Yep, I've ordered Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows!!!
Yeah, I know, it's out since a long time.
And I've read it already. And enjoyed it a lot!!

But on February 9, it will be released in Hungarian, in my native language.
Which gives a whole different feeling. Yeah, I don't have to use my dictionary or think about sentences/expressions I don't quite understand, or wonder at the names of different characters "Who the hell is he/she?" You know there were characters I didn't recognise when reading HBP and DH in English. Our Hungarian translator - who has a very good style and does a wonderful job in translation - changed some of the names (also some of the places' names), so that they sound more...ehm...Hungarian or how should I say it, so that the Hungarian children can read/speak them easier, I guess.
But I found out who/what they were quickly!

Wanted to read through the previous six books, but I was reading Eragon, which I finished yesterday, so there isn't enough time to start from book one. (Still thinking of reading The Half-Blood Prince though...)

And do you know how hard it was for me to be a "secret-keeper" for this last fabulous book of the series?? My best friend did not want to read it in English, so she's more than excited now, finally know how the series ends. And I couldn't discuss the story with her...
(I often teased her though "Do you know...in the first chapter there were two men walking and one of them said..." And she was like "STOOOP right there!!!" And I laughed my ass off. Am I too mean, or am I not? But I did not tell her anything. Will be able to chat about the book finally. Two-three weeks left.

Oh, well, I'm all too excited myself, rather ignore me and my stupid journal entry...

-------------------------------
These are the clubs I'm in:

Yeah...tagged...about...a couple of...months ago!

But now the time has come to sit down and write!

The rules :
1. Post these rules
2. Each person tagged must post 8 random facts about themselves
3. Tags should write a journal/ blog of these facts
4. At the end of the post 8 more persons are tagged and named
5. Go to their page and leave a comment telling them they're tagged

8 random facts about myself

1. As a child, I wanted to be a taxi-driver.

2. You'll see lots of candles and incense sticks in my room, also quite a lot things related to Egypt, a darts game on the wall (wich is actually my father's), and lots of my nephew's toys (ouch it hurts when you step on them)...

3. I like to sing in the shower. But, who doesn't?

4. I love to learn languages! Studied German for about 8-9 years, English for 2 years (but mainly I got my knowledge through the internet), Italian for 1 year (it was much fun, and I think I'll study it again), Japanese for half a year (sill studying), Turkish for a month (It seems to be a hard language at first, but after one notices that it's very similar to her native language, and forgets about all the German and English grammar, wich are very different from her native language, Turkish becomes the most simple of all! Will definitely continue it! ).

5. I often cut myself accidentally with the most stupid things...like papers, plastic bags, the back of a scissor (happened today), my own ring, a zipper etc... I once cut myself badly with a broken glass while doing the washing-up...I'll wear the mark of it for a lifetime...
You know what I used to say to all of these? That I live perilously.

6. I tend to write little novels instead of short facts. So I must be quite...informative.

7. I have many other hobbies beside drawing: making candles, making bead necklaces and armbands, decoupage, painting glasses (how do we call that???) even knitting (I'm doing a scarf, hope to finish it until 2009...).

8. I think that's obvious, but I'm pretty childish, and I don't have the intention to grow up in the close future! (although I know I should...)

-------------------------------
And I tag...

Hey all!

Yeah, I've been away for quite a long time. I have so much work to do, I hardly can believe it!!
I am now going to a school, I am also teaching English to my brothers boss, I work at the shop...It does not sound like THAT much, but still. I often find myself sleeping in front of my laptop. I mean I wake up before my laptop (in the most uncomportable poses of course...)
Today for example, I was falling asleep again and I woke up...let's see...um, about 4 o'clock.
Whoops! I ran into our bathroom and 10 minutes after I was in my bed again. And another 40 minutes after I heard my mom and dad getting up and preparing for work... o.O
OMG!

So! I hope to upload some new drawings, but do not except anything "great". I was only doodling this manga-styled stuff during the past...months.

Also I did not forget that I was tagged by , and I deeply apologize that I didn't post my eight random facts about myself til now.
But will do it later this evening or tomorrow!

Hey all!

I spent a wonderful Sunday with my family. It was an old wish of me to go somewhere together. We're not used to go on holiday or like that, and the last time we ALL went to a Zoo - for example - was when I still was a small child. So now I am really really happy! (I'm not counting the events when we were travelling to my godparents - for birthday parties, Christmas dinners etc.)

