A couple of days ago, my boyfriend downloaded Peter Pan no Bouken!!! I WAS SO HAPPY!!!!

That was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a child!!

HEY GUYS!!! I haven't croaked yet! XD

But Uni has been killing me....really. I've never felt this busy in a looooong time. I haven't even had the time to draw and it makes me feel awful and un-motivated....

And even though Easter Break is coming up, I won't have the pleasure of relaxing....no,no,no! I have to write 2 essays and focus on memorizing my speech. *sighs* Yes, I have to make a speech in Japanese and present it in Japanese in front of bunch of people.

Fuck, I'm getting nervous for it!

And sorry for the complaints here but sometimes you need to let it out once in a while.

I will be busy for a while now but I'll write a better journal after my final exams which end on the 12th of May

WOOOOOW!!!

It's really been AGES since I last updated my journal

I'm not counting the Tag journal because it doesn't actually brief you about my life so far. I mean, the last journal entry was written in May, for crying out loud!

SO!

What's new with me?

Well, I passed all my Spring Semester exams!

I even got kick-ass grades, which I didn't even expect to get

American Literature I = 9.0
American Culture & History = 8.5 (LOL,WHUT? I went to 4 classes all semester! XD;;;; )
Literary Theory = 8.5
Writing Composition Training II = 7.0

Yay, so my grade average went to 8.0 ^____^

Yes indeed-io~ I'm not taking English this year though. I figured that I would pretty much become bored with the subject, so I decided to take Japanese this year

So YES! I'M BECOMING A TRUE WAPANESE!! XD desudesudesudesudesudesudesu~~~!! (god I hate that word!)

But it has been pretty fun lately, we're not many in these classes (only about 20-25) but it's nice because we've all become friends ^^

But damn, it's hard to learn Katakana, Hiragana AND Kanji at the same time

So university aside, I pretty much didn't do anything worth telling this summer

I've just been working the whole time and occasionally going to the movies and stuff.

Well, I went to Spain again right after the spring exams. It was pretty nice but last time was a lot more fun...well, at least I got a tan

OH OH!!

Then my best friend and I got ourselves a TATTOO!!!!!

I'll show you mine sometimes later but I got myself a Yin-Yang one ^_^

IT HURT LIKE HELL!!! But it was totally worth it

Again, nothing much here except I've just been catching up on my favorite shows. So far, Gintama has won me over again.....GODDAMMIT, GINTOKI!!!! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SOOO COOL!?!? AND SOUGO?!? HOLY CRAP!!! I just wanna hug those two so much!!!! X3

BUT the best series so far has got to be Soul Eater!! The characters are awesome, the animation is very much cool and the humor is awesome! My favorite character in it is Death the Kid (it's the guy with the white stripes in his hair), his obsession with symmetry is hilarious!!

Yep, I'm still gonna let this stand because Soul Eater ROCKS!! The manga at this point is awesome and the same can be said about the anime! GO WATCH IT, I DARE YA!!!!!

Maaaan......

I'm soooo NOT looking forward to the finals!!!

They start after a week, and even though I have only 3 final exams, I'm getting pretty anxious about them.....

And not only that, I have to do a final essay that counts 60% from my final grade and I don't even know how to start it!!! DX ARRRRGGGG!!!!!

*exhales* But I think I'm gonna be alright with the essay because I went to the library today and gathered all the sources I needed for it

But GOD, am I gonna be ecstatic when it's all over! Then, summer vacation HERE I COME!!!!

Movies & TV shows:

Well, I haven't seen the new movies that are out in the cinemas yet but I have been watching some of the movies that were out during Christmas and stuff.

Like Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Holy shit, not only is Johnny Depp the hottest thing on Earth but he can ACTUALLY sing pretty well!

But yesh, about the movie

I thought it was pretty good but there was one thing that kinda irked me and that is when the music is put louder than the songs and the voices....It was kinda irritating to always have to push the volume button up and down

I also watched with my boyfriend Horton Hears a Who

I thought it was awesome!! Lots of good jokes and the creative world of Dr. Seuss was wonderful. I especially LOVED the part where they made fun of anime

Definitely a good movie, totally recommend for everyone! ^_^

My boyfriend and I have been pretty active in watching tv shows

We especially LOVE the series Kenny vs. Spenny. You guys HAVE to watch it, it's soooo deliciously hilarious!!! XD Basically it's about two best friends who are always doing a bunch of competitions (which can be very ridiculous from time to time

) and the best part is, that one of them ALWAYS cheats!

It's hilarious!

We also just recently downloaded season 8 of Whose Line is it Anyway? and my god! I love sketch shows and they are amazingly funny!

I loved those guys in the Drew Carey Show but they're even more funny in this show!

University:

A NEW, NORMAL-LOOKING JOURNAL!

A lot of things have happened since my last journal

First of all, my boyfriend got sick and accidentally got me sick as well. But it was okay, I nursed him to health and he nursed me to health

We managed to recover just in time for the annual High Tide at the university. It was awesome! We BOTH won prizes!

Nothing much has happened with the university after that. I've just been busy with homework. I had to finish two essays and being the procrastinator I am, I ended up finishing the essays the evening before I had to turn them in

I also had my second Literary Theory exam. I did okay, the theories in this exam were a bit harder than in the previous exam. I got an 8.0 which is pretty good even though it's 15% from my final grade ^^

Movies:

I've been pretty mellow on the movie-watching lately....We've just been watching old movies and stuff. No new movies at the moment

We did watch the new Icelandic movie Astropia though. We were disappointed, actually...From what everyone was saying such good things about the movie, it didn't "oooo" and "aahhhh" us one bit

The only funny parts about the movie were the references to the comic book store.

We might go see 10.000 B.C. next weekend. Has anyone seen it already? Is it any good?

I watched the series The Third - The Girl With the Blue Eye. I SOOOO recommend you guys go watch it! That series is AWESOME!! One of the best animation I've ever seen and I totally love the main character Honoka. I loved the series so much that I bought the first volume of the manga

I've also been watching Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro

I love it, Neuro is soooo evil towards poor Yako XD Too bad it's almost ending....

AND OMG!!! HAVE YOU GUYS READ NARUTO CHAPTER 396!?!?

Now I'm almost 100% certain that Tobi/Uchiha Madara is OBITO!!! I'm so pissed that we have to wait another week for it!! DX

Meh, nothing much has happened since my last journal. Just the same stuff over again:

- Go to sleep REALLY late at night with my boyfriend (we mostly just goof off or watch something on my portable hard drive X3 )
- Wake up around noon because nearly all my classes start after noon
- Go to the classes and try to be motivated enough to take down notes....even though we all receive them through the net
- Go home to our apartment where I lazy off on the net while trying to do some homework (somehow, it's hard to concentrate on it now )

But I AM happy with one thing. I had an exam on Literary Theory (English) which counts as 15 % from the final grade and I did awesomely well!!! I even got my result quickly: 9.3 out of 10.0

But next week is reading week, so there'll be no classes then. ^_^ Even though it sounds great, I still have to catch up on my reading....Haven't been be able to read much for American History and Culture

Movies:

As you can see from the journal title, I've seen some of the new movies of 2008 ^_^

My boyfriend and I went to see Cloverfield first. HOLY SHIT!!!! I had heard somewhere here on DA that the monster wouldn't show up much in the movie.

Boy, how much I wanted to kick the person who said that in the ass!!!
I think it was the first time that I have screamed so much in the movies
But I totally recommend everyone to see that movie, it's very exciting!! I hope they make a video game from the movie ^^

Then in between that, we watched Disturbia. I know, it's not a 2008 movie but we hadn't seen it. It's funny, really...Normally I don't like watching horror, thriller or war movies but these two weeks, I've been watching almost nothing but them!!! >w<
It was very exciting as well. I like the actor a lot, Shia LeBeuf I hope he'll do well in Indiana Jones

Then last weekend, my boyfriend's little brother crashed at our apartment and we went to see Rambo.
Okay. Wow.
I really had no idea this movie would be so BRUTAL!!! DX
I mean, they showed everything and I mean, ALMOST EVERYTHING!!! But while I was watching it, I couldn't help holding back angry tears....it was just so awful to see how the Burma military treated their own people! Killing innocents, like children, for God's sake!! It really made me want to do something....anything to make them feel better, you know?
I really wasn't expecting a Stallone movie would make me feel like that XD

Last Saturday my University put together a Japanese festival. It was planned by the students who are studying Japanese and they did a pretty good job!

