This year my vacations started a bit later.. since I had to do two exams... but since they've started.. I haven't stoped at all... been to Albufeira with 5 friends.. girls party! Then.. been to Festival do Sudoeste with .. OH MY... loved it! And tomorrow I'm going to Lagos with my sister Then... I'll spend some time with my parents and for now... I know I'm going to the Ericeira Surf Festival in the begining of September... it will be great

And... till October... I'll have to do something... just don't know what.. lol

I'm on vacation again...

I have to say that my trip to Brazil... was the BLAST! I'll post some photos from now on... some... cof cof Till now it was the best trip of my life... because it was with lots os friends... and we had a wonderful program.. loved it!

I have received lots of interesting ideas for a new avatar and ID... NOT .. well... nevermind

I've been away from DA a bit.. I guess there's not so much feedback like it used to be ... or maybe it's just me..

Anyway.. I'm trying to choose 3 pictures for a contest on my university.. the theme is about the changes that happen in our life.. feel free to give me some ideas.. or even if you see some interesting pic on my gallery.. tell me..

Time really runs fast, doesn't it? 'Yesterday' I was at Vigo... now I've returned... wow ... The best part of my life so far has just passed in front of my eyes... Oh well! Move on Silvia... Move On.... Things didn't went as expected.. but.. it could be worst, so... I think I'll just have to be a little bit less demanding on myself.

On Tuesday I'm going to Brasil Oh my.. on my! The only thing that is not pleasing me is that... I'm not going to take my camera It seems that there's a large % that it would be stolen.. lol... so... I'll have to take another one... hec But it will be a wonderfull week.. I can't hardly wait!


Well.. I'm trying to change my avatar and ID... but it seems that I'm a bit null of ideas.. Can you help me... somehow...

Today I woke up.. and checked my email box.. and I had received an email from a friend, who is a defensor of the animals rights... and she made reference to this [link] It caught my attencion because I realized that is was about Pitbulls.. and I actually have one.
I really think you should take a look at that work... because I think that it is really fantastic

I'll comment a little bit of this... because... I think that lots of people consider pitbull agressive dogs.. that makes me soooo angry!
I had my dog since he had one month... and I have been following his growth.. now he is a year old. He's the the cutest dog ever..
When everybody saw him when he was little.. they all say 'awww... so sweet!', and the question was always 'Which breed is he?' ... and when I said.. 'PITBULL', their general faces was like this

'Are you crazy???', 'Thay are so mean to people', 'they are killer dogs', BLA BLA BLA...

But I really can't blame them... everytime we hear about pitbulls on tv.. newspapers... etc... It's because... a pitbull got loose and attacked someone... or bacause of the ilegal fights between pitbulls... all about the agressive dog!

But the issue here is.... It's not their fault
My dog has been trained since he was young... and he respects a lot his owners and his place... he's an obedient dog.. why? Because he was taught to be like that!
Some people cut the dogs ears.. and give them some vitamins in order to appear more agressive... like.. wtf... I really don't understand... how stupid people can be...
Some guys allready asked if we wanted to put a dog on a fight.. in order to earn some money.. or should I say.. easy money?

I really like the film that was made... and I think everyone should see it.. it's quite realistic... and...

The dog will be just like his owner.. it's up to us... to give them a proper life... think about it.

Well... I'm on vacations now.. till the 10th of January
Things are going on prety well at Vigo... but the worst part is getting closer
I'm expecting to know the result of my Espanish Exam.. it went well... I'm expecting something not too bad.. hehe

I'm seeing my Erasmus experience geting over very fast .. but I can surely say that it was one of the greatest experiences I ever had

At the beggining of this month I had the Gala of my School year... here in Portugal... It was a pleasant night, since I had the opportunity to see my friends... missed them a lot! And to earn some money to our trip to Brasil


Well... I must rush to decorate my house... full of the X-mas Spirit... since no-one else does.... hec...

I actually like to live here... it's a different city.. a different country... different culture... and a hell of a new experience!

On Monday I'm going to have a meeting with all the erasmus students who have been accepted at the Vigo University... I've already seen Germany chics, sweedish... english... even an American! I think this meeting will be great.. I'll meet a hole bunch of new people!

I actually left Portugal with a lot of problems on my head... specialy my dog.. that just the day before I left I discovered that he had 4 major wounds on his neck... Oh.. he scared the hell out of me.. I spend all afternoon and night on the vet.. The wounds were so deep... but he's a lucky fella (Actually.. his name is 'Lucky'.. ) And after a week.. he's recovering very well.. even the vet is surprised by that! Hope that my sweet thing recovers 100% very soon..

*sigh*

I'm not having time to post anything... I don't have much time to dedicate to the DA or to manipulate photos.. or even to take more pictures.. hec.. But I've heard somebody is going to give a camera on my Bday Great sis I have..

Anyway... I have to thank you all who came and visit my humble gallery... and for all your comments

Well... I'm on vacations since the 8th of July... but just in August they have been wonderfull!
I went to a festival... the Sudoeste Festival, in Zambujeira do Mar (Alentejo - Portugal)... and it was great!
I had the opportunity to work there... or at least help... and it was quite interesting.. because I had the chance to met lots of people...
Then... after the festival, me and ~ Nuite went to my place in Lagos - Algarve... and we had a very good time.. we actually saw people from Setubal (where we live)... that we didn't see for a long time... like... wow.. lol

Just a note.... the Algarve is getting quite expensive... no wonder all the complaining... a simple coffee.... 1€ !!! Thank god I don't like coffee.... hehe

I'm almost leaving Portugal... it's on September... and I still have an exame to do on the 10th... but it was a choice of my own... I hope everything turns out okay.

Just to finish... I created a new community... It's still on th begining.. I hope I can get some pictures of my hometown... to post there... and you can always help me

Well.. I went to Vigo on Friday, with the intent of knowing my two schools (Yes... I can't do all my subjects just in one school.... can't understand what kind of Erasmus Programme is that... ), the Escola Universitaria de Estudios Empresariais and Faculdade de Ciencias Economicas e Empresariais. I went to see the two schools... check the timetable, and actually saw irregularities! I had classes at the same time... oh well... had to call to my scholl in Portugal to tell that to the professor in charge. I think things are moving on now...

My other problem.... where will I live??
I went to see some apartments... but.. the best one (near the main school, supermarket, pharmacy... bus!) it will only be rented... to 4 students, and we are two! The owner of the apartment has my phone number and will contact me in case two more students show up.... oh please..!!! I hope they appear quickly

Yesterday, I almost went to the beach... glad I didn't go... because.. I would propably be part of the evacuation that happened in the afternoon! Yes... Arrabida is being consumed by the flames once again! This... paradise is going to be another dark.. burned paradise.. Hope this hell ends up fast... it's too hot!

I think it's about time to post a journal.. It's my first oneee... I'm an inexperient girl...
Oh well... I said to myself "I will wait for my vacations to spend more time to the DA"... but.. I just couldn't help myself... hehe I'm in the middle of my tests... it's all about I have to pass them all... I think I can make it... because that means: No exames and that... I'll have more time to Pleeeeease.. wish me luck!
Yesterday I received a wonderful news... I was accepted in Vigo University in Spain.. for a whole semester! It's in the Erasmus Programme, where students have the opportunity to do some subjects of their course in foreign countries. Oh well.. I would really love to go to England or Italy, but unfortunately my school doesn't have those countries as an option. Oh... what the heck... Spain here I come!!!

I would like this opportunity to thank all my watchers for all their comments and support

and to send a support message to our Portuguese team... "Go Portugal Go!
