I went 2 weeks without a computer because the guy who was looking at our hard drive went on vacation (without returning our tower). I've been really bored, and although I'm excited to have a computer back, all of my pictures and stuff are gone because I was stupid enough NOT to back them up on my external hard drive. *stabstabstab*

So I guess I have to start the CG of the lineart I posted (and some others I kept secret) over again??? .__.l|l|



...Anyway!

Hopefully this time around my scanner will be functional, and I can get my sketches onto the computer!!! I've been doodling a lot but haven't had a way to make them digital.

To me it seems like a shame, but at the same time it's a blessing. There were a lot of artists up there that made the frontpage all the time, crap or not; most of these deviations were animu and they basically dominated the popular section. Sometimes, Japan-related photography/etc. made it on to the frontpage, because face it: deviantART is pretty much the weeaboo gathering of the artistic internet world. Still, it's easier than ever to abuse deviantART now. How sad. It's ironic that they're trying to make it fair for lesser-known artists/categories to achieve fame when they're actually weighting the system to cheaters.

Eventually, things will even out if you give it time. Calm down people. If you keep complaining there will only be more butthurt as the deviantART admins are only going to make more changes like this as time goes on. Remember when they changed the layout a few years ago? A lot of people were whining about that too (me included), but the layout wasn't changed back. Then, they changed our personal frontpages, the submission system, and moved around all the buttons and links on deviations and the like. Again, some things were rearranged and edited but we have not gone back to the way things were before. dA has the right to make changes; this is just one of them. The flames from those incidents have already died down to quiet grumbles and complaints. It'll be the same way with this new system, should they choose to keep it.

Anyway, my point is that people are making way too big a deal over this than they need to. I personally find the new popular system just as annoying and needless as all of the changes they've made over the past two years, but I don't think there's much we can do about it. I'm pretty sure there's a petition form floating around dA; if you hate it so much then sign it and stop spamming our inboxes with whiny journals.

If you oppose the new popular system as much as I do, then don't take this journal offensively or anything. I just needed to vent some steam.

Well, as for me, I'm actually doing quite well outside of dA. I feel very very bad for not answering any of the messages I've been recieving, but I promise I've read all of them. Thank you for all your support! I apologize for not being able to respond, but I do appreciate every comment you leave. I'm really sorry.

The thing that's keeping me off of dA lately is the large amounts of work I have in school. Currently I'm No. 1 in the sophomore class at my school! What a pleasant (and unexpected) surprise!!! But this is just a reminder of all the work I do to keep my grades that high. TT^TT I don't have much free time anymore to do what I want... I'm so uninspired to draw... I'm sorry once again.

I do have something planned for tomorrow, however. I found a cute lover's meme that I'll try to fill out to fit with the Valentine's Day mood tomorrow~

Well, not only that, but I feel extremely guilty about not having drawn anything yet... I haven't touched my comments at all either... gah...

Perhaps I should go on a hiatus of sorts from dA so I can get my mojo back. Hopefully, when the inspiration comes back I can post some things here. I don't want to feel like I'm "leaving", however... muuu... I think most of this has to do with my recently renewed hatred of weebies, but I didn't think that would keep me from drawing anime!!! Gaaaahhh.

It's kinda weird. I was never really into anime as others were. Sure, I'd watch one thing and it'd be kinda nice; I'd talk about it until I was shown something else. But I never really went looking for more... Since I've been drawing anime for about 8 years, I grew used to that way of drawing and just ended up improving on what I had already done. It was a harmless hobby.

Still, as I grew older it seemed to become less and less acceptable, and suddenly I realized that I really never was a fan.

So now... it doesn't feel as strange as I thought it would, not drawing anything. I feel like I'm missing something though. I always feel like I want to put something on paper, but I can't think of anything.

Is it a subconscious thing... ?

Who knows.

There were a lot of things I didn't get to do over Thanksgiving break!!! TT^TT Like, I wanted to hang out with ~Kitsune-tsuki13 since I can't hang out with her at school anymore, but she was GONE the whole week. I only got to talk with ~shipanpan once, and I didn't get to see ~nikki-kun05 or :idevmiaka-bozu: at all, even though I was planning some things. I just ended up busier than I thought. I didn't even get to see my boyfriend, and he only lives a few blocks away. (Though we did call each other every day... lol wow we're lame, couldn't even make it a few days without missing each other?) OTL Things just happened and I wasn't able to do what I wanted to, I guess.

