So it's getting up towards exam time and naturally I needed a break. So what do I do? I go and play a round of football with my mates (which, by the way, are all die-hard football fans who have played since birth and beat me up when I call it 'soccer'.

Five minutes in and I'm tearing after the ball and suddenly I felt so much pain in my skull, I seriously thought that Chthulu himself had risen and punched me in the face. Unfortunately, it wasn't that awesome and I had merely collided with another player's head. He turned out fine, but I wasn't so lucky. I was bleeding down the face from a massive deep cut above my eyebrow...okay, it wasn't so massive, but it did need two stitches and it will leave a scar.

But it's a horizontal scar! If I wanted to be scarred over my eyebrow, I would want it to be one of those evil scars that go over the eyebrow, you know, the one that Scar has in the Lion King, or Kenpachi, or John Locke.

Shame. All I will get is a hairless patch of scar tissue that's gonna make my eyebrow look retarded. Pah.

I just heard news that one of my classmates at highschool has died. it shocked me to hear that, she introduced me to some of my bestest friends and was part of my friendship group, but she was a horrible bully and very nasty. I don't feel anything, but it seems sad that someone who was younger than me has died...

I've spent the last week not going to bed before 12 because of intense busy-ness and I've been downing Red Bulls to keep me up. I've seriously needing to draw some of the stuff inside my head and write some stories because otherwise they're just going to clog up my thinking ability and therefore my exam performance.

I met on Sunday, twas very exciting. We had Japanese and sat on tatami matting and talked about a lot of anime. I've got to draw some of things we spoke of.

On Saturday I went to paintball with some friends and I found out my dear people that I absolutely pwn at paintball. If it was a real gun fight, I'd've been the only person to survive the carnage only getting shot once in the thigh. I sniped people in the middle of the forehead and did some spectacular dives while shooting people at the same time. It didn't help that the masks fog up and the guys at the station were horrible horrible SOBs, but I had heaps of fun anyway.

Hmmm~ everyone's been quiet lately. You'll probably hear from me in the near future with pictures or fanfiction on ff.net, but at the moment I'm just chilling. And waiting for the ridiculous download time on my computer! $&&^^%$(&* half an hour for one file!? Damn these download limits!%%*&^^

I seriously thought that armageddon was only in Wellington, but I was pumped when I found out that I could actually go! I literally jumped in the air when I found out, in the middle of a shopping centre. In a queue. Really loudly.
But imagine the next thing I thought. Oh no! I couldn't cosplay! Nuuuuuuuuuu! But I don't think my dad would handle me dressing up as some ambiguous anime character. (Hisoka or Mad Hatter maybe?)

I'm in Christchurch for my easter break! Whoo hoo! I have a day's delay on the cold southerlies that those Dundeinites are surviving at the moment.

Went shopping today. Noticed that Garnier Fructus Manga Head Hair Gel was all sold out. Cracked myself up in the shopping centre. My dad is amazing when it comes to hiding his shame and strain from raising such a weird daughter.

I'm also taking driving lessons. I'm getting better, but mind you, I'm one of the only 19 year-olds in NZ without my restricted licence. I haven't crashed yet, but I suddenly know what that 'Friends' themesong lyric "when you're stuck in second gear" actually means now. How car savy am I? Not very. I even made my father, once a driving instructor in the army, panic. How? I missed the driveway. Ppffffttttaahahahahaha.

I watched 300 the other day. Definately on of the best cult movies I've seen in a while. No awards for acting or dialouge, but very quote worthy. Sparta!!!!!!! I'm also pumped to see the Transformers movie. Ah, back to my childhood. Speaking of which, I wanna see TMNT, looks good. And what would top the cake would be a Captain Planet movie. Linka x Wheeler was my first ever fan pairing. I was 7/8 at the time.

I'm depressed and exhausted. My family is all in tatters and the press are on to the scandal. The airplane services reaped a fortune on this one, and I've lost any motivation to study.

The funeral was saturday and it was controlled by my grandad's wife's ex-husband's sister's husband, rather than my own mother and uncle. I really wanted to punch the guy in the face...the funeral was held in a bar rather than someplace nice. I tried not to cry, someone had to be clear-headed, but I failed as they took the body to the crematorium.

Bleah, I'm going to procrastinate...whoops, I mean study.

I know most of you guys don't watch anime, let alone Bleach, but I must squee right now! I found a soundtrack on the internet with my favourite charcter's voice actors singing! ZOMFGWTFBBQKFC!!!!!! Gaaaaaaahh! Now hearing Zaraki singing was well worth the download time.
Ichigo, Renji and Ishida suck at singing. Esps Ishida. Well, yeah neither does Zaraki, but no one expects him to huh?
Gin and Matsumoto were surprisingly v. v. good. And so was Hinamori ~grumble~ I hate Hinamori.