We first went to the Zoo in Budapest. We took food from home - the best way to spare a huge amount of money. Restaurants or even buffets are so expensive there. But we still bought many bottles of water, coke or orange juice...The weather was really hot. At first I was quite happy with it, but some time later I didn't feel that much comfortable.
At least it wasn't raining, that would have been the end of our little trip (past tenses ARGHHH...).
We watched about the 3/4 part of the Zoo, wanted to keep some time for the fun in Fun-fair! I got to see the little lion called Bóbita (I'm not sure she was called like that...but something similar...), and also the leopard brats. They were sooooo cute!!!
The old and huge gorilla attacked us in the monkey house. Thank God, there was that shell-proof glass between us. But he looked deeeeeeep in the eyes of a woman. It was scary, even watching from beside...o.O (Have a video about the staring, but I missed that attack...)
I loved the little ponys. My godson Stephen wanted to have a ride, but there were so many children so we rather left. He was still screaming about 5 minutes after. Yep, that's my lil nephew...
I was hoping the nice man will sit in the house of snakes on the bench. But he wasn't. Last time I stroked the boa's skin he was holding. Wanted to shock my mother with it.
Maybe next time.
There is a place in the Zoo of Budapest where you can feed and pat goats and other house animals. I bought the food for them and climbed in with my nephew. Oh but you never ever should do that (I won't do it again). Once the goats were smelling the food I was holding they came after me and suddenly I was surrounded with them. One goat (with niiice huge horns) pushed me from back many times so finally - with a last desperate attempt - I throw the food and climbed out. That would've been a funny video. If my bro would've used the camera I gave him. ARGH!

In the Fun-fair I tried about 10 "games", or whatever they are called. The new system with the armbands is a clever thing (you buy the ticket, got an armband and with that you can sit on the 95 % of the games and as often as you wish). On the other hand, you have to wait so looong. There was a huge amount of people. So I only tried everything once.

My dad, my cousin and I had a round on the roller coaster. Dad told me I enjoyed it very much as a child, so that they hardly could take me off the car. Now I was a bit afraid seeing that the whole thing is built up out of wood. And that it goes high up, then really deep down...and fast...After taking my place in the car I wasn't that scared and I ended up screaming when we started. I don't know, it just feels correct to scream on a roller coaster, even if you're not afraid anymore. It is a ... duty.
The other brave try for me was the Tower. It is about 50 metres high. You sit in a chair - well tied up - and you go up almost to the top of the tower. Then you fall down, so that you can enjoy the freefall for 2 seconds. And again. I was quite surprised about my father. It was his suggestion we should try it.
Mom didn't really participate in these things. But she laughed through almost the whole line in the Ghost Railway. That was hilarious. When we got out people were staring: mom had tears in the eyes (she laughed soo hard ). Maybe one or two of them were thinking she was really scared...
At 3 AM.
Didn't sleep much though, only about 4 hours. I had to wake up at 7.30 AM, but after I finished it at night I couldn't really sleep. I was thinking. And now I'd like to read it again. But I offered my help to my brother, who's doing exams next week. So I am now writing his themes for history all day and don't have much time for anything else.
Still have a lot, so actually I do not know how he will learn all of them til next Wednesday...

Anyway, I have a few finished but not scanned drawings in my folder, also some finished oldies on the computer, so from next week on I will slowly upload 'em all!

Other. There is almost a month past since I got my super duper notebook, and I've been experimenting a lot with this "wonderful" new operating system: Vista.
Hm. I would have a few ideas on how to make it "even" better...but let's just say I hate it as it works now. Have you ever tried it? If so I don't need to tell anything. Certanly there are things I like, the look of it for example, some features are also very handy...but I cannot run my dearest softwares under that bloody system. To just mention one: Photoshop CS. As I heard Photoshop CS3 will run on it but it's way too expensive for me to buy.
Could you perhaps advice me a graphic program that supports Vista, is free/or at least payable, and is - even a bit - similar to Photoshop?

I think it's the right time for me to actually go to bed, have a long sleep, and hopefully have a nice dream about pirates, gold, love, Johnny Depp...whoops!!

Hey all!

I turned 23 yesterday!
And guess what! I am now writing from my very own notebook!!!

I am very very very happy now!
My mom was disappointed that I didn't cry...she expected me to do so...But even if I did not cry I could be very happy...Actually sometimes it is hard for me to show my feelings to others.

Also I think, the notebook would have a stronger effect on me if I didn't have found out what my present could be (ugh...now I know I will ask for an english grammar book next year...). There were one or two hints. One of them was, that the buying of my birthday gift was the "job" of the men at house, especially my bro's, who is an "expert" in the computer thingies. Then again, my mom was reading an ad about notebooks, which was really weird as well! They were "hunting" my present for a week! After all these...am I really deserve it...?

Beside the computer, I got a great (and heavy) book about human anatomy from my sister. But do not expect me to do perfect hands, arms, figures etc. in the near future... Okay, I know I am weak at these, and I promise I will use the book often for my works!

