So it's that time of year again: finals. I've only got three this time around- well, actually four, but one of them was a take-home I finished last week and honestly I just want to forget about that one, so stupid... But yeah, today I had my first written final, in my favorite class, and damned if I didn't nail the sucker. Not only that but when I was done I got the assignment back for the final project for the class, which was a production we put on that I acted in, and it was a totally glowing review. Her only critique of my performance was at times I was too quiet, but honestly I don't have that much acting experience, I know that, and I haven't ever had a voice class either so I don't have that experience under my belt, and to tell the truth yes, at times in the production I knew I said a line too quietly but, what the hell was I supposed to do, repeat it? That'd just be odd.

But seriously, SO happy right now... aaaand exhausted. Stayed up too late last night studying. So, I crash now, study for my last two finals tomorrow when I wake up.
Haven't done one in over a year, felt the need to. -shrugs-
EDIT: Decided I'd be nice now that it's been ten days, and post all the movies up. Take a look if you were curious! n_n

Rules:
1. Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
2. Go to IMDB or some other quote site and find a quote from each movie (or put your favorite, if they aren't there).
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put the movie beside it.
5. NO GOOGLING/using IMDb search/other search functions/looking at my Myspace or whatever to see what my favorite movies are.
(I mean come on, this is just for fun, let's keep it that way, shall we?)

1. Ah, Fenwick... why is the power off?
... Perhaps we blew a fuse, sir?
WELL GO FIX IT!
(I love James Woods xP) - Recess: School's Out

2. If you like falling, then gymnastics is the sport for you. You get to fall on your face, your ass, your back, your knees, AND your pride. Good thing I didn't like falling- I loved it! - Stick It

3. Value this time in your life kids, because this is the time in your life when you still have your choices, and it goes by so quickly. When you're a teenager you think you can do anything, and you do. Your twenties are a blur. Your thirties, you raise your family, you make a little money and you think to yourself, "What happened to my twenties?" Your forties, you grow a little pot belly you grow another chin. The music starts to get too loud and one of your old girlfriends from high school becomes a grandmother. Your fifties you have a minor surgery. You'll call it a procedure, but it's a surgery. Your sixties you have a major surgery, the music is still loud but it doesn't matter because you can't hear it anyway. Seventies, you and the wife retire to Fort Lauderdale, you start eating dinner at two, lunch around ten, breakfast the night before. And you spend most of your time wandering around malls looking for the ultimate in soft yogurt and muttering "how come the kids don't call?" By your eighties, you've had a major stroke, and you end up babbling to some Jamaican nurse who your wife can't stand but who you call mama. Don't know what I have, but I think it's just your everyday run-of-the-mill cold, which unfortunately still sucks. To make it worse I had to get an H1N1 shot yesterday, and unlike the normal influenza ones I have to get, this one's a doozy; woke up at four in the morning because I rolled onto the arm I got it in, it was that painful. So yeah, not doing so well. Thank goodness I don't have any homework lately, I think I'd die if I did. DAMMIT! I was so pissed off, seriously, it totally ruined the rest of the day, which sucks, because Halloween's my favorite holiday like EVAR. So instead I handed it in today first thing, and boy am I glad to be rid of the stupid thing.

And check it, reading a new Shakespeare play now.
So yes, I watched the movie Ponyo last night. Unfortunately, the only version I could find was not in English (not even subtitled), so while I didn't know exactly what was being said (I read a summary online, that somewhat helped), I was still amazed at... well, how freaking awesome this movie is.

I only wanted to watch it at first because I thought the style was really very cute- oceanic, soft palettes, that kind of thing. As per usual I fell for the 'bad guy' of the film (Fujimoto, though the fact that he's the antagonist can be argued somewhat), just because he's so quirky. Again, I didn't have a clue what the hell he was even saying, but the way he moved/his facial expressions just... ugh, so good.

Apparently there's an English dub where Fujimoto's voiced by Liam Neeson (ie. GOD), but while the advertising said it came out in August of this year, I can't even find the damn thing on Amazon.com, which like... always has everything. It does have a copy of the one with the English subtitles, if I get too twitchy I'm just gonna get that... but seriously... NEESON... I want it. T.T

So yeah, if you haven't seen Ponyo yet, DO IT. DO IT NOW. It's so good, right up there with Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, in my humble opinion. n_n

... On a sadder note, I hate stupid amounts of homework. Srsly.

So apparently I haven't updated in like... a VERY long time. I suppose I should apologize for that, since I am a little sorry for it, but the truth of the matter is I've just been so busy as of late, especially with school starting back up and my classes trying to kill me with homework. Though they have yet to succeed, I still have to be on my guard.

On another note, no, I don't actually have anything new to update with. It's my own fault really, since I worked myself into a dead-end in both my Narnia fics; if you feel horrible about that, SEND ME AN IDEA OF HOW TO CONTINUE. Hell, it doesn't even have to be good and it still might inspire me or summat. I don't really want After the War to end, but seriously I've got nothing; my head's full of Merchant of Venice (GOD DAMMIT).

In conclusion, if I ever think of something extracurricular to write, I'll stick it up. Even if it isn't that impressive, I'll still do it. Until then, I got nothing.

10 Random Facts About Me

I've seen lots of people do it in their journals, and figured, why not? Basically, ten random facts you probably don't know about me; feel free to steal this from me, should you like.

