hour on the beach at Lake Tyers, on to Buchan, then Bruthen and back home. Beautiful photos, which I shall upload when I get a chance. Anyway, we got home, and Nicole went shopping. We got two bottles of cheap soda, a bottle of turpentine, a box of matches, two boxes of sparklers, two tennis balls, a Barbie doll, and some cream for dinner. Be get home, and immediately, we explode a soda bottle with our pet rock. It was amazing. I now have a stretch of sticky ground. Then, Nicole sets to filling Barbie up with sparkler stuff while I make carbonara for dinner. Then we fill the tennis balls with a) sparkler stuff and b) cotton balls before a soaking with turpentine. So then, we decide to have dinner, before a burning. Burning Barbie was epic. I never knew how much fun you could have with turpentine and tennis balls. So we were burning till late, before going back to Guitar Hero. We went to bed eventually. Good spirits abound! After five months of delays, the kitchen at my work is finally being renovated!
Even better, we have an official date: Wednesday the 23^rd of July That's a week and a half!

it's going to be strange though, and hard to get used to... Considering I've now spent 13 months working in a kitchen that's probably as old as my parents - with even older equipment.
So, in roughly a month after the 23^rd, we'll come back to a sparkling, clean, stainless steel kitchen, with in bench refridgeration, new dishwasher, and, and, and, a new exhaust system!! No more smoke through the kitchen when Mat's on pans.


So, on account of this, I'm going drinking with *pyronixcore and =AngelOfTheShadows. It's gonna be awesome.

Hmm. Not much actually is news. I got a subscription again, so I'm currently enjoying that awesomeness.

Last week I was hospitalized for two and a half days. Some of you already know this, but yeah. I have what's known as a Pneumothorax, or something like that. Essentially, it means that some cells in one of my lungs have ruptured, allowing air to leak in between the lining around said lung. Like a balloon. That hurts. Anyway. I went for a follow-up xray this morning, I don't know the results yet, but the doctor will on friday when I go see him. And then, I've got to travel four hours to Melbourne next tuesday to go to Clayton medical center or whatever it is, to see the surgeon there. They've still got to decide whether or not to 'tap' the bubble.
For those who don't understand, if they do, they're going to put me under local anesthetic, and stick a needle in my chest to get the air out of said bubble.
I told them that I demand a general.

Le sigh.

On the other hand, I just spent two days in Melbourne with my TAFE class, or Trade School class, as some would know it as. It was great fun.
We went to Jamie Oliver's restaurant, and got full silver service, and half rate meals.

I can't bitch though - there was 45 of us, and all a set menu. It wasn't bad honestly, but I thought hey, this is supposed to be Jamie's restaurant. Eating their food should be an experience in itself. But, I have to go back and order something from their full menu before I decide.
Anyway. Afterwards, which was about 8pm, we went to the bar at our hotel. They had beer there for $2 a bottle! Out of date, but apparently it tasted good nonetheless. It was called Vergina.

So, yeah. Were drinking till about 4am, and some of even went to bed. I did, I was a good boy. Then got up at 7am.

Well, I'm back at last. I think I've been gone for three months, but I'm not sure. For those who know, there's a bag of lollies waiting for you in the shop.

First of all, I would like to express my deepest despairs that I have no subscription, and therefore no journal CSS.

Basically, the whole deal is, in a manner of speaking that is to say, what I mean is, that I'm sorry for the delay.



Seriously. Basically, I couldn't use the net because it was capped (Being such a shi....awesome internet.). But then I moved out of home (Yay!) and didn't get the internet due to my being underage.
But!
My mum kindly got it connected for me, and so, I return to you all permanently.

Now for other news. If which there is not a lot. Essentially, my weeks have passed with work, Xbox, work and then Parkour - repeat for five days, then go to trade school. Stay up late with the Xbox or Parkour training, whatever is at hand. Repeat for two days, then start again from the beginning.
Fascinating, no?

I tore the tendons in both of my thighs two weeks back... That was pretty painful. Couldn't walk properly, let alone bend my legs to sit down. Don't even mention standing up again.
But that's all healed well and proper, so I can train again - which is awesome.


Oh well, as you can all tell, my news isn't of great interest to anyone but myself.
But still. I got Guitar Hero 3, so go and suck on some over-ripe grapes. :þ

Sad news for you all! And me. Due to an excessively expensive wireless internet, I will no longer be online. For a long time.
However!

Well, I'm home from Melbourne, as many of you may have noticed by my sudden spammage of photos. I could go on for ages about what we did and how much fun it was (sus much?), but I won't.


In short: I bought new music and stuffs, and a new mobile, which is very sexy, by the way, and took lots of photos (obviously). Though it's nothing compared to Keith's photo-spree. It was killer.