I dragged my parents with me, because I knew that it would take their mind off a certain thing and besides, my dad was interested to go there in the first place

I had sooo much fun! I ate odangos, onigiris (which were delicious with just a few spices) and we drank a special Macha green tea.

DAMN, THAT TEA WAS BITTER!!! >w<

We were offered a sweet rice cake before we drank our tea but it really didn't help balance the flavour

Then I met the Japanese teacher and she was a bit shocked that I could talk a bit Japanese. But I was relieved that she didn't laugh when I told her that I had learned from watching anime, in fact she was pretty impressed It was soooo much fun!

I also got my name written in Japanese You can see it here!!

I watched Beowulf when we got back home....It was alright but not great. It was a good thing I didn't go watch in the cinemas

However, when I was watching it, I really wished that it was Beowulf, the movie Gerald Butler starred in and was filmed here in Iceland. But hey, beggars can't be choosers

........tonight my family and I had to put our beloved cat, GÃ¦li, to sleep....

......It was for the best. . .He was already feeling so ill that he was close to death for the past week. . .

It's very hard for me to write this because he was considered one of the family and was like a little brother to me

Everybody in the family cried I'm still crying as I'm writing this...

But he died a peaceful death and he will be buried gracefully...I have so many happy memories from our time together and it can be clear that our family loved him very much!!

We will not get us another cat because GÃ¦li was our most treasured one.

You will be forever living in our memories and in our hearts, GÃ¦li.

You will never be forgotten. May God bless you and rest in peace.

University:

YAYYYY!!!!! I FINALLY got my last essay back. AND it had been graded and everything!
I got a 8.5 for it, which is my highest grade in this course But I'm super glad because the teacher said I had improved a lot
So my final grade is gonna change, it's gonna be a bit better than it was previously ^___^

And I asked my British Literature teacher (who teaches me Literary Theory for this semester) if I could take a look at my British Literature final exam, because I wanted to see what I had done wrong in it and stuff, and I noticed that instead of getting the exam grade 89 %, I was supposed to get 91.6% out of 100%.

So overall, my final grade should be 9.0 instead of 8.5, like I received at the end of December.
So I told my teacher about it, and she's gonna take a look at it tonight and then email me the correct result ^_^

But if my calculations are correct, then I will get 9.0 in British Literature!!!

Overall, my classes seem alright I really like Literary Theory but only because the teacher makes it fun and American History and Culture also seem fun because of the teacher
I think it all matters what kinda teachers you have for each subject...It's better to have a teacher/professor who actually enjoys teaching the subject ^_^

I've seen 2 new movies from my last journal

I went to see National Treasure: Book of Secrets with my boyfriend and our friend. And I hafta say I very much enjoyed it I thought the first movie was pretty good and I wasn't disappointed with the second one ^^ Even after the movie, I started thinking about some of the myths presented in the movie, like the President's book and stuff like that

I also went to see Death at a Funeral with my parents and I really liked it! It was soooo funny!! I LOVED the guy who was always stoned/had been drugged XD He was hilarious.
I totally recommend that movie ^_^

And either this Tuesday or Wednesday, I'm gonna go watch Cloverfield with my boyfriend I just hope I won't get motionsick from watching it

Okay....this is really weird.

I STILL haven't received my final grade for the Essay class and it's been 4 FRIGGIN WEEKS since I let the teacher have it.

I'd rather much like to know my grade since my second semester starts in 2 days!!

Anyways, I received my final grade for British Literature...I got 8.5, which is good but I really thought that I did splendid on the final exam....I guess the points counts in this matter *sighs*

Let's just hope I'll do better in my next classes. But they don't sound very interesting....

I chose these classes for my second semester:

American History and Culture = pretty much the same as the British History and Culture but with a different teacher...
American Literature = Crap, I don't know any American poets and the one who teaches this class is the one who taught the Essay Class!! Oh NOES!! DX
Literary Theory = Okay, the only reason I chose this class is because it's got the same teacher who taught British Literature and she was pretty good!
English Composition II = -_-;;; Yes, I had to chose this one....If I'm ever going to graduate from University, I need to be good at writing essays

Meh, let's just hope they turn out alright.....

Nothing much has been happening in the University except for the final exams. I had 4 of them while one had no final exams - just essays.

So, I've received results from 3 of my classes....

General Linguistics (English) = 8.5
British History and Culture = 7.0
That damn Philosophy class = 6.0

ehehehehe....turns out I did worst in Philosophy At least from these classes. I wasn't that surprised, actually. I'm not that good in Philisophy and it's good that I passed, considering the fact that it was a 100% exam!

The ones that I haven't received results are:

English Composition Training (the essay class)
British Literature

I really hope I'll receive a good grade for my final essay. I didn't get a good one on my third essay, I nearly had a depression attack!! So I really worked my butt off for the last essay....

As for British Literature....I ACED THE FUCKING LAST EXAM!!!! I knew every answer and everything!!! Damn, did I feel good when I had finished! Now just to wait for the final result.

Hairspray = OMG!! Sooooo good!!! I LOVED the music in it and John Travolta was hilarious!! And why does that guy from High School Musical have to be sooo damn cute/hot!??

Bridge to Terabithia = I really liked this one, actually so much that I cried at the end If you haven't watched it, you should. It really makes you appreciate the childhood imagination

My boyfriend and I moved into our apartment on campus last week ^_^
We kinda spent our last week putting our stuff in and waiting to get some more stuff to make the apartment look more homely
But now it looks great, kinda weird having our own place though....but I'm getting used to it ^^
The only thing I can complain about the apartment are our neighbours on the floor above us....MY GOD!! Their footsteps are always so LOUD for some weird reason and they're always moving something around....IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!! I really don't it....it always starts around 2 am in the morning...Maybe we should tell the landlord....I dunno

Oh, I found out that I did good on my Mid-Terms exams I got 9.0 (I think...not so sure... it was either 8.5 or 9.0 ) on General Linguistics and 8.3 on British Literature I was told by my older brother that it was a very good grade in an university-level
I also received my grade for the Home Assignment I had to do for British Literature and I got a 9.0!!

As of now, I'm waiting to receive my grade for a research essay that I had to do last week....I hope I did okay. The thing is, I've never done a research essay before so this was kinda my first one, so I'm hoping that I did good

But OMG!!! Finals are approaching!!! The months have gone by so fast!! I'm soooo not ready for the finals....

Stardus was okay, there were some funny moments in it (Robert DeNiro, holy crap!! I had no idea he could be this funny!! XD ) but you guys HAVE TO SEE Superbad!! It's like one of the funniest comedies I have ever seen!! I was laughing the entire time, just seeing the whole geekiness in it was hilarious!!

Then my boyfriend downloaded Good Luck Chuck and it turned out to be quite funny too! My boyfriend and I FINALLY got an appartment in the university campus!!!!

Well, Midterms have started in my English Department, which means that everybody has a week off to go study for their midterms exams. I only got 2 midterm exams and I've already taken the first one (did pretty good, considering the fact that the exam was done over the internet ). So that means I've got one left, which is on October 22nd....and I still haven't started studying for it

I feel kinda bad that I haven't....I've only just looked over the first part but I really need to start crankin' if I wanna do good in this class

Ahhh, but it's sooo good to be able to sleep in these few days X3

Wow, I've been watching so many movies lately O_O But it's so nice to watch them with my boyfriend and my best friend, so I don't mind

Die Hard 4: Very good, I like all the Die Hard movies - Die Hard 3 is my all time favorite + Bruce Willis rocks! - but I didn't like the ending very much....It's tradition in these movies that the bad guys die in style!

Hot Fuzz: Damn, the British can have such black humour! It was funny and towards the end of the movie, it took me by surprise! O_O I kind of suspected who the murderer was and it turned out that I was right But I recommend you guys go see it, funny how they make fun of common action movies ^_^

I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry: I LOVE all the movies that Adam Sandler stars in - Click, Happy Gilmore and Bulletproof are my all time favorites! I dunno why, but Adam Sandler REALLY reminds me of my older brother, ever since I saw Billy Madison But it's okay since they're both sooo funny This movie was great, really funny moments and it taught us some stuff too, like respecting others ^_^

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End: FINALLY I got to see it! But the thing is....it really confused me I wasn't very happy with it...the first one is the best, in my opinion The only things that stood out in the movie was Captain Barbossa and Jack Sparrow, of course! University Life:

Well, nothing much has been happening at the university lately....just the same thing over and over again:

Sleep, going to lectures, taking notes (or doodling when I'm in Philosophy class ), driving either to my grandparents' place or my place, hang out and then the same cycle over again

You can't believe how tiring it is for me and my boyfriend We're always wishing we had an appartment in the city....well, maybe next semester we'll get one! Cross your (and our) fingers, guys!!!