I did get to talk with Nikki, Shi-chan, and Alex on the phone at least. I miss you oneechan. :( We need to reunite the Golden Trio!!! And Shi-chan, next Saturday, let's beat Alex's record and stay on the phone for 4 hours. >D

Most importantly, I want to apologize for something that I should've been trying to do all through break.

I've been sick all week, so today I stayed home. =___=l|l| I have a hard time breathing because I'm constantly having to cough violently (causing me to lose my voice, it's kind of back), and it worried me a little since I just saw this thing about a new cold virus in the USA. It's deadly. And it attacks your respiratory system. >n<

Well, I think I'll be okay. I spent most of today sleeping, but I did watch a whole marathon of Coconuts Musume Ayaka's Surprise English Lessons this morning. looooooool Their accents are so cute!!! If all Engrish was that adorable... uwaaaah... They seemed to understand at least most of the question. Tsuji looked like she hated it though. XD

I'm a little bit tired now because I got woken up by the phone, but I thought I'd let you know how I was doing.

Anyway, tomorrow my dad's bringing home a Chihuahua!!! X3 Apparently someone's giving away their dog, but he's taking it home for the day to make sure that it gets along with the dog we already have first. (She's so used to getting all the attention that she gets jealous easily.) I love tiny dogs.

Alright, the title had nothing to do with anything. (Was listening to some remixes... ) Sorry. >w<;

Anyway, I'm really trying to answer my messages as much as I can, but lately... I've kinda just lost my drive for drawing. And, even though I work really hard, I never have any free time to work on things. I spend most of it doing school-related things now. (Well, right now is an exception.)

On top of that, I keep waking up early in the morning, and end up tired all day. I have no energy. =__=;;; I've tried everything-- going to bed earlier, warm milk, turning up the heat on my electric blanket (lol I can't produce enough body heat to keep myself warm at night, how lame), but nothing works! *sigh*

Photoshop CS3 Extended also came in last week, so I've been fiddling around with that. IT'S SO FREAKING HARD TO USE!!! TT^TT It takes too long to do stuff because it's not pressure-sensitive like all the other programs I've ever used, but whatever. If you have any other tips for me, feel free to share. I'm figuring it out... slowly...

Other than that, I've spent the whole week contemplating how to tell my parents that I have a boyfriend.

...Haha, yeah, that's right. It feels weird to call him that though.

He's a junior I started going out with last Thursday. I always thought he was really cute but I never imagined talking to him lol. (B-but he got all his hair cut to make his hair even when it grows out!!! ARGH! It's so short. ;___; I guess it'll grow back eventually... I still can't get used to it.) Well, because of marching band I got the chance to hang out with him a lot... alone... in a small bus seat... :'D

But I did talk to my parents yesterday after all. They're a bit... iffy because he's two years older than me but they seem to be okay with it. *happy tears*

Ahhhhh~ He seems to be the embodiment of all that is opposite from me. For example, I'm always freezing, he's always burning up. (a.k.a. I always have an excuse to cuddle. "Hey you! Share body heat." >D) And then, I'm obsessed with the bass guitar... and he plays it. etc. etc.

Most of my friends IRL have heard plenty about him, but otherwise I've kept it a secret. >___>;

By the way, if you're going to read all the way through the tag... my boyfriend's a part of a band as their bass guitarist (they're pretty good), and his friend who plays the electric guitar in the same band absolutely hates me. DDDDDD: He thinks I'm going to be like Yoko Ono and break them up. LMAO. Anyway, he loves to hit me when my boyfriend is looking and to pretend to break my arm. He's so much bigger than I am I don't even try to fight back anymore. Ahaha... ? :'O

Since I was gone for too many days, I have to take all of the exams at the end of the quarter (next week). *cries* Noooooo! My grades are good!!! Why do I have to take them!?

Because something I couldn't control happened, and now I have to pay the same consequence as those who skip school. How dumb.

Well, I have to do them anyway, so no use complaining.