1. When I ascend/descend stairs, I count how many there are. It's a weird habit, I know, and I have no clue why I do it, I just... do. xP
2. I have a habit of finding the bad guy in the movies hot. Beats the hell out of me why, I just do. Then again, evil is rather sexy, maybe that's why...
3. I like to teach myself other languages. I've tried Russian, Romanian, Scottish Gaelic, even Latin, though I haven't done so in quite a while, so I can't really remember anything. u_u;
4. I can't stand silence for long periods of time. I purposefully take my time during tests so that I don't finish too early, because if I have to sit there with nothing to do I get uber-antsy.
5. I like to sing songs that are originally sung by males more then I do females, maybe because I find most songs by females to be rather stupid.
6. I'm really a huge romantic at heart, though I don't often show it.
7. I've got a caffeine addiction, no kidding. I can't go a day without having some caffeinated drink (not coffee though, I hate coffee), unless I've got absolutely nothing to do that day, and I mean nothing.
8. I love reading scary stories, but I can't do it when it's dark out and I'm alone. Scary movies, sure, no problem (I'm doing it right now, in fact xP), but not books; my imagination's so much more potent, really.
9. I think that the sexiest part of my body is my arms, tied with my legs. Everything else I could really care less about.
10. Ever since I was little I've had a small fear of the back of the basement, since I believed that the only monster in the house resided behind the furnace. So, to appease 'it', if I'm feeling particularly uncomfortable there, I'll sing quietly. Sing what? Whatever's in my head, really.

And that's that! n_n

Or, they hurt so much that I'm crying in pain, anyway.

But omg, the bag of swag was an actual bag of swag! Totally made my day. n_n

Because, frankly, it's been a while since I updated, and I haven't had anything to really update with (aside from going to see a Cirque du Soleil show, which was plainly amazing), so... another movie game! x3

Alright, here's the rules:
1. Pick 10 (too tired to do 15) of your favorite movies.
2. Find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put the movie beside it.
5. NO GOOGLING/using IMDb search/other search functions.

1. Isn't it odd, that the one thing he wants more than anything in the world is a dragon, and a stranger comes along who just happens to have one? I mean honestly, who walks around with dragon eggs in their pockets? Why didn't I see it before?!

2. Ah, just in time for a new century. You'll soon find your bearings, young Masbeth. The Bronx is up, the Battery is down, and home is this way.

3. In ancient times, the land lay covered in forests, where, from ages long past, dwelt the spirits of the gods. Back then, man and beast lived in harmony, but as time went by, most of the great forests were destroyed. Those that remained were guarded by gigantic beasts who owed their allegiances to the Great Forest Spirit, for those were the days of gods and of demons.

4. I couldn't help it. It just popped in there.
-angrily- What? What just "popped in there"?
I... I... I tried to think...
Look!
No! It can't be!
What is it?
It can't be!
What did you do, Ray?
Oh, shit!
-somberly- It's the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

5. I'm charged with guarding the portal to another world, and you're asking me to just let you through!
Yes. Because, let's be honest, it's a field. Look, do you see another world out there? No, you see a field. Do you see anything non human? No. And you know why? Because it's a field!
Hundreds of years this wall has been here. Hundreds of years has been kept by a twenty-four-hour guard.
Well-
One more word, and I'll have you up in front of the village council!
Well that's... that's irrefutable... Better just go home then...

6. Outside, he was a giant. In here, only the mind can grant you power.
You enjoy the reversal?
I respect the mind's power over the body. It's why I do what I do...

7. Why me, Gabriel? It's personal, isn't it? I didn't go to church enough, I didn't pray enough, I... I was five bucks short in the collection plate. Why?
You're going to die young because... you smoked 30 cigarettes a day since you were 15... and you're going to go to hell because of the life you took. -pause, leans in- You're fucked.

8. This dude got dogs. I don't do dogs... I had a real bad experience, man.
What happened?
I had. A bad. Experience.

9. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
I don't know. Were you thinking, "Holy shit, holy shit, a sword fish almost went through my head"? If so, then yes.

10. I don't care if it gets messy.
I'll drive you. We'll get him leaving his barber.
And I'll inject him.
And I'll find a spot to get rid of the body.
All valid ideas. Great initiative. But...

Alright, here's the rules:

Alright, here we go!

1. Say it again.
I'm sorry.
No... the part where you said my name.
(-Is such a romantic-)

2. I've just had an apostrophe.
-sighs- I think you mean an epiphany.
No... lightning has just struck my brain.
-sarcastically- Well, that must hurt.

3. I now command you! Give me your name, demon!
Names! *Names! One, two, three, four, five, sssix!
Ancient serpents, depart from this servant of God! Tell me your six names!
We are the ones who dwell within. -in Hebrew- I am the one who dwelt within CAIN! -in Latin- I am the one who dwelt within NERO! -in Greek- I once dwelt within JUDAS! -in German Language- I was with the Legion! -in Assyrian Neo-Aramaic language- I am Belial! -in possessed/English- And I am Lucifer, the devil in the flesh...

4. I am an immortal sir, not a gazelle! How in heaven do we outrun this thing?

5. This is a three billion dollar class action lawsuit. In the morning, I have to call my board. I have to tell them that the architect of our defense was arrested for running naked in the street. What sickness is he talking about?
I don't know. It could be a number of things.
Well, give me one.
Frostbite.
-shocked- You think this is funny!

6. Ninjas! -runs- Why did it have to be ninjas?!

7. You see, none of us chose our end really. A king may move a man, a father may claim a son. But remember that, even when those who move you be kings or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God you cannot say "but I was told by others to do thus" or that "virtue was not convenient at the time". This will not suffice. Remember that.

8. My name is Ofelia. Who are you?
Me? I've had so many names. Old names that only the wind and the trees can pronounce. I am the mountain, the forest and the earth. I am... I am a faun. Your most humble servant... -bows- ...Your Highness.

9. Ow! It bit me!
What'd you expect fairies to do?
I thought they did nice things, like... like granting wishes.
Shows what you know, don't it?