We've had nothing to do except reading in all my classes! It's weird when you don't have assignments all the time....actually I just did my FIRST assignment two weeks ago! And I'm in middle of a second one at the moment....that is if my stupid partner wants to be a part of it.... *grumbles grumbles*
Anyways, hopefully we'll manage somehow....

Daily Life of Mine:

Erm....nothing much has been happening in my daily life either

I've just been watching anime, tv shows and movies and hanging out with my boyfriend We've been taking of the house since my parents went to Turkey and England for almost 3 weeks! They finally came back home last Monday.

OMG, I WAS SOOOOO HAPPY!!!! T^T

Yeah, I know I'm a weird kid but the house was somewhat lonely without them....It's much more livelier when they are around

BUUUT they are now going to Spain for 5 days!!! OAO WHY THE HELL!?!?

When they come home, I'm sooo gonna chain them to their bed!!

But hey, something interesting happened to me two weeks ago I was chatting with on MSN (which we haven't done in such a long time!!! ERICA-CHAN!!!)

Anyways, since Erica had recently bought a Pokemon Pearl, we decided to to try out the Wi-Fi Connection. It was hard to do at first, since the connection wasn't that good but once my boyfriend fixed mine, we could talk to each other on Nintendo DS!!! I know it's not such a big deal for some but it was for me because we live sooooo far away from each other (Me = Iceland, Erica = USA) ^__^

College Life

Yep, that's right. I'm a college student now, at the University of Iceland
I'm currently learning English in the Department of English, but I might add Japanese in my schedule if I can

So, the classes seem pretty boring but I can't judge them just yet because I've only had one class from each of them And they were all introduction classes

But it's kinda weird to just sit and listen to lectures I'm more used to more activities in classes like assigments and homework....It's gonna be hard to adjust to it Well, Ganbatte me!!

Movies

So I didn't do much during my last weeks of summer....I was mainly just working and hanging around with my boyfriend but I have been going to the movies a lot more than usual!

so the following movies I've seen were:

Transformers: Just AWESOME!!!! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time with my mouth open I loved it so much, Bumblebee FTW!!!

Rush Hour 3: OMG!! So FUNNY!!! I went to see it twice! Once with my brothers and then again with my boyfriend and his little brother Chris Tucker was the man in the movie!!

Surf's Up: Okay but I think I've seen way too many penguin movies lately....It won't beat Happy Feet but it's enjoyable and Shia LeBeauf stars in it

It's my weekend off and I'm soooo gonna enjoy sleeping for hours!

Hey, I went to see the Simpsons Movie last Thursday with my boyfriend.

IT. WAS. GREAT!!!

I laughed the entire time, even though a lot of people (including my older brother) thought it was just like watching a 2-hour-long episode with them.....what do I care? As long as it makes me laugh, I love it!

There are sooooo many movies that I wanna see!!! And I missed some of them

I still haven't seen PotC 3: At World's End, Shrek the Third, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Die Hard 4!!!!
Well, I guess I can watch Die Hard 4 when I borrow my nephew's portable Hard Drive.....but I think I have to wait until the others get released on DVDs because the movies have stopped showing them to make room for all the big-time movies.....

Speaking of Big-time movies....has anyone seen Transformers?
I know it's a lame question, since it was premiered in the US the 4th of July but it just premiered here in Iceland last Wednesday and I REALLY WANNA SEE IT!!!!

I was going to see it this Thursday but my boyfriend had to work late, so we wouldn't be able to make it in time....oh well, Next week it is!!

I'm expecting two boxes from the US!!! One from *curry23 which includes my commission & the sketchbook I bought from her, along with her letter, and one from =gloomknight, which includes my 5th prize which I won in his Tasty Fanart contest!! I can't wait to get both of them!!

Oh, and I have a question for you guys. Do you have any tattoos on your body?

The thing is, I really wanna get a tattoo, preferably before I start college (dunno why, I just do). So, if any of you have one, tell me....does it hurt really much? I have asked a lot of my friends that and they say that it hurts at first but after that not so much....

I know that there is a Taiwanese one already but I prefer the Japanese one because I can understand some of the Japanese It was amusing to watch it I haven't watch Live-Action before, so this is my first time watching one of those....and I quite like it actually ^_^ Even though it's a bit different from the manga - WHICH I LOVE!!!! -

Okay, this is really bizarre....

I was just looking through my old drawings in my gallery when I suddenly noticed that all the comments from you guys that were made when I submitted those pieces, HAVE VANISHED!!!!!!!!

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?

I don't really get it, I didn't disabled the comments or anything because I happen to like when people comment on my drawings, so WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY GONE???

Even the comments from my Merry Christmas - Haruhi drawing have vanished and I had like 20 comments there!!!!

I also had 37 comments on my Inuyasha + Kagome drawing but now it says I have 3 but I can see they're like 24 or something

Can anyone tell me what's going on and help me fix it? Please?

So, have you seen the Simpsons movie yet?

I'm hoping to go see it on Thursday with my boyfriend, so if any of you have seen please tell me what you think of it! I've been a fan of the Simpsons since I was 4 and their jokes never cease to make me laugh

Anyways, I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last Wednesday....it took me two days to finish and I wasn't even speed-reading!! I was surprised myself

But don't worry I won't tell you any spoilers, I'll just tell you that I though the book was awesome!!! It was exciting from page 1 to the end and I happened to like the end. I wasn't happy with the deaths though, but all in all, awesome book. I laughed, I cried, I was shocked (and still am, for some weird reasons, even though I kinda suspected it.... )
My mom told me I was silly for crying over a book and my boyfriend said this to me as a joke:

"These are fictional characters. Fiction-al chara-cters! Is any of this getting through to you?"

And I responded with Jay's voice:

Okay, I thought that after I was done with Summer school, I would finally be able to relax....

Boy was I wrong!

These last two weeks have been the most busiest weeks I've ever been in, and that's only by working lol I also had to work overtime which is a first for me but it's okay because I get a lot of moneh!

I even volunteered to help at a wedding which was held at the museum, where I work ^^ It was fun, I've never been to a wedding before There were people there from California (or was it Miami...? ) and I had a lot of fun speaking English to them and Spanish One of the guests even gave me her phonenumber, if I ever needed help speaking Spanish better It was awesome!

So, now finally I'll be having some relaxing days at work now and I may get some days off as well but I'm not too sure

I went to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last Thursday with my boyfriend and let me tell you this:

The movie was fucking AWESOME!!!!

I had such low expectations for it because I HATED the fourth movie but now I have more hope for the last two, ONLY if the same director directs them ^_^

The acting of the cast was beautiful. I loved the actress who played Luna! She's almost just like I imagined her And finally Gary Oldman makes his TRUE debut as Sirius!! and the woman who played Umbridge was awesome, she really was the character and everytime she spoke, I hated her so much LOL

and the BG music fitted so well with every scene, when it gets on CD, I'm sooooo gonna buy it!

So everyone who are reading this, GO SEE THAT MOVIE!!! I ORDER YOU!!!

Of course, as a hardcore Harry Potter fan, I was kinda disappointed that they left so many important parts from book but they managed to put it through differently, which is okay ^^

Only 5 more days till the Deathly Hallows I'm planning to stand in line at the bookstore to get the book, even though I have to work next weekend Iceland is first country in Europe which gets the book because of the time difference, hahaha I feel so lucky that I'm a Icelander

Now that I'm done with the contest entry for 's Tasty Fanart Contest, I have more time to do the things I've been putting on hold lately, like Gloomie's birthday gift and other important stuff ^_^

Ugh, what was I thinking....? Being in summer school for 1 month is HELL!!!