Anyway, I've been EXTREMELY busy trying to make up my work, so for now I don't think I'll be posting pictures for a long time. Sorry... my dA page is so boring... I just haven't been feeling inspired lately, you know?

But as a plus, my mom finally ordered Photoshop CS3 for my birthday. I can't wait for it to come in!!! Hopefully I can complete something there... I know I have plenty to do traditionally (dammit, I WILL finish Shi-chan's birthday pic on time, so help me God), but I've been waiting to try it out.

Also, I saw the English version of "DEATH NOTE" and watched a little bit of "Blood+" Saturday night. Ahahaha. I was watching Adult Swim while trying to study... >n
I was watching "DEATH NOTE" with my younger brother, and we couldn't stop laughing at the lame part where he was, like, throwing out his arms while frantically writing names in the DN. XDDDD I've already seen it many many times before, but my brother thought it was hilarious.

Aside from the usual stuff, I've been thinking a lot about ****... (If you're a close close friend of mine, you probably know by now, but if you don't call me. D:) It just... agh! I can't stop thinking about ***!!! It's driving me nuts! >w< I keep thinking, am I overanalyzing things again? Or is it real?

I need something to get it all out of my head. :P

As for the previous journal, I'm still trying to answer all the messages. I'm sorry. I do appreciate every single one. Reading those the following morning made me cry in front of the computer, actually. (I'm sorry if I made you cry too! Ahhh! I didn't mean to. I guess it was a really sad story.)

The funeral was very cold, windy, and rainy, which made it seem even more depressing, but it went quite well otherwise. Afterwards, I got to talk with my cousin. He's not taking it well, but he's alright for now. He'll be staying with his dad, since they're all they've got. It's good for them.

I'm not really sad anymore. When I feel some emotion, I let it all out, and when my mood changes I don't dwell on things. A lot of people at school keep telling me they're sorry, but there's nothing they could've done. Thank you all very much though.

Somehow... this man... he just exudes HAWT. It makes me feel better watching him, so when I don't feel happy I just look up videos. Ahahaha. *shameless*

I came home from a football game on Friday at about 10:45 and just went straight to bed. I didn't feel like even changing out of my clothes or putting my retainers in. I said goodnight to my parents and went into my room.

Somehow, it felt colder than usual... I had a hard time falling asleep. I was a bit angry with someone at school, I kept thinking-- was it because I wasn't going to the homecoming dance this year? Was it because of that girl, who had been making me angry with her stupid comments about herself all day? Or how I felt about... about him? But something didn't feel right, and I had strange dreams. I don't remember them anymore.

The phone rang at about 6 a.m. and woke me up. I listened to my father talk on the phone. He sounded sad, and he kept saying, "I'm so sorry". He hung up a few minutes later, and he and my mom talked for a little bit afterwards. I couldn't hear them anymore so I went back to sleep.

When I woke up in the morning, they told me the bad news: my aunt had died.

The way she'd been leading her life, my dad had warned her plenty of times to change her lifestyle or she'd die young... I guess she didn't.

At first, I was shocked. I couldn't believe them. She was always so far away, where I could never tell her I loved her enough, and with the effects of a stroke she had earlier this year, she could never say the same thing. I wish I could've said goodbye to her.

I stopped talking for a little bit. but the nice clear autumn day coaxed us all outside to rake up the leaves, and my brothers and I cheered up a little. It was finally a moderate temperature; it had been super hot/cold all week. Nobody wanted to say so, but in our minds we were still trying to grasp it. Raking the leaves was a way not to think about it, that was all.

We went inside early to bake a cake while my dad was outside mowing the lawn, because today is my parent's anniversary. We tried to be secretive, but he came in while we were taking it out of the oven. He laughed, and offered to help.

I went downstairs to wait for the cake to cool so I could take it out of the pan and put icing on it, and a few minutes later my dad was calling me. I went upstairs and saw that my dad had taken it out of the pan already, and it had broken up into pieces since it was still warm. It lay in pieces on the plate, upside-down.

I got really upset about it and sat outside in our gazebo for a while, and for the first time today, cried. I just sat there and cried, listening to the sound of the leaves in the trees, swaying back and forth.