That's right, I'm running (GaspShockHorror!). But I'm only running because my current body shape doesn't fit my new persona as a future dietitian. Everyone who knows me has sniggered or bit down their lips in silent laughter as I explain my career choice. Fine, I'm big, but at least I can lose weight reasonably quickly(correction, mass, I'm not on another planet). Also I'm being bribed by my rather successful Uncle.
So, Uncle Eric has dangled a rather large carrot: I loose a certain amount of girth in 3 months, I get $3000; another few inches and more pushups in 6 months, another $3000; if I continue on my girth and mass losing effort in a year from now, I get another $5000. But wait! There's more: If I keep the end-of-year measurements for another whole year, I get $11000.
Eric's also thrown in gym memberships, PT sessions and other stuff.

One condition: If I fail at any point in the year, Uncle Eric completely cuts me off: no free flights between Melbourne and NZ, no helping with uni fees, no birthday pressies etc.
Pheeeeeeeeeeeeew!
Still, I'll do it...and get good grades at the same time. SuperSam!

My sister Gina also has to do this, she doesn't fit the persona as a fashion designer. It's gonna be harder for her I think, not only will her ample bosom get in the way of her exersize, but also school and prefect duties. Heck, and she also loses a lot more if she's cut off! She loses her opportunity to work at Bendon and be the manager of Australia's only American Apparrel, not to mention her free trips and school fees...

It's mighty nice having a rich uncle to help things along, but we don't depend on him for very much. I mean, my Uncle can't stop my nana having bowel cancer, sheesh, now this is a story and a half:

My nana just had her 70th birthday party (hence my reason for being in Christhurch and Auckland) it was a huge sha-bang with celebs and stuff and lots of booze (which I had a generous sample of), but everyone mentioned how much my Grandmother had lost weight. The party ended and everyone went home to their rightful cities except for me and my boyfriend Kyle. Mum gave me specific instructions before she left to make sure that nana goes and has a checkup.
Three days later I confronted nana, asking her why she hadn't gone to the doctor, she lifted her forth beer of the day explaining that she was feeling fine. I insisted. The stubborn old nanny goat refused. Me, being the second most stubborn goat in the family used my ultimate weapon: Peircing-Ice-Blue-Cold-Dea
th-Stare-Of-Ultimate-Gloom
-And-Doom No Jutsu. Nana gave up and agreed.
Another week later we found out she had bowel cancer. Che, typical.
So nana went in last week and the surgeon pulled out a 2kg tumour about the size of a decent easter-egg from her colon. She's sitting in the private room Uncle Eric has paid for her (him being her son) doped up on morphine and other various drugs when we found out that she doesn't need chemo, and she was very lucky.
God, nana was lucky.

That was the longest time I've seen nana go without beer. My cousin Sean was joking about puting up a beer drip for her. Nana has morphine, she does't need beer.

Meanwhile I had to deal with my own pain, both physical and emotional.
Being incapacitated and in serious pain for three days with an embarrassing problem is not cool people!!
And neither are hangovers: if I see another martini anywhere, I'm going to barf big time.

I also had to say goodbye to Kyle, it may be a few months until I see him again. I hate long distance relationships. I can do them, but it means I can't hug the one I love. Or get presents to him on time. Bloody Valentines day...why do we celebrate the death of a christian who had an affair with the goalers daughter? Maybe it's because he wrote to her "From your Valentine" before he was chomped by lions in the colusieum. His death oldly coincides with the Northern Spring and the ubundance of flowers and a pagan fesitival.
No, seriously, I miss Kyle.

I won't be ranting much longer, except that I'm sad and pleased that the last Harry Potter will be coming out in July. Shame the date is 21.7.07 instead of 7.7.07 (21 is still 3 times 7 though)
Also, Hannibal Lecter is now my new obsession. Seriously, that dude is cool. Didyaknow that he has maroon eyes? That they kinda look red? And he's really not that old, perhaps 40? He also wears a hockey mask like Jason. Read the books! READ THE BOOKS! do you see? do you see? *cackle*

My birthday was awesome. My boyfriend's family gave me a cake and my own family didn't! Don't worry, it's not because they don't love me, it's because they didn't plan my b'day very well. I did get a set of awesome pens of different thicknesses I'm dying to try out; new shoes; new togs; and a book of human and animal anatomy for the artist. not bad for someone born almost immediately after xmas.