Last week was horrible! I had to write two essays; one about a book we had to read and one about a movie we had to watch and since I'm known for being such a lazybone, I wrote mines on the last day of the deadline!! I was exhausted! >_< And I've already received the grades for my essays: 8.5 for the book essay and 9.0 for the movie essay

But luckily, it's almost over....I've only got my final exam left which is on this Monday (June 25th)!! Now I really don't care what kinda grade I get because I'm doing this mainly for preparations for college this fall, and I'm pretty sure I'm either gonna get an 8 or a 9

So, once it's over, I can FINALLY relax!!! And draw!!! Man, I have so many ideas that I wanna put on paper as soon as possible!! I can't wait to draw!

For the past days, I've been feeling rather excited ^_^ It's because I bought a SasuNaru doujinshi from . It's not like I'm a fan of this pairing, I just really love Kaze-Hime's drawing style!! So hopefully, it's gonna arrive in my mail soon Then it's gonna be my first doujinshi I've ever bought!!

AND I won Curry-chan's auction! I get one of her sketchbooks soon! I also bought another commission from her and I can't wait to see how it's gonna look, she always draws my characters so cool!!

And I just found out that me and my boyfriend's applications for an appartment in the capital, ReykjavÃk, were accepted!!
I can't wait to check out the appartment!

Anyways, I gotta run now, I'm at work at the moment and it seems like it's really busy out there I'll bring out more news after Monday, ya?

Hiyas!!!!

Yayness, I'm back home from my vacation in Spain!

It was awesome! I had such a great time there! I went to Terra Mitica, Benidorm's theme park, for the third time!! I even managed to get my grampa to go with me to the Pyramid of Terror and the funny thing was that instead of being scared, he was laughing the entire time!!

I also went to Aqualandia, the water-slide park ^_^ But I kinda regret that I didn't try all the slides....I only tried a few

And I bought a lot of things there Mostly for myself and my boyfriend but I also bought some stuff for my friends

I bought a lot of stuff that was made from Peru: A hand-made bow and arrows, a pan-flute, hand-made necklace with my name on it ^_^ and some bracelets. I'm very happy that I bought all of this, the Indian who sold me all that was very friendly and I could speak to him in Spanish and all!

All the waiters in the hotel I was staying, were very surprised that I could speak Spanish to them but I think the reason why they were surprised was that they probably thought I was 14 years old or something At least a lot of people thought that there and I felt so embarrassed to tell them that I was 20 years old

But all in all, it was wonderful and I got back home all tanned and stuff So I was very pleased with the trip ^_^

And while I was there, I found out that I passed all my exams!
The grades I got were:

9 in Icelandic
9 in badminton
8 in Physics & Chemistry
9 in Spanish

I was pretty pissed that I got a 9 in Spanish because I had done such a good job throughout the semester in it and I even got a 9.4 in my Spanish final grade but apparently they grade people by a whole point or something....Anyways, I'm gonna start in another Spanish class this Tuesday, so I can have a talk with my teacher and stuff
Yeah, I know....I'm too hard-demanding! I think it's a curse or something >_<

And yesterday was my graduation It was wonderful, I was wearing my dress which my mom bought for me on the net Maybe I'll submit some pictures of it some day ^_^ My boyfriend graduated with me, it was awesome! and he gave me such a great graduation/birthday gift! A DIGITAL CAMERA!!!

Nyahh~~! It's my birthday today.....I can't believe it, 3 weeks have quickly gone by since my last journal entry and it's already May 7th

Wow...it's so weird to be 20 years old....I don't feel like a 20-year-old at least Right now I'm thinking "I wanna be 15 again!!! Take away those extra five years!!!"

Anyways, lots of people have been sending me birthday wishes One of my best friends even sent me a text message at 12 am last night, I was so happy when I received it ^__^
Then I got 2 more messages while I was taking my last final exam Luckily I had put my cellphone on silent so I wouldn't be scolded by the teachers.

Ahhh, it's sooo great to be free of exams! I dunno if I did well on my Physics & Chemistry exam....at least I hope that I'll pass

Ugh but the worst thing is, I got sick during last weekend when my graduation group threw a party (I'll tell you all the story when I come back home from Spain ) and I haven't gotten better at all! I've been taking penicillin and everything! Ugh! >_< My mom and I are going back to the doctor and get a better medicine! There's no way I'll be spending my vacation sick!

So the next thing on my list is my trip to Spain! I'll be going in 2 days, on May 9th and I'll be staying there for 2 weeks, sunbathing and having fun
It's gonna be great, I'll be all tanned when my graduation starts

I probably won't be able to draw or finish any of my drawings while I'm there but I'm gonna try to see if I can draw something anyway ^_^ So never fear ^^ And I will start on 's birthday gift as soon as I come back home!! I have not forgotten about you!!

I haven't got any presents yet, I mean, the trip to Spain is both my graduation gift and birthday gift from my parents, so I guess that counts for one
And I'll be getting vol. 11 and 12 of Hana-Kimi from my older brother and I think my little brother is gonna get me Red Steel on Nintendo Wii
I have no idea what my boyfriend is gonna give me...he said he was going to give it to me when I come back home. I'M SO CURIOUS!!!

It's the first day of summer!

And what am I doing on this fabulous day? I'm working!!!

*sighs* and it looks like it's gonna be a good day, at least the sun is shining and all

Well, things have been pretty hectic, at least with school and all.....OMG, I CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE GOT A WEEK LEFT UNTIL THE FINAL EXAMS BEGIN!!!

It's just sooo weird...I'm almost done with high school, luckily I've only got 2 final exams I finished Icelandic this week But the only problem I've got, is that my Icelandic teacher doesn't seem to recieve my final assignment....bleh, her internet/computer/email sucks!!

Now there are 3 birthdays coming up, one of my best friend's birthday, my mother's birthday and my own birthday In 3 weeks (May 7th), I'm gonna turn 20 years old! I feel so old already
I've been debating whether I should hold the party before I go to Spain or after I come home....suddenly it's so hard to decide which is better

Yes, indeed-io (Chandler, you crack me up )....I'm going to Spain on May 9th I'll be staying there for 2 weeks, but I'll be home in time for my graduation It's gonna be nice to be able to relax when you're done with your final exams

Hmmm....as for art, I'm still working on the gifts and kiribans I'm currently working on the Morissa & Rhedry piece which you can see the WIP in my gallery I hope I'll be able to finish it during the weekend....but can you guys help me with something?

Happy Easter everyone!!!

I hope you've had a wonderful Easter break/Spring Break and managed to relax a little before school & everything else starts again

Yesh, I know I'm writing this a day early but I'll probably be busy tomorrow, eating my easter egg and playing with my Wii

THAT'S RIGHT, I GOT MYSELF A WII!!!! It's sooo much fun I've only got Wii Sports for now but I'm definitely gonna buy Twilight Princess soon! ^_^ I love playing Wii Sports, I'm best in bowling and boxing, I managed to beat the crap outta 5 men in boxing yesterday! I was on fire!

It started to snow yesterday while I was at my boyfriend's place....SNOW in April?!? My boyfriend said that God was a little late with his April Fool's joke And I had to agree with him I mean, the weather here is a joke, literally....one minute there's sunshine and everything and the next minute, there's a blizzard!

I've watched two new films lately, I went to the movies with my parents to see Wild Hogs and I watched School for Scoundrels with my boyfriend. I LOVED Wild Hogs! It was hilarious, I mean common! 4 middle aged men trying to look like cool bikers! I made fun of my dad, I said that it kinda reflected his life because he's got a motorcycle AND a snowjet. He just laughed, nodding
School for Scoundrels was also funny. I love that Napoleon Dynamite guy! He's just soo dorky I thought he was hilarious in The Benchwarmers!

Whoo, I think I'm gonna be real busy art wise these next months I decided to join 's Tasty Fanart Contest It looks really interesting and the prices look awesome! Go join his contest, I DOUBLEDARE YOU!!!!
I managed to finish inking one drawing of mine, now I have to scan it in and try to see if I can color it in Photoshop CS2 with my tablet, if not then my trusty colorpencils to the rescue!
I think I'm gonna ink another drawing of mine once I get back home from work and perhaps continue working on my gifts and kiribans as well

I watched Pan's Labyrinth with my boyfriend awhile ago and it was pretty good. I didn't watch the bloody parts though (I'm such a WUSS!! ). And it was that good that I cried at the end of the movie
I cry at a lot of movies.....and shows.....and cartoons....alright, I'm a wuss and a crybaby, GODDAMNIT, LEAVE ME ALONE!!