I came back inside a few minutes later, still upset about the cake, and still crying. My mom shook her head. "It's okay! The cake still tastes good," she said, sounding annoyed. "We can just eat it like this, you know." My dad came over too, wondering what was wrong.

"But," I said, trying not to look up, "It's not about the cake."

I only wanted to make them something nice for their anniversary, hoping that, for a moment, my parents could forget how sad they were. Anyway, just letting you know that I'm working on a script for a NEUTRAL TRIGGER visual novel. :'D At the moment, I've finished the intro, but I won't be able to complete it for another year or so due to the complexity of such a project and current lack of CG program... so bear with me.

In the meantime, I'm looking for an opening theme for it. I'm thinking of using a few different songs, but I can't make up my mind... what do you guys think?

I finally watched some anime! >w< I snuck on the computer every now and then today and finished the first episodes of Lovely Complex and Katekyo Hitman Reborn. (I hate watching anime in front of my family so I didn't watch much else. X3)

Lovely Complex - OMG SO CUUUUTE. I usually don't watch romance anime because they tend to become the same after a while, or lack a good plot. Even so, I love Rabukon. I could tell halfway through that it would be Koizumi+Otani/Suzuki+Chiharu, and yet... ah... this is addicting... damn...

Katekyo Hitman Reborn - Haha~ Dying Will!!! D: Poor Tsunayoshi. KHR made me smile to myself a lot. (I don't usually laugh when watching TV. Hmmmm... )

Perhaps I'll watch some more tonight... I can't think of anything else to watch... :/

Oh! And my parents bought me a soft mat to play on. :'D It's by Pelican, so I suppose this will work for a while. I keep thinking I'm going to break it though. Also, the surface is a lot less sticky than the default pad since it's not made out of the same type of plastic, so when I get sweaty I slide every. 0~o;;;

...I don't want to die... argh...

My parents finally caved and bought high-speed internet!!! YES!!! >w< We have RoadRunner now, so things are moving a lot faster. (Yay! No more being out of the loop~ XD) But once I have the time to just sit down on the computer, I'll be able to answer all those messages that have been just sitting around. Unfortunately, the guy who came to put in the connection... thingy had us move the scanner out of the way, so it's still unplugged. D': I have a few sketches I'd like to post, so once I plug it in I can scan those and update for once.

...Speaking of which, I think I'm finally out of my art block! (What timing. Right after the con. *pouts*)

Oh well.

Heeeeeeey everyone, two things are happening next week!!! DDR SuperNOVA 2 is coming out (on the 25th, hope I can get it with my metal pad on my birthday) and 's birthday is on the 28th~! Please give Demi many many gift arts. She's a nice person and an awesome artist.

My first convention was a lot of fun!!! I keep saying it, but it was a lot different than expected.


Day 1

Our convention was held on the first floor of a hotel, so when I came in with all my things at around 4, the first thing I saw was cosplayers. XD There were some good ones and some bad ones, but I had never seen cosplayers up close before. I was so amazed with some of the costumes I kinda stopped to look around, then went on to find my friends. lol

My friends had a table and were selling stuff near the dealer hall, so once I had settled in at the table I bought an admission badge and looked around in there. They had lots of merchandise and many, many CDs~!!! I found RAINBOW (Hamasaki Ayumi) and ULTRA BLUE (Utada Hikaru) and darted in and out of the place without buying anything else. I was sorely tempted to buy Gackt CDs, but nothing was much good. :( Later I managed to sell my picture "For My Dear", and sometime after that we closed up shop for the night to hang out with some friends. We kind of wandered around the place meeting new people (and for me, stalking cosplayers and taking their pics on my cell phone XDDD), killing time until 9 p.m. when the rave was supposed to begin.

We got really bored because the dance opened late, so when it did we cut in line to get it because we'd been waiting the whole time. The music was pretty lame. It was pretty much just remixes of random songs being played at a pounding volume (but that's too be expected at an anime convention I suppose) and everyone was just jumping up and down instead of actually dancing. ~miaka-bozu had a cold and the music was making her feel worse, so I went with her to the bathroom. We ended up hanging out in a small room where a vending machine was, talking, and laughing because so many people were checking on us to see if we were alright. One especially scary guard kind of crept into the room as if he was about to rape us. XD Later, he sent another guard to check on us, who said something about "con syndrome" and left when we told him we were okay.