10. Word is that kid of yours is a chip off the old block.
Well, one does what one can.
He's in the other room.
-smiles wickedly- Boys will be boys.
With Gabriel.
-flinches and looks disgusted- No accounting for taste, really.
(Man, I love this movie. n_n )

11. Tell me, are your sisters deaf?
-confused- No.
And your brother, is he... unintelligent?
-smiles- Well, I've always thought so, but Mum says-
-rising- Then how dare you come alone!

12. No, no! "Rare" implies dangerously cooked. When I say rare I mean just let it look at the oven in terror, then bring it out to me.

13. You can do it Ozzy! Bite 'is freakin' head off!

14. You know what you get for being a hero? Nothin'. You get shot at. You get a little pat on the back, blah blah blah, attaboy. You get divorced. Your wife can't remember your last name. Your kids don't want to talk to you. You get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me, kid, nobody wants to be that guy.

15. It could be carried by an African swallow!
Oh an African swallow maybe, but not a European swallow is my point.
Oh yeah, I'll drink to that.

Ta-da. n_n

Sooo, this is a little late, considering I went to see the second installment of the Narnia series (the movie series, anyway; man, the look on my face when I explained to my mom that Prince Caspian was the third book, not the second, in the series, was damn priceless... something like this 'O.o' ) with a friend on Saturday, but meh. Anyway, I went to see Prince Caspian with Kirstyn on Saturday, and afterwards... well, I was in a state of shock to really say anything about it.

It was AMAZING.

First off, let me say I already had extremely high hopes for Caspian, seeing as how A) I absolutely loved the LWW, B) I saw that they were throwing another scene with Jadis/Tilda Swinton into it (OMG I love that actress, no doubt), and C) Ben Barnes (Caspian) looked like a total stud muffin. Even with all that in mind, I found myself completely blown away with it. Now, I haven't read the Chronicles since grade... 7, I think (and that was The Silver Chair and The Last Battle, as I remember), so I couldn't for the life of me remember what the hell the plot really was for Caspian, but all the same, I thought it was brilliant, utterly brilliant.

It was the late show, so I didn't end up getting home till shortly after midnight- my parents are so awesome, they didn't care at all- so first thing in the morning me mam asked me what I thought of it, and I replied "I'm totally ready to go see it again with you- even if it's tonight". Yeah, that good.

So, if you haven't go see it, you seriously should. Right now. n_n

Yeah, so, two days ago I got my license, and forgot to update my journal about it. n_n; Yup, only four points off, which was amazing, considering the first time was 36, and the second 42. But I went really slow, stopped like... two feet behind every stop sign, and made my shoulder checks so obvious I pulled something in my shoulder near the end; she even commented on how good they were. She was great, actually, really friendly; we even sung along to Aerosmith (pour some sugar on meh! xD) at one point. When we stopped she was just like "OK, you passed, here's your form, thanks for the awesome ride, that was the best one I've had in a long time" and I swear I was so giddy it was like someone had pumped me jam-full of sugar. I even got to drive to work yesterday! <33333
I find insanity to be an interesting topic all the same, however. Think about it: the looser the grip on reality you have, the tighter they strap you in... so true, that statement is.

Yup, first day back to school. Now, it started off rather dismally (I have my locker in the sped hallway, which isn't anywhere NEAR any of my classes. >.&gt, but the motivational speaker we always get for the first day was actually pretty hot, so listening to him for almost an hour wasn't all that hard. Unfortunately, the lunch they had did not include hot dogs (like they said), so I was forced to eat a hamburger for lunch (blech). Then came the afternoon, with shortened periods:

1st (Social Studies with McLaren) - Geeze, this guy's funny. And I know half the people in the class really closely (always a good thing); Troy's in this class, so that made me happy. <3

2nd (English with Howse) - Would have been awesome, except a certain Ratushniak is in it, being her usual, glowery, glary self. Ah well, she sits on the far side of the class, no biggie.

3rd (Biology with Lowe) - Never had Lowe before; he seems to be a pretty interesting guy. But he dropped a seating chart on us, and that's just uncool... but he did let us go early, so... meh. xP

4th (Theater Arts with Chammartin) - Well, other than the fact that I don't like any of the new kids in the class, I think this class has the potential to once more be my favorite. Whewt!

5th (IB Music with Houston) (Dropping) - Even though I'm dropping this class, Mr. H said I could drop in whenever I wanted, just to practice or watch us perform, so that'll be awesome. <3

And that's it, really... Update if I need to later.

Well, just went with to see the fifth movie installment of Harry Potter, and I have to say... I didn't like it at all. Some of the casting was downright horrible ([cough]Tonks[cough]), not to mention the fact that it differed so much from the book that it HURT. For the sake of not ranting on, I'll only talk about my top five peeves.

1. Capslock Malfoy, as he has been nicknamed, didn't have any capslocks to speak of. For those who have no clue what I'm talking about, it's the scene in the Department of Mysteries where Lucius is talking, mostly about how they have to retrieve the prophecy, and all that. Even in the book, there is three parts of dialog that are entirely in capitals, and what do we have in the film? 'Now, let's all just calm down, shall we...?'. W.T.F.

2. Severus' worst memory. Again, WTF. It was HORRIBLY done. There was no scene with Harry in Snape's Pensieve, there was hardly ANYTHING in the past, in fact. And the camera angles/flashes were so horrible you hardly saw anyone anyways! I mean, Lily wasn't even in it, and James didn't look anything like Daniel!Harry, which was stupid to the extreme. 'You look just like your father did when he was your age' my ass!