I also watched 300 with my boyfriend this week.
To be honest, it wasn't that good as I thought it would be *gets stoned by 300 fans*
I mean, I liked Sin City (except for the bloody parts *cough cough* wuss *cough cough* ) but it wasn't nearly as good as that one!

My little brother (two years younger than me, therefore twice as dumber than me ) worships the movie! I'm certain that he secretly wishes to have the same manboobs as Gerald Butler
I'm not dissing Gerald Butler though, he's a cool guy (came to Iceland and everything!) but I couldn't help laughing and saying "MANBOOBS" everytime the Spartans were on the screens! At one point, I actually thought that one guy was a woman, until I saw his face

Other than that, I've been busting my ass, trying to finish those assignments from school on time! I actually managed to finish one Icelandic assignment just now and decided to write in my journal as a meaning of taking a break before I tackle my Spanish book I need to finish it before Monday because I have to write an essay about it

I'm gonna try to finish some of my drawings next week. I've started on a much more serious drawing now and hopefully I'll be able to finish it next week. It looks pretty good so far ^_^

Well, I think I've recovered from my goddamn cold now, at least there's much less coughing now and my throat doesn't hurt anymore

And I'm happy to report that me and my friend won the Logo-competition in our school Yayness! We get free hoodies!

I happened to go to a Beauty-competition last Saturday which is held annually by my mother ^^ It's a hobby of hers, don't ask....Even I don't get it But it's called Miss Vesturland and I went there to watch the competition because my friend and another friend of mine were competing Neither of them won but it was fun to watch and I was being a best friend, screaming my lungs out for Tirena-chan! It was also fun because I was allowed to go backstage where they were, a priviledge of being my mother's daughter *snickers*
But, holy crap was I tired when I got back home!!! I went to sleep around 4:30 in the morning and woke up at 3 o'clock the next day

Other than that, nothing much has been happening lately

I have to go work tomorrow, Friday and the weekend but I think it's just gonna lazy days at work, so I get the chance of finishing that Spanish book I'm reading

Oh, and I got a decent grade on my Chemistry & Physics exam I didn't fail, at least

As for art, I've started sketching both the gift for Curry-chan and kiriban request for Faharis-chan Hopefully I'll be able to finish them some day during the week
I'm also thinking of drawing something serious of the next weeks....Nothing cute, at least. I wanna be able to draw something like that without being questioned whether I'm depressed or not....My stories have A LOT of drama, mind you

Well, if you're gonna ask how the concert was, I can't tell you because I wasn't able to go

On Friday I caught the flu AGAIN and I've been coughing ever since that day

I did pretty good on my Spanish exam. I got a 9.7 I was the top of the class and they even applouded They really didn't have to do that...It made me feel so embarrassed
Sorry that I'm bragging like that I was just sooo happy and it pays off to be worried from time to time

I don't think I did well on the Chemistry & Physics exam It was on Friday and I just happened to be really tired and just wasn't feeling well....at least I tried

Now there are these days called "Open Days" at school. Basically you choose some subjects or activities to do those 3 days and have fun. They're not regular school days
I chose boxing for girls, a comedian play (which I'm really looking forward to), bowling and evening make-up
The funny part is that I don't even know how to use make-up! Hopefully, my friend will be able to help me
I'm really looking forward to the play and bowling I love bowling!

Oh yeah, my mom didn't find any Wii for me *sighs* Buuut she did buy me Friends Season 9 and Season 10 I've almost completed the whole series!

As for art, I haven't been that active lately, at least not by drawing new art I'm done with my new ID and I'll try to start/finish those gifts and kiribans as quickly as possible ^_^

I gave my best friend a ticket to see them (because she loves those guys ) for Christmas and of course I couldn't let her go see them all by herself, so I bought a ticket for myself too ^_^

So, I'm looking forward to the weekend.

Oh, also my parents will be coming home from Austria this weekend I swear, they're always abroad, those bastards! J/k
That means that me and my brothers have to start cleaning the house again! Honestly, the house looks even more filthy than the time when my parents were away in their World Cruise!

But I hope that my mom found Nintendo Wii for me.....I WANT IT SOOOO BADLY!!! I mean, sure it's available here in Iceland and all but I think it's cheaper to buy it somewhere else in Europe

As for school news, I think I did well on that Spanish exam I'll get the result back on Monday....Please, let it be a good grade (for my standards = 9 or 10....Yeah, I know...I've got high standards )
As for Icelandic, I have to read 2 books for next Sunday and do assignments, luckily I finished reading both of them today. I'm so glad I'm a fast reader
Oh, and on Friday there's gonna be an exam on Physics and Chemistry....I'm not looking forward to it -_-' This is my worst subject but thankfully I've been doing pretty good in assignment and such but that's only thanks to my wonderful boyfriend....I LOVE HIM!!!!

But wow, something pretty cool happened to me at work today I was working at museum and it's been pretty quiet lately (few visitors and such) but there came one guest today and she turned out to be from Japan!
So I asked her where she was from and she replied that she was from Japan and I said "Honto ni? = Really?"
Boy, was she surprised! And then we started talking in Japanese and the best thing was, that I understood her completely! I mean, sure there were some words I didn't understand but we could talk to each other in Japanese!
It was sooooo much fun! It sure pays to watch a lot of Anime and watching Heroes lately (Hiro-kun is my favorite! Kawaii desu ne!! >w< )
She was also pretty impressed by me when I told her that I learned Japanese by watching anime and reading Manga *feels proud*

Ahhhh, I hope this kind of thing happens again or that I'll see her again ^_^

As for art, I started sketching in my notebook yesterday Two sketches which came out pretty good. I'll submit them on Friday for you to see ^_^
As for the other drawings, I'll try to get crankin' on them when the school starts to cut me some slack But I'll try to finish some of the during the weekend.

On other notes, I've been quite busy with school lately, even though I'm only in 3 classes I've been especially busy in Spanish and Icelandic *sighs* Let's just hope that I will do good in my Spanish exam that counts 20% af my final grade which is on Monday *feels nervous*

I haven't drawn anything new lately All I've got is bunch of old drawings that really need inking and coloring I wanna try coloring with Copic Markers but I don't think that stuff is available in Iceland....

Hopefully, I'll be able to finish some of the gifts and kiribans soon

But HOLY CRAP, did any of you watched the latest episode of Ghost Hunt??? Shit, did it creep the hell outta me! O_O Those shows are just starting to get scarier and scarier....I was relieved that I watched it during the day and I hope I'll be able to sleep fine tonight

That's one of the things I hate the most in the world....Being so goddamned weak that you catch the flu

I started getting sick on Sunday, apparently with a sore throat and a fever and I'm still sick now!! >_<

Gah, and it's sooo uncomfortable to lose some days from school, especially when you're in your graduation year

So, I'm alone home now while everybody is either at work or in school and I'm sweating like a pig from the fever, bored outta my mind and I can't do any of my homework because of my stupid headache!!

Decided to write a new journal since "some people" were kinda freaked out of the old one *cough* Gloomie *cough* Nah, I'm just kidding ^_^

Whoo, it's been a quiet and calm week...The only things I've been doing is doing homework, working with my mom, going to school, drawing/coloring and watching anime. These are all new anime, which all of them are really fun to watch, even though they all have different genres

I'm gonna tell you a bit about them

Sumomo mo Momo

Brilliant series! Really funny. If you're into the ecchi and the moe types of anime, then this is the show for you! I mean, I cracked up when I heard the first sentence in the opening theme: "Let's engage in child production!"
Mainly it's about Kuzuryu Momoko. She's a cute and skilled martial artist but doesn't meet her father's expectations because he thinks she won't succeed as a martial artist. So, he decides to engage her to Inuzuka Koushi, in order for her to conceive the strongest child. But to their disappointment, Koushi hates martial artists and aims to become a prosecutor (that's his way to treat bullies). He even dislikes Momoko and keeps tying her up because she's always trying to get into his bed
But all in all, great series, they're still ongoing and I'm only up to episode 13

Ghost Hunt

I'm not much into ghost stories, in fact they scare the crap outta me!! But somehow, this series are pretty interesting and very exciting! It even got me interested to buy the manga
It's about Taniyama Mai and Shibuya Kazuya (I think that's his full name ). They're a part of agency called Shibuya Psychic Research Center, where they try to solve mysteries and rumours about ghosts. Mai accidentally broke one of Kazyua's expensive equipment and she's forced to work part-time there in order to pay for it. Unfortunately, those two don't get along, even though Mai has a sort-of crush on him.
I really like those series and they're pretty exciting. Like Sumomo, they're also new so they're still ongoing. So far, I'm only on episode 11.