On Saturday I watched Cats! with my best friend. It was a great experience - again! I hardly remember the time when I last saw this musical (I even do not remember the last time I was in a theather). Though I bought the ticket for myself, I count it to my birthday presents, I had much fun. Hey, maybe there are some Cats! fanart on the way!

It is awesome to have such a fantastic family and friends.
I'd like to wish everyone a Happy ~ Peaceful ~ Easter!
We have a beautiful sunshine here in Hungary (at least where I live), wich makes me really happy. I see my mothers flowers in our little garden and everything is really quiet and peaceful.

Well, I am not a girl with huge amount of journal entries (seing that my previous one was made for New Year's greeting)...

I was away for quite a long time due my exams, but now they are finished so I can submit some new drawings, I think. Well nothing new recently to tell the truth, but I'll work on it! I just realized that my next deviation will be the 100th, so I have to think of something special...

Beside that I have 136 deviations to watch/comment!!

And beside that I have to work harder on my Japanese studies, I missed some time, so I am late with homework and everything.

So, see you next time!
I choosed to learn Japanese!!!
Yeah!
It's rather hard, harder than I thought it would be.
It's somewhat like ancient Egyptian hierogliphics (wich I learned also some time ago, but the website I got the lessons from does not work...ehm...properly, so I quit learning Egyptian...).

Everyone looked strange at me, when I told them I'll learn Japanese.
But why? I just LUV to study new languages. I already speak English (well, you judge how well I speak...), German, I had a one year long Italian class (but I forgot almost everything ), and now Japanese.

So, back to work!
I thought I have much patience!
Many people said I have paitence for kids, for making drawings...

BUT waiting two month for changing my damaged mp3 player (wich I let repair twice before I gave it back to the store), is a BIT much to me!
And after these two months they thought I'm stupid, and wanted to give me a much worse mp3 player than the one I had (as far as I know the distributor must give an appliance with almost the same acquaintance and for nearly the same price as the old one), so we told them to give my money back. They did so.

I ordered a new player through the web, but they also let me waiting and waiting and waiting...*sigh*...and two weeks are "behind me" already...

I am tired of this. Maybe I should spend that money for clothes and food and any other things...

I raised much inspiration at the time...

Last week we had our yearly Summerfest in our town.
I already wrote about it in a description of one of the photo colleges I did for the Summerfest in 2005.
Anyway. It is a international folklore festival with many many guest performers (dancers and musicians ) from around the world. It is arranged by three towns (mine included ), and in Tököl where I live it lasts a week (from 14th August to 20th August)

"...the 20th of August, which is a national holiday here in Hungary. It's St- Stephen day: he was Hungary's first Christian king (now the patron saint of our country) and he laid down the foundations of a Christian Hungary."
(Words from , you can read more about this national holiday in her newest journal!!
I hope you don't mind me taking your words! )

This year's performances weren't as good as the last one's, but still I enjoyed them very very much. AND what is more, this time I could record them with our newest camera! I was delighted about it until I got to know that its batteries last only for 50 minutes... And there were 4-5 countries per day with about 40 minute long repertoir, so I really really got to cut them short...

Groups which performed in OUR town:
The foreign participants
Chile - Grupo Folklorico Chileno Puelche Cristina Moya Jiménez
Cyprus - Kyrenia Youth Department Folk Dance Group (Nicosia)
Cyprus - Pissouri Folklore Association (Pissouri)
Estonia - Kelmiküla (Tallinn)
France - Les Jolivettes (Reims)
Canada - Les Mutins de Longueuil (Longueuil/Québec)
Kazahstan - Kazbek Ensemble of Caucastan Dance (Stavropol)
Poland - Zamojszcyzna (Zamosc)
Latvia - „Rotala” (Riga)
Mexico - Herencias y Tradiciones (Queretaro)
Russia - Kalinushka Teatre of song and dance (Sverdvovsk)
Serbia - Prvi Partizan (Ulice)
Taiwan - Tsai-Kuang Tai Dance Art Institute (Taipei)
Thailand - Youth Centre Development Group (Bankok)

Transborder Hungarian countries
Uruguay - Tündérkert Folkensemble (Montevideo)
Szlovákia - Ilosvai Selymes Péter Folkensemble (Nagyida)
Románia - Nap után járók Folkensemble (Moldva)
Szerbia - Róna Folkensemble (Szabadka)

Everyone was very good, but I liked the show of the group from Kazakhstan the best. (or actually I do not know whether they came from Kazakhstan, or Russia...In the program book they wrote Kazakhstan. When the presenter called them, she said they are from Russia...I am confused...)
I actually fell in love with their dance, costumes, music and amazing talents!!
(more review later )