3. The little appearance things. Dudley is blond, not brunette, an easy fix, just pick up some hair dye. For some strange reason, Harry no longer has his mother's green eyes. 'Your eyes Potter, they're just like your mother's, all blue and junk...' >.> Percy did NOT have his glasses. In every single section he's in, it describes his horn-rimmed glasses. And now he's got no glasses! And Voldemort! OOOOH, GIVE ME STRENGTH!! Why the hell does Voldemort have blue eyes? They're supposed to be red! I mean, they're already slightly CGIed, just change the damn color already! For some strange reason, Hermione's bushy hair has like... disappeared in the last three movies, which is just... bleh. And the centaurs; well, that's all I can say on them, since we barely saw them to begin with. They didn't even have any spoken lines!

4. The Veil. That part was just... messed up. From my memory, Bellatrix cursed him, and he fell back into it; but she didn't Avada his ass... WTF? Just for that, I'm getting my book, and am quoting what it was /supposed/ to look like: '... on which stood a stone archway that looked so ancient, cracked and crumbling that Harry was amazed the think was standing. Unsupported by any surrounding wall, the archway was hung with a tattered black curtain or veil which, despite the complete stillness of the cold surrounding air, was fluttering very slightly, as though it had just been touched.' Yeah... that just really peeved me.

5. The video in general. It was choppy, at most times you could barely see what was trying to be filmed, which I suppose was just the way the new director did it, but I still hate it anyways. Half the time the camera was either shaking, or tilted at such an angle you barely got a good shot anyways. Just horrible, that's the only word for it. Horrible.

As you can see, it didn't work for me. I totally left out other things that bothered me even more, like the fight scene between Voldemort and Dumbledore, among other things. Just... yeah, I'm done, not worth talking about anymore.

Well, it's my birthday tomorrow, and here's where the stats sit:

Good things
-It's a half day! WHEWT!
-Because people are going to Banff on the choir/band trip, we get to play with grade 6's instead of working in 5th period!
-My friends are AWESOME. They're throwing me a party at lunch, with cake and presents, though I asked for nothing! I lurv you guys! =3
-We're going to Teppanyaki for supper! YAY!
-We're going to Milky Way after Teppanyaki for ice cream! YAY!
-There's this really cool Asian clothing store across the street from Teppanyaki and Milky Way, and my mom's gonna take me shopping there later! YAY!
-Stacy's gonna pop in on my first period class to wish me happy birthday!
-We have homeroom in 2-4 periods apparently, so that's awesome. All I have for classes is thus: reading in Creative Writing, and playing sax with the grade 6's!

Bad Things
-Lots of my friends are going to Banff for the choir/band trip, and won't be back until late Sunday...
-I won't be able to do a skit for Drama that's been put off for two days already, and I really, REALLY want to do it.
-My grandma can't come to my birthday supper, which makes me really sad, 'cause I love her. D=

And you know what? I feel like playing another lyrics game... So that'll be up soon!

Well, it was that time again: One Acts! And this time, I was actually /in/ one! Anyways, the schedule went like so:

Thursday Afternoon
Cribbage With the Undead - Not bad, but a weak plot.
Coldly Sparkle in the Moonlight - Extremely good. Really creepy; it gave me inspiration for both a role play plot, and a short story. Unfortunately, the actual performance was disqualified due to an 'open flame' - The Candle Of Hope. Ironic, or what?

Thursday Evening
Laffin' School - I didn't get to see this one, because...
The End of Civilization as we Know it - I was in this one! Ah, so much fun.
Seth's Anxiety - I didn't get to stay around to see this, but Cass said it went well. Go Campbell!!

Friday Afternoon
Rest in Peace - Not bad, acting wasn't that great though.
This is a Test - Again, not bad, but the acting wasn't that great; it might have had to do with the kids performing were grades 6-8, and this was their first performance on an actual stage...

Friday Evening (Tonight!)
Power Play - Amazing. Really dramatic, really a gut-puncher.
Sex Lives of Superheroes - OUTSTANDING. Way to go, Ben and Kaila, for your on-stage kiss! xD You've done Campbell proud, you have. It sucks that Ben's graduating this year, though; he's such a good actor...

And Awards are tomorrow! I can't wait!

Well, I just got back from skiing in Kimberly- at 3:30 in the bloody morning! And the worst part is, I don't feel like sleeping at all, because I slept on the bus- which was a good ten hour drive.

But anyways, we had a REALLY, REALLY fun time. I even picked up a limited edition red nintendo DS, so I'm very happy about that. I also picked up the fourth Godchild and V for Vendetta at a Chapters in Lethbridge, where we stopped for supper on the way there and back.

Seriously though, my legs hurt. Not only did we ski, but if you went night skiing you had to haul ass up this huge hill to our condo- and that took at least twenty minutes every time. And it was steep. And there's four bruises on my one leg alone. o.O

But the company was great (Keri, her friend Caty, Johnny, Chris, and Crump), and the girls we roomed with were great (except when a couple of them decided to crank rap music in the condo one night. Blech...). I'm so totally doing it next year; I promised Mr. Adolph I would. xP

And hey, Mr. Muir was nice to me on the trip! xD

We watched a lot of movies too, on the bus alone. Let's see if I can make a list:

The Way There
The Italian Job ("There're three things I don't mess with: Mother Nature, Mother in Laws, and Mother Fuckin' Ukranians!" xD)
Tomorrow Never Dies (always a good one.)
X-Men 3 (which was so cool!)
Cars (meh, alright...)

The Way Back
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (So good, I love this movie.)
American Graffiti (I wasn't watching it, it looked boring. xP )
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (Finally, I figured out what that awesome song is called! xD)

That, and, whilst reading Phantom of the Opera, I've gone back to fangirling over that.

