        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ I just went to a summer art program out of town which was one of the best experiences of my life. As such, I have lots of new, much better work to post.<br /><br />First off, my final project for my comic art class is available online here http://www.webcomicsnation.com/angryviking/trenchwalker/series.php<br /><br />I'm not terribly proud of it...I scrambled to do all the art in the last week, amidst final projects for other classes and while I was sick.         <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ Brief little break for some video links.<br /><br />For my amateurish animation "career", I've started a Youtube account simply because it's the only way I can find to share my animation digitally with my friends on the internet. No, I do not hope to be "discovered" by viral video addicts and made famous. I just want that fleeting pleasure of being able to type my name into an internet search and actually find my own work.<br /><br />Anyway, the trailer for a short hand-drawn animation I did as a school film study is online.         <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ So I finally actually have stuff I'm working on.<br /><br />I've currently storyboarded a 12-page story for issue one of a new "series" called "Dreamscience Comics". It's basically an absurd recollection of various dreams loosely woven into a plot. I've drawn like five pages or so and thus far it's been barrels of fun.<br /><br />I have plans to turn it into a little xerox mini-comic as I used to do for almost everything I drew....I haven't done one of these since I wrapped up (or rather, stopped in the middle of a story without concluding) Armageddon Boy last summer.<br /><br />After that I have plans for a REALLY long comic story that I may or may not finish.         <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ Well, I had writer's block for about two weeks solid. The only comic art I produced was one page of a story that I will probably never finish. But....I think I've got stuff to work on now. So here's the "Update", more for myself than anyone else.<br /><br />After a very long time I finished my first autobiographical comic ever, a five page peice called "Pregnant and Homeless". I'm actually very proud of how it turned out. For once, the final product looks very much like the original idea and more. The interface isn't perfect (in fact it's a bit ugly) but it's a site that a lot of people I admire use and I've spent most of today setting up a free account.<br /><br />Since many old issues of Armageddon boy are out of print I'm trying to put the ones that I can online in this format. So far I've got the first issue (also my first ever mini comic, so the art's a bit shabby) on. It has a few glitches (for instance sometimes the pages appear a lot bigger than I set it up to, so you might have to scroll around) but overall I think I've finally gotten it ]]></media:text>

It took over a month and a half to draw my stuff, since my timing for planning a romance story very inconvenientally coincided with the greatest period of romantic maturation so far in my life (making me rewrite the ending almost every page, going cynical-happy-cynical-happy, etc) and term paper/ exams were going on. So small that every other zine artist on devart is probably stunned and laughing at how amateur I am.<br /><br />Point is, I'm looking for ways to get my comics out. If anyone wants a copy, I'd be more than happy to mail (or even email) you a free sample of my work. I won't make money, but I'm not in it for the cash now.