As soon as it is possible I will upload some videos somewhere on the web so you can have a look at the different cultures!
Til then I plan to make a few drawing about the event, first of all I started with the Kazakhstan-group.
I laughed a lot on this one, it fits my kind of humor so well (you know, that awfully silly one ;-p))

Bree:

(The Strider takes Frodo in his room for a talk)
Sam: Let him go, or you will regret it, you!!
Aragorn: How dare you! I am a KING!
Sam: What....?????
Aragorn: Oh, this isn't the right place and time for this statement...SHIT! Sam, would you ask me again?
Sam: What?
Aragorn: Would you repeat your last phrase?
Sam: What?
Aragorn: NO, NOT THAT ONE! THE ONE BEFORE, YOU DAMN FARMER!!! You will regret this, once I become a KING!

On the way

Sam: But where does he lead us?
Aragorn: We're going to Rivendell, Master Gamgee.
Sam (happily): Did you hear that?
Frodo (with a bored face): Yeah, yeah, I know: "We are going to Rivendell, and gonna meet the elves."
Sam: What? Who cares about the elves? He called me Master Gamgee!!

On Weathertop

Aragorn: Sam! Do you know the athelas?
Sam: Athelas?
Aragorn: It is a virtuous plant.
Sam: Does it have healing leaves?
Aragorn: Wich word didn't you understand??
Sam: Well, actually the whole one.
Aragorn: It is no time for jokes...Frodo is in trouble.
Sam: Yeah, and we're here for...for what?
Aragorn: For searching some athelas!
Sam: Athelas?
Aragorn: It is a virtuous plant.
Sam: Does it have healing leaves?
Aragorn: How strange. I have deja-vu. (((Am I writing it correctly???)))
Sam: What's that?
Aragorn: Forget it. Don't think about it at all. All you have to do is searching for athelas!
Sam: Athelas?
Aragorn: Iti is a virtuous plant.
Sam: Does it have...
Aragorn: OH, f*** you, JUST SEARCH FOR ONE, OKAY!!!!????
---------------------------------------- -------------

That's all, sorry for the nasty talk! :-p :-p :-p Poor Samwise...LOL

Hi everyone!

Taily's great LOTR fanphic reminded me to a Hungarian Tolkien site (www.tolkien.hu), where I read many-many-many humorous LOTR writings, secret diaries, etc.

Now, I'd like to translate one of them...I think it is really funny! ^^

---------------------------------------- --------------------------------

LOTR vows for the New Year
(written by Theala Vandron from www.tolkien.hu)

Gollam: I promisssse that I'll go to a sssspeccch therapist, my preccciousss!!! And I'll go to a pssssychiatrissst too, gollam!

Aragorn: I will be a KING. Err...and maybe I will have a big bath and a shave too.

Arwen: I will bathe and shave Aragorn.

Sam: I'll kill everyone, who tries to get on Mr. Frodo!!!

Frodo: I'll search for another gardener.

Gandalf: As I am a mighty wizard, and the people of this world know me from East to West, and from North to South, I feel as my duty to vow, that I will talk in a style, which is more understandable for everyone, without getting colic during listening to one single of my sentences.

Gimli: I'll show the mine to Legolas. I'll don't go in the woods with him.

Legolas: I'll show the woods to Gimli, and I'm not going to go with him in the mine.

Pippin: I will drink even more beer, I will eat as many carrots as I can, and I also will dance on the top of th table!!

Trufa: Me too!

Boromir: I won't take the One Ring from Frodo....I will not give in to the seduction of the One Ring....I don't let the One Ring to get me under his power.....AAAAARGGGHH!! I WILL take the One Ring, and I will be the RULER of this world!!

Éowyn: I promise I'm not going to hit Faramir with the frying pan, when he leaves his slippers in front.

Faramir: I will ALWAYS put my slippers away.

---------------------------------------- --------------------------------

Well, that's it! I hope you enjoyed reading this, as I enjoyed to translate it! (I only hope I translated it correctly ^^)

This is soooooo sad. I didn't make any NEW drawing (well except two chritsmas present but those doesn't count now) in the past 3 weeks.

I need inspiration to come, or I don't know what will happen...

Most of the time I get the inspiration from my "beloved" or favorite things, or I get new ideas while listening to different music style and songs. (I used to do some "heavy" and "dark" pictures, for example, listening to Nightwish...LOL)
But now neither of these happens to me...

Any ideas what I could do? Or what everyone used to do in such a situation?

Greets,
p.s.: I know...This was a silly journal...But it is really a weird thing. Earlier I could draw longlonglonglong hours a day...