Busou Renkin

Created by one of my all-time favorited manga authors, Nobuhiro Watsuki! I've been in love with Rurouni Kenshin, since the first time I saw it and this show certainly has Watsuki-san's work of art!
It's about Mutou Kazuki and how he enters the world of Alchemy and Homonculus. He gets dragged into it when he "saves" a girl named Tsumura Tokiko from a Homunculus, but gets killed in the process. Tokiko revives him by putting a Kakugane - an alchemic device- into his chest instead of his heart. By doing that, he unwillingly becomes an Alchemic Warrior, trained to kill Homunculus.
I really, really like those shows! It's got good humour, great actions scenes and really surprising plot twists! I absolutely LOVE the main villain, Papillon! He's the funniest villain I've ever seen! Boy, does time fly when you've been doing nothing at all!
I hope I'll be able to do fine on my last semester in high school (yeah, the school system is a little different here in Iceland)

I'm actually looking forward going back to school, which officially starts on Monday (Jan.8th) ^_^ Meeting my friends again and now I'll be working while being in school as well because I'll be in sucha few classes this semester

I really wanna see the movies that are out now! Like Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny, Happy Feet and such...

And I really, really wanna see the new BLEACH movie!! I've seen the trailer and the promo pictures in the 5th opening song from the series and it looks really good! I can't wait for it to come out with subs! And the fillers are finally over!! Now we can watch the whole thing with the Arrancar and when Renji, Matsumoto, Hitsugaya, Ikkaku and Yumichika arrive in the material world!

And since I've been in such a BLEACH mood lately, I've begun writing a Bleach fanfic, starring Robin and Marco! I absolutely LOVE Hitsugaya! So, of course he'll be in it because he and Robin have similar powers But I bet they won't get along, since they both got such cold personalities...

Maybe I'll draw some more Bleach fanart, with Ichigo and Rukia We shall see... I'm still in the middle of Aster High Chibi Series So far, I'm only done with Robin and I've begun inking Athena and I'm done sketching Mandy

I'm even thinking of drawing Maboro High Chibi Series with Katie, Tai, Kyouji and Jennifer from my soon-to-be story Surveillance: Demon Hunters. I decided to change her name from Janine to Jennifer...it sounds better to me

Nyah~~! *stretches out like a cat*

I'm feeling soooo lazy these past days
Seriously, I've been doing practically NOTHING these days....
Just sitting in my bed, either watching something in my laptop or the tv

Well, I was pretty active on December 23rd and on Christmas Eve because I was cleaning the house AGAIN!! My mom insisted that we cleaned it again because, apparantely that was the only time we ever cleaned our rooms
But it was okay, it was just my mom's annual Christmas stress

I had a pretty good time on Christmas, got lots of presents The biggest one was from my parents since they decided to give us everything they bought for us during their World Cruise
But I was so happy that they loved the present that we, the siblings, gave them. We went to our uncle, who's a professional photographer, and he took B&W pictures of us and we put them in frames

One of the things that my parents gave me (and in fact gave all of us! Even my boyfriend!) was a MP4 player !! They bought it when they were in Australia.
It hasn't even come to the market yet....I think But it can store music videos, games, movies and stuff! Pretty cool, doncha thing?
Then I got 6 manga books from my brothers (3 from each) I spent all the Christmas night reading them all My favorites were Ouran High School Host Club vol.7, Hana-Kimi vol.9 and Hot Gimmich vol.1

Other than that, I've been lazying off, going to sleep at either 3 or 4 am in the morning and waking up at 2 pm or 3 pm in the afternoon
Boy, it's gonna be hard to adjust it again once school starts.....

Anyways, I'll be spending New Years at my boyfriend's place I've been doing that for 2 years and it's really great! I always have a great time with his family! I'm really looking forward to it!

As for art:
I've begun drawing a Chibi Series
It's of my characters from The DarkSlayers in school uniforms and all holding a significant item which represents them
I'm done with Robin now, I'm gonna scan it in anytime soon and I'm done with the sketch of Athena

Yeah! I'm sooo pleased with myself

These are the grades I got, from 1-10.... 1 for the lowest which means you fail and 10 being the best!

Maths = 8
History = 7
Yoga = 9
School attendence = 8 (It's because I was in Spain the beginning of the semester )
Spanish = 9

I still haven't got my grade for Social Studies but I'll receive it on Tuesday (dec.19)
I'm mostly pissed that I didn't get a 10 in Spanish >_< I took a look at my final exam yesterday and saw that I got 9.43 on it....but the teacher didn't want to give me a 10! He really should have, I was really working hard and all and I totally deserved it!
I know, I know....I'm such an overachiever and it's such a pain

But overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the results And I was sooo happy that I got such good grades in Maths and History, since they're both subjects I really hate

And my day got even better today Today was the Karate grading (where you show your sensei how much you've improved this semester and get new belts) - Yeah, I'm doing Karate
Anyways, apparently I did really well in my grading and I managed to hop over one belt!
Well, basically I did two gradings one for the belt that I was supposed to have and one that I could get if I did well ^_^
I had an orange belt (which is pretty low, almost a newbie ) but now I've got a green belt! I was sooo happy!

Now I can finally sit back and relax....

Wait a minute....NO I CAN'T!!!

My parents will come home from their world cruise (literally!) on either Tuesday or Wednesday and the house is a mess! My brothers and I are really gonna have to clean the house tomorrow!! and I mean, CLEAN IT!

Then when that's done, I can relax

I've already bought some Christmas presents but not all of them The presents for my parents, my brothers, my boyfriend and my best friends are ready but I still have to buy for my grandparents and my friends
And I boughts some manga for myself because I did so well in the exams
I bought Hana-Kimi volume 6, Ouran High School Host Club volume 6 and Negima vol.12 ^_^

Well, my brother and I are finally alone home. My parents went on their 20-day-vacation last Thursday, leaving me, my boyfriend and my brother to take care of the house....and mainly forcing me to watch over my brother Last weekend was not such a joyous one...oh no, my brother was so damn pushy that he invited all his idiot friends over 3 times!!! They weren't drinking or anything (because he knew that my older brother and I would kick his ass if he would! ) but they were just so damn ANNOYING!!
My boyfriend and I almost never were allowed to use the sofa!!

I'm pretty sure that he has invited half the school over for next weekend because on Friday, the Christmas dance will be held and kids always go partying before they go to the dance. Unlucky him & them, because our older brother will be staying with us that weekend

That aside, my parents are having a great time abroad, must be nice to be rid of us for some time They were in Singapore yesterday but I think they're flying to Australia either today or tomorrow

School's almost over! There's just one week till the final exams start! I've got 4 final exams, the first one is actually on this Wednesday (nov. 29). It's Spanish....I really hope I'll do good on it. The last three are: Social Studies, Maths and History. My last exam is on 11th of december Can't wait to just kick back and relax

I really gotta start my Christmas shopping! I have absolutely no idea what my friends want for Christmas or what my boyfriend wants....he's having the same problems He doesn't know what he should give me and I really don't know what I want

Apart from that, I've started on a Ouran High School Host Club fanfic It's about the Ouran Host Club and their competition between the Aster Hostess Club (which my characters from the DarkSlayers star in ). I'm almost done with the first chapter and it looks pretty good so far

I'm also starting to draw my characters in their school uniforms from the fanfic story I'm done with Cassy because she's the president of the club and pretty soon I'm gonna sketch Sakura. I hope you can look forward to it

OH MY GOD!!!!

It's sooo freakin' cold here in Iceland now!
It's -10° degrees outside, for pete's sake!! That's too cold for my standards since I'm a heat-loving girl

It's that cold that my nose gets really really red, that I might just be mistaken for Rudolph the reindeer!! >_<
I actually think it's quite funny myself I even mentioned to my friends that I might draw a comic about me & my red nose

I actually got off my lazy ass and cleaned my room today It's so spiffy clean now *_* It was also about time I did it It was looking pretty trashy

I'm done with all the things that were stressing me out last week!
I got an 8 in my Spanish oral exam, which is good but I kinda wanted a 9 >w< I guess I screwed up when it came to answering questions My niece and I finished the History essay on Sunday and I managed to finish that hard Maths assignment, which turned out to be not that hard at all when my friend helped me
Now I can kick back and relax a little during the weekend (even though I'm gonna be working). But I know that relaxation isn't gonna last for long because THE FINALS ARE IN 2 WEEKS!!! *eep*

That aside, I'm looking forward to tommorrow I'm going with my boyfriend and my bestest (yeah that's a word ) friend, which I haven't seen in a LONG while, to the capital and we're going to see Borat!! Squee, I can't wait! ^___^

Hiya~!