We went back to the rave much later and hung out outside the doorway, and then at 12 we went up to our hotel room. We were suddenly hungry for some reason (for me it was because I was dancing so hard), so we made some ramen. It made us all really thirsty and we ended up going back downstairs for a soda. To make sure we didn't wake up our chaperone, we stayed down there and played cards with the people we'd made friends with. <333

At about 2 in the morning, our chaperone came to get us and we went to bed.


Day 2

We had set our alarms for 8, while our chaperone had set hers for 6. Apparently she woke up before her alarm went off and, in the dark, turned it off. She didn't realize that she had set the clock two hours ahead, so when I woke up I also woke up my friends 2 hours early. XD

I couldn't sleep, so I got changed. At 8, the three of us went

A lot of people I had been hanging out with the day before went home or was getting ready to leave, so my friends and I walked around the lobby a bajillion times in our DEATH NOTE cosplays saying hello to the people who were still there. We got our pictures taken 5 times! It was actually kind of cute, because some people freaked out a little bit when we passed by. Eheheheh~

We did get sexually harassed by one older man in particular who kept trying to touch us. D8 The day before he was trying to hook up a chain between himself and *akuko (on a collar she was wearing to his belt loop)... *shudder* Well today, while someone was getting ready to take our picture, he came out of nowhere and took off his belt and then tried to put it on me because it had a lot of studs and gothic accessories that matched my Misa cosplay. It was clearly too big for me but he tried it anyway; he apparently used that chance to grab my waist and to look down my tanktop. My friend ~miaka-bozu got really mad at him, but he didn't go away until later.

We kept a lookout for that guy all day, and even reported him to a friend who worked closely with the convention security. He seemed to be really ticked off about it even though he didn't sound angry, and told us that if he came nearby that we should call him. It was nice of him to look out for us like that.

I can't get anything done. Hell, I might just pitch the bookmarks I've made. I'm not happy with them. :'( I guess I'll just do on-the-spot commissions at our table, huh?

But it seems like I get sick very easily!!! Whenever something goes around the school, I'm one of the first people to catch it. >3< Oh well...

Even if I can't go, I want to be able to give my friends something to sell. I guess since this is my first convention it's more like a test to see what will sell well or not. Semester 1
Honors American History: OMFG MY TEACHER IS THE BIGGEST NERD EVER. He calls us 'young scholars' and makes dramatic speeches all the time. And he breaks out in song in the middle of his sentences. XDDDD
Honors English 202: This guy is married to an art teacher I had once lolol. He seems to be obsessed with sex. XD We talk about it all the time, for some reason... He's really funny, too~ <3
Marching Band: In case I haven't already said so, I think my band teacher's on crack. XD
Allied Health Specialization: We don't dooooo anything in this class except busy work. D: It's pretty much learning about all the jobs in health care and whatever, but to be honest I really don't care. I wanted to take Music Specialization, but that was taken out a while ago. :'( There weren't any art-related or non-technical options...

Haha, I'm such a nerd. XO I took all the Honors classes this year (they're worth 4.5 points instead of 4.0 in your GPA, in case you didn't know), and I can't sign out of them now lmao.

Other than that, my art block is pretty restrictive. I'm sorry if I promised some of you stuff (especially Kyle; I really really want to make you something nice, but I... ), because I think I won't be able to get to them for a long time.

For some reason... my tablet's not working! D: I think I may have unplugged it somehow, but I can't reach it... my mom put a file cabinet and a desk on each side of the computer desk. I'd have to pull the tower forward and reconnect it. *is super lazy*

And I am getting over my art block a little... but I've been sketching on notebook paper. *shot* I'm not going to post any until I can CG somehow (a.k.a. plug my tablet in again), so I guess there's going to be a small delay.

I experimented a little with hands on a dayMoon picture I sketched out; I'll be sure to get that one first if I can't get the pages done.

Oh yeah.

3-day Cartoon Network Naruto marathon + nothing else on TV = 3 seasons of Naruto shoved into my brain.