Even in the book, Raoul's still a fop, and Christine has no backbone whatsoever. And Erik's at least ten times more hideous- which makes him that much more appealing. xD

Well, I was very, very happy; it seems she's here for a visit for a week or so. But still, whoever would have thought I'd run into her at the airport? o.O

In other news (xD), Logan's now back in California, and my mother actually didn't cry. Amazing, eh? But the rest of the family were mad at me because I didn't hug him when he left. My excuse? When you hug someone when they leave, you get too attached to them. xD

(Okay, so I do like Saruman, but that's only because I like Christopher Lee, not the actual character.)

Well, I had a very good Christmas- that is, until this morning. I woke up at a quarter after 7 only to throw up a ton. And trust me, that sucked. It only happened once (as my mom termed it, one 'episode') but it was horrible; my throat burned after, and I couldn't walk back to my bedroom- my shoulder still hurts from slamming into the doorframe when I tried.

But the gifts were excellent! I'll make a quick list:

Movies

- Howl's Moving Castle (which I watched just a bit ago. Billy Crystal is awesome as the voice of Calcifer, and Christian Bale too is an excellent Howl!)

- Kingdom of Heaven (SEE IT if you haven't yet. It's got Orlando Bloom, Liam Neeson, Jeremy Irons, and David Thewlis [you'd know him as Remus Lupin], to name a few.)

- Desperado and Once Upon A Time in Mexico Box Set (GO SANDS GO! xD)

- Zoolander ("Water is the essence of wetness!" xD )

- Napoleon Dynamite ("So watcha gonna do today Napoleon?" "Whatever I want! GOSH!" xD )

Books

- Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie ( LURVS!)

- The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux ( It's being ordered for me from Amazon.com, so I don't have it yet... )

- $100 gift certificate to Reader's Comic Book Store (So I can buy V for Vendetta myself! xD)

Other

- A really sweet long black sweater-like coat. It's so beautiful!

- A fuzzy white sweater with beaded embroidery. So fancy!

- Gripper penguin socks!!

- A jingle bell pen

- $10

- A black lounging suit

And that's all I can think of right now. I'm so happy with all of my gifts!

Well, maybe some of you don't, so, here you go:

Remember, remember, the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason And Plot...
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot.

Guy Fawkes, t'was his intent
To blow up king and parliament.
Three score barrels were laid below
To prove old England's overthrow.

By God's mercy he was catched
With a dark lantern and lighted match.
Holler boys, holler boys, let the bells ring
Holler boys, holler boys, God save the King.

That's right, all V for Vendetta fans celebrate!

On another note, I just finished watching Howl's Moving Castle, and I must say I am in love with it. Howl's freaking hot, and he and Sophie make the perfect couple, I must say.

2nd (Chem) - Probably the only class that wasn't too bad. I actually got how to do the work before everyone else. So there!

3rd (English) - English was a little boring today; it was just reading. And I still have to do that paragraph, so that's getting me down.

Lunch (Choir) - Choir was actually really fun. I was thinking of taking it out to study for 5th, but I didn't, and I'm glad; I got to solo again today. As for the set soloists for concerts and stuff, I'm not exactly head. You see, there were six people who tried out, and three parts, so there's one set and another as back-up. I'm one of the back-up ones, though.

4th (Psychology) - Watched a video. Pretty boring.

5th (Math) - HELL ON WHEELS. We had a massive chapter 3 test today, and, since the normal teacher wasn't there, we were in Mr. Prakhya's (my Chem. teacher's) room. That wasn't bad; he actually made the test a bit better. And it was extremely hard; no one got it. He even gave me part of a coconut cookie, which was really good.

Unfortunately, I found out in this period from Riley that Mr. Pritchard, my AWESOME English teacher, is no longer at Campbell after October. Apparently, he got this once-in-a-lifetime teaching gig from the RCMP, and is off to do that. I cornered him after class to talk to him about it; he sounded really excited about doing it, so I could only be happy for him.

In truths, I'm pissed. I LOVED him as a teacher, and then he off and goes to work for the RCMP?! NOT FAIR!!! T.T I needed a pick-me-up after that, so I went to Reader's and got The Cain Saga #1 (the prequel to Godchild. SO GOOD!!!) as well as Meru Puri #3. That made it at least a bit more tolerable, I guess...

As for the title? Well, I found out a while ago that Mr. Pritchard's first name is Doug, so I had to bug him a little about that. So now I call him Dougie; this was what he said to me before we went off...

I mentioned the crazy dream I was discussing with my friend Alyssa this morning, so I stole the MSN history for it:

K (me) :Right, let's see what I've got so far...Okay first of all, it's set in medieval times (well in my dream it KINDA was; there was this one section with a light bulb installation, but I'll get to that later)...

A (her) :cool

(You can tell she was tired because he wasn't using punctuation or capitals. xD)

K :What else...ah yes. You see, it all started with this really evil queen, who for some reason didn't want anyone but her family to have the throne, and thus was forcing (literally /forcing/, there were guards holding him back as she did the ceremony) her son to be king.

A :wo

K :Yeah...he didn't look happy at all.

Anyways...When I have a dream, I always have the coolest role (in my opinion), and then shift in and out of it, so I both saw and was this next character...

A :same here... most the time anyways

K :Anyways, where was I? Ah yes, the character...Well, he was a man dressed in black robes (who for some reason didn't have his face covered, I'll be changing that most likely in the story), who was carrying these two rapiers on these loops at his hip. And all of a sudden he just appeared out of nowhere up in the front, where no one could have got to since the cerimony was private.

A :hmm very intersesting... i cant wait to hear the rest

K :So at this point I saw the outfit the stranger was wearing, and then saw the swords from his point of view. Anyways, he was up by the royals, who had both stopped to look at him(me. xD). I looked towards the prince, and said something along the lines of: "Do you feel chained by your blood, princeling?" (Who the hell says 'princeling' anymore? That's how I knew it /had/ to be medieval! xD)

A rinceling.. hehe

K :And of course he was still fighting the guards holding him back, so he nodded and said yes (duh). So I took out the swords, keeping one in my hand as I held the tip of the other. It was sharp, since there was a cut on my hand after. Anyways, I took the sword and launched it into one of the guards (who had stepped away from the prince and taken their own swords out when I did mine).

