Spring Break is here, and I think the average person is doing something spring breaky like. Except me. The only evenful thing I've done is clean out the garden. Actually, I shouldn't even call it that, more like a jungle XD I wish I was in Flo-Ri-Da with my sister. Though, I don't like Flo-Ri-Da that much.

But I'm happy! I found songs from one of my favorite anime, Eureka Seven. I got "Canvas", "Tip Taps Tip", "To the Center of the Sun", and "Secret Base". I really love those songs and the anime is really good. It's a bit underrated outside of Japan I think.

But, three victories did go my way: Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United all make it to the next round in the UEFA Champions League! I’m hoping that Arsenal will take it all the way.

I've had the Amber Spyglass for over a month, or two, now, and I still haven't made that much progress in it. I'm not even half way through. The first two books, Golden Compass/Northern Lights and the Subtle Knife, were really good and I read them in like a week. This one's just boring a bit. And Lyra doesn't seem to be the main character in this one.

A Thousand Splendid Suns was really good, though the ending seemed to drag on a bit.

I think I may have failed my English mid-term.

Man, Lifetime movies are so cliché. It's always about some women’s baby being kidnapped. Or, it’s dealing with a woman obsessed with another woman’s husband, who goes on a killing rampage just so she can be with that man, only for her to be killed in the end. They could at least spice it up a bit, like have the obsessed woman get the man in the end. That would be interesting.

I finished the Golden Compass a day ago. My brother was trying to get me to play Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (I’m Legolas!) with him, but I’m like: “Three more pages! Most finish!”. The ending was so good. Haven’t read a good book like that in ages. My library didn’t have the second one when I got there, only the first and third. I hope they have the second one.

So, my second semester at Hogwarts has finally ended. Now I have to see if my grades are good enough for me to return for a third semester. To be honest, I want to take a break, so I’m hoping they’re bad I’m happy that I got an “A” on my art final, considering I was rushing to finish it the day I turned it in. I might put up some stuff from art class, though they’re mostly still life.

I went to the library a few days ago and reverted back to childhood by borrowing The Golden Compass/Northern Lights([link]) and Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever([link]). The Golden Compass is really good, though it kind of pisses me off that they went for that title for the movie (has NOTHING to do with a golden compass). I think they even call it a golden compass in the movie. It's an a alethiometer([link]), not a compass! And I haven’t come across any atheism yet.

A long time ago, I read Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment. My mom had borrowed it, thinking it was a mystery novel (the guy that wrote it write books for adults, too). The first one was good, so we’ll see about the second.

I also got Brave New World([link]), which someone in the complaints forum had mentioned before.

And, I also read these books a while aback, A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels([link]), both I thought were good. The third and final one is coming out this month, think it’s the day after Christmas. They’re planning on making them into a movie. Not sure if it’s a good thing considering it’s linked to Mel Gibson.

Yeah! I survived my first week of my second semester of college
Got a laptop. My mom’s actually paying for it (rental), which means it’ll be gone by next week I need to get my lazy ass a job, I’m gonna try looking tomorrow, since I don’t go to school on Fridays So here’s a rundown of my classes.

Computer Science/Computer Programming:
8:00 in the morning. It’s okay so far. But I have to figure out how to configure binary numbers. Spanish One:
Pretty easy. I had up to level three in high school, so I think I’m okay. Except for those damn accent marks.

Psychology:
Why the hell am I in this class? Teacher’s funny though.

Drawing One:
Fun class, two much materials needed though. But I’m ready to improve my drawing.

Design One:
Another fun class. Our first assignment is to take a match box and make it into a “self portrait”. I’m doing mine as a diary, and it opens up to reveal something about me on the inside.