I've been watching a crazy amount of Naruto, mostly due to my brothers. I guess they find Naruto amusing or something (how cute), but I'm forced to watch it with them... It's not as bad as my initial impression, but I'm not really impressed either way.

First of all, thank you for your guys' feedback on the last poll. I really appreciate that you all took the time to vote and comment, but there are some things I want to clear up:

1.) lol Yes, I'm 14!!! Have you guys not checked my front page?!? It says so right there. XDDD If it makes some of you feel better, I'll be 15 in October. And I sucked horribly when I was 13/just-turned 14...

2.) "AGE REALLY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ARTISTIC ABILITY." I know this already. What I meant by that question was, 'in comparison to other 14-year-olds, you think I... '. There is no standard for ages in art; truthfully, people should judge their abilities in comparison to themselves. If you're better now than you were before, then you're improving, and that's all that should really matter to you. You don't need to compare yourselves to other people. Maybe you're just not improving as fast as someone else. It doesn't mean you're bad. It also doesn't make anyone else better just because they're younger. I didn't mean to have my poll come across this way.

3.) Having said #2, I'd also like to point out that I believe I have plenty of room to grow artwise. There are a lot of things I'm still not able to do and would like to accomplish, but these come with time and practice of course. (Thank you very much to every one who said "you're incredible", by the way!!! I honestly didn't think anybody would choose it and just included it so I would have both ends of the extremes in my poll. X3)

4.) Just because I'm always posting pictures of anime DOESN'T mean I don't draw realism. I do realism sketches all the time, but I just don't post them, alright??? Realism, to be blunt, bores me. It doesn't even get much attention here on dA, so there's not much help to be found, truthfully... because of the immense amount of love anime gets on deviantART, I have chosen to upload mostly my anime drawings. In real life, please understand I practice drawing real people, plants, and animals. :'(

Phew... onto other things...

I went to that DDR tournament about 5 days ago and completely failed. XDDDD They had metal mats for the competition, and being a n00b I had never used one before. Also, I got the really crappy songs (Let's Dance, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Loud Electronic Ferocious).

But the only thing I want to complain about is that someone stole my cookie!!!

I took two or three bites out of it and put it on the table to play some rounds with , but when I came back it was gone. ;~;

Why must you do this to meeeeee!? *crai crai*

Also, I am very very sorry I'm so slow at answering messages. =___=; I'm trying really hard to keep up with them as of late, but when I look at that message box... it makes me depressed... lol. Just kidding. But I do swear I've read them all long before I answer them. I'm pretty busy nowadays and don't have much time to sit on the computer all day anymore. (And school is coming up. Sht.)

I spent the night at 's house on Tuesday with ( came over for a while but didn't stay). We had a lot of fun!!! But Twister made me really soooore. XD We did a lot of karaoke, listened to MiniMoni (dammit I'm hooked), and stayed up until 6 a.m... then got up at 9:30. Haha. I swear there's a reason for it.

My parents are alright with me getting a job later this year, but at the moment (aside from my Photoshop savings), I'm broke.

Yes. I'm back from band camp. (And I'm alive; oooh, it's like a bonus.) It wasn't as bad as last year, but this time there were cheerleaders. They screwed up everything beyond imagining, seriously. Please don't explain if you already know what happened. I'd rather not talk about it.

I hate band camp. D:

Yeah, I'm a marching band geek, so from this Sunday to next Friday, or July 15 - 20, I'll be at band camp (a.k.a. hell hole in the middle of nowhere).

And how is it??? I'm loving this. *o* It doesn't take very long at all to answer messages anymore... but I end up spending all that time here anyway messing with things.

Anyway. Since today is the fourth of July (Independence Day in the US), my dad is smoking ribs out back. I can smell them from here~ ohhhh, so good~ <3 But I can't have any for several more hours.

I have the scripts ready for the first few pages of dayMoon already, so once I finish inking/toning them they'll go up for critique!!! And then we'll unveil... haha. It's a secret~

As for Jell-o... well...

Last night, my brothers, dad, and I were innocently making Jell-o, when all of a sudden a bad storm started up. We didn't think anything of it and stuck the Jell-o in the fridge anyway, but after about 15 minutes we lost power. It was... 7:30.