It was at this time that I had to leave for school, and I explained the rest of the story there later. What I found funny was how I managed to throw a rapier like a dagger. That's like... impossible. xD Go dreaming!!!

So, continuing on...

So the guard with the sword in him fell backwards, causing the rapier in his chest to brush its hilt against the prince's now free hand. So the prince grabbed the sword, and cut off the other guard's head. The queen was all like 'WTF?!?!?! Who are joo?!?!' and I wasn't too sure what the prince was like... probably something the long the lines of 'mmm, gore.' Anyways...

It was at this time that I'm going 'oh shiz, I hope I can do that again, or else I'm SCREWED, since there's about thirty other guards in the room. >.> Not good... I notice a door nearby into a room behind the thrones, and so I slash at some people and manage to get there. There were two guards there, as well as this one guy standing on a metal ladder, installing a light fixture into the ceiling (which is what confused me. Well, I didn't think much of it in the dream, because I had a feeling he was my partner or something). Anyways, the one guard goes over and closes the doors; they were like titanium or something, cause they closed with that sizzling sound, so I knew I wasn't getting out /that/ way. So, I'm standing there with my rapier, waiting for them to attack, since I can't very well do the dagger trick on the one guy, because I won't have enough time to grab it again to get the other before he slices me in two. So I wait, and what do they pull out?

Samurai swords. But that's not all. They're /bent/. And I don't mean like scimitar bent, I mean like someone took samurai swords and bent the blade in half (when I was telling this to Kate-sters, she called it a really funny name, which I can't remember now... I think it was sword-arangs? I'll have to check on that...). Anyways, they start throwing them at me- AND I START CUTTING THEM OUT OF THE AIR. How cool is that?! I mean, they're throwing them like they're seriously wooden boomarangs, and I'm hitting them down to a pile in front of me. So that was pretty cool. After they run out I go over and chop one guy's head off, and put my hilt into the gut of another guy, so I think he's knocked out. I then go over to the guy on the ladder, and I notice that the ceiling's r...

Usually I can't complain much, but this morning I woke up sick as a dog, being ill in the toilet and unable to eat, and not being able to stand and having a ginormous headache. Y'see, if your blood sugars are higher than normal for a long period of time, such as when you sleep as mine were last night, your body sends out keytones in order to try to get it down. However, keytones have to act with insulin...which I kinda forgot. So I had a ton of keytones in my body. I'm sure a lot of your are kinda confused as to how that got me so ill...well, keytones are basically acid. So I had a body full of acid, and the only way to get them out is to flush them out by drinking lots of fluids, and I was having an issue keeping down WATER it was so bad. >.> At least I'm better now...

Today I decided to bike over to the library to pick up some summer reading books (I think I got about 30, I'm not sure...), and I noticed the time was 3:15, and my elementary school classes end at 3:30, so I decided to pop in after going to the library.

Well, if you want to feel really tall, go to your elementary school. xP I was thirsty and wanted to get a drink, but the fountain only came up to my knee! xD

I talked with three of the teachers, since there are only 5 I know there now. The one was Ms. Wood, who happened to be my grade 7 teacher. She was fun to talk with, but not as fun as Mrs. Pickard, who I stopped in to see later. Y'see, now the teachers at that school will know why the grade eights, when sitting in an assembly, always sit with their backs up against the wall. To quote myself:

"Ah yes, assemblies. The one time where you lifted the back of your pants more than twice every thirty seconds. Y'see, when you wanted to wear a skirt, you had to make sure there wasn't an assembly that day. /That's/ why all the grade eights sit with their backs against the wall: so they don't /have/ to worry about people seeing down their backsides."

It was hilarious. And, apparently, some girls are wearing really inappropriate clothing, ie. ones that show way too much stomach. Here's me going 'oh, wait until they reach high school. They'll get the living snot beat out of them.' xD

And last but not least, I ran into Mrs. L. Britain in the hallway, and we had a nice talk about me possibly getting a class pin (stupid people, PHONE ALREADY!! T.T You only have two days left! T.T;; )

And that's my story. Off to read!

It was a really, really fun time, and even though we forgot some stuff (names of composers, lyrics at one point) we were really supportive, like a huge family.
Tonight was also the night for firsts. First Vocal Jazz Concert, first time performing Jazz (other than Disney jazz last year).... and first cat-call. Yes, that's right. I got cat-called. Weird, oddball little me. My parents had dropped me off at the school early for the performance, and I was wearing the devil-in-disguise shoes that kept slipping off. I was utterly shocked. Looking towards the street, I saw this guy hanging out of his van (he was driving a Western Pizza delivery van) looking at me. My mother was talking about the conjested roads on the main highway we took to school this morning, and, when my father cut her off and she explained that wasn't the main story, my brother then asks "Who's the protagonist?"

She replies with, "Protagonist? There was no protagonist! There wasn't a chemical reaction!"

We burst out laughing, and after a while my brother asks again, "Who's the antagonist?"

And she replies, "There was no Aunt Agnus on the road!"

Well, that just about did me in. After explaining what they were, what does she reply with? "I was never good at English. The only final I ever wrote was in Home Ec., and those two were my lowest classes."

I luff joo, mother. xD

My friends also bought me presents, even though I didn't ask for anything. I received a lot of manga, as well as some money. So, thanks to all who did that, that was sweet.