My nana's party is gonna be so awesome. 180 guests, back tie, celebrities, expensive cocktails and wine, music, dancing and an early flight the next morning!

We're going to the Big Day Out in Auckland so that should be really fun if i don't die immediately of sensory overload (Pot, music, people, dancing etc)

And the Bay of Islands! I'm so wanting to go up there and say hello to my grandparents. I haven't seen them for years.

I got a new tablet! I got a new tablet! It's made life so much more easier, but shame I dan't have a keyboard on this thing. I also got heaps of clothes, books, perfumes, CDs and things, but this is pretty cool.
I also got my phone back! The old motorola which was stolen was replaced by my sister's old one when she got a new phone! Now my iPod, Phone and computer have all come back to me. *Weeps with Joy*

I gave my little sister Kingdom Hearts 2 and I was the popular one until she opened the Nintendo DS. Well, I was a little wrong about the dog she was getting, instead she got this cutesie tamogotchi-like dog game for her DS. Now she can have as many dogs as she would like. Big lol.

Boxing day shopping was even more fun. All the sales! I think I spent all my xmas money.

I'm getting worried about WoW...it's very addictive and I sorta can't wait to go to Kyle's place and play with him and his brother. Oh Good Lord.

It's my birthday soon (on the 4th) so yay!

I'm currently on my sister's computer until I find a replacement cord. I better tell her that her keyboard's shocking. Really. I have to stab some of these keys.

I got my uni results back. Good news is that I passed all my exams. Bad news is that I can't get into pharm or physio. I'm thinking of going into Nutrition and becoming a dietition or something like that. I was only .5 of a mark in the running to become a physiotherapist. DAMN.

I'm also sunburnt to all heck. I went surfing yesterday and now I have wet suit sunburn.I looks like I'm wearing red gloves and socks. I nearly got really hurt yesterday too. A really large wave knocked me out for a split second and I found myself underwater with a stomach full of seawater. Not pleasant. And I actually like surfing (boogie boarding in my case).

When I can find a scanner, I'll upload some of my older pictures that I drew during 2005, they're really good because I was doing art class 24/7 and I wasn't trying to attempt CG.

In other news...I went to a party yesterday! It's so weird now going to a non-alcoholic party now, especially during the hours of the day. Ha, I don't faint at the sight of blood or flinch generally with pain, but somehow I was beginning to black out (I was nervous, c'mon, I was going to have about a litre of blood drained from my system)

I was feeling woozy and I had that funny head-rush feeling when you stand up too quickly and your eyes stop seeing well and voices sounded far away.
"I gather this is a normal feeling giving blood, feeling light-headed and voices sounding distant," I said to the nurse. She looked at me concerned, "Nup, it usually means you're about to pass out." She said, pulling out the needle and making Kyle fan me down. I knew I was feeling better when I was feeling a tad annoyed about Kyle's deliberate over-fanning ^^

How embarrassing, I didn't even donate half a litre before wilting. Now all I've got to show for it is a rather tender spot on my inner arm. D'oh.

I'm still missing the cat, we planted him under a tree and hopefully the tree will live through the Australian summer. Goddamn it's hot over here (36 degrees the other day! I nearly died!)

And guess how I killed it? I drowned it. Yup, I killed it in the same manner as I killed my now resurrected iPod (which is turning against me btw) except this time it was a large bottle of Baileys Irish Cream which opened in my bag (you could say it died of alcoholic poisoning)

Haha, so since I'm leaving tomorrow I needed a new phone I went and bought a crappy cheap one (which thankfully works) but at least my sim card still works and I don't have to chase people for numbers (again)

On another note, I'm leaving for Melbourne Whooo-hoooo! I get to see my family again and I get to see Kyle!!!!!! Yay!
I've suddenly realised that there's a distinct lack of Kyle artwork around here. Mainly because he's kinda difficult to draw...Kyle, for someone who knows you so well, it's very hard to get you on to paper... perhaps there's so many things about that I can't put down on paper but I can't.

My Motorola Razor, with my pictures, films and messages of love from my boyfriend all gone. I wouldn't be so upset if it was my old brick, but that thing was gosh darn expensive, and the problem is nobody can do a thing about it.

Mum says I was too naive and shouldn't trust people at all. I feel like my faith in humanity had been stripped away. I'm peeved a the guy who stole my phone, but pissed off at the people sitting near me to tell the guy to f*** off and leave my stuff alone. I really don't need this stress near exams.