Boy, have I been busy this week! And I'm still gonna be busy the next week!
I've got a Math assignment (which I haven't even started on because I don't understand a thing in it ), a History essay (which I'm almost done with, planning on finishing it on Sunday ) and then I'm going to have to study for my oral exam in Spanish + study for an Social Studies exam (that stupid teacher decided to postpone the exam till Monday because the kids from the neighbouring town couldn't make it to school today :angry: )

ARG!!!

And all this to do in the weekend!!

The good part about the weekend is that I'm going to two birthdays My best (male) friend is throwing a party on Saturday (11.nov.) which just so happens to be me & my boyfriend's anniversary!! Yep, we've been together for 3 years now!

Geez, the gang and I haven't even got around to buy a Birthday present for our friend because the weather here in Iceland is CRAZY!!!! Seriously, the kids from Borgarnes (our neighbourhood town) couldn't even show up in school because of it! So we can't even go to the capital because the weather's also bad there...
Well, we will think of something

Wow, it's only 13 days till my parents go to Singapore,Australia and India My mom's freaking out She's mostly nervous about having to leave us kids alone home when they go. And get this....I'm forced to look after my 17 years old brother!!!! I really don't get my mother....she's really over-protective of us, since she doesn't think that my little brother can take care of himself *sighs*
But no worries, my boyfriend & I will think of something, after all WE know that he can take care of himself!

Ok, enough of rant for now...I guess I'm still pissed about my Social Studies teacher *grumble grumble*

Well, I decided to watch Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's again ^^ I can't help it, I'm a sucker for Mahou Shojo series I really like the songs in it, I even downloaded the whole OSTs yesterday ^_^

And get this, I won 2nd place in 's contest!!
I always knew that Gloomknight would get 1st place because his drawing kicks ass!

Nothing really to do here, I'm at work, feeling so bored I'm just waiting for it to be over, so I can go to my boyfriend's place and continue with my fanfic

I'm almost done with Spanish Next week are oral exams but I'm trying to make a deal with the teacher to let me do mine on Tuesday the 14th of November Because the exam is only 10 minutes long and it's pretty useless for me to travel to the capital, just for that and then go back home...
Hopefully he'll let me do it on the 14th.

But yay, next weekend is me and my boyfriend's anniversary! We have no idea what we are going to do but we'll think of something sweet

But yeah, as the title says, I'm thinking of doing some commissions if someone is interested in ones
I guess I'll go for cheap prizes, like:

2$ for a sketch drawing
5$ for an inked drawing
15$ for colored drawings (I only color with colorpencils because I still suck with Photoshop )

No group pictures
No Hentai or nudity (it'll hurt my sense of modesty )

On other notes, I still haven't beat Kingdom Hearts 2 >_< I've been so busy with school & homework & karate lessons lately, I haven't been able to play as much as I would. As of now, I'm about to battle the whole army of Heartless & Nobodies O_O

And as for drawings, I've got 2 of them ready to be scanned and backgrounds made in Photoshop CS2 ^_^ One's a Halloween drawing and the other's a secret As for 's gift, I'm still wondering whether I should color it in Photoshop or just color it with color pencils....I need to talk to him again -_-;

Yep, as you can see from my journal's headline, I'm going to get a Photoshop 7.0!! I'm sooo happy!! My mom bought it for me on Ebay! I love my mom! *hugs my mom* And the best part is that a training CD is included! Woah, I just can't wait to have it and give it a test!
Heh, that's the reason why I've been faving all those tutorials today! I need to learn it fast! It should arrive to my place somewhere around next week or the next

What else is good news?

Oh, My boyfriend and I went to his best friend's birthday party last weekend. It was a blast! ^^ My cheeks hurt from laughing too much! Especially when Bessy, my boyfriend's friend and my friend of course too, was always banging on the window everytime little kids walked past it and she always ducked down when they tried to see who it was. I think she had too much to drink.... Oh, well, there always has to be someone who tries to let the party be funny!
Me? Nope, I didn't drink. Someone had to drive us home and that someone was me But it was okay, it was just me and my boyfriend and we were just cruising around town and talking. It was so nice!

Oh yeah, I entered myself into 's drawing contest. The theme is A Sensual Anime Girl: Meaning that you have to draw an animegirl who has to look, in your own opinion, sexy or just good looking. I decided to draw Miharu, one of the main characters in my new story (STILL NEEDS A NAME!!! >_< ). Anyways, I'm gonna draw her wearing a short kimono and she's sitting on her knees. I'm almost done with, just have to finish the kimono, ink her and then color her!

I just recently read a manga called Last Hope. It's a quite new one and I just loved one of the characters, Colleen! In my opinon, she looks just like Cassy, only with a more cool hairstyle! I love her hair!!! Here's the link to it, you'll be surprised too! [link]
It's quite good and I like the character design! ^_^

I've just started to watch Inuyasha again and I realised that Masato, the guy in my new story (coming soon ), and Inuyasha are quite alike! But that's okay because my story is different from Inuyasha. Hehe, yep I´m at work now and I'm feeling bored , so I just decided to write in my journal

Iceland's Independence Day was alright, some people stopped by at the museum and my uncle (same age as me) was working there too, so I wasn't alone! When I came home, I just sat in my big couch and watched Friends with my little brother until my boyfriend came. It was a lot of fun, we went to the video store and instead of renting a video, he bought Princess Diaries 2 on DVD for me! He's sooo sweet! I love him so much!!

But I'm gonna stop now, so you won't barf from all the mushiness from me!

Anyways, I'm excited to see that my pageview is almost at 1600....soooo, whoever gets 1600, will be awarded with kiribian! I promise to make as perfect as possible! ^_^ Also you have to show me proof that you're the winner. Use the Print screen button on your keyboard, save it in your computer and submit it in your gallery and then send me note with the link to it! ^_^

Another good news: I will maybe submit some of my stories here, but probably the one with the Feudal Japan...I still haven't come up with a name for it yet But I was thinking of calling it "TenKen" because of the sword that the boy, Masato, carries. I named the sword "Ten no Ken" which means "heavenly sword"....I think
If you've got any ideas for story names, I´m all ears!

What else is good? Oh, yeah, this is appointed to : I've finished inking your gift!!! So, today while I'm at work, I'm gonna color it for ya! With colorpencils of course but when I get home, I'm gonna try to add a cool background with my Photoshop 5.0

And yay, I started drawing a DarkSlayers pic after I had finished inking 's gift. It's a pic of Mystique (Cassy) praying and her wings are spread out. But I'm gonna add small pictures of the others next to the wings! I'll perhaps show you the draft tomorrow and you can tell me your opinions because I´m not too satisfied with her body

As you clearly can see from the topic of my journal, my country is celebrating it's Independence Day. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and everybody is enjoying their time......EXCEPT ME!!! I´m stuck inside my town's museum and I'm working or as I would like to call it: Being bored outta my mind!! All day, since 10am this morning, I´ve just been reading and surfing on the net...It´´s been alright, I admit, the book I´m reading is pretty exciting and all but I want to hang around with my friends at a day like this!

*sighs*

Oki, you can come out now, I'm done bitchin and moaning Sorry, I can be a bit of a complainer.... I apologise for that.

Anyways, I´ve got some good news. My mom is gonna buy me a DeviantArt subscription. I told her how cheap it was and she said that she was gonna buy it next Monday! Whee, I'm excited!! ^_^

Plus, As I'm still writing about The DarkSlayers, The Tales of Nelfia and Surveillanceemon Hunters, another idea popped into my head as I was walking towards the museum.
I wanted to create a story about Feudal Japan with a mix of ancient demons that roamed the place around that time. Yeah, it's kinda Inuyasha based with the demons but I just can't leave demons alone!! They're always a MUST in my stories, don't ask me why but I always think that bad humans aren't that threatening, unless they've got a nuclear weapon in their hands!
But anyways, the maincharacters are a boy and a girl (duh!), Masato and Miharu. Masato is the son of a famous swordsman and he desperately tries to make his father proud by learning swordsmanship and Miharu is a shrine maiden who lives with her grandfather, the hightemple priest, and she wants to become the best shrine maiden AND the best swordswoman in Japan!
I haven't thought about the plotline much, I´m still creating it at the moment but i will probably draw pictures of them soon! ^_^

Hmmm...I guess that's all I´ve got to say for now. I just wanted to tell you guys about my idea

Anyways, I've gotta continue "working".