I'm beginning to think that my diabetes has given me a weak immune system...time to go read up on it again. Welp, there's been this really bad stomach bug going around, complete with headache, fever, and diarhea (I don't know how to spell it, sue me.). And guess what? Yup, I caught it. I didn't feel all too good in first period on Monday, and then Second was simply hell. So, I asked my teacher if I could be excused since I didn't feel that well, and she said I didn't look well, and allowed me to leave. So, for the rest of Monday, all of Tuesday and today (Wednesday), I've been sick as a dog. I've been pretty much bedridden, since standing up either makes me A) Puke, B)Fall over because the room's spinning too much, or C)Grip my head and make for the closest spot to lay down. I haven't got any of the homework I got on Monday done, and I doubt that I will be able to. I still feel really sick, but I'm gonna pull myself together and drag my sorry ass into school tomorrow, or I'm going to have WAY too much homework. Even now as I type this, my head's spinning. Time for more drugs...

Anyways, just saying that I'm sorry I haven't replied/talked/submitted anything for a while. As you can tell, I haven't been up to sitting at a computer for quite some time. But moving off of that, I've got some good news about writing stuff coming your way!

- I finished the second part of Tainted Tears! [Cheers] I'm just going to do the ol' edit and put into computer, and then it's gonna be up.

- I had a dream based on Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code by Mr. Colfer, and I had a great inspiration for a fan-fic about it. And no, I warn you now: There is no romance in it. Boo-hoo. Friendship, maybe. But that's about it. >.> It's more of an action story, just so you know. But I'm totally excited about writing it.

- At the last Creative Writing Club we planned who is presenting when, and I get to present on my birthday! Isn't that awesome!

-Speaking of which.... My birthday's in 27 days! Sweet!

And that's what's happening in my little world. It seems my stomach's awake right now, and is threatening dropping my measly supper of chicken soup all over the keyboard. So....Ciao!

Another AWESOME day on account of choir. Today was our Choralfest, where six different songs got together to sing, and perform in front of fellow singers. I happened to be in Senior Concert Choir, so we were there. After singing three songs all together, each choir sung their own song. We got to go last, with our song 'Roll, Jordan, Roll'. We were so good! Not only that, but I was right in the middle, in the very front row. SO COOL!!
Then there was the bus ride home. That. Was. Fun. One of the choirs sung Seasons of Love from Rent, and so, since Mrs. Williams (Our choir teacher), and our two male interns Mr.Nelson and Mr.Prue were on the bus, we sang all the way back. Our choice included Seasons of Love, followed by Run, Children, Run, one of the three pieces we did with everyone, and ended with Take a Chance on Me (Yes, by Abba!) We totally belted it, and it was SO much fun!!!

Luckily, Mrs. Williams says that we are 'so definately' doing it again next year.
Current Feeling: Slow the day down ma, I don't want to get off!

So I've had another awesome-tastic day. It first began with Science, which was rather fun. Lots of picking on the stupid kids, and references to 'manure' in Monty Python. (Here's a hint: "How do you know he's a king?"
"Simple. He hasn't got shit all over him."

Or "Oh look at this Dennis there's some lovely filth down here!" xD)

Onto English in second period! That was spent silent reading The Thief Lord, which is actually coming out on DVD on the 14th! (And Rollo Weeks makes a SUPER SMEXY Scipio! ) Then, the rest was reading ghost stories, which is our next unit. Isn't that awesome? First mysteries, now ghost stories!

Not only that, but I got a whole bunch of pictures from The Thief Lord and stuck them up in my locker. xD

Third was supposed to be a Math test, but I got to miss it for an AWESOME clinic in third and lunch break. The clinician, whom we called Rich (His name was Richard) was insanely funny, and really inspiring.

Next was fourth period Design Studies. I finally got my model of the Veteranarian's office to work for me, so that's good!

Fifth period is supposed to be Vocal Jazz with Jenn Williams, our choir teacher, but since the grade 9 had their clinic with Rich in 5th, we got to do that! (I'm the section leader for the altos in the grade 9 choir, by the way). That was really fun, another dose of Rich!

After school, I had Creative Writing Club, and today was my day to present a story. So, I presented "There Was A Boy..." Part One, and everyone liked it, and even gave me a couple pointers for stuff to work on for the next part, as well as editing for part One. So that was pretty awesome!

After that I had my second driver's lesson, and I got to drive on both clover leafs, and the highway. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was! We finished with parallel parking, which is also fairly easy too.

Then I came back to the school, and hung out with a bunch of my friends, who included Mango, Scrawny Travis, Huero (Or however you spell his name, he's Chinese... >.> ), and one guy from Creative Writing whose name I always forget. He and Huero kept on fighting, and he was running up and along the walls, so that was fun to watch. So, finally my dad came, and I came home.

[Sighs] What a fun day!

Oh, and did I mention I wore such an awesome outfit today? Let's see: First, two arm bands, a yellow 'Livestrong' bracelet, and a 'No one throws a party like Saskatchewan!' bracelet, as well as a blue and green bracelet. My top was a white one I got from Mexico, and it has sequins on the bottom half, and then a section on the stomach were there's only a little strip of material and then the rest is a hole, as well as a little charm that's pink, green, and blue. I also wore one of my favorite skirts, a black one with lace at the bottom and strips of velvet up the top. My socks were super fuzzy stripped green, blue and yellow socks that came up to my knee. It worked well with the blue in my hair, I must admit.