Apparently, they have the technology to find every stolen mobile phone, all they have to do is to go out and arrest everybody with a stolen mobile phone.
And that is too much of a sacrifice.

Now all my expensive technology is dead, broken or stolen (my computer speakers blew the sound out a few days ago) and on the "bright side" they won't distract me anymore, but holy heck, I'm Y-Generation! I grew up with this stuff, I neee-eed it.

If any of you Dunedinites know anyone who knows anyone with a stolen Motorola Razor (three-peson rule exists there) that they picked up from the university library yesterday, I'd like to see them because I'd like to give them a free manicure with pruners, mask and exfoiliate with acid and a cheesegrater, burn away cellulite with a blowtorch followed up by a complusory sex-change using a drill, hedge clippers, plunger and silly-putty.

Some of you guys must be thinking, huh? Only 30? It's a really warm dry day outside.

I. Just. Can't. Go. On.

I barely functioned in the Melbourne spring and summer...apparently back in Singapore when I was little they had to install 2 airconditioners in my room alone just so I could sleep.
Heck, if I loved the heat, I wouldn't have white/transparent skin right now.

(I go really olive when I do tan, which pisses my sister off completely because all she can do is burn and flake )

I can't even study and my first exam is in a week. mweeeep!

Oh and another thing...I was without sound and music for sometime (poddy's still dead and no warranty) and when Kyle came over he iinstalled some of his tracks into The POC (my computer). Pure heaven.

But.

Now the POC's speakers don't work!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?! All of a sudden my sound has completely dissapeared and no apparent reason for it. Am I doomed to have no sound for the rest of my life??? graaaaaghh!

I had fun on holiday in Christchurch. I did this big nostalgia trip where I went to all my old houses and my old primary school. Some of my teachers are still there! One of them asked me to call her by her first name...but-but you can do that! It's so weird. I also saw my old doctor as I got sick as soon as I arrived (curse you Donaldbain!), and his office hadn't changed at all, he even has a picture of min up on the wall I drew for him when I was 7! That thing's a decade old and he hasn't moved it a single inch! I also self-taught myself how to play piano. I can play 'twinkle twinkle little star' and other nursery rhymes, but I can't wait until i get to learn piano solos from Beethoven, Mozart, Evanessence, Linkin Park and others

Poddy is still very dead, I'm trying to get my sister in Aus to find my warranty, and hopefully, *hopefully* I'm not too late. I'm still very much missing my Emo and Classical Music.

My boyfriend Kyle got the 1000th pageview and he's requested from me a comic: Chuck Norris dressed as a Ninja-Pirate battling out The Flying Spaghetti Monster on a burning zeppelin surrounded by naked chicks. Who knows, I might include spit-fires and biplanes and big meat-ball cannons. <3

I'm totally pissed off about Steve Irwin dying. Grrrrrr.

Also what i'm pissed off about is my friend Jamie. ZOMFG! He shits me up the wall to no end! Today, one of the rare occasions I see him, he pesters me and Jen (my friend) to go to McDonalds (I just saw Supersize Me, no way am I going there for a long time) and I reluctantly agreed to go (I needed to go home and procrastinate/study). He promised to buy us drinks and when we got there jen and I decided to get a table while he buys drinks and his lunch (at 10am o_0) and few minutes later we see him walking out the door; I was going to drag him back by the ear and demand an explanation when Jen stopped me and said that he'd probably went off to get some money (there had been an eftpos crisis across the country and couldn't pay with cards) I agreed, but 10 minutes later he wasn't at the machine...or anywhere for that matter. I asked the girl at the service table if he had gone to get some money, and she said no, apparently she turned her back to get his drinks and he up and left! Drinks waiting and he had dissappeared.
We don't know what happened to him, I tried ringing him but he's a jerk who doesn't answer his phone so i can scream at him (I'm warning you guys, don't piss me off). Now, Jamie is known for being a bit of a goldfish, 3 second memory and all, but this takes the cake. He probably went home, or to burger king (3 km away!), or plainly forgot he had a purpose in life and went to curl up and die somewhere...but all I know is that he'll be looking at stars the next time I see him. Oh, and he'd better wear a cricket box in the next few days too. I'm seriously pissed at him.