Turns out only a small section on our side of the street lost power. DDDD: We had to go without it for 4 hours. Although the electricity lasted long enough for the rest of my family to finish cooking the first of the chicken wings, I was going to make ravioli (since I don't like spicy food) but couldn't since we have an electric stove now. *cries*

So we ordered pizza.

By 9:00 it was complete darkness, so everyone camped out downstairs in the basement, since the AC wasn't working.

The power came back on while I was sleeping... I woke up at 11:00 because I was cold, and went back to my bed.

I ate Jell-o for breakfast.

Anyway, this year for his birthday, I bought one of those online adapter thingies for the PS2 for my brother. For some reason it didn't come with a Network Adaptor Disc (NAD???), so it won't connect...

Anybody know a PS2 game that has the setup utility built into the game? (As in, one that sets up online play WITHOUT the NAD?) I want it to work for him. His birthday was in March. DDDD:

He says Metal Gear Solid 3 (?) has this ability but we don't own it, so we would like to know a list of some games before we go to Blockbuster.

I've been getting plenty of offers to play online with people too, so once that's established I can play DDR with you guys.

When I went to the commissary to buy groceries the other day, I went to the computer stuff at the back of the store and saw...

...lol. MangaStudio Debut. Haha.

I didn't buy it since I'm only $20 away from getting EX, but I laughed a little.

And yesterday in the shower, I saw this big blob on the wall. I couldn't really tell what it was since I didn't have my glasses on, so I got closer and it... it fluttered away!!! Kyaaa! XO It was a moth! I ran around in my confined space, but it ended up flying into the path of the water and got plastered to the bottom of the bathtub.

Later I told my dad about it, but he shrugged and said, "Get it out yourself."

Since I didn't, I wonder if it's still there???

First of all, Utada draws anime fanart of 'The Rose of Versailles'!???!? (a really old show) She's actually really good... See it here: [link] By the way, Oscar/Antoinette (whatever) is saying 'Boku wa kuma... it's a nice song.' Apparently, Hikki likes to draw. Go to some of her past entries and you'll find a lot of Kuma Chang art.

Secondly, is anybody else really excited about S.K.I.N.??? OMG. It is the collection of J-Rock gods. Gackt, Miyavi, Sugizo (X Japan), and Yoshiki (Luna Sea)... ahhh... it's so blindingly bright... I can't look at them directly...

Speaking of Miyavi, he called Gackt 'Gakunii' in his online diary. Isn't that so cuuuute??? (But he called the others Yoshiki-san and Sugizo-san... haha. )

I also saw pictures of Gackt filming his new movie role. He looks like a princess with that long hair of his lmao.

But I actually had homework this weekend, so I dunno what to do. I've been sleeping the whole time, and I've barely eaten. (Yesterday's food breakdown: breakfast-- half a carton of strawberries, lunch-- a small bowl of chicken noodle soup and a chicken salad sandwich, dinner-- the rest of the strawberries and a bowl of rice.) I can't concentrate long enough to do work.

I think it's an book essay and a poem for English and an outline for World Studies. *cries* Being sick is NOT an excuse for not doing homework, so it needs to be done... I don't even think I brought my folder home... (It has all my homework written in it.)

At least I get to play video games all I want. *coughDDRcough* And my dad just left to get groceries. I was allowed to get whatever I want.

But I didn't say anything. I should've told him to get me some gummi worms. (lol)

At least they did a good job animating it this time. I want to see Karin and Kazune switch transformations already. XDDDDD My only complaint was that it started off with the sequel. How odd.

Yesterday night I was answering some of my messages; I got booted off. So today I'm gonna try and get to all my comments and whatnot first.

I do have plenty of pictures but didn't as much free time as I planned, so most of my pictures were drawn during the car ride. Hey, guess what? I WAS WRONG. The car ride was more like 10 hours, and on the way back the weather sucked so it was 15. DDDDDD: Anyway, I'll post those later...

For about a week starting THIS SATURDAY I'll be gone on spring break to visit my grandparents. ^^

I have about a 8 or 9 hour drive, so I'll have plenty of time to doodle... or sleep. I have my Mogu to snuggle with of course, but I'll also be in the backseat of the car with my brothers... so... >3<