First off, today was a Tuesday, and so I had choir in the auditorium. I was actually ten minutes late (I'm never late! n_n; ), and it turned out that we had this woman in especially to do some teaching. Well, I didn't know that, but it turned out I wasn't the only one. Also, when I was eating lunch, Mr. Shammy, the Drama teacher, came by to talk to my bud Kate-sters, since she's in the One Act Plays I missed auditioning for due to Driver's Ed. Turns out that this one girl is going to China, and won't have time to practice that much. So, he was shuffling some positions around, but he needed someone to play the Grim Reaper. At this point, he looked at me, since he knew the conditions of the auditions. I immediately said I'd be up for it, and so I got the part. Though he has no lines, he's in the play twice, and that's all I really needed. So, I had my vision test for Driver's, but turns out that since I forgot my ID, I would have to go down to the SGI office to get my learner's licence. Well, it was taking a long time, and I needed to go to the rehearsal for the play. So, I decided just to go to the office to get it done, and head off to the rehearsal. Once I had, after it was done, I went to talk to Mrs. Oleson, who was leading the group that day. Turns out that the China girl will be playing Grim-y, so I wasn't needed. Kinda depressing, since I was really looking forward to it. I then decided to drop into Creative Writing Club, which I haven't for quite a while due to Driver's Ed. Everyone missed me, so that cheered me up somewhat.

But you know what? I don't really care about the Plays that much. Why? Because Kate-sters and I are planning to produce a musical through the school! And, if we do, that'll totally make up for it!

I finally went with Kate-sters to see the movie version of Rent. That is a....freaking awesome movie. I knew it would be, but it still was better than my already awesome expectations. It is also the second movie that suceeded in making me cry (I'm not telling the other! xP ). Not to mention that we did Seasons of Love as a song in Grade nine choir, and they're doing it again this year. I tried the solo, and actually managed to hit the high high C. Not an easy note to hit, I'll say that. Not only that, but since I'm the tenor section leader, I got to do the male solo as well. =3 A very awesome song, with an awesome movie, from an awesome musical. Definately worth seeing, and I'm going to buy it as well. n_n

I also wanted to put in that I watched The Constant Gardener the night before; that movie is really depressing. It shows the horrible side of Africa. It makes you truly appreciate Canada, our home and native land. If you can handle hard stuff like that, I suggest you see it.
So, tonight was the first Christmas concert day, and I performed with my band (Songs: Steppes of Russia, Baladair, The First Noel). Anyways, last year (with a different conductor), everyone dressed up christmasy. Two trombones even wrapped their trombones and themselves in lights! Anyways, I decided to take my santa hat, to see if Mr. Houston (our conductor) would let me wear it. He said that I could, but only for the last song. Well, I wasn't settling for that, so when he was starting up, I went to the front and put the hat on his head. I told him he looked cute, and he replied, "I'm BEYOND cute." Everyone laughed, and we warmed up. However, he took it off, and so when we were moving from the practice room onto the stage, I took the hat off the desk were he had put it. When we were walking on, I said "You're going to wear it, you know." So, we play the first two songs, no problem. Then, when we're setting up for the last one, I stick the pompom over my music stand, and give him a 'do you want it?' face. He nods, and I chucked it over two rows of people at him. He then caught it, turned around, and proceeded to put it on. Everyone laughed, and then he adjusted the pompom so that it hung in the front.

So, long story short, he wore teh hat, and everyone loved him for it. Sammi (my friend) and I were going to hug him after for it, but we didn't get to see him. A well, I'll get him on Wednesday. =3

Wow, what an insanely crazy/ happy day. For starters, it's a half day, so only the morning is school time. Let's start with that, shall we?

First period (Computer Science)- We had a small quiz, but I totally aced its ass!
Second period (Math) - Another quiz, but, again, aced. Going good! n_n
Third period (Gym) - The trainers came to do a presentation, and since I was a gymnast (yes, a gymnast, STOP LAUGHING JENNY!!! >.<; ) I volunteered to have my wrist taped. When they asked if I wanted to have it taken off or kept on, I kept it on, since I have gymnastics at 4:30, and I can totally freak out my coach! n_________n
Fourth period (History) - We got to watch part of this documentary on the French Revolution. But, OMG it was hilarious!! As Mr. Miller, my teacher, put it, King Louis XVI had a little trouble 'downstairs'. LMAO!!!
Fifth period (English) - I realized that the independant novel study sheet we had was exactly the same as the one I did last year, so I went to visit my old english teacher (Mrs. Holota). It went something like this:

Me- Have you been talking to my english teacher?
Holota- Maaaybe [wink]...Well, who do you have?
Me- Morgan. (Ms. Morgan)
Holota- Oh, yeah. I gave her the idea for your novel study.
Me- I KNEW IT!!!
Both- [Laughs]
Me- Yeah, so I chose this book (Holds up second book in Diablo Series, The Dark Road)
Holota- Oh yeah, I've read that book. It's awesome. Freaky at parts, but awesome.
Me- (Thinking, OMG, she's such an awesome teacher!!) Sweet! Well, that settles it, I'm totally doing it then.
Me- [Leaves]

Yeah, I freaking love all my english teachers. Who knows, I just seem to connect with them really well. First Mrs. Holota, then Mr. Stevens, now Ms. Morgan!! n______n

AND THAT'S NOT ALL!!!

My dad had to stop by the bowling alley he owns to do some work. While he was in the office, I was talking to the people working, Shirley (a woman I've known since I was in bowling at age 4), and Saun (Pronounced Shawn, someone who's incredibly funny). They kept trying to feed me, and dad said he'd need more time, so I agreed, and Saun made me poutine. (n____n) Then, Shirley asked if I wanted a drink, and she gave me a Slush Puppie!! SO MUCH SUGAR!!! Anyways, I kept saying she was trying to make me fat. >.<;;

Then, on the way home, my dad played Great Big Sea's 'Old Black Rum', and now I'm doing that crazy Irish kicking dance to it. WAAAAY too much sugar. n__n.

And so, that's my insane day so far. And it's only 1:25!!! n____________n