Well, I think, at last, I've figured out what's making me so ill - going off the most recent diagnosis of the doctors (acid buildup). I've come to the conclusion that I'm simply intolerant to acidic foods.

On a different note, this one is now 17, and got absolutely maggot at his party last saturday night. It was great - the turn out was so good, I couldn't even try and count how many people went! I got there late (to my own party... Late!) - just after work, so like... 8.45pm... By 11.30 pm I was so wasted I couldn't stand. Let alone walk. XDD
Anyway.... Short story shorter, I got maggot, I'm 17 now, I didn't get my fortress complete with dragon, and nothing's different,


Plus, it's now only three or four weeks (can't remember which) till I get to go to Melbourne to see *L-L-Lea and *pyronixcore! Should be absolutely kickass.


And now to write a list of things I have to do - otherwise they will never get done. Or remembered.

Ohkay... I'm officially pissed off at doctors. In the past three weeks, I've been diagnosed with three different things. First off, it was a stomach ulcer. Then it was early appendicitis. Now it's a build up of acids in my stomach. Is it just me, or is there a pattern starting to emerge here?


Aanyway.... Everyone, you must, I repeat: Must, take note of what I am about to say. My birthday is in two days from now - October the 17th. And for those who don't know, I shall be turning 17. So, in light of this, I expect to see a castle with a dragon on top when I go outside this wednesday the 17th.


Aaand.... In a month and a half, I get to go to Melbourne to hang out with ~L-L-Lea and =pyronixcore. I'm so pumped for it!!



And now to write a list of things I have to do - otherwise they will never get done. Or remembered.

Anyway, first thing's first. I got fired from my job at the restaurant, but got work at another restaurant the next day, so I'm happy about that. Last sunday, however, I hurt my back, which was gay. I went for an xray on it earlier today, so I'm waiting to find out if it's actually bad or if it's just an on and off thing. I'm hoping I'm not gunna end up a cripple.

Now onto the main topic of today. I will be off deviantart for a while, and don't ask how long, cos that will depend on how long it takes me to save money. The reason being, my stepdad's broadband is gay. Quite literally, gay. It has a cap on it, you see, and I like to use the internet quite a lot, as many of you will know by now. And unfortunately, my use of the net has put dad's cap up past 250%

Now, until I can get an unlimited download rate for broadband here, I will not be online.... Unless I'm at my mum's, who has an unlimited download plan... _{But she's on dialup...}

In other news, (Which most people couldn't give a shit about) the Italian Empire does not exist. Also, scientists have devised a new theory: Contracting diseases may be hazardous to one's health.

But aside from breaking news, I currently have no scanner. That's right, no scanner. Therefore, I can't scan any artwork that I may (or may not) do. And I really can't be bothered trying to use a camera to take a photo of my work. Although I really can't think of another way to take a photo of anything...)

Aren't you people lucky? I can't think of anything else to write... So until I come up with something else to write about, you all can go back to your lives. Which I don't don't want. Cause I've got a good reason to keep mine. Yes that's right, I'm going on and on and on. Alright, alright! I'll shut up now...

P.S. I forgot to mention. As a souvenier (I can't spell that word) from work, I now have a fucking huge gash on my arm. And no, it's not from a knife, and it's not from a mixing machine. I sat down, as soon as I put the pencil on the paper, the bloody lead broke off! That was fine, I didn't expect absolutely perfect pencils, so I sharpened this one again, and drew a line.

Ah, the powers of the world would have been amused. I kept sharpening and sharpening this pencil, till I decided to get another one. Only to find that the cat had been in my room and had scattered my different leads far and wide across the great expanse that was my carpet. But worse still, the bloody animal was still behind my couch!!!

Ah well... I've had my rant now, I'm satisfied lol.

Has anyone heard of the Indigo Children? There was an interesting article on a website i visit frequently about the Indigos.


The Indigo Children have a warrior nature, a ‘rebel with a cause’ personality with absolutely no guilt. They are often labelled as hyperactive or aggressive, but this is their purpose. They are here to break down old and outmoded systems – legal, educational, medical, you name it, these kids are here to force honesty and integrity on a global level. Telepathy and other psychic abilities are rife amongst the Indigo’s, which is leading us into a telepathic society. A society that must be based on the ‘indigo’ principles for it to function. Telepathy cannot work if dishonesty and deceit are present. We must remember that Indigo’s have been coming in for about 25 years now, so it won’t be long before they get into positions of power to enable the changes they are destined for. They are natural leaders, hacking away the old and leaving an open path for the new children.

The Indigo’s are frequently mis-diagnosed with Attention Deficit disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This is because of their warrior nature. Parents can’t handle this intense energy and think the only way to calm them down is to numb them with powerful pharmaceutical psycho-stimulant drugs.