This is kinda weird and new for me....DeviantART gave me a free week of DeviantART subscribtion and I gotta tell you, it's awesome! ^^ Except for writing in the journal, I have no idea what those "headers and footers" are!

So, what's new with me? Well, I've started in my new job now, I´m working at my town's museum and it's not as lazy as I thought it would be! Oh, no I'm the one doing all the REAL work! Gah, I don't think my artist hands can take much more of cutting grass and so on! >_<

And the worst part of it is, that everytime I get home, I always am too tired to start drawing! But never fear, I WILL finish those drawings....someday So, I apologize to the ones that are waiting for my art, especially So sorry!!!! I promise I'll try to finish some of the characters and then try to ink them!

Well, another request has been asked to done and get this, my older brother asked me to draw something for him! I was like but then he told me what he wanted me draw: A picture of a bird but the wings are drawn in tribal designs because he wants to get himself another tattoo! -_-;
I´ve started on it and showed it to him but then he started to say that I should change this and that and I was like, "Hell no, if you want that goddamn tattoo, then stick with this or go find another one!"
.....I hate it when people, especially my family start critizing my works. I can handle professional artists, such as yourselves because you know the details and such but not from someone who doesn't know how to draw!

Anyways, I guess this is all I´ve got to say for now, but I promise that some works will be finished either this week or the next!

Well, I'm happy to say that I.....PASSED ALL MY EXAMS!!! What grades did I get? Hmm...well, I got 10 in English, 9 in French, German and Danish and even in Geology!! ^_____^ But I got a 7 in Icelandic Talk about being losy in your own native tongue
Whee, I'm so proud of myself!

What other news have I got? Oh, I've already started in my summer job ^^ Yep, what I did yesterday, was to clean 2 old houses that are near my town's museum (that's where I work btw ) and believe me, it wasn't as easy as I thought! >_< but it was ok, I'll do anything to get some money...or erm ALMOST anything But today, I just had to polish the glass in the museum, lazy job ever! Oh, I'm such a hardworker

Lately I've just been hanging out with my boyfriend and watching stuff (movies, cartoons, anime, my boyfriend ) and oh, and the weekend with him was AWESOME, by the way! He got the most awesome gift: A small tablet and a rose! ^_^ Now I can join the group and draw in the computer!
What else did I get? Oh, yeah my older brother got me some horror manga which I didn't like so I exchanged it and got myseld Fruits Basket vol. 7 and my grandparents got me a cool Diesel t-shirt and 3 Fruits Basket manga! Volumes 1,3 and 8 ^_^ I was sooo happy!

So, now I'll be working but still be able to draw something after I get home, you know why? Because I beat my artist's block! Yayness! I'm finally starting to draw again and I WILL finish some of my drawings, hehe! ^^ I've already started on 's award, just about halfway through...I've only got Tohru,Momiji,Shigure, Kisa, Hiro and Ayame left...so that means that I'm done drawing Kyo-kun and Yuki-kun

Oh, and also my boyfriend asked me to draw for him a picture of his favorite band: Hammerfall (it's actually one of my favorites too ^^). It's for a contest and he really wants to win the prize....I guess I could draw it for him and give him the prize as a birthday present

I'm now watching Tsubasa Chronicles. Syaoran is soooo cute when he's a teenager! and I kinda have the feeling that either the voice actor of Niwa Daisuke or Rock Lee speaks for him ^^

No more worries about those pesky exams anymore! I'm soooo happy!!! ^______^
I was doing my Icelandic final exam today and I gotta tell ya, that I did better than I had hoped for. ^^ Hurray for me! j/k

So, all that awaits me now is the summer and my summer job! Plus now I get more time to finish my artworks that I've been putting on hold for the last couple of months

Anyways, my birthday party was a blast! Nearly all of my friends came and we had so much fun together! ^^ And I got pretty neat stuff from them But the most sad part was that my boyfriend couldn't come to my party because he had to study for 2 exams...

But that's okay because this weekend I'm going to visit him and he promised he would dedicate this whole weekend to me! I bet it's going to be all romantic and stuff

So I think I'm going to try and finish some of my works or write a letter to my friend ^^

I hate it when I have Artist's block!!!! I've been trying to draw something but nothing comes out of my head! It's like I have the images ready in my head but when I try to put it on paper, it gets all screwy!!

*sighs*

Well, I've finished 4 of my final exams now and I've got two more to go but they aren't until May 10th! TT_TT
So, this week will end up in studying for these two exams and trying to get rid of my Artist's block!!

Anyways, this summer me and are gonna try to begin drawing our manga: The Necklace of Shilmer.
But I'm afraid we have to redesign many of our characters, for example, our maincharacters

And I'm thinking of drawing Marco's and Cassy's parents, when they are on the same age as their kids ^^
Because I used to write stories about them first, before I came up with the story, The DarkSlayers.
Maybe I'll try to draw them this week, so you can see how they looked ^^

But I´m looking forward to this weekend because on May 7th is my birthday and me and my friends are gonna PARTY!!!

Yes, as you can read from my journal's headline, the teachers in my school have decided to wake up from their slumber and now they are throwing exams at us like bombs!
I've been studying for my exams 24/7 and it's driving my nuts! >_<

WHEN WILL IT ALL END?!?

Gomen, everybody but I just HAD to get it out of my system! You're lucky that I didn't scream curse words or something like that,hehe

And yes, I've been suffering from Artist's block these past weeks but the funny thing is, that everytime I'm in Icelandic class I always end up drawing really cool drawings but I don't want to submit them because they're all drawn in my notebook >_< And when I get home, I either watch some anime (Fruits Basket ROCKS!! and Groove Adventure Rave is sooo cool!!!) or study for upcoming exams! I never get the chance to draw something at home and when I try, they end up horrible!

Oh, well...I'll be VERY relieved when all my exams will be over (which will end in 11th of May TT_TT ), so until then I'll TRY to submit some of my works, if I ever get the chance to finish them

Bleh, I'm sorry to say that I'll probably won't submit any of my new drawings this week.
The reason why, is that I'M SOOO GODDAMNED CRAMMED WITH HOMEWORK!!!! School is mean!!!! >_<
For this week, I have to do 4-5 pages of essay for my Icelandic class (*ahem*, yeah I haven't even started to read for that essay ), a geology report which has to be turned in on Friday (I still haven't started on that ), read at least 4 or 5 chapters in Lord of the Flies for my English class and do some stuff in French! oh, and probably something in German as well.

GAHHHH!!!! IT'S WAY TOO MUCH FOR MEE!!! *sobs* because I always go to work straight after school! TT_TT

Anywho, I will probably try to submit some of my newest drawings during this week but don't get your hopes up... :sigh:

I just wanna say thank you to all that have visited my gallery and all that have commented on my drawings! Thank you all! It means so much to me!

On any lighter news:

I was just in a dance with my friends and the rest of my high school last night and a very popular band was playing...It's an Icelandic band, so I'm sure that you wouldn't recognise them! But while I was dancing like a maniac, some guy walked past me and tossed an ice cube to me and I was like But it was quite funny because I didn't realise what he had tossed, so I was like juggling with the ice cube before I dropped it on the floor. It was very bizarre! ^^
Well, I'm all alone in my house...my parents went somewhere near the mountains because my dad's in a Jeep Club and the club goes to the mountains or to the glaciers everynow and then. So it's just me, my brother and my boyfriend that are home now and boy, are we in a lazy mood. It's like..."We have to clean up the house...." "Nah, let's do it later..."
Yep, we are a lazy bunch

Anyways, on Thursday I went to the comic store and bought myself How to draw Manga vol.4 and Tokyo Mew Mew vol.2. ^^ I've just fallen in love with it because the characters are so darn cute!! Plus, Ichigo looks a lot like Cassy, in my opinion