Well since that rant is over, letting you guys know that I have a few things coming up for you guys and I haven't pasted up yet I'm also searching for anime characters that can be classified under "good-natured perverts" like Shigure, Uruhara, Johnny Bravo, Brock, Kon, Roy Mustang etc etc. I'm especially looking for ones for Sailor Moon, Naruto, Inuyasha and other anime series. Several minutes later, I felt wetness going through my pants and my brain nearly died; I had left all my stuff in my bag and the bloody thing decides to explode at that moment in time. Not only did I have to deal with wet notes and cash cards (gosh, I hope they're alright) in the middle of uni, but the horror when I saw Poddy drowning in V. I ran home (why did I have to wear heels today??) and dried him off, shaking as much V as possible out.
I put him on intensive care (battery charger) and I got his last words from him: James Blunt, "Goodbye my Lover".

No Shit, that's what his last words were.

I fear that he may be brain dead now. Every so often I see the backlight switch on and I have hope, but all I can see now is apple icon flickering away and perhaps fading forever.
The only hope now is if I can get a necromancer (apple technician) to bring him back, but I doubt he'll be the same Poddy that I used to know. Everything will be erased; all the memories; all the songs we sang together when we thought no-one was listening (he sang much better than I did); the times he cheered me up and the times we laughed.

RIP Poddy, I'll miss you

All that I know is that it'll be a long ride to Christchurch without Poddy.

I tried looking for my top favourited piece of art on the favourites the day it was released. After (no shit) 60 clicks of the "next 24" button and no sign of my work, I gave up. I realise it's a piece of crap and I've made soooo much better in that time, but that's when I realised that there is a ridiculous amount of art on Dev Art. In the space of a year, the amount of deviations have shot up from 13 million to 24 million. No person can possibly see through all those deviations and you're lucky to get a frigging pageview, let alone a fav. Unless you're a bloody good CG-er or lineartist, front page is impossible for most of us...you know the front pagers get over 1000 favs a work? sheeesh.

I've got a college ball coming up! It will be a shame since Kyle wont be there as my date.
I think people underestimate the coolness of classical music. After listening to such emo music as Linkin Park, Evanessence, Savage Garden and Marylin Manson for well over a year, I decided for a change. I listened to such music as Nightwish, Within Temptation and Apocalypta and found I was enjoying the opera and classical in the rock. Classical is so cool! I was listening to Wagner's Flight of the Valkyries (everyone knows that one) and it does something to your mood, it's awesome. I recomend Mozart, Bizet and Tchaicovsky (you know he used cannons as part of his orchestra? )

Oh and the rabbits died the other day. Mum gave them bird seed instead of rabbit food and the change of diet killed them (personally I like to think that the cyanide in the appleseed killed them or the oil in the seasame, but anywho...) good riddance anyway...they created a stink, scratched and bit and were an over all nuisance.

I love parties, I really do. But I'm not much of a drinker and I'm feeling the effects a little bit now. But the party was fun (it was an 18th). I hardly knew the girl, and I suspect that I was the random chick to make up the numbers.

So, there I was, holding a flute of cheap champagne bopping along to music I don't really like (Micheal Jackson and boy bands; I'm full on Marylin Manson, Rock and Depressing pop) talking to randoms, playing "Random Pairings" by myself (funny game, you see two people walking together and you point and say "Random Pairing!" until it gets lame or really weird; I was doing it in my mind) and visiting the champagne bottle one too many times (drowning my sorrow; see other journal entries).

I have no idea what happened in the time between 9.30 pm to 11.30 when I suddenly became dead cold sober (it happens a lot, so I never get headaches often, but I have a distinct nagging feeling).

I remember dropping physics jokes...there should be one at every party (and only one!)

Good thing I didn't have any vodka otherwise I might've woken up in the arms of a boy much younger than me he looked 18! But i found out later that he was about 15/16-ish and, i'm like: ew.

I'm going overseas in a few months and we're going seperate ways, and the reason why I broke up with him is because we never ever talk, even when we go to the same school...grrrrrrrr I have already moved on...I liked another man even before we broke up!!!

And that's not the least of my problems. I have my final art piece due on friday, and I'm already freaking out....especially after I find out that I don't have enough art materials to continue it much further.

Sporkboy's been accepted into flight training he was told yesterday and he's coming back today! It was really cute, coz these army just managed to get him all psyched out and flustered and he's not the one to get psyched out so cute!

have you ever made instant turf before??? not me until tuesday where my stepfather gets this machine to cut underneath the grass and we had to roll it up. It's really disgusting the amount of dirt that get underneath your fingernails! And I'm still sore from carting instant turf around and it's saturday.

we got another pet on thursday (we already have three cats, three dogs, a horse and three cows) it's the cutest little rabbit!!! It's all grey and fluffy, and my six-year-old sister has decided to name it Snow (for obscure reasons ) The only problem is, is that Snow is outnumbered six-to-one in the carnivore/herbivore odds.
